BON VOYAGE CINDY, PETER & ARI & SPEAKING TO THE O.W.L.S.

Was up early this morning getting Cindy, Peter & Ari to the airport for a flight to Massachusetts.

Cindy's family is from there and it's time for a visit. We'll also be seeing our daughter Juliet and her husband, Shaun.

I'll be joining them on Friday and looking forward to it.

This morning, I'll be speaking to one of my favorite groups, the O.W.L.S. (Older Wiser Loving Saints).  I love these folks!!!

They know how to PRAY and we're so thankful for their love and support!!!

And, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

A BIT LATER....

Had a productive meeting yesterday at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) regarding the placement of the Air Mobile Rescuer on-board the International Space Station.

Our Wednesday meeting with the Center Director, Bob Cabana, has been postponed  as we gather more information.  Our quest goes on!

Before leaving the Kennedy Space Center, I took a ride out to the ocean and shot this little video with near the Launch Pad 39A.

Just after that meeting at KSC, a tornado tore through Space Coast Regional Airport (our home field) and damaged a number of aircraft, including several Cessna 337's.

And a dear friend, Malcolm, who is a Missionary to India, lost his Cherokee in that tornado.  Sorry for your loss, Malcolm.

That "sudden" tornado is a grim reminder as to how rapidly things can change, especially related to weather.  It's a good lesson on being prepared.

That is why we're gearing up for this "Hurricane Season" that has already begun.  May we be guided by our Lord this day.

Today, I'll be back on the "Books" studying for the Fundamentals of Instruction (FOI) written Exam.  My quest for the CFI-I MEI (Certified Flight Instructor / Instrument / Multi-Engine) goes on.

So, as I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

WILL IT FLY???

Today, I'll be meeting with the NASA Engineers who first recognized that the Air Mobile Rescuer just may be a great benefit on-board the International Space Station (ISS)....and beyond!

Keeping CLEAN WATER flowing to our Astronauts is extremely important!!

We're preparing for our meeting with the NASA Center Director, Astronaut Bob Cabana on Wednesday.  Needless to say, we're very excited about these possibilities!!

Our goal is to continue the testing (that has been quite successful thus far) on the remarkable Rescuer.

We need to see just how the unit will respond to "Zero G" atmosphere.  We're hoping our  meeting with Mr. Cabana will allow us to go the next level of testing.

The wonderful thing is, after the tests that have already been conducted, the Engineers want MORE testing.  I say...."Test Baby Test"!!

Did you see the Volcano that blew in Guatemala? The death toll is rising.  We're keeping a very close eye on this unfolding tragedy.

Here's more - GUATEMALA'S FUEGO VOLCANO KILLS 25 HUNDREDS INJURED

Meanwhile, we're gearing up for Hurricane Season and whatever other catastrophe's may be coming.  CLEAN WATER is always at the top of the CRITICAL NEEDS LIST!

It's going to be a busy week.  Time to head out.  THANK YOU, as always for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

& HE SHALL DIRECT YOUR PATH....

Proverbs 3 is one of my all time favorite chapters in the Bible.

Trust in Lord with all your heart, acknowledge Him in all your ways, lean not unto your own understanding and....HE SHALL DIRECT YOUR PATH!

Oh Folks, I need HIS direction in my life everyday and our Lord promises to help us to find the way every day.  May I lean on Him more and more!

We had a very pleasant visit yesterday from from Victor and his wife, Lorna.  They live in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico right next to the airport.

Our Lord brought Victor and Lorna into our lives when we needed help navigating through the destruction of Hurricane Maria.

Surely, our Lord directed our paths to cross and together, we were able to bring vital help to the suffering.  God is good!!

So often in our lives, when we face overwhelming situations, as we did when we landed in Puerto Rico immediately after Hurricane Maria ravaged that Island, we needed HIS DIRECTION!  That is the time "Lean on HIM".  And...He sent us Victor and Lorna.

And....with the 2018 Hurricane Season ahead, it's good to know that we have friends in Puerto Rico, a great fueling stop and staging platform for future relief work.

May I encourage you to read this wonderful Proverb.  It only takes about 5 minutes to read and you'll be glad you did.

Here is a link to Proverbs 3 in the English Standard Version (one of my favorite translations).  PROVERBS 3 ESV

Today, we're going to our home Church and then to the Hospital to bring the Good News of Jesus.  What a joy and privilege to do so.  And....THANK YOU for your prayer, love and support!!!

BACK TO THE "BOOKS"....

It's time to resume my study towards getting my CFII/MEI (Certified Flight Instructor / Instrument / Multi-Engine Ratings).

I lack one more "Written" Test, the Fundamentals of Instruction (FOI).

There's a lot of Psychology in FOI and the answers are very similar. In many cases, one just has to memorize the answer given.  Keep the coffee flowing and rote applying.

At the same time, I'll be doing "air work" and getting comfortable sitting in the right seat.  Most of my 8700+ hours has been in the left seat.

This is a bit of challenge.  But, with good training....I shall overcome.

We enjoyed a lovely day at EPCOT yesterday in celebration of Peter's 21st Birthday.  I'm so glad that Cindy took advantage of being a "Florida Resident" and got us passes "dirt cheap".  Disney / Epcot is a nice place to celebrate!

Yesterday evening, received a call from Victor.  Victor was INVALUABLE in helping us do our relief work in Puerto Rico following Hurricanes Irma & Maria.

Well, he's in town and we'll be having lunch today.  It's good for us to re-connect as Hurricane Season has begun...yesterday.

Victor and his friends make a great "STAGING TEAM" for relief work in the Caribbean.

"Truly, our Lord knows how to deploy His troops"!!

It's time to crack open the "Books" and study the "Fundamentals of Instruction".  THANK YOU for meandering down this path of life with your precious prayer, love and support!!

A QUIET OPENING OF HURRICANE SEASON

Today, officially Hurricane Season opens.  Forecasters are calling for a somewhat average season.  We'll see.

We're "gearing up" because one bad hurricane can do a lot of damage and cause much suffering.

Meanwhile, in the calm before the storm, we're going to Epcot to celebrate Peter's 21st birthday.  Had a lovely dinner last night.

BTW, Cindy made an amazing "Kit Kat" chocolate cake for Peter and yes, it was a delicious as it was beautiful.

THANK YOU, for your precious prayer, love and support!!

A BIT OF ELECTRICITY & SOME CLEAN WATER & HAPPY BIRTHDAY PETER!!

Yesterday, I put some action to my words regarding PREPARING for...whatever may come our way.  It's good to "Practice what I preach"!

Went and bought a very cool generator that runs on gasoline and propane and got it for a very good price...$600.00. WOW!

Now, with the ability to produce our own electricity and make clean water with the Air Mobile Rescuer, we're certainly a bit better prepared than we were yesterday morning.

You know, there are a lot of other places we could spend $600.00, but something inside of me told me to invest in our ability to take care of our family and help our neighbors.  One never knows what may be right around the corner.

And today, 21 years ago, our son Peter came into this world!  Happy Birthday Peter!!  Yes, Peter is 6'2"!!

BTW, Peter is beginning his senior year at FIT (Florida Institute of Technology).  He's studying Business.  We're very proud of Peter!!

Today, we're working on that upcoming meeting with the NASA Center Director at Kennedy Space Center, Bob Cabana.

We're excited about the possibility of our Air Mobile Rescuer providing clean water to the astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS) and the future Mars Mission and the Moon Base.

This is all in our Lord's Hands, but we're thankful that the proposal has gotten this far.  May His will be done!

Time to get on with this day.  As I say every day, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

5 WISE VIRGINS....

I recall the Parable of the 10 Virgins in Matthew 25.  Our Lord Jesus describes 5 wise and 5 foolish.

The main difference between was, 5 went and bought oil when the stores were open and it was readily available.

Hmmm, could this be a life lesson for us?  Oh, there are many dimensions to this parable, but I'd like to simply point out one today.

Having just had Alberto, the first Named Storm of 2018 pass and, it is still wreaking havoc, brings us to the reality that Hurricane Season is upon us.  This year is projected to be a ABOVE AVERAGE.

Now would be a good time to prepare.  It just so happens that a dear friend of mine gave me a $100.00 Gift Certificate for Tractor Supply.

And....Tractor Supply has a 7500 Watt Dual Power (runs on Propane and Gasoline) on sale.  It's time to cash in that Gift Certificate and go buy that Generator!

In other words, I'm "Practicing what I'm Preaching"!

Cindy and I will put off buying some "other" things, and today, we'll  buy this vital tool BEFORE the next storm, or whatever else comes that could knock out our electricity.

The bottom line in today's rambling blog is, don't be like the "5 Foolish Virgins" who wished they had bought "oil" when it was readily available.  Cindy and I would not have liked to have been "kicking ourselves" for NOT buying that generator when we could.

And, for the record, I'm not an agent for Tractor Supply.  They didn't pay me a dime for writing about their generator.  There are a lot of great  Generator deals among many stores.  Check it out for yourself.

Whether you buy a generator or simply stock up on some extra food or batteries or whatever, consider doing something today to be better PREPARED!!  STORMS in life will come!!

And, Air Mobile is gathering up more supplies to be READY for what lies ahead.  So, as I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

ENJOYING AMERICA....

Oh, America has it's problems but....overall, it's a great place to live.  I love the freedom, opportunity and absolute beauty of this place.

TRULY, AMERICA HAS BEEN BLESSED BY GOD!!!

We love Playalinda Beach, where we spent yesterday, right next to Kennedy Space Center.

I'm also extremely grateful for the men and women who gave their lives that we might enjoy this great country.

It's the day after Memorial Day and time to get back to work.  But, let us not forget the price that has been paid for America!

Today, will be laying out the agenda for an upcoming meeting with the NASA Center Director (Bob Cabana) for Kennedy Space Center.

Will be discussing the possible usage of the Air Mobile Rescuer  water purifier on-board the International Space Station (ISS).  This has long been our dream and we're moving a step closer with this meeting.

Alberto, the first named storm of the 2018, is a reminder that Hurricane Season is upon us.  It's time to get ready now!  This season is projected to be above average for Hurricane activity.

BTW, here the latest on Alberto - TRACKING ALBERTO

Time to get on with this day.  Glad to be alive!  And.....as always, THANK YOU for your precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

ALBERTO MAKING LANDFALL....REMEMBERING ON MEMORIAL DAY

Alberto should make landfall later this afternoon.  This is certainly an early beginning of the 2018 Hurricane Season.

Here's more on this "early arrival" - ALBERTO STRENGTHENS & THREATENS THE GULF COAST

On this "stormy" Memorial Day, we remember.

Cindy lost her brother, LCL Thomas S. Perron USMC on October 23, 1983 in Beruit, Lebanon.

Tommy was an extraordinary young man who loved the Lord Jesus.  He died at the age of 19 years old at the hands of terrorists.

Tommy is buried in Arlington Cemetery.  We join so many others who remember their loved ones who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

May you be blessed on this Memorial Day. May we all remember those who served, sacrificed and are serving to make this great country what it is today.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

And....THANK YOU for standing with us with your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

AWAKENED BY A WX ALERT...REMEMBERING..... MEMORIAL DAY

Do you have a Weather Radio?  If not, I suggest you get one. They're great.

They are not very expensive, about $25-$30 and well worth it.

I was awakened at 4:45am with a possible tornado threat.  Glad to have that little jewel waking me up.  I was able to "Batten down the Hatches" (lower our hurricane shutters).

The reason for all these "warnings"....Sub Tropical Storm Alberto is passing abeam us out in the Gulf of Mexico.

I can tell you, Alberto has a lot of rain!  We've been having rain here in Florida for the last 2 weeks.  No "drought" here!

There will be NO Sunny Florida on this Memorial Day weekend.  Here's more on Alberto - ALBERTO EXPECTED TO STRENGTHEN

And...on this Memorial Day, here in America, we remember those who have served and those who have laid their life down for our freedom.

Cindy lost her little brother, Tommy in the Beruit Bombing.  Tommy was a 19 year old Marine.

Tommy loved the Lord and is with our Lord Jesus in heaven.

Wherever you are, may you be blessed this on this Memorial Day weekend.

THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

HERE COMES "ALBERTO".... HURRICANE SEASON BEGINS A BIT EARLY

It comes around every year about this time.  We all remember last year....Harvey / Irma and Maria.  Those hurricanes took lives, caused BILLIONS of dollars in damages and affected millions!

This Hurricane Season is predicted to be "above normal activity".

Time to get ready!!

Looks like some yucky weather on our Memorial Day weekend.  Oh, well, comes with the "territory".

THANK GOD for our Service Members and their families.

Meanwhile, we're gathering supplies and getting as many Air Mobile Rescuers as we can, ready for action.  CLEAN WATER is ALWAYS an issue with hurricanes and tropical storms.

THANK YOU, as always, for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

REFINING....DROSS

In reading Proverbs 25, this morning, I came across verse 4...take away the "dross".

I'm reminded of how our Lord is continually working on us.  THANK YOU, LORD!

As we go through the trials and challenges of life, the heat increases and so does the pressure and....as we turn toward the Lord, the dross comes to the surface.  It's painful, but needful.

Then, it will become beautiful pure silver to be made into jewelry in the Hands of our Lord.  Oh Lord, let it be in me!!!

The Book of Proverbs is, indeed, the Book of Wisdom.  I don't read it everyday, but when I need "adjustments in my life", I go there.

Just as a matter of practice, I often go to the day of the month and read that particular Proverb (today being the 25th, I read Proverbs 25).

It works for me and the most important thing is to go to the Word of God...to get that light for our pathway....as I shared in yesterday's blog.

Are you facing challenges today?  I suspect you are, as we all go through "stuff".  May I urge you to turn to the God's Word and seek His wisdom.  He'll be there!!

THANK YOU for meandering down this winding "Rambling Blog" of life with me.  Your prayer, love and support is such a blessing. THANK YOU again!!

THY WORD...A LIGHT UNTO MY PATH

Met with our dear friends, Ric Hutchinson and his Mom, Debbie yesterday.  They have been missionaries in Haiti for many years.

So good catching up and hearing their plans for the future.

Ariana joined us, for a feast of a breakfast, as only Cracker Barrel can do.  This is good training for her, as she has a tender heart to serve the Lord.

BTW, Cindy was at the hospital with her Dad for surgery.  It was successful and he's doing well.

As we discussed the "Challenges" of working in Haiti, we kept coming back to the Word of God.  Indeed, "A Light Unto Our Path...."

Haiti, like many mission fields, has so many staggering problems....but, with God, all things are possible.

At the end of our time together, we PRAYED for our Lord to lead us each step of the way.

Today, we'll be gathering up more supplies for Haiti.  Our great friends at the Alternative Pregnancy Center, APC, have more baby food and formula for us.  We're very THANKFUL!

And, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

A CALL FOR ADVICE....

Cindy, Ari and I had just departed a local "Thrift Store" (you can get GREAT bargains!!).

We needed some wall art for a little place that we're "fixing up".  For pennies on the dollar we departed feeling smug and happy.

The phone rang.  It was a gentleman going to Haiti and needed some advice.  After listening to his plans, my simple advice was...."DON'T GO"!  At least not with your itinerary.

He would have been traveling with an unknown driver, on the most dangerous road in Haiti.... AFTER DARK!  A very bad combination.

I'm glad he called.  He's seriously re-considering his trip and looking into an alternative itinerary.

You may recall, recently, another Humanitarian group was ambushed, driver shot and killed and the group sustained serious injuries by....traveling on a dangerous road after dark!

Thank God, we were able to fly in and get them out.  BTW, they are recovering but still need our prayers.

Meanwhile, this morning, I'll be having breakfast with a young missionary in Haiti.  We'll be discussing his current mission and future plans.

I love listening to the heart of young people called by God to His service!!

It's time to head to Cracker Barrel for a serious breakfast (I love Cracker Barrel) and an opportunity to share with a young missionary some of the wisdom gained over the years.

I've certainly made my share of mistakes and hopefully, I can help this young man avoid some of the pitfalls.  GOD'S GRACE IS AMAZING!!

As always, THANK YOU for meandering down this road with me.  We're extremely grateful for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

OPEN SCHEDULE....SOMEWHAT

One of the things that I love when..."between missions" is the freedom to keep my schedule "somewhat" open.  This is not an easy thing to do, as needs are ever-present.  But, it can be done to some degree.

Let me explain.  It would be easy to completely fill every spare moment with activity.  It need not be that way.

Now Folks, let me be perfectly clear.  I HAVE NOT, in any way mastered this feat, but I'm working on it.

For example, our daughter, Ariana is a promising writer.  Her imagination is extraordinary and her command of the English language is impressive.

I love spending time with her and even taking dictation as she writes.

BTW, our recent mission to India gave Ari a lot of  "material" for a future book.

And sometimes, we take a scooter ride to nowhere.  Just cruising around.

Oh, there are always "things" to be done.  We just don't have to do them....all at the same time.

Thus, this blog this morning stating that I have nothing special or extraordinary on my "To Do List".

Cindy and I are about to leave to go shopping for an area rug.  Then, only our Lord knows what will happen for the rest of the day.  My schedule is "somewhat" open.

THANK YOU for meandering down this winding road of a daily blog.  Your prayer, love and support are simply invaluable and I so appreciate them!!

A BUMPY RIDE HOME....

Spirit Airlines did a good job of getting me home.  We departed Kansas City with storms all around.

The pilot threaded his way between multiple storms enroute and sought the smooth air...as best he could.

The route took me first to Detroit and then Orlando.  The flight from Kansas City was a bit late and fortunately, Spirit held up the Orlando flight to allow me to board.  The door was closed when I reached the gate, but they let me on!  I'm so glad to be home!

Well, the Garmin Training is still fresh in my head.  Now, I need to just sit in the Little Donkey and go over some of the training scenarios to nail them down.  Praise God for good training!!

Time to get to work.  As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

GOOD BYE KANSAS CITY....

Time to head home.  I'm so glad to have taken the time to get this invaluable training from Garmin.  It'll make future flights safer and...a bit easier.  Once you know how to use the tools, the machine (the Avionics) can work for you.  I love it!!

For years I've wondered if my memory was serving me regarding an old Hotel in Kansas City.

While I was with Kerry of Tri-Star Experience yesterday, I posed the question.  Did Kansas City ever have a "Hotel New Yorker"?  Kerry thought for a moment and said he didn't remember one.

Mmmm, was my memory failing me?  Meanwhile, we called a former TWA Pilot, Dusty.  I posed the question.  He said, YES.  Many TWA Pilots would stay there.

So, Kerry and I took a ride downtown and found where the Hotel New Yorker used to be.  Victory!  My memory did not fail me.

Now, there's more to this story and it involves Barry Seal, but I'll write more about it later.

Time to catch my flight home.  As always THANK YOU, for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

FINISH THE COURSE....& A GLORIOUS WEDDING

Well, I must say, the 2 day Avionics Training Course hosted Garmin here in Olathe, KS was everything I expected and more!

I realize that for the last few days I've gone on and on about Garmin Avionics, but, as a pilot, this equipment makes work in the cockpit SO MUCH SAFER & A BIT EASIER.

And, it really helps to learn how to, more fully utilize, the many features and tremendous capability of this remarkable equipment.  BRAVO GARMIN for a job well done!!

I awoke this morning to a GLORIOUS WEDDING!  All I can say is WOW!

Harry & Meghan stole the show.  What an Amazing story!!!

Today, I'll be meeting with Kerry of Tri-Star Experience.  You may recall that Kerry brilliantly obtained the original "Flying Hospital".

The aircraft is no longer used as a hospital, but as a "Classroom" for STEM (Science - Technology - Engineering & Mathematics).

We met Kerry in our quest to obtain a larger aircraft.  Our QUEST goes on.  I look forward to spending some time with Kerry today.

I THANK YOU again for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

With a donut & a cup of coffee, the day began at Garmin HQ in the quest of knowledge (treasures) on how to more fully utilize the Avionics in the Little Donkey.  I was not disappointed!!

As the day went on, Paul, our Expert Instructor showed us short-cuts and ways to make changes that will make our future flights safer and more "pleasant".  I LOVE IT!!

And...today, I get to do the same thing.  I always knew that I was only "scratching the surface" of all that these remarkable instruments could do.

So glad to have taken the time "dig for more gold"!

So, it's time to head back over to Garmin HQ for some more training.  Yes, I love my job and I'm extremely THANKFUL to have you on-board with me in this great adventure.

A BUMPY RIDE & A TREASURE HUNT....

Was up early yesterday and boarded a Spirit Airlines flight to Kansas City.  About half way the turbulence began.

Our pilot did a good job of seeking smooth air.  We arrived right on time and intact.  Bravo!

This morning I'll be beginning 2 days of intense training on our Garmin G-500 and 750 at Garmin Headquarters.

Oh, I know the basic navigation capabilities of these instruments, as we've flown the Little Donkey all over this Hemisphere following disasters.

But....just like the I-Phone, most folks know how to make a call and download an App or two, but few know just how much a "Smart Phone" can do.

It's the same with these wonderful Avionics.  So, today, may the TREASURE BOX be opened more fully.

"GOING TO KANSAS CITY....."

Catching a flight to Kansas City early this morning.  For the next few days, will be in intense training on Garmin Avionics.

As a pilot, I must say, today's navigation / communication equipment is absolutely spectacular!

For example, when I first began flying in the Caribbean (40 years ago), the primary navigation system was ADF (Automatic Direction Finder).

There was no GPS.  It was pretty "easy" to get lost and simply run out of fuel.

Over the years, a number of aircraft & ships have been lost in the BERMUDA TRIANGLE!

And yes....I could tell you a story or two, but not today.

Now, this new generation of equipment is so capable, and there are so many features, it just takes good old-fashioned training to know how to more fully open the "treasure box" of information.

That's why I'm going to Garmin Headquarters to learn more about these wonderful instruments.

Time to head to the airport.  I'm really looking forward to this training.

BTW, Garmin has been very gracious to Air Mobile and donated invaluable avionics.  THANK YOU GARMIN!!!!

JOE & ROGER & A 500% INCREASE!!

Several years ago, my good friend and legendary NBC Icon, Roger Miller and I traveled to Haiti.  Roger was 80 years old for this epic journey, he's now 86.

He made an amazing video on Air Mobile Ministries and later won a prestigious award for this bit of handy work.

Well, yesterday, Roger wasn't feeling well and went to the ER.

I had the privilege to check on him and give him a ride home.  Sure do love my great friend Roger.  BTW, he's doing better.

Please remember Roger in your prayer for a full recovery.  THANK YOU!

Then, another great friend, Larry Junker of NASA fame met me at the airport where I was able to show our latest development with the Air Mobile Rescuer.  BTW, Larry is also 86 years old.

We now have a means of increasing our output by 500%.  We're "tweaking" the system and soon, it will be ready for production.

Here's a short clip where I'm explaining the basic operation of the the newest "Air Mobile 500"!

Today, I'll be with Paul, our wonderful mechanic.  We'll be going over the next inspection for the Little Donkey.  We're gearing up for the "next mission".

Tomorrow, I'll be heading to Olathe, Kansas to the Garmin Factory.  Will be engaged in some intense training on the Garmin G-500 / Garmin 750.

Though I use this equipment extensively on our flights, I'll be digging deeper into these incredible instruments and learning how to utilize them more fully.  Looking forward to that!!

As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

Meanwhile, at the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem, the Ceremonies are proceeding on schedule.

This move, establishing Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel, has many BIBLICAL implications.

I believe that Jesus is Coming Back SOON!  These events fulfill prophesies all throughout the Bible.

We're simply PRAYING for our Lord's Will To Be Done!!!

And, as always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

GOD BLESS OUR MOTHERS!!!

Here in America, we celebrate Mother's Day today.  PRAISE GOD for our Mom's!

My mother, has gone on to be with Jesus.  Oh, I miss my wise and sweet Cajun Momma who was born in Denham Springs, Louisiana.

Though she didn't complete the 10th grade, her wisdom and love far out-shined the most learned.  I miss you, Momma.

However, our Lord, in His infinite grace and love brought Cindy into my life.

Cindy is an awesome Mother, Wife and Proverbs 31 "Lady of God"!  I am blessed!!

CINDY, I LOVE YOU!!!

So, today, honor and bless your Mother!  They are indeed an amazing Gift from God!!

THE "QUEST"

We are on a "Quest" to bring CLEAN WATER to a thirsty world.

Our Lord has graciously given us a remarkable machine (Air Mobile Rescuer) to take very dirty & contaminated water and make it very clean.

With your help, we've been able to travel to the "hot spots" of the world following terrible disasters and bring CLEAN WATER to the thirsty.  PRAISE GOD!!

To date, we've been able to place over 1200 Rescuers in 47 countries.

While in Ecuador, following a massive earthquake,  CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) helped us to make a TRAINING VIDEO for the Air Mobile Rescuer.

If you'd like to know more about this amazing machine, just take a peek at the video to learn how to set-up / operate / maintain and trouble-shoot the Rescuer.

Here's the video - AIR MOBILE RESCUER TRAINING VIDEO

BTW, we're extremely THANKFUL to CBN for helping us to make this excellent training video.

Over the years, I've written about the Rescuer countless times.  If you've ever been curious to see just how this "miracle machine" works, be sure to take a look at the video.

You'll see just how simple the unit is to operate and what an awesome "game-changer" it is, particularly after catastrophic disasters.

We are continually improving the Rescuer based upon actual "Field Experience".

Our QUEST goes on to make the best portable water purification system on the planet!!  With our Lord's help, we're doing just that!!

I am so glad that you have joined us on this QUEST!  THANK YOU, again for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

A NOBLE MISSION....

This morning, while reading Provers 11, I came across verse 25.

I realized again that you and I are on a very noble mission...that of bringing CLEAN WATER to the thirsty.

Our Lord has truly blessed us with a remarkable machine that takes very dirty water and makes it very clean.  This is an awesome gift to the thirsty!

We go about our day, seeking ways to bring more clean water to the thirsty, and I am so glad that you are with us on this journey.

I am ever reminded of the Words of our Lord Jesus...."I was thirsty and you gave Me to drink..."

Together, we have been able to place 1200+ Air Mobile Rescuers in 47 countries and....we've only just begun!!!

That is why I say every single day, and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

THE EARLY SPACE DAYS...A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE

I had the distinct privilege to spend the entire day with my dear friend, Larry Junker.

Many years ago, our Lord brought Larry into my life at time that I needed clear direction.  Larry is one of the wisest men I know.

Oh, we had a blast yesterday during our drive down to South Florida.

Larry was hired by NASA in 1963 when the Space Race was heating up.

He worked on the Apollo Program that sent men to the Moon.  Having this time with Larry allowed us to walk down "Memory Lane".  This History is fascinating and I got slices of it,  first-hand.

In addition to the Apollo Program, Larry was instrumental on the Shuttle Program and specifically the recovery of the Solid Rocket Boosters (SRB).

Again, it was such a joy spending this precious time with my dear friend.  Larry was also able to see his sister, Beverly.

Bev is the one responsible for Larry getting on with NASA, but that is another story.

Larry will be the first one to tell you that, it is all about Jesus and His Amazing Grace.

Folks, we have so much to learn from one another.  Often, we only need to take the time to do it.  Our 400+ mile journey together yesterday afforded the perfect opportunity to do so.

Meanwhile, we're working on preparing for the "Next Mission".  Not sure where it will be, but our Lord certainly does.  That is why, we're holding tightly to His hand.

And...THANK YOU for standing together with us with your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

TIME WITH A "NASA LEGEND"

Today, I'll be driving down to South Florida with a very dear friend of mine, Larry Junker.  Larry has been like a father to me for many, many years.

Larry is an endless resource of wise and Godly counsel.  I'm glad to be spending a little time with my dear Brother today.

BTW, Larry was a top Engineer at NASA for years.  Among his many accomplishments, he was the Chief Structural Project Engineer on the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB)...when he was 34 years old!  Larry is a great engineer and friend!!

Larry is now in his 80's and still Scuba Dives, Snowboards, Water Skies and more.  Larry is my hero and I'm glad to be spending some precious time with him today.

Above all, and most importantly, Larry Junker loves Jesus with all of his heart!

You know, Folks, I've said this many times, but it certainly bears repeating..."Where would I be without my dear friends who have helped me along this journey of life?"  I'm extremely THANKFUL to have Larry Junker as my friend!

And....I'm THANKFUL to have you along with me on this meandering daily blog.  So appreciate your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

A GENUINE CAJUN CRAWFISH BOIL IN...ORLANDO (LONGWOOD)

Depend upon my dear friend, Joe Polozola to pull off this feat..and with style.

Joe and I go back to 10th Grade Geometry at Baton Rouge High School (1966).  And...Joe later introduced me to Jesus as my Lord and Savior.  THANK YOU JOE!

Well, Joe is a genuine, certified Cajun and he's built a Cajun Village in a swamp in his backyard and from time to time, he throws a "Cajun Crawfish Boil".  Such was the case yesterday.

Now, peeling a crawfish is a bit of art and Joe is quick to teach you the finer points of extracting the delicious little bit of goodness.

Steadily, the crowd grew and even though many of the party participants were not from Louisiana, they surely got a taste of a "Genuine Louisiana Crawfish Boil".

Joe had almost 200 pounds of the delicious "ditch bugs" from Louisiana.  As the day moved on, the table was continually replenished with hot, delicious crawfish.  That too is an art, spreading out the feast.

At the end of the day, I left "full" of crawfish and some pleasant memories of my Cajun roots.  THANK YOU JOE for sharing this with us!

And THANK YOU, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

CAJUN ROOTS

Many years ago, Joe Polozola introduced me to Jesus.  I'm eternally grateful!

From time to time, we get together and enjoy pizza and have great fellowship.

But....both Joe and I fare from Baton Rouge, LA.  We have strong Cajun Roots!

Even though Joe moved to Orlando a number of years ago, he still remembers his roots and has, from time to time, a genuine CAJUN CRAWFISH BOIL.

I'm heading there today.  Mmmmm, love crawfish!

Meanwhile, back at home, Ariana has had an amazing 13th Birthday party with her friends.

It was so much fun just listening to the girls laugh and joke and sing and have a blast.

Cindy made her signature "Checkered Cake" (chocolate & stawberry).

And golf cart rides to the pool and just fun evening of singing and celebrating.  We love you, Ari!!!

In the midst of these parties, we're monitoring the Massive Volcanic Eruption and 6.9 Earthquake in Hawaii.

This story is developing as I type. We watch and pray and ask our Lord for guidance!!  Here's more - 6.9 MAGNITUDE QUAKE / ERUPTIONS PROMPT "STATE OF EMERGENCY" ON BIG ISLAND

So, on this beautiful day in Florida, it's time to head over to Joe's for the Cajun Party.  THANK YOU, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

THE DAY "AFTER" THE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER....PRAY!!!

Yesterday was the National Day of Prayer here in America.  It is GOOD to PRAY!

As a matter of fact, the Apostle Paul tells us to...PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!

Had a wonderful time at the Space Coast Prayer Breakfast  yesterday.  It was very encouraging to hear so many of our Leaders PRAY and openly express their faith in God!

It was good to see my friend, Congressman Bill Posey.  He has been an excellent representative of Central Florida in Washington.

God Bless You, Congressman Posey and keep up the good work!

In reading Proverbs 4 this morning, I'm moved by our Lord's desire to give us His Wisdom.  Folks, we need God's Wisdom every day.

Every single day, we all face decisions.  Some small, some large.  That is the time to call upon the Lord to lead us and guide us.  I know that I CERTAINLY need His wisdom every day!!

So, I'm writing this today to remind me... to call upon Him.  Yes, we do need to PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!

May we carry on the National Day of Prayer to the DAILY DAY OF PRAYER!  I know that I need it!!

THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

TRUST IN THE LORD.....

Opened up my Bible to Proverbs 3 this morning. I LOVE this Proverb!

As  some of you who have wandered down this "Rambling Blog Road" with me over the years know, I like to select the "Proverb of the Day" for study.   (31 Proverbs, one for each day of the month).

Solomon truly was given the gift of WISDOM and shares that wisdom with us in the Book of Proverbs.

Here, I'd like to share Proverbs 3 with you in the English Standard Version (ESV).  Hope you enjoy it.  May it bring His guidance, peace, strength and joy to your soul today. PROVERBS 3 {ESV)

Yesterday, we celebrated Ariana's 13th Birthday.  Cindy and I are  so THANKFUL that our Lord brought this precious one into our lives!  WE LOVE YOU, ARI!

This morning, up early to go to the Annual Space Coast Prayer Breakfast.

On this National Day of Prayer, may our Nation come together in UNITY!  We certainly need it!

So, armed with Proverbs 3 and Prayer, it's going to be a good day!

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

13 YEARS AGO TODAY....

Cindy and I are blessed beyond measure to have our sweet Ariana.

Today, she became a teenager.  This morning, we had a cup of coffee and croissant at Dunkin Donuts.

Ariana loves the Lord and serves Him diligently.

She was a true trooper on our recent mission to India.  God bless you, Ari!!

Cindy and Ari are planning a great party this weekend.

THANK YOU for your faithful and invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

HAVING TEA WITH BARB & BON VOYAGE

We've have the privilege, and just good time, to have our intrepid Barb (AKA:  Rambo in the Blue Dress) with us for the past week.  WE LOVE BARB!!!

This morning, we bid farewell to this intrepid Lady of God.

For those of you who may be new to this "Rambling Blog", Barb is our hero.  She has "rescued" over 2500 children and so much more!

As a matter of fact, we would not have Ariana, nor would she likely be alive without Barb's courage, ingenuity & pure love.

Ari is an amazing gift to our family.  THANK YOU, BARB!

So, this morning, we bid farewell and wish her Bon Voyage as she flies back up to New York.

Meanwhile, we're working on gathering all of the components to assemble Air Mobile Rescuers....getting ready for the 2018 HURRICANE SEASON!

So, it's time to head to the airport and drop Barb and then get to work.

THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!
