THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES.....DECEMBER 2021

LATE BLOG.....

Cindy and I got up early this morning.  Had a cup of coffee and lit a fire.  There's some wicked cold weather coming with a lot snow.

After that cup of "Joe", went upstairs to just laid down for a few minutes and...slept hard for 3 hours.  Must have really been tired.

Cindy and I both went through COVID and our bodies are fighting hard to regain our strength.

Meanwhile, Barbara Walker (Rambo in the Blue Dress) and Dave Walen met at Barb's home near Albany NY.

Barb arranged for wonderful donation of aircraft oil and other lubricants as well as nearly 100 gallons of De-Icer for aircraft.

Dave will be driving that load of lubricants right here to our Hangar in Tennessee this afternoon.

Yahn Gray and I will meet Dave to unload this wonderful donation.

PRAISE GOD for this gift.  May very well get us out of an icy & slippery situation.

As I said earlier, we're expecting heavy snowfall and icy conditions.

We hope to get Dave unloaded and heading south (where it's warmer) ASAP!

Glad I was able to sneak in those 3 extra hours of sleep this morning.

As always, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

REST.....& SOME VERY SAD NEWS

Finally, back at the "Retreat Cabin" and looking forward to a day of "Rest".

Will also be laying up a good supply of firewood.  We're expecting a very, very cold weekend.  Our old wood stove will keep the "Retreat Cabin" toasty warm.

Not sure when the "Next Mission" will launch, but....we have the pieces in place when it does.

For today....will simply rest and recoup from a busy week.

Oh, we had some VERY SAD news yesterday.  Our Primary Care Physician, Dr. John Short, passed away yesterday.

Dr. Short was a  GREAT DOCTOR and precious Brother in Christ.  He will be sorely missed!!

Please PRAY for his family, as they deal with this terrible loss, along with  our little town of Sneedville, where Dr. Short was the classic and wonderful "Country Doctor.

OBITUARY, DR. JOHN SHORT -

So, on this sad day, I rest and pray.

71 YEARS AGO TODAY....

A little Cajun Momma named Evelyn gave birth to a baby boy in Baton Rouge, LA.  His name was Joe.  He's the one typing this "Rambling Blog".

Well, I hit the road in South Carolina yesterday morning.  My destination:  Bristol TN where Cindy, Ari, Peter & Ron were waiting for me.

I rolled up to our Bristol AirBnB right on time and we celebrated a day early.  It's good to be with my family again.

Today, we'll be heading to the "Retreat Cabin" where we'll be settling Cindy's Dad, Ron, into his new home here in the Mountains of East TN.  So glad that Ron is with us.

So, it's time to bundle up on this chilly morning and head home.

As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

A "REST STOP" ALONG THE WAY & A COMPUTER GLITCH....SOLVED

After picking up used tennis balls from Tommy and Mason / Ball Jars from Joyce, I passed by the airport one more time to check on the "Little Donkey".

All is well and the sweet bird is "Ready to Go".....when the call comes.

I hit the road and after about 7 hours of driving... ran out of energy  in Orangburg, SC.  That episode with Covid and that wicked spider bite have drained me.  Found a comfortable hotel and settled in for the evening.

When I pulled out my laptop out and set it up, to my great dismay....the keyboard died.  I couldn't write the blog.

Now folks, I've written a Blog every single day for over 11 years....and not missed a day!

I sat in this room determined to not let this day be the first day I've missed writing the Blog in all these years.

Got on the phone with my son, Christian and Yahn.  After diagnosing as far as we could, the final verdict was....go find a Walmart and buy  a stand-alone keyboard.

I rushed to the closest Walmart, which was about to close and bought a wireless keyboard for $19.00.

Came back to the room, plugged it in and....

IT WORKED!!

I'm typing on that $19 keyboard right now.  PRAISE GOD!!

  Another day & another Blog.

You know, never cease to marvel at our Lord's grace and wisdom to keep this "Old Rambling Blog" going after all these years.  THANK YOU JESUS!!

Well, it's time to wrap it up and hit road for the final 5 hour drive home.  So looking forward to seeing my Cindy and Ari.

And...as I say every single day, and truly mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

ANOTHER RESCUER DEPLOYED....

As a result of speaking to the Rockledge Presbyterian Men's Breakfast on Saturday, Air Mobile was able to place another Air Mobile Rescuer destined for Haiti.  PRAISE GOD!!

It was a pleasure meeing with RP Higgins who will be directing that unit to a surgical hospital in Haiti!

After that meeting with RP, I headed to Dr. Lance Maki's Medical Office for my Flight Physical.

I am very pleased to say that I PASSED!  My Medical license is now current through 1-31-2024!

THANK YOU Dr. Maki for an excellent physical examination!

Well, it's time to pack up and hit the road.

I'll be stopping by Tommy Blair's home to pick up a bunch of used Tennis Balls.  The kids in Haiti love these used balls!

Then, I'll stop by Sister Joyce's to pick up a buch of Mason / Ball Jars for Cindy's canning.

Then...on the road for the 11-12 hour drive to Tennessee.  Have sure missed my Cindy and Ari.

Please PRAY I have a safe journey home.  Will likely be leaving the sunshine in Florida for some Tennessee Snow.

And....as I say every single day, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

PS - Early yesterday day, Dr. Steve Badolato took a biopsy of my arm where the poisonous spider bit me twice nearly 7 months ago.

We're determined to get to the bottom of this and biopsy will give us more information.  THANK YOU for your PRAYER for COMPLETE HEALING!!

SEEING AN OLD FRIEND.....

Peter, our son and Ron, Cindy's Dad, are on the road to Tennessee.

After loading up our little red trailer, I headed to the Titusville Airport to check on an old friend...."Ti Burik",
The Little Donkey.

Sure have misssed that sweet little bird.  Paul, our mechanic has it in great shape and "ready to go"....on the Next Mission.

This morning, I'll be in several Doctor's appointments.  Dr. Steve will be taking a biopsy of that "wicked" spider bite from 6 months ago.

It just won't heal up.  We're believing God for great WISDOM and HEALING!!

THANK GOD for great friends & doctors!!

And THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

BREAKFAST WITH ROCKLEDGE PRESBYTERIAN....

Thoroughly enjoyed my time with the Rockledge Presbyterian Men's Breakfast yesterday.

We have collaborated with this group to keep CLEAN WATER flowing in an orphanage in Honduras for over 10 years.

So good meeting with my dear friends.  When I opened up for questions, was amazed at the depth and understanding in this group.

We're looking forward to placing more Air Mobile Rescuers where desperately needed.  It was a wonderful time together.

After speaking to the Rockledge Men's Breakfast I headed to see Dr. Steve Badolato.

After he examined my arm, where I was bitten by the poisonous spided 6 months ago, he determined to take a biopsy and see why it is not healing up after all this time.

I'm so THANKFUL to have such a great Doctor.  THANKS AGAIN, DR. STEVE!!

Today, Peter and I will be meeting to help pack up Ron, Cindy's Dad and move him up to Tennessee.  We love Ron and are excited to have him with us.

And...as I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

CALLING "WATER MULES"

Yesterday evening, I had the wonderful priviledge to present the Air Mobile Rescuer to a great church, Christ Luteran Church in Cape Canaveral FL.

These folks, led by Richard Shoar (AKA: Ship to Shoar) wanted to know more about the Air Mobile Rescuer.

It was indeed, a great opportunity and the "Rescuer" is easy to present & the Church "got it"!

This Church will be raising the funds for several Rescuers to be deployed where more needed.  PRAISE GOD!!

Earlier yesterday, Cherie & Christian and 5 of my 10 grandkids had a delightful lunch.  What a JOY!!

I'm up early getting ready to speak to Men's Breakfast at Rockledge Presbyterian church.

These folks funded their first Rescuer for an orphanage in Honduras nearly 10 years ago and...it's still delivering CLEAN WATER!

Since then, they have funded another Rescuer and may even be funding more.

Well, it's time to head out and go have breakfast with the men of Rockledge Presbyterian.

In between "Speaking", I rush back to the Badolato's Condo on the Ocean at Satellite Beach.  What a nice place to "re-group"!

As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

Our great friends, Dr. Steve & Millie Badolato, offered their Condo on Satellite Beach, FL.  What a great PERK!!

After the 12 hour drive in the Ford Escape, from the "Retreat Cabin" in TN, arrived at this lovely spot around midnite.

And of course, Dr. Steve has been our "Florida Doctor" for many years and all I can say is....THANKS for being our great friend in Christ and what a gifted Doctor!!

Today, I'll be having lunch with my daughter, Cherie and son, Christian and my grandchildren.

Then, this evening, I'll speaking at Christ Lutheran Church in Cape Canaveral.  Looking forward to that!

Well, it's time to....chill out and watch the waves roll in on Satellite Beach.

Up early, packing my bags and heading down to Florida....just ahead of a snow storm.

Will be driving our trusty Ford Escape and towing the little red trailer.

Will be speaking in several Churches down in Florida.

And then will be bringing Cindy's Dad, Ron, back to the Mountains of East TN where he'll be living with us.

It was Ron who originally put Cindy and I together.  For that, I'm eternally grateful.

BTW, it's a wonderful story and one of our Lord's Divine Providence. We love Ron and look forward to our days ahead.

Well, it's time pack up and hit the road.  As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

A WARM FIRE ON A COLD WINTRY DAY....

There's always chores to be done and things that one feels are so important to do.  But....there are times to just light a fire and watch it burn.

Cindy and I are still a bit weak, but having no symptoms of COVID and slowly getting our strength back....for the days ahead.

We'll just take it easy and enjoy the fire on this chilly day and...it's going to get colder and more snow tomorrow.  We've got plenty of firewood.

BRRRR.....

A little more snow and a lot of ice this morning.  I need to run over to Knoxville today to tend to some aviation business.

Need to beware of the "black ice"....can be a slippery situation.  It's a brisk 21 degrees.

Meanwhile, OMI-CRON cases are soaring and....this may have a silver lining.

Here's more - OMI-CRON CASES HITTING NEW HIGH, BUT NEW DATA PUTS THE END IN SIGHT

In preparation for what might lie ahead, we're ordering components to make more Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers.

We're also getting the Little Donkey ready for flights ahead.  NOW is the time to PREPARE!!

It's so good to be re-gaining our strength.  Cindy and I are both feeling better and we're so THANKFUL for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

SNOWY MORN.....

We awoke this morning to a glorious and beautiful "Snowy" morning.

We had a 40 degree temperature drop and frontal passage that resulted in this lovely snowfall.

The "Old Wood Stove" has our "Retreat Cabin" snug and toasty warm.

You know, it just feels good to feel good.  Cindy and I went through a pretty rough round of COVID and now we're feeling so much better.

Can't begin to tell you how much we appreciate your precious prayer, love and support!!  THANK YOU!!!

A NEW DAY....

Well, on this 2nd day of 2022, we go forth THANKFUL for healing and returning strength.

For the first time in weeks, Cindy, Ari and I will be attending our local church.

We're so THANKFUL for the prayer support, as well as soup, and meals and shopping and love.

THANK YOU, Little Mulberry Baptist Church and especially Pastor John for all that love and support!!

We dodged a lot of bad weather last night.  We've had a lot of rain and wind.  No damage.

We pray for those who have been impacted by this line of storms.

Tonight, the temperature will drop significantly and we'll likely get some snow.

So, time to get ready for Church and as I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

We THANK GOD for HIS PROTECTION and we PRAY for all in the path of these storms!!

As we usher in 2022, we PRAY for a better year and the end of the "Pandemic"!

Cindy and I are very THANKFUL to be over COVID and we're especially THANKFUL for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

NEW YEARS EVE....

We're about to close out 2021....what a year!  Who would have thought that we'd still be in the middle of the "Pandemic"?

BTW, I was up early this morning and started writing the blog at 5:52am when...I felt tired and just went back to sleep.  Just got up at 8:45am.

Cindy and I are still quite weak, but definitely on the "Road to Recovery".  It's good to just lay back down and sleep a few hours.

However, I have a feeling that there's a new mission out there and it's beginning to call.  We'll see where it leads.  For now...our Doctors have ordered....plenty of rest.

In just a few more hours, 2021 will be in the History Books and 2022 will be here.

You know, from the world's standpoint, things look about the same with OMICRON sweeping the world and folks lining up for tests and so many "mixed messages" about what to do.

So, here we are, in our Lord's Hands and waiting for our "next mission".....wherever that might be.

As always, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

POST QUARANTINE REST.....BRACING FOR STORMS!

We're fever free (for 4 days & counting) and feeling weak but on the good road of recovery.  PRAISE GOD!!

We're finding that REST is our BEST COURSE for now.

Here at the "Retreat Cabin", we're battening down the hatches for a series of violent thunderstorms with the possibility of tornadoes right through the New Year's weekend.

We PRAY for PROTECTION!!

Folks, you have walked closely with us through sadness (the loss of Cindy's Mom) and a full blown COVID battle.

GOD BLESS YOU & THANK you, for your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

RAINY DAY & NO FEVER!

There is something so restful & tranquil as lying in bed with a gentle rain on a tin (metal) roof.

We're so THANKFUL for a normal temperature.  We're still quite weak but slowly regaining our strength.

In reviewing the last few weeks, it appears as if both Cindy and I had COVID-19 - DELTA VARIENT.  We experienced a lot of pain and the constant fever.

We believe that when we asked for your prayers, you certainly delivered.  At a most critical time, our fever simply BROKE.

PRAYER IS POWERFUL and we're so THANKFUL to have you on-board this rambling, daily blog with us!!

We're also THANKFUL for our "Retreat Cabin".  What a wonderful place to ride out our QUARANTINE, which is over...PRAISE GOD!!

All throughout our COVID experience, our Ariana remained free from the sickness and she was such an AWESOME BLESSING to Cindy and me.  THANK YOU ARI!!!

So, today, we're just taking it easy and not over-doing it.  There are always chores and things to do, but....we don't have do them all.

It feels good to just go up and take a nap or have a game of Rummy with my Cindy and simply enjoy feeling good.

We'll look back on 2021 as a very challenging year with a lot story lines telling us a lot of different versions of what's going on.

May the TRUTH come out about COVID and may we all learn to better handle PANDEMICS as they will surely come.

Above all, we're pressing in closer and closer to JESUS, who will never leave us nor forsake us!!

THANK YOU again, for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

BETTER.....

Indeed, the fever that has hounded Cindy and me for nearly 2 weeks, has subsided.  We are THANKFUL and on the road to recovery.

We are, however, continuing to "take it easy" and rest during this time. We don't want to "go back" to COVID!

We feel our strength gradually returning and we just don't want to "over do it".

We are THANKFUL to our medical team, our church and neighbors. They have all shown us such love and care and wisdom!

Yes, I'm reminded of an old saying given to me many years ago, by my first Pastor, Roy Stockstill...."Son, don't forget, God knows how to deploy His troops".  No truer words.

So, on this balmy (60+ degrees) winter day, here in the mountains of East TN, I hear our ducks calling.

Time to let them out of their cage into their little paradise duck yard.

BTW, we had a pack of coyotes come through our property, probing for a weakness in our perimeter.  They found none and moved on.

Love it up here and rejoicing in feeling better.

Again, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

First of all, THANK YOU for your PRAYERS!

This morning, for the first time in nearly 2 weeks, our fevers are approaching normal.

We are PRAYING that the fever will remain low and become & stay normal.

Our medical team has done a wonderful job of staying in touch and giving us good counsel and good meds, which include Mono-Clonal antibodies, Ivermectin and other medications.

And throughout all of this, Ariana has not become infected and has been an absolutely AMAZING help to Cindy and me.  THANK YOU ARI!!

Well, today, we'll continue to rest and recover and receive our Lord's HEALING!!

Folks, this has been a long road of healing and we are confident in our Lord's hand and good medication.  GOD IS GOOD!!!

As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

ADDED PRAYER REQUEST!

We are now in Day 13 since first contracting Covid-19 (not sure if it's Delta or Omi-cron).

Both Cindy and I are still running a fever and this puts us into more dangerous territory.

Specifcially, for what is called a Cyto-kine Storm.  This event can cause serious complications (organ failure etc.).

Here's more - CYTOKINE STORM - WIKIPEDIA

PLEASE PRAY that our fevers BREAK and recovery resumes.

We are  NOT FEARFUL of this, but AWARE of the POSSIBLE COMPLICATIONS

Cindy is still quite weak and her fever is a bit higher than mine.

Again, we can't THANK YOU ENOUGH for your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

DAY 7 QUARANTINE - THANK YOU ARI!!

Cindy and I are so THANKFUL for our Ariana!  She has been an awesome BLESSING to us as we go through another day of Quarantine and recovery.

Our Lord has protected Ari and kept COVID away from her, PRAISE GOD!!

We basically stay upstairs in our "Retreat Cabin".  Ari leaves our food on the stairs.

She's doing the chores and taking care of our critters.  However, I do the ducks and enjoy that little chore immensely.  It's good to get out and breath the fresh air.

Cindy and I are slowly getting better.  Our medical team has done a great job of getting us the treatment we need.

Meanwhile, thanks to good internet, we're able to stay in touch with the world.

Just received an inquiry of possibly putting some Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers into the Philippines following the terrible Cyclone.

We're working on that....from the Quarantine Retreat Cabin.  PRAISE GOD!!

Well, we notch up another day in Quarantine and receive our Lord's HEALING power.

Both Cindy and I are slowly recovering and still in Quarantine.  We are both quite weak, but on the road to recovery.

Both Cindy and I are both slowly getting better.  Though Cindy's symptoms are a bit stronger than mine.

I can't say we're out of the woods, but overall, we're headed in the right direction!!  PRAISE GOD!!

Can't say enough about our Medical Team, especially Dr. Steve Badolato, our "Florida Doctor".

And, above all, your PRAYERS are certainly key and critical to our healing and recovery.  GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!

In the middle of all of this, our dryer quit working.  I called our good friend, Mark Scarbrough and asked if he could help.

It just so happens that he recently bought a nearly new dryer and would be glad to loan us his while ours is being repaired.  THANK YOU, MARK!!

Our local church is providing us with food and any kind of support we need.

Yes, we are surrounded by the LOVE OF GOD through His people...a lovely picture of the "Body of Christ"!

DAY 3 QUARANTINE....GETTING BETTER

THANK THE LORD, both Cindy and I are definitely getting better.

From the time we took the Mono-Clonal Antibody infusion on Friday evening, the harsh, painful symptoms of COVID-19 are subsiding.  We both had a good nights sleep.

Cindy, being a nurse (an excellent one I might add), is highly skilled and knowledgeable about proper Sanitation protocol.

Our "Retreat Cabin" is an excellent place to "ride out" Covid-19.

I can't say enough about our PRAYER SUPPORT from you, who ramble down this road of life with us.

Also, our Pastor, John, made a pot of Chicken soup (his first attempt, and it was delicious).  He also went shopping for us and would not accept any money.

And Cathy, who cared for our critters (horses, donkeys, dogs & ducks) while we were in Massachussets for Cindy's Mom's funeral, was able to pick up critical medication for us just as the pharmacies were closing.  Perfect timing.

I just can't say enough about Ariana.  What an AMAZING daughter!!

We're following strict sanitaiton protocol to protect her and others.  And, she's being such a BLESSING by caring for us with a wonderful attitude.  Love you, Ari!!

Folks, we are surrounded by love and care and we're just so THANKFUL!!

One other thing I'd like to mention is that from time to time, I just get overwhelmed with the love of God and just cry.  It's not a bad thing.  It just feels good to let go and cry.

Meanwhile, the ministry of bringing clean water and the love of God to others who are suffering, goes on.

With Yahn Gray, our "Chief Water Mule's" direction, we are building up our inventory of Air Mobile Rescuers so that we are ready when the call comes.

QUARANTINE!

We've set up the "Retreat Cabin" as our as our "Quarantine Retreat Cabin".

For the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak in early 2020, I personally have COVID-19.

The remarkable thing about this is that I have had the priviledge to minister in multiple countries (with major COVID OUTBREAKS) bringing CLEAN WATER to thirsty people and NOT once contracted COVID-19 until now.

Folks, that is somewhat of a MIRACLE!

On Tuesday morning 12-14-21, Cindy began showing symptoms of COVID-19.

By Tuesday night, we both were demonstrating the symptoms of OMI-CROM, the latest strain of COVID-19.

Our goal was to get back to the "Retreat Cabin" ASAP and go into QUARANTINE.

Upon reaching the "Cabin" (16 hour drive), we tested Positive for COVID-19.  Ariana tested Negative, for which we are THANKFUL.  We are doing all we can to protect Ariana from this dreadful disease.

We contacted our Primary Care Physician  and requested an immediate  MONO-CLONAL Anti-Body injection.

We are also in close contact with our "Florida Doctor" Dr. Steve Badolato.  We have a great medical team!!

PRAISE GOD for good medical care. We NEVER take it for granted!

Now, Cindy and I had both been experiencing VERY PAINFUL symptoms (extreme joint pain, high fever, wicked coughing, etc,  since Tuesday.

Literally, within hours of receiving the MONO-CLONAL  Anti-Body injection, we began to experience some relief from the pain.

Last night, we both slept good and feeling a bit better this morning.

We've contacted our local church, Little Mulberry Baptist Church, and Pastor John is bringing over Chicken soup this morning and will be filling a shopping list for us.  THANK GOD for the Body of Christ!

Well, we're beginning Day 2 of our Quarantine.

We're BELIEVING GOD for COMPLETE HEALING!!!

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

REST OF KIDNAPPED MISSIONARIES IN HAITI RELEASED!!!

While enroute yesterday from MA to TN, received the news of the RELEASE of the remaining 12 Missionaries in Haiti.

We cried at this good news!!!  Still crying today as I report on this AMAZING MIRACLE!!

Very few details have been given, but the missionaries appear rather thin, but overall OK.

All I can say is PRAISE GOD!!!

Here's more - FREE AT LAST!!!

Both Cindy and I had a rough night.  After completing the 900 mile journey, we arrived at the "Retreat Cabin" in a lot of pain.

We both tested Positive and it appears that we have the OMI-CRON strain. We're very THANKFUL that Ariana tested Negative.

Folks,  Omi-Cron spreads very rapidly and is quite painful.  Fever, aching joints, wicked cough, etc.

We'll just rest today and keep a close eye on the symptoms and PRAY!!

As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart....THANK YOU for you precious prayer, love and support!!!

DODGING TORNADOES & OMICRON

First of all, PLEASE PRAY for Cindy.  She has symptoms of OMICROM.

We're looking to get home ASAP to treat the symptoms.  Above all...WE ARE PRAYING for HEALING!!

Yesterday, we paid a surprise visit to Barbara Walker (AKA - "Rambo in the Blue Dress").

Her home in NY was right on our way...with only a tiny detour.

Barb, as you may know, has been responsible for over 3000 Adoptions, including our Ariana.  GOD BLESS YOU BARB!

Meanwhile, just north of our route, another severe line of storms and tornadoes were raging eastward.

TORNADOES, WINDS UP TO 100 MPH RIP OFF ROOFS IN MIDWEST

We made it to Lebanon, PA last night and found a comfortable place to stay.

This morning, we'll be on the road for the final leg to the "Retreat Cabin"

PLEASE REMEMBER TO PRAY FOR CINDY.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

FAITH, FAMILY & FRIENDS

Coming to Massachussets, affords the opportunity to visit with family & friends.

Our love for one another is built on our faith in Jesus.

Last night, we had dinner with our daughter, Juliet.  So good seeing her!

Today, we'll be with our dear friends, Dennis and Barbara West.

This couple has been such a blessing over the years helping us  to bring CLEAN WATER & JESUS to the thirsty and the lost.

Later today, we'll be meeting with Pastor Ernie White.  Ernie introduced my Cindy to Jesus nearly 50 years ago.  THANK YOU ERNIE!!

BTW, Pastor Ernie and I will be conducting the funeral service on Tuesday, December 14th at Mulhane Funeral home in Milbury, MA.

The viewing will be from 9:00 - 11:00 and the service  will be at 11:00.

Cindy and her sister Sue and neice, Jennifer, are putting together a lovely collage of photos of Helen and family.

Sweet memories of one so dear.

Here, Cindy, 5 years old with her Mom, Helen.

Time to bundle up in layers and brave the cold here in chilly Massachussets & go visit some dear friends.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

There's something magical and pure about the "new driven snow".

We arrived in Worcester yesterday.  Had a good journey the whole way.  THANK YOU for your PRAYERS!

We've met with the Funeral Director and the service for Helen will be next Tuesday, December 14th, in Milbury, MA.

We've been going through old photos and remembering this precious lady.

I'm eternally grateful to Helen for bringing Cindy into this world.

Here, Cindy is around 5 years old with her Mom.

This is a sad time....but a sweet time knowing that our dear Helen is with our Lord Jesus.

A CLEAR ROAD & EXPENSIVE GAS!

Cindy, Ari and I drove 729 miles yesterday enroute to Massachussets.  Gas got higher and higher.

A fill up costs us over $50!!

However, the road was clear with no delays.

We stopped to rest in Poukeepsie, NY, a very pretty city, on the Hudson River.

We'll continue our journey today and hope to arrive in Millbury, MA this afternoon.

We THANK GOD for traveling mercy thus far and trust Him to bring us safely to Cindy's family.

PLEASE remember Cindy and her family as we mourn the loss of Helen, Cindy's Mom.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!

WHOA.....

Folks, I AM NOT taking Ivermectin for Covid-19!

I'm taking it for a couple of wicked spider bites and it's working great!!

I'm just THANKFUL to have finally gotten a good and proper diagnosis (parasitic infection) on the spider bites.  THANK YOU Dr. Steve for nailing it.

There.... "That's all I have to say about that".... (a quote from Forrest Gump).

So, in the meantime, Cindy and I are looking for a used, but functional, camper to give to a couple who need a place to stay.

The temperature is dropping into the 20's tonight.  If you know who may have one (in the East TN area) and wants to donate it, please let me know.  You may call me at:  1-321-544-7757.  And...it is Tax Deductible.

Well, certainly didn't mean to stir up a hornets nest (on Ivermectin).  We have plenty of work to do and a lot of folks who need help.  No time to "squabble".

And....THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

PS - Farewell Senator Dole.  You are a true American Hero and we're so THANKFUL for your service and sacrifice.

FINALLY.....SOME RELIEF!!

You may recall, 6 months ago, I got bitten twice by a large spider in Haiti.

After going to multiple doctors to find relief, my good friend and great doctor, Steve Badolato 'nailed' the diagnosis.

My answer is IVERMECTIN and treatment has begun and relief is already coming.

THANK YOU DR. STEVE!!

BTW, IVERMECTIN is also a remarkable treatment for Covid-19 & BEYOND.

I don't understand why folks criticise a treatment that is so effective.  Perhaps we'll never know.

In the meantime, I'm rejoicing in this wonderful development.

That old spider bite (the spider actually bit me twice!!) put me through "hell" for the last 6 months.

PRAISE GOD FOR RELIEF!!!

As always, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

THEY DIDN'T MINCE WORDS....

Was just in downtown Sneedville yesterday and passed the Court House and saw this....

Love the fact that the City leaders plainly proclaimed, that indeed....CHRIST IS BORN!!

Suffice it to say, we love it up here in the Mountains of East TN.  Many are not afraid to proclaim their faith in God!!

We're expecting our good friends, Dan and Charlene Andrews later today.  They'll be spending the week with us.

You may recall that Dan & Charlene provided me with a very comfortable & adequate base of operation following the Louisiana Hurricane.

Now, Cindy and I can return the hospitality that they so graciously provided for me.

And, as I say every single day and mean with all of my heart....THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

LIVE LIFE.....

Oh, the headlines blair about 'OMICROM' and frankly, I don't know what to think.

So many "mandates" and conflicting and confusing statements coming from so many directions.

As for me and my house, we're going to serve the Lord and do what we can to help as many folks as we can.

We're going to LIVE LIFE & TRUST GOD each step of the way.

There, that's my thoughts for the day.

We're looking for another old, used, but "liveable" travel trailer for a family whom our Lord has brought across our path.

If you know of anyone in the Knoxville to Sneedville area, please give me a call at 1-321-544-7757.

Now, you who ramble down this road of life with me....THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

MORE TESTS.....& A WARM PLACE TO STAY

As is usually the case...."one thing leads to another".  After meeting with my Doctor, we've had more tests done to investigate some "suspicious" areas.

Again, we're standing firm for complete healing and the more evidence we find, will simply verify the miracle of healing.

In the meantime, we're busy serving the Lord.  We're ready for...."The Next Mission".

Several days ago, I wrote about a homeless family that needed a "warm" place to stay.

By multiple acts of kindness, our friends Paul and Cathy donated a trailer to them.

Well....we've found another family in similar need and we're believing God for another trailer that can provide a warm, safe place for this family in need.

PLEASE PRAY with us that our Lord provide for this need.  If you have, or know of someone who has an old trailer for a needy family and you're in the Mountains of East TN, please give me a call at:  1-321-544-7757.

BTW, the gift is tax-deductible from Air Mobile Ministries.

I PRAISE GOD for the strength HE has given me during this time.

Meanwhile, Cindy and I are blessed to have Dr. Sam Winn and his wife Sheila as our guests here at the "Retreat Cabin", for the next few days.

Sam has been my eye doctor for 35+ years.  He has helped me to "see clearly" for all these years.  THANKS SAM!!

Folks, can't begin to tell  you how much I appreciate your precious prayer, love and support!!!

IN HIS HANDS....

Cindy and I are heading to Knoxville today to meet with my medical team to discuss the latest cancer test results.

We are TRUSTING GOD each step of the way.

Meanwhile, last night, was able to send operating / maintenance instructions to a large girls school in Haiti to get CLEAN WATER flowing there again.

Also, finalized the shipping for 3 Air Mobile Rescuers to be sent to Operation Blessing (OB).  We love working with OB

I'm so THANKFUL that neither OMICROM / COVID 19 or KIDNAPPERS can STOP the CLEAN WATER FROM FLOWING!!

So, on this beautiful day in the mountains of East TN, we go forth in His Name and In His Hands!!

And...THANK YOU for your invaluable and truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!
