I, like many, was up all night.  Oh, I drifted in and out of sleep, but followed the ELECTION RESULTS very closely.  

Was disappointed that we may not know who is going to be our President until later today or...beyond.

May every single vote & ballot be properly counted and that the results will be accurate! May any FRAUD be exposed!

Again, PRAY, PRAY, & PRAY SOME MORE!

I know that you PRAY, because so many of you have stood so faithfully with us.  THANK YOU for your prayer, love and support!!!

BRRRRR!

It's a very chilly, 28 degrees (!), this morning here in the mountains of East Tennessee.

Our dear friends, Lisa and April Menendez will be heading back to Florida today.

BTW, the Girls are holding some sweet potatoes that were grown in our Victory Garden.  Mmmmm.  

We've worked & ministered very closely with the Menendez Family at the hospital in Orlando for over 10 years.

So good having them with us for a few days.  Alfred, who is a true Rocket Scientist for NASA, remained in Florida working.  We sure love the Menendez family!! 

This is the first frost of the season.  Glad to have plenty of firewood and a warm snug cabin.

Tomorrow is ELECTION DAY and we'll be casting our vote as Tennessee Residents.  WE PRAY for our Lord's will to be done.  GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

FALL BACK.....

Not only are the leaves falling, but so has our clock.  Don't forget to set yours back or you'll be an hour early for church.

Have enjoyed our friends, Dennis and Barbara visiting with us.  We've been joined by 2 more Friends friends, Lisa and April Menendez.  

We love having our friends come and visit.  The fellowship around the table is just sweet.

CHORES ON A FRISKY MORNING & FRIENDS FROM AFAR    

It was a joy to have Dennis and Barbara drive up from Florida to the "Retreat Cabin".  

They have been a wonderful part of Air Mobile willing to come on a "mission" anytime, anywhere.  Praise God for good friends.

Up early this morning doing chores.  It's chilly with frost everywhere.  The ducks love it!

And....so do the horses.  Love watching them run and gallop.  It's like a dream come true.

So, on this chilly morning in the mountains of East Tennessee, we're just enjoying life.  GOD IS GOOD!!

CHILLY TODAY.....

Well, the "Season" is approaching.  Temps are just above freezing and the cabin is warm & snug.

Our good friends, Dennis and Barbara West will be arriving this afternoon.  They'll be spending a few days with us. Sure love these guys!!

I've been asked to assist Remote Area Medical (R.A.M.) with a Medical Outreach in a couple of weeks.  I'll be flying the R.A.M. Cessna Caravan to Lake Charles, LA.

We have a lot of contacts in Louisiana and I'm blessed to be able to assist them following the terrible series of Hurricanes. 

The other day, my good friend, Chuck Reich of Revelation Television called and asked if I'd share a "brief testimony" that may be aired on the Mike Lindell (My Pillow fame) broadcast to encourage those dealing with addictions.

HURRICANE ZETA ROARING THROUGH LOUISIANA & PASSING OVERHEAD IN TN

Hurricane Zeta slammed into Louisiana as a CAT 2 Hurricane bringing major flooding and wind damage and over 1,000,000+ without power.

Here's more - ZETA LEAVES 1.7 MILLION WITHOUT POWER & AT LEAST 2 DEAD AFTER SLAMMING GULF COAST!

Zeta is passing over Tennessee roaring at a forward speed of 25 mph, as I type this blog.

We've battened down the hatches and riding out the storm. No serious damage here in TN reported.

We're awaiting reports from the ground in Louisiana to determine what we can do to help.

On the home-front here at the Retreat Cabin, pleased to say that Cindy's Dad, Ron, is doing great.  So glad we've been able to get him up here.

This evening our dear friends, Dennis and Barbara West will be dropping in and spending a few days with us.

We're so THANKFUL to have this Retreat Cabin as a safe shelter.

ZETA PICKING UP SPEED...NEW ORLEANS IN THE BULLS EYE!

Back to back to back (7th!).....Hurricanes striking Louisiana and the U.S. Gulf Coast.  These folks are certainly going through some very tough times.  WE PRAY!!!

Here's more - HURRIANCE ZETA GAINING STRENGTH AND MAKING LAND-FALL LATER TODAY

Folks in the low-lying areas are evacuating and that is the right thing to do.  No need to take unnecessary chances.

Louisiana is already SATURATED and there is likely going to be a considerable STORM SURGE!

Air Mobile is standing by and ready to provide assistance if necessary.  The Little Donkey is ready and we have 5 Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers ready for immediate deployment.

We're getting heavy rain all day today here in Tennessee.

LOUISIANA.....HERE WE GO AGAIN!

Louisiana has been in the "Hurricane Track Cone" for the 7th time this season!  

Looks like Hurricane Zeta will strike the Gulf Coast tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon.  

We're keeping a close eye on Zeta's track!

We have 5 Air Mobile Rescuers strategically placed in Baton Rouge in the event they are needed.

The Little Donkey is all ready to go, likewise, if needed.

While on stand-by, sure enjoying the SPECTACULAR FALL COLORS.  My I-phone just can't quite "capture" the rich colors, but my mind will not forget them.

While out for a ride to town for supplies, I tried to capture those glorious colors.

We're just busy here at the Retreat Cabin.  Cindy's Dad is doing great.  Just happy to have been able to get him up here.

PRETTY VALLEY & STRENGTH RETURNING & ZETA COMING 

Just taken away by the "Fall Colors" that are popping out everywhere here in the Mountains of East Tennessee.

Ron, Cindy's Dad, is doing GREAT!  The fresh air and delicious, nutritious food that Cindy is preparing is doing wonders for Ron! He's gaining strength every day!!

So glad that we were able to get him up here when we did.  We're just having a blast.

And....we're keeping a very close eye on HURRICANE ZETA! Talk about a BUSY SEASON!

Hurricane Zeta is going to hit Cancun and then headed for the U.S. Gulf Coast.  We'll be ready!

MISSION..ACCOMPLISHED!

Yesterday, I had the privilege to escort my Father-in-Law, Ron up to Tennessee.

We began by flying an Allegiant Airlines flight from Orlando to Knoxville. The flight was smooth as silk and Ron made the journey beautifully!

My good friend, Mark met us at the Knoxville airport and drove us to meet Cindy.

Ron's strength held up and he made the trip just fine.  He's a tough old Marine!!

We then met Cindy at an intersection along the route.  Needless to say, she was VERY HAPPY to be with her father!

Oh, it's good to be home.  We're looking forward a lovely day of rest and celebration of getting Ron (AKA:  PEPE') home!

READY TO FLY....

Today, my Father-In-Law, Ron, and I will board an Allegiant jet in Orlando (Sanford) and fly back to Tennessee.

I'm pleased to say that our Lord has answered our prayers and Ron is in good shape and able to make the journey to the "Retreat Cabin".  PRAISE GOD!

I know that Cindy will be glad to have her Dad with us for a while.

LIKE CLOCKWORK.....

Yesterday, drove to Knoxville and caught an Allegiant Flite to Orlando, FL.  Flawless flight.

THANK YOU Allegiant and AnnLee (who provided great Buddy Passes)!

Rented a car and headed to Davenport, FL and arrived exactly on time.

There, I spent the night with my Father-in-Law, Ron Perron.  He was recently released from the Hospital and the plan is to fly back to Tennessee where Ron will spend some time with us at the Retreat Cabin.

BTW, it was Ron who introduced me to my Cindy many years ago.  Ron and Cindy ran "New Hope Mission" in Haiti. They needed a plane and pilot to fly them and supplies to Haiti.  

THANK YOU RON for bringing Cindy into my life!!

We'll be spending the day assessing whether or not Ron can make the flight.  We're up having coffee this morning.

PLEASE PRAY that Ron's strength returns and he can safely make the flight to Tennessee.

You may recall, several weeks ago, I flew Ti  Burik to Haiti and brought Ron back to the U.S.  Flights were very difficult to obtain and Ron needed Medical care.  

PRAISE GOD!  He's doing better now!

LAUNCH....

Today, will be flying on Allegiant Airlines to Orlando.   

Cindy's Dad, Ron (84 years old) has just been released from the Hospital in Orlando and I'll be escorting him back to Tennessee.  

Cindy will take excellent care of her Dad and I'm very pleased to have Ron come live with us.

We've been planning & PRAYING for this for a number of years and NOW is the time.

PLEASE PRAY that our journey back to Tennessee will be completely SUCCESSFUL!

FIELD OF DREAMS.....FOR THE VICTORY GARDEN & BEYOND

We're still enjoying the fruits of our last Victory Garden crops and now, we're preparing for our next crop.

Our main ingredient for our soil....horse manure!  Our 3 horses are hard at work providing us with abundant loads of the 'miracle fertilizer'!

And, my Sweet Cindy is also working hard, spreading that wonderful 'fertilizer' preparing for our next planting.

We're still enjoying the "fruit" for our Victory Garden, specifically SWEET POTATOES!

We had such an abundance of these sweet nutritious yams that Cindy has found many delicious ways to serve them.  Here's another way....Sweet Potato Biscuits!

And, on another front, I'm preparing to travel back to Florida for another "Rescue Mission".  Details are still coming together.  Sure would appreciate your PRAYERS for a Successful Mission!

MONDAY ON THE FARM....

In between missions, is a perfect time to take care of chores and many projects here at the "Retreat Cabin".

Up before sunrise taking care of the horses and ducks and getting Ari to the bus stop for her High School.  

BTW, she's doing great!  Park Avenue Christian Academy in Titusville laid a wonderful foundation for her.  She's also writing on book #4!  

She also loves her horse, Ti Gato and takes very good care of him. We're so proud of her!

Up here in the mountains of East Tennessee, the "Political" news doesn't "blair" as loudly.

Oh folks up here know what's going on, but they're more interested in their cattle, the next hay harvest and canning from the fall harvest.

And, there is a strong PRAYER MINISTRY for the outcome of this upcoming Election.  

As never before, Cindy and I are PRAYING for our President and all that are in office.  We PRAY for the elections to go smoothly and fairly.  

We PRAY FOR GOD'S WILL TO BE DONE...ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!

REST.....

On this crisp, lovely Sunday morning, the word is....REST!

So glad to have Cindy and Ari safely back from Massachusetts.

We spent yesterday with our horses.  I'm working with Stryker, my Morgan/Arabian.  

Reminded again of the wonderful rescue of Stryker from the dog-food plant in Mexico.

Cindy's beautiful Paint, Sparrow was also a "Rescue Horse".

As was Ari's lovely Arabian, Ti Gato (Little Cupcake).

We love our horses and spending time with them is a pure JOY!!

It's good for the soul!

So, on this beautiful Sunday we'll watch our Florida Pastor, Gary deliver the Word of God "virtually".

FALL....

Such a lovely time here.  Can't get over the ever-changing and spectacular colors that burst forth.  Never take God's beauty for granted.

Often while just a simple drive to or from "town" can be such an awe inspiring journey, if we open our eyes and see.

It's getting chilly up here in the mountains of East Tennessee, getting down to freezing tonight.

MIDNIGHT SCRIPTURE....

I love going to sleep listening to the Word of God .  Thanks to a great APP, "YouVersion", I can hear Scripture in my favorite translation (I'm old-fashioned and love the King James Version).

Throughout the evening, as I drift in and out of sleep, it's so comforting to let the Word of God into my spirit.

Of course, FAITH COMES BY HEARING & HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD!

Now, I assure you, I'm not trying to "sell" you YouVersion, it's just a GREAT TOOL to get the Word into your heart.

IN HIS HANDS....

There are times that the political turmoil in the U.S. just gets to me.  Not sure which way the Presidential Election will go.

But....this one thing I know, it is IN HIS HANDS!

So, my prayer is as  Jesus taught us to PRAY....."THY WILL BE DONE, ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN".

As I pray that way, HIS PEACE, WHICH PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING, keeps my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

That's how I deal with my anxiety during this turbulent time.

Not sure where you are on these matters, but I urge you to lean on HIM and trust HIM for the outcome.

There, that's my little sermonette for the day.  May you be blessed and overwhelmed by HIS PEACE!

A QUIET DAY AT THE CABIN

Up early and taking care of the dogs, the ducks and horses.  Very peaceful and a quiet joy floods my soul.

              GOD IS GOOD....ALL THE TIME!  HE IS GOOD!!

Spoke with Clyde Cain of the LA Cajun Navy this morning.  He is recovering well (along with his team) following his terrible auto accident.  We THANK GOD for that.

Cindy and Ari made it to Hershey PA yesterday and enjoyed the CHOCOLATE!  They'll be heading to Massachusetts today to spend a few days with her Mom.  So glad she can spend this time with her Mom. 

I want you to know just how much I appreciate your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

CINDY & ARI TO HERSHEY

Early this morning, Cindy and Ari hit the road for Hershey PA (they love Chocolate).  Then on to Massachusetts to see her Mom.

I'll be holding down the fort here at the Retreat Cabin.  Need to take care of the horses, ducks & dogs.

I love spending time with my horse, Stryker.  He is a true "Rescue" horse and has a wonderful disposition.  

Somehow, I feel he knows he's been "Rescued".

In researching the "CLEAN WATER" situation in Southwest Louisiana , Air Mobile Rescuers will not be needed at this time.  

However, we do have 5 units strategically positioned in Baton Rouge, ready for IMMEDIATE DEPLOYMENT IF NECESSARY.

Please PRAY that Cindy and Ari have a safe journey to see her Mom.  As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

STANDING BY....

As water subsides, closed-roads re-open and electricity is being restored, we at Air Mobile are seeing if there is a need for our portable water purification systems to be sent to Southwest Louisiana.

Emergency / Rescue vehicles and crews are standing by.  

Fortunately, many folks had already EVACUATED following Hurricane Laura.

We're assessing as to whether or not to deploy and at this point we're standing by.

After Hurricane Laura, Air Mobile left 5 Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers in Baton Rouge for future deployments.

If the need arises, we can RAPIDLY deploy those units where needed.

So, today, I'll hold my position here at the Retreat Cabin in Tennessee and take the day off to rest.

HURRICANE DELTA PUMMELS LOUISIANA!

Delta roared ashore as a CAT 2 Hurricane yesterday evening, ripping already heavily damaged southwest Louisiana!

We're receiving reports from the ground as I type.  Many had EVACUATED, which is very good news!  

However, that which Hurricane Laura left undamaged was hit hard by Delta.

The Folks in Louisiana are a resilient bunch and they will just keep on rebuilding their lives and homes and businesses.  I know this because, I'm from Louisiana and know the territory quite well.

At this point, our main concern is the clean water situation, or the lack thereof.  Air Mobile is READY to deploy if need be.

So, on this rainy morning in the mountains of East Tennessee, we wait and watch and assess the situation.

WE PRAY for all who have been affected by these Hurricanes and pray for those still in the path of now, Tropical Storm Delta.

Just captured a view of our valley this morning.  So THANKFUL for this wonderful base and retreat cabin!

DELTA CLOSING IN....ON LOUISIANA!

My heart breaks as I see Louisiana going through another major hurricane....the 6th this season!  

Hurricane Delta is projected to make landfall this evening with powerful winds (CAT 3!), a lot rain and a BIG STORM SURGE (7-11'!)!

Major Evacuations are taking place as I type.

Many are still "Evacuated" from Hurricane Laura.

We're in touch with folks on the ground and we're following this Hurricane very closely.

Meanwhile, Air Mobile is getting ready to mobilize.  We're building Rescuers at this time for what might lie ahead.  WE PRAY!!

We have units READY TO GO, we simply need to fund them to keep our supply chain going.

We're also getting Ti Burik (The Little Donkey) READY TO GO!

I'm holding my position in Tennessee until we see what Hurricane Delta does!  WE PRAY FOR DIRECTION!!

HERE COMES DELTA!

Hurricane Delta is ravaging Cancun with Cat 3 Force!  Thousands of tourist are trapped and hunkered down.  We PRAY for all in the path of this DEADLY STORM!

Once back in the "bathtub" warm Gulf, Delta is expected to reach CAT 4 strength bringing more death & destruction.  

Current projections place Delta on a similar course as Hurricane Laura!

Lake Charles and south Louisiana are back in the "Bulls Eye" for Hurricane Delta.  

Tens of thousands are homeless from Laura and now....Hurricane Delta!

Air Mobile is getting ready to deploy!

We'll likely be working with the LA Cajun Navy on this project.

BTW, Clyde Cain (the Admiral) and several team members  were in a catastrophic auto accident and were miraculously spared.  All are recovering at his time.  

PLEASE REMEMBER TO PRAY FOR CLYDE & HIS TEAM FOR A FULL RECOVERY!!

Meanwhile, here at the Retreat Cabin, we're working hard to get ready to deploy.

Again, Hurricane Delta is barreling toward the Louisiana Coast and many are in harms way.  It's time for all in the low lying areas to get READY TO EVAUCATE!!

HURRICANE DELTA....HEADED FOR LOUISIANA!

We're watching Hurricane Delta rapidly gain strength and will hit Cuba / Mexico and then in the Gulf headed for Louisiana.  

This is becoming a DEADLY STORM as I type!

We PRAY for all in the path of this powerful storm!!

We're preparing Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers if they are needed.  Please consider helping us fund these units in preparation for Delta!

Keeping a very close eye on the Tropics.  Looks like there are 2 potential storms brewing in the Caribbean and both headed toward the warm, Gulf of Mexico.

Today, Cindy and I are headed into town to change our Drivers Licenses so that we can vote here in Tennessee.

We continue to PRAY for President Trump and First Lady Melania as they recover from COVID-19.  We PRAY for all that are in the path of this dreaded pandemic!

PRAY....WITHOUT CEASING

Don't worry, we're likely not going to PRAY TOO MUCH!  

I don't know about you, but when I begin to PRAY, I often get off-track and think about a thousand other things.

Oh, I realize that we're all bombarded with thousands of distractions, but NOW is the TIME TO PRAY for our nation and our leaders!

In this crucial hour in America, the admonition is simple and clear....PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!

Again, I don't know what the future holds, but I do know WHO holds the future.  I urge you to press in closely to JESUS! 

May HE guide us each step of the way through these turbulent waters.

MAY AMERICA RETURN TO JESUS!!

So, on this beautiful Sunday morning, we PRAY!

IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS & UNCERTAINTY IS PROVERBS 3!

This morning, while pondering the current situation here in the U.S. with President Trump & First Lady stricken with COVID-19, I turned to the Book of Proverbs.

TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART.....

As you may know, I often read the Proverb to match the day of the month (as there are 31 Proverbs).

What a joy to find Proverbs 3 today!

This one Proverbs is just jam-packed with WISDOM & HOPE & GRACE & GUIDANCE.

May I encourage you to take a few minutes and open up the Treasure Cove, Proverbs 3, and read it slowly.  It will BLESS your soul!!

COVID-19 ROCKS WHITE HOUSE - PRAY FOR PRESIDENT & FIRST LADY TRUMP!

Awoke to the news that President Trump & First Lady, have tested Positive for COVID-19.  

PLEASE PRAY for their full and complete recovery.

The Bible tells us to PRAY ONE FOR ANOTHER!  

Also, we are admonished to PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS!!

MEANWHILE....BACK AT THE CABIN....

We are getting some "HAPPY DUCKS"!  Last night, our four "water fowl" (ducks) spent their first night out doors.  

It's a bit chilly (44 degrees), but the heat lamp kept them snug in the hay.  

Also spent some time preparing our Victory Garden for next planting.  It's a perfect time to let that soil get stronger.  

We just "chop & drop".  Using a weed-eater and a lawn mower, we're turning everything back into the soil.

So, time to go finish "choppin & droppin".
