TIME TO HIT THE ROAD FOR FLORIDA....

Will be wrapping up this "recharge" time in the mountains of East Tennessee.  Sure do love the "Retreat Cabin"!!

Cindy and I are looking to a time when we can spend more time up here.  It's such a sweet spot.

Will be pointing the nose of the Ford Escape back to Florida.  It's a 12 hour drive, but one that I rather enjoy.

The Fall leaves are exploding in glorious color.  Good for the soul.

Time to pack up and "hit the road".

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

WHAT A VIEW....

There's a gentle rain, the leaves are simply spectacular, the view is breathtaking and coffee is delicious.

What a lovely time to take it in and reload and recharge.  The "Next Mission" will come soon enough.  God is good....all the time!!!

Will be heading back to Florida tomorrow.  Today, will just take it easy and rest and enjoy this amazing beauty and tranquility.

I know I say this every single day to you, but I truly appreciate your precious prayer, love and support!!

THANK YOU for meandering down this road of life with me.

What a joy it is to serve the Lord!  Again, THANK YOU!!!

PICKING THRU STORMS....SPECTACULAR COLORS....TIME TO "RELOAD"

I met John Kater, R.A.M.'s Director of Aviation on the ramp at Nassau where we prepared the Caravan for the trip back to Knoxville.

The R.A.M. medical team had spent the last week in Nassau offering and giving FREE medical care to nearly 1000 patients.  PRAISE GOD for this gift!!

We loaded the 2000 pounds of medical equipment into the R.A.M. Cessna Caravan.  What an amazing aircraft.  Can surely carry a whopping load.

Early yesterday morning, we met at the airport and prepared to depart for our journey back to the R.A.M. home base.

Our first stop would be to clear Customs at Fort Pierce, FL.  Then a quick stop in Sanford FL to drop some "Avionics" equipment off for repair.  Then....to Knoxville through a line of thunderstorms.

THANK GOD for on-board Radar.  John did a great job of helping me pick my way through the wicked thunder bumpers.

We finally got to the end of the "line of thunderstorms" and broke out over the lovely Smoky Mountains.  We landed at Downtown Knoxville Airport, the home base for R.A.M.  PRAISE GOD for a safe journey.

After landing, headed back to the "Retreat Cabin" in the Ford Escape.

This morning, gazing out over the spectacular colors of fall in the Smokies, I just PRAISE GOD for the safe journey and a time of rest and....the "next mission".

As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

ON SCHEDULE...LAND /LOAD / FLY

Landed in Nassau right on schedule, thanks to Jet Blue.

Met John Kater and awaited the load of medical equipment to be flown back to the U.S.

We were awaiting completion of the R.A.M. Medical outreach that brought FREE dental care to literally hundreds on the Island.

The R.A.M. Grand Caravan is a real "LOAD-HAULER".

Up early this morning and getting ready to fly the Caravan back to the U.S. along with a ton of medical equipment that will be used on the next R.A.M. Medical Expedition.

Love working together with R.A.M.!  Love flying the Caravan!!

Time to head to the airport and fly.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

ON THE MOVE...IN THE AIR

In just a few minutes, will be heading to the airport to catch a Jet Blue flight back to the Bahamas.

Once there, will be meeting up with the R.A.M. (Remote Area Medical) Team to load the Cessna Grand Caravan with medical equipment and bring it all back to Knoxville, TN.

I count it a joy to work with R.A.M.  I so well recall when I first met Stan Brock, the Founder of R.A.M.

We worked very closely together immediately following the terrible Haiti Earthquake of 2010.

I sure do miss my dear Brother!!

Even after Stan passed away last year, we're still working very closely with R.A.M.

Well, it's time to hit the road and catch that Jet Blue flight.  As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

GETTING READY....

Had a wonderful day of rest and saw an amazing football game between my LSU Tigers and the Auburn Tigers.

We watched it at my son, Christian's home. We're all "Tiger" (LSU) fans!

Both teams played very hard and LSU squeaked out a win.  Final score:  23-20.

GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Today, will be back at the hospital as Chaplains bringing the Good News of Jesus to those who are hurting.

Also, getting ready to fly the "Next Mission".

Will fly on Jet Blue back to the Bahamas and then will fly the R.A.M. Cessna Grand Caravan back to it's home base in Tennessee.

BTW, I'm fully recovered from the biopsy and ready to go.  PRAISE GOD!!

As always, THANK YOU for precious prayer, love and support!!!

TAKING IT "EASY"

On this Saturday, going to watch some football and do a couple of light chores around the house.

Must admit, it is nice to just take it easy for a bit on a lovely Saturday.

BTW, LSU is playing Auburn at LSU this afternoon.

Now, that's going to be a great football game.

Geaux Tigers!!

Our home Church, Redeemer is having a fall shindig on the grounds this afternoon.

That'll be fun.

Meanwhile, I'm preparing for our next mission.....back to the Bahamas.

Will be returning to the Bahamas early next week to fly the R.A.M. Cessna Grand Caravan back to Tennessee.

Love flying that "Big Bird"

So THANKFUL that there has been NO infection or complications from the recent biopsy.

We're standing and believing for a complete HEALING!!!

THANK YOU for your truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!

BACK HOME....

Had an excellent flight from Nassau to Orlando on Bahamas Air.

In the meantime, I have several medical tests that need to be conducted at the Moffitt Cancer Institute in Tampa.

Early this morning, Cindy and I will drive across the state for those tests.  Please PRAY for a safe journey across the I-4 Corridor and for a successful and safe biopsy.

After the tests and procedure, will spend a few quiet days at home.  Again, we're PRAYING for complete healing!

Will return to Nassau to fly the Grand Caravan back to Tennessee when the R.A.M. (Remote Area Medical)  Medical Expedition is finished early next week.

AND....ON TO NASSAU

Was up early yesterday morning in Knoxville, TN and preparing the Cessna Grand Caravan for our next flight to the Bahamas.

Our route had us fuel in Jacksonville, FL and then on to Nassau.  Had a little weather to work around.

I love flying with John Kater. He's a GREAT pilot and I learn something (a lot!) every flight.

Our "Mission": Fly in over 2100 pounds of vital medical equipment / supplies / medicine in Advance for a R.A.M. (Remote Area Medical) Medical team who will providing free medical care for hundreds in the Bahamas .

The big Cessna Grand Caravan did a good job of "delivering the mail".

When the medical team arrives, all of their equipment will be waiting for them.  Praise God!!!

Now, the R.A.M. Team will be in the Bahamas for a week.

I need to get back to the U.S. for some more medical tests at the Moffitt Cancer Center.

So, this morning, I'll be boarding a Bahamas Air flight back to Florida.  Will return in a few days to fly the Caravan back to Tennessee.

It's time to head to the airport and catch my flight home.  As always, THANK YOU for your precious and truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!!

BACK TO KNOXVILLE....

Some time ago R.A.M. (Remote Area Medical) asked me to assist in getting a medical team into the Bahamas*.

I agreed to fly the Cessna Grand Caravan as Pilot in Command.

I jumped in my Ford Escape and drove the 11 hours to Knoxville yesterday.  Will be joined in the cockpit with John Kater, a great Pilot.

I still chuckle at this shot of John and I standing next to the Caravan.

We kind of look like "Hobbits".  The Caravan is a BIG BIRD & can carry a BIG LOAD!

I'm still blessed by the amazing flights we made on Sunday to the Abacos, Bahamas.

We were able to reach into communities that were absolutely devastated and still suffering long after Hurricane Dorian has departed.

Bringing CLEAN WATER where desperately needed is just a pure joy!!

I love putting my foot in the bucket of dirty water and then taking a nice long drink after...it goes through the Rescuer.

Now, that's PROOF that the Air Mobile Rescuer WORKS!

I truly appreciate working together with R.A.M.  We've done missions together all over the world.

It is a good and pleasant thing when "God's people work together in unity!!"

It's time to head to the airport and get in that big bird and fly back to the Bahamas.  GOD IS GOOD!!!

As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

*PS - For security reasons, I do not give any details of the flight, or route or destination until AFTER the mission is completed.

WHAT A DAY!!!!

We "squeezed" in behind Tropical Storm Nestor and flew a 1954 Beechcraft Bonanza...a very sweet bird!

We flew Katrina Sasine, a Nurse Practioner into Treasure Key, where she will be relieving Dr. Pam Mosely at the clinic in Green Turtle Key on Abaco.

God bless you Trina for your heart to serve!

We were joined by Bob Bostic, Founder & Director of "Deliver the Difference".  Bob and I have worked together around the world.  Love working with this guy!!!

My Co-Pilot for the day was Ian, a great pilot!!!

We then linked up with Gordon, our amazing driver and so much more.  Gordon knows "everyone" on the Island and is an invaluable asset in our helping us bring clean water where desperately needed.

We're fulfilling a promise and executing a "Plan" to get clean water into a Haitian community on Abaco.

We stopped to see Elsie, who is considered the "Mayor" of this community.  We were checking her well to see how the salinity level was.  We're praying her wells clean up.

We met with Pastor Jenson (AKA:  Pastor Jenny).  He is an absolute jewel.  He is the Pastor for the Haitian Church in the Farm.

We then headed to the "Farm", where a large number of Haitians live and are often 'forgotten' when it comes to relief.

We tested 2 wells and PRAISE GOD, they both had acceptable levels of salt, in other words, not too salty.

Soon, we were setting up an Air Mobile Rescuer and training the operators and most important 'DEMONSTRATING' how this amazing machine works.

NOTICE that I put my sweaty foot and a sandal in the bucket of water to be purified.

There's no better proof than drinking water that has been purified by the Rescuer from a well with unknown bacteria, viruses but, has an acceptable level of salt.

We were able to show the simple set up, 1 MINUTE, and how to maintain the unit to keep it running for years to come!

Now, comes my favorite part....
PRESENTING THE AIR MOBILE RESCUER TO THE FARM ON ABACO, BAHAMAS!

On the way back to the airport, we confirmed our "PLAN" and what our next moves will be.

We then flew from Treasure Key to Marsh Harbor where we would meet Jana of Open World Relief.

Jana has already placed water purifiers and now, she can test the prospective water sources with the Ex-Tech EC500.

It was a joy to present Jana with her own tester.

After the long day, we aimed the nose of the old Bonanza back to the U.S.

After clearing Customs in Fort Pierce, we touched down at Titusville.

All I can say is PRAISE GOD for such a day!!

As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!!

SLIPPING BEHIND NESTOR

Tropical Storm Nestor is still kicking up winds, waves & rain.

Fortunately for much of the southeast U.S., the rain is a blessing.

Here's more on this "late-season" storm - WHAT TROPICAL STORM NESTOR HAS IN STORE....

We're still waiting for this storm to pass.

In the meantime, we're preparing for our next mission to the Islands.

The situation in the Bahamas is still extremely difficult.  We've been working with medical teams and will be helping to move personnel in and out.

We're also bringing in critical testing equipment to be able to identify the best sources of water to clean.  PRAISE GOD for these tools!!

So, on this "blustery" Sunday morning, we're preparing for our next mission.  As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

WAITING ON NESTOR....& "PODCAST" UPDATE

Always "respect" weather.  In this case, we're simply waiting for Tropical Storm Nestor to pass.

This late season storm is certainly "slopping up" our route to the Islands.

Here's more on TS Nestor - TROPICAL STORM NESTOR BRINGS MULTIPLE THREATS ON THE FLORIDA GULF COAST

Then, as our Lord leads, we'll head back to the Bahamas.  We'll be bringing in medical personnel to replace teams in-place.

We'll also be bringing in test equipment to help qualify sources of water to be purified.

BTW, have decided to add the Ex-Tech EC500 into every Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier.

I talk a bit about this upgrade on the "PodCast" below.  Be sure to check it out, it's an exciting addition to an already great machine!!

As always, will have my "Rescuer Tool Kit" with me to service machines in-place.  Being as we manufacture the Rescuer, we have any and all replacement components to keep these machines running for years!!

But...until Nestor passes, we wait.  Here's the latest shot on the WX.

And....it just so happens that this afternoon, my beloved LSU Tigers will take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs.  This is always a good game.

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

KEEPING AN EYE ON THE GULF....

Later today, this weather system may become Tropical Storm Nestor.  If so, it will bring a lot of much needed rain for southeast.

However, it may also delay our next flight to the Bahamas.

Here's more - DANGER BREWING IN THE GULF

Tropical Storm Nestor is growing in intensity hour by hour.

We're tracking the storm closely.

Had a good drive to and from Tampa yesterday.  MRI's are not for the claustrophobic, that's for sure.

I'm THANKFUL for good doctors and certainly praying for them to have great wisdom.  And above all... believing God for  complete healing.

We certainly are appreciative to you, who stand so faithfully with us!

Your prayer, love and support is absolutely vital to this mission.  God bless you and THANK YOU again!!!

MORE TESTS & THANK YOU EX-TECH!

Today, will be crossing the state of Florida for Tampa to the Moffitt Cancer Institute.  There, will be doing more tests to properly identify the best course to take to beat this cancer.

Of course, we're PRAYING for our Lord's HEALING to take place.  THANK YOU for joining us in PRAYER!!

Yesterday, I phoned a top Manager for Ex-Tech, the company that makes the EC-500 tester.

This portable device packs a powerful punch in qualifying acceptable water sources to be purified.

ExTech agreed to overnight a special unit with vital accessories....at NO CHARGE!

THANK YOU EX-TECH!

Meanwhile, we're lining up our next flight to the Abacos.  So THANKFUL to my good friends at Spaceport Aviation for making this aircraft available to us.

We're getting very CLOSE to getting our beloved Little Donkey back up in the air!

Just awaiting a few more components / accessories that are being overhauled.

I can hardly wait to fly that sweet little bird again!!!

Time to head over to Tampa.  As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

PLANNING & FLYING & BELIEVING....

Going to be doing a lot of flying in the next few weeks.  Will be returning to the Abacos to follow up on Air Mobile Rescuers in place.

Will also be providing more training on the Operation and Maintenance to the Operators on the these amazing machines.

Will also be providing test instruments to qualify acceptable water sources to the operators.

The fact that we can take extremely dirty water and make it extremely clean is just incredible!

The Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier is truly a gift from God!!

In this shot, Chris Mobley, son of Doctors Ed & Pam Mobley is making clean water on the "deck".  Their home was completely destroyed by Hurricane Dorian.

Dr. Pam Mobley chose to ride the Hurricane out and was there in the immediate aftermath of this horrible storm.  God bless you Dr. Pam for your courage and love for others!!

Recently, I had the distinct privilege to fly Chris and Dr. Pam back to the U.S. for some much needed rest.

BTW, Dr. Pam is already back in the Abacos giving vital medical care.  BRAVO DR. PAM!!

In between the flights, will be over in Tampa getting more tests done at the Moffitt Cancer Institute.

Now, I want to say here and now, I am BELIEVING God for complete healing and praying for the doctors to have extreme wisdom and understanding.  WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!

THANK YOU, for your invaluable and truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!!

PULLED AN "ALL-NIGHTER"....

Was on the road (from the Cabin to Florida) a bit later than anticipated.

That put me in North Carolina having dinner with our son, Peter and his friend Mike...later than anticipated.

So...after a lovely dinner and a fun time with Peter and Mike, I hit the road and just drove all the way home.

Rolled up to our home in Florida at 6:30am.

I'm getting older and these "All-Nighters" & 13.5 hours of hard driving are harder to pull off.

It's a fact, Coffee does help!!  Glad to be home!!

So, this blog is short and sweet as I'm pulling down the curtains and going to sleep.  As always, THANK YOU for your precious and truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!!

A CHILLY MORNING & A LONG DRIVE...

Winter is sneaking into the mountains of East Tennessee.  Glad we have plenty of firewood.

I'm THANKFUL to have had a few quiet, restful days up here at the "Retreat Cabin".

Will be hitting the road for the 12 hour drive back to Florida this morning.  Will stop and visit our son Peter along the way.  He's in a lovely part of North Carolina.

During this time in Tennessee, have been able to line up some flights to the Bahamas in the R.A.M. (Remote Area Medical) Cessna Grand Caravan.

What a great bird and a hefty load hauler.

Once back in Florida, have some more medical tests to do.

Will also be preparing for our next missions to the Bahamas.

Have been requested to move some medical personnel into and out of the Bahamas.

I truly admire the doctors who have been serving so faithfully since the terrible Hurricane Dorian demolished the region.

While in the Bahamas, will be working with Volunteers who have been helping get clean water into critical areas of need.  Looking forward to working with them.

Will also be working with Bob Bostic of "Deliver the Difference" and John Clarke of "No One Hungry".

Bob and John are critical in coordinating getting food and other vital medical supplies into disaster areas. Love working with these guys!!

Bob will be joining me on these next missions to the Bahamas.

Well, it's time load to up and hit the road.  Please PRAY for traveling mercy as I drive the 12 hour trip back to Florida.

As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

REST & PEACE & PRAY

Enjoying the peace and quiet at the cabin.  Outside, in the political halls of America, I hear roaring & yelling.

As for me and my house, we will quietly pray for our leaders and pray for our Lord to have His way.  There, that is my stand on politics.

I'm THANKFUL for this "Retreat Cabin".   This time of rest is good for the soul and body.  It is an excellent time to "recharge" my batteries, so to speak.

Soon, I'll be heading back to Florida and engaging in a number of relief flights to the Bahamas & beyond.

Heading to Church this morning.  BTW, so THANKFUL  that we can worship God with FREEDOM.

So, on this chilly, quiet Sunday morning, I say to you, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

GETTING READY....

For some reason, it's rather difficult to find a "dry" battery, one that does not have the battery acid installed.

You add the acid when you're ready to "activate" the battery, thereby extending the battery life considerably.

Well, I found a couple of batteries and had to drive 150 miles round trip to pick them up.

This is just one more thing to do in PREPARING for what might lie ahead.

Hurricane Dorian certainly showed us just how powerful and deadly storms can be and how EXTREMELY important it is to be PREPARED!

BTW, we're planning more relief flights into the Bahamas at this time.  We'll be bringing some medical teams in and out of the hardest hit islands.

We're so THANKFUL for the many volunteers who are giving of themselves to help those who have been devastated in the Bahamas.

We'll also be bringing in some test instruments to help identify the best water sources to purify with the Air Mobile Rescuer.

And today, I'll be working around the cabin and then, this evening, going to a Buffalo Wild Wings to watch my beloved LSU Tigers take on the Florida Gators.  Going to be a great game.  GEAUX TIGERS!!

Time to get to work.  As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

BACK AT THE CABIN

Caught the late Allegiant flight from Florida back to Tennessee last night.

Rolled back up to the cabin around 2:00am.  Slept in, thus the late blog.

Had a wonderful time speaking to a group of Business Leaders yesterday in Florida.  Always a joy to share the Grace of God in my life.  God is good....all the time!!

Now, that I'm back in Tennessee, will be in close coordination with R.A.M. (Remote Area Medical) to fly their Cessna Grand Caravan back to the Bahamas.  We're planning a couple of missions at this time.

BTW, just spoke with our mechanic Paul, on the progress of the Little Donkey and the engine change.  All is going well.  Have a few more accessories and components that are being overhauled.

Can't begin to tell you what a BLESSING it will be to have that sweet little bird back in the air!!

I'm so THANKFUL to friends who so generously "loan" me their aircraft to fly critical missions but....it'll be so nice having the Little Donkey back in service!!!

Time to get on with some chores at the "Retreat Cabin".  As always, THANK YOU for your INVALUABLE and truly APPRECIATED prayer, love and support!!!!

A WHIRLWIND "MISSION"....

Yesterday morning, I was at the R.A.M. Hangar in Knoxville, TN.  Saw them off on another "mission".

We're currently working on another "Mission" to the Bahamas and "possibly"  using both R.A.M. Cessna Caravans (great load haulers).

After the Caravan "spooled" up and headed out, I dashed to the Knoxville International Airport and caught an Allegiant flight home.  1 hour & 19 minutes later, we landed in Orlando.  Love it!!

Today, will be speaking to a group of Christian Business Leaders (Impact Brevard).  I'm thankful for the opportunity to share our Lord's grace and guidance in the business arena.

After speaking, will be catching an evening Allegiant flight back to Knoxville...to continue working on securing additional aircraft for the Bahama "mission".

BTW, this is not a plug for Allegiant Airlines, but the cost of the ticket was about the same as the cost for driving 2 - 12 hour drives, with a lot less "wear & tear" on both equipment and bodies.

Time to put the final touches on my message for "Impact Brevard".  As always, THANK YOU for your precious and truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!!

A QUICK TURN....

Up early, heading to Knoxville to catch an Allegiant flight to Florida.

Will make a brief stop at the Downtown Island Airport (KDKX) to meet with John Kater, Aviation Director for R.A.M. (Remote Area Medical).

We'll be discussing the logistics for the next flight to the Bahamas in the Cessna Grand Caravan.  Looking forward to that.

Several months ago, I was invited to speak in behalf of "Impact Brevard".

This organization is comprised of a group of business leaders who want to bring glory to God in the business arena in East Central Florida.

I'll be speaking to the group tomorrow .  After the meeting, will get right back on another Allegiant flight back to Tennessee.

Whew, truly a quick turn around.  The Allegiant flights will save a lot of "wear & tear" on my body, as the drive is 12 hours and the flight is just over an hour.  Thank God for commercial flights.

So, it's time to hit the road to Knoxville and the whirlwind of meetings & flights.  As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

ANOTHER DIMENSION....

I first met Tony and Melissa Baratta after the terrible Haiti Earthquake (2010).

This couple has an extraordinary gift of telling the story via video.  They have made a number of documentaries of our work around the world.

While on a recent "mission" to California following some powerful earthquakes, Tony encouraged me to do a Podcast from time to time to add another dimension to this rambling blog.

Tony has made this so easy (that is his gift).  Now, no matter where I may be around the world, I can phone in and do a "live" report on what is happening on "three60radio".

This added blessing also gives you the ability to hear first-hand what's going on and most importantly, how you can PRAY!

The podcast yesterday evening deals with some serious thoughts about how we can PREPARE for what lies ahead.

Click on the link below to check it out.

In addition to the podcast, I've finally begun to use the remarkable camera on my I-phone.

From time to time, am able to capture the moment with short video clips.

While in search of stand-by, back-up batteries, I captured this view along the road here in the mountains of East Tennessee.

These tools, the blog, video clips and "Three60Radio" (podcasts) help me to share more fully things that are happening.

THANK YOU Tony & Melissa for sharing your gifts with me.  And THANK YOU, those who meander along the road of life with me through this rambling blog.  So appreciate your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

TODAY IS THE DAY FOR "DOING"

Borrowed that line from Home Depot

It's been on my mind, as of late, to do what we can to "PREPARE".  Of course, just having made multiple flights into the Bahamas following Hurricane Dorian, one can certainly see the extreme necessity to "PREPARE"!

To further add to this "prompting to prepare", was visiting with my dear friends, Richard & Teresa Suarez up here in Tennessee.  Yesterday evening, we were discussing this very  situation and we all agreed that the time to PREPARE is NOW!

To further...further add to this subject of PREPARING, just hung up talking to my good friend, Tony Baratta.  Tony helps me with the "Three60Radio" PodCast.  He's been getting the same message...to PREPARE.  Hmmm, maybe something is going on.

Now, I know, PREPARING is a big subject with a lot of "moving parts".  Our conclusion was to focus in on just one thing and go do it today.

It may be buying a long-life back up battery, or just buying some extra food or....whatever pops into your mind and what you have the $$ to pay for.

The important thing is to do something, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem.

However, the MOST IMPORTANT thing to do is to PRAY and and ask our Lord what He would have you do.

There, that's my encouragement word for the day.  "TODAY IS THE DAY FOR "DOING"!

Will be in meetings with Remote Area Medical (RAM) about possible relief flights in the Cessna Caravan.

You may recall that RAM "loaned" us their Grand Caravan to fly water purifiers into the Bahamas.

THANK YOU RAM!!

So, on this beautiful day in the Mountains of East Tennessee, we're preparing for the next mission.

As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

10-6-19 Sunday 8:57 AM (Eastern U.S. Time) - In the Mountains of East Tennessee  (Air Mobile 'Retreat Cabin') - Report submitted by:  Air Mobile Joe

15 HOURS LATER....

Well, about 2:30 AM I rolled up to the Retreat Cabin in the lovely mountains of East Tennessee.

Had an "uneventful" trip...THANK GOD.  Slept-in a bit this morning.

Yesterday, stopped at a Buffalo Wild Wings around noon and enjoyed some Football.

It just so happened that my team was playing.

LSU played Utah State and yes, LSU won 42-6.  I sure do love my Tigers, especially when they win!

What a nice way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon.

You know, it's easy to "take things for granted"

Just the fact that I could drive 700+ miles on very smooth roads and not have to worry about being attacked or where would I get food or fuel?

I'm reminded of where I just was in the Bahamas.  My heart breaks for those who have lost everything.  So many are unaccounted for.

I'm extremely THANKFUL for so many who have donated toward bringing clean water to those in such need!

While here in Tennessee, will be working on our next mission and meeting with some folks who want to help in the Bahamas and...beyond.

Time to head to church.  THANK GOD for the Religious Freedom that we truly enjoy in America!  We have so much for which to be THANKFUL!!

ON THE ROAD....AGAIN

About to hit the road for a 12 hour drive to Tennessee.  I love this drive.  It's beautiful.

Great highways, plenty of gas stations with gas at a reasonable price, unlimited restaurants to get delicious food.  Ahhh, America!

My mind goes back to where I was 48 hours ago.  On Abaco Island in the Bahamas.

Absolutely devastated by Hurricane Dorian, one of the strongest storms to hit the area in recorded history.

My heart breaks for so many who are suffering right now.  May I encourage you to just scroll down to the blog below titled "A Journey to Ground Zero".  I captured the mission in my blog.

My trip to Tennessee will assist me in making more missions to the Bahamas.  PLEASE PRAY for a successful journey.

As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!

10-4-19 Friday 5:57 AM (Eastern U.S. Time) - Titusville, FL  (Air Mobile 'Home Base') - Report submitted by:  Air Mobile Joe

A JOURNEY TO GROUND ZERO....

Yesterday began early with loading the sweet Piper Geronimo.  THANK YOU Spaceport Aviation for lending us your airplane.

Before loading the Geronimo, I just had to take another peek at the beautiful, freshly overhauled engine for the Little Donkey.

Oh, I can hardly wait to get that sweet little bird back in the air!

While loading, I got a text from Kathy Law with the good news of funding another Rescuer!  THANK YOU Scott & Kathy!!

I was joined on this mission with Jeff, a sea captain, pilot and great friend.  Welcome aboard Jeff!!

We made the flight to Abaco in about 2 hours.  On final approach, we could see the evidence of how Dorian just inundated and pummeled this Island for 24+ hours.

We were met at the airport by Gordon, a great friend and brother in Christ.

He then took us to the area primarily inhabited by Haitians.  Many had fled, but we found Elsie, a Haitian who is slowly, painstakingly, trying to rebuild her life.

Elsie has a well that just may work with an Air Mobile Rescuer.  We were able do some testing on the well to determine it's suitability to bring clean water to this community.

As we were driving, a good plan began to evolve.  We'd be working with the local Pastor to this community and returning to do training and get CLEAN WATER into this community.

Upon arriving back at the airport, I was able to present an Air Mobile Rescuer to Gordon.

He would then line up the training meeting with the Pastor Jen when he returns to the Island.  PRAISE GOD for a GOOD PLAN!!

Now, in addition to this journey and plan to bring clean water, I was there to fly Dr. Pam Mobley and her son, Chris out of Abaco for a much needed break.

Pam chose to STAY & ride out Hurricane Dorian.  She knew how bad it would be, yet she also knew that many would need her medical gifts and skills after Dorian passed.

I take off my hat to Dr. Pam for her courage and strength and love for others!!!

What an honor to fly Pam and Chris out for this desperately needed break.

After the smooth, quick flight back to the U.S., we were met by Pam's husband, Dr. Ed Mobley.

Can't begin to tell you what a joy it was to bring Pam home, safely to her husband.

BTW, Ed and I stayed in very close touch throughout all of the storms and danger and fear of loss of Pam.

We THANK GOD for keeping this precious lady in His hands!!

Well, all I can say is...WHAT A DAY!!

I still find it hard to believe that our Lord allows me to do this!!  What a joy, what a privilege!

So, as I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

A GOOD PLAN & A PLANE FOR THE DAY....

We've found an aircraft to use for the day.  Will be heading back to the Bahamas with more Air Mobile Rescuers and a good load of food!

PRAISE GOD!!!

Looking forward to TRAINING operators and strategically placing Rescuer water purifiers in areas often "passed over".

Yesterday, Cindy and I drove to Tampa to the Moffitt Cancer Center.  Spent hours going over strategies and discussing options with an excellent team of doctors.

We believe that our Lord is showing us the way to go.  THANK YOU for your PRAYER!

It's time to head to the airport and fire up that sweet little airplane that has been made available to us.

As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!!

A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT.....

Oh, it's so good to see that BEAUTIFUL engine on the Little Donkey!

We still have a ways to go before that long-awaited "Test Flight".

We have components being sent out for overhaul and parts on order.  I can hardly wait!!

In the meantime, we're building Air Mobile Rescuers and gathering food, medicine and critical supplies for the Bahamas.

Also, I'm calling on my friends to "loan" me an airplane again for our next mission to the Bahamas.

Today, Cindy and I will be traveling to Tampa to meet with several doctors to discuss my medical situation and the best course to take.

PLEASE pray for our Lord's wisdom and guidance and healing!!!

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

PREPARING....

We're building more Air Mobile Rescuers as well as gathering up supplies, food, tools, medicine etc., for our next mission.

As we know, the Hurricane Season IS NOT OVER.

Just saw that Hurricane Lorenzo has 100' WAVES near the center.

Here's more - HURRICANE LORENZO CHURNS UP SURF FOR THOUSANDS OF MILES ACROSS THE ATLANTIC; SOME WAVE HEIGHTS COULD TOP 100 FEET!!

It's a good plan to be PREPARED for what storms might lie ahead!!

Yesterday, Yahn (Premier Water Mule) and Bob Bostic of Deliver the Difference, loaded up more donated supplies to ship to the Bahamas.

In the meantime, we're working on another "Borrowed" airplane and may be flying back to the Bahamas....sooner than later.

BTW, we're making steady progress on getting the Little Donkey back in the air.  I can hardly wait!!

As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!
