THE JURY IS STILL OUT....

Spoke with Continental Motors yesterday and...no decision has been made, as of yet, regarding a discount or even an outright donation of an engine for the Little Donkey.

Continental Motors, just like much of the General Aviation world has been to Oshkosh "AirVenture", the world's largest Annual Fly-In.  They've been extremely busy the last few weeks.

Over the years, Continental has been very good to Air Mobile supporting the front engine on the Little Donkey.

We are PRAYING for Grace & Favor regarding the possibility of a good discount or even a donation.  May God's will be done!!

This morning, I read Proverbs 3, one of my all time favorite chapters in the Bible.  I like to read the corresponding Proverb to the day of the month.

There is so much wisdom and grace found in Proverbs!!  I'd like to share Proverbs 3 with you.

Take a few minutes and read it....you'll be glad you did!  PROVERBS 3 NKJV

So, as we launch into this beautiful day, we go forth with God's favor and grace.  THANK YOU, as always, for your PRECIOUS prayer, love and support!!

A RIDE IN THE "PARK"

Ari & I were out for a pleasant "Scooter" ride in the park when...we ran out of gas.

These things happen...especially when you don't check quantity before departing and...the little yellow scooter doesn't have a gas gauge.

Fortunately, Cindy was close by and brought us some gas in the golf cart.  Once re-fueled, we continued our pleasant ride in the park.

It's nice to get out into the fresh air and just clear one's head.

Between the need for a replacement engine for the Little Donkey and the possibility of the Air Mobile Rescuer flying in outer space and so many other issues, I find myself simply needing God's Wisdom to know how to navigate.

In today's reading in Proverbs I came across this verse (Proverbs 2:4-5).

So, today, I'll be studying God's Word and searching for His Wisdom....as for Silver

Will also be going over the notes from the last NASA meeting.  So much to digest.

I'm also resuming my study for the CFI (Certified Flight Instructor).  Am currently preparing for another Written Test on the "Fundamentals of Instruction".  It will be a day of study and searching.

THANK YOU for meandering down this road of "life" with me.   I truly appreciate your precious prayer, love and support!!!!

GREAT MEETING....WITH NASA

What a meeting!  Learned so much about what happens on the International Space Station (ISS) especially when things don't go "as planned".

And CLEAN DRINKING WATER is a NON-NEGOTIABLE!!

As you, who follow this "Rambling Blog" know, we've been working with NASA "for a while" on this project.

As you can well imagine, there are a lot of variables and challenges, especially in dealing with "Zero G" (weightlessness).

One of our goals is to get the Air Mobile Rescuer on-board a "Zero G" aircraft to see just what happens to the flow and UV / Ozone reaction when weightless.

And....a wonderful potential "Spin-Off" is how NASA can help us make the Air Mobile Rescuer BETTER for service right here on Earth...as well as in Space!  I love that!!!

This pursuit is a true WIN-WIN situation!!!  I'm especially THANKFUL to the amazing engineers and scientists who have already shared so much vital information with us for the success of this noble project.

I'm reminded of the wise words of my first Pastor, Roy Stockstill.  When I, as a "Rookie Missionary", was facing some daunting challenges, he shared this magnificent truth.

He said, "Son, don't forget, God knows how to deploy His troops".  Our Lord has surely given us some of the finest and most capable Engineers and Scientists in the world to make the incredible Air Mobile Rescuer even BETTER!!

So, today, I'll be pouring over my notes and ideas from yesterday and seeking ways to make clean water even more efficiently.

As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

BACK TO NASA....

This morning, will be in more meetings with NASA Engineers / Scientists at Kennedy Space Center.

We're continuing our study of keeping CLEAN WATER flowing in the International Space Station & Beyond utilizing the Air Mobile Rescuer.

Our primary focus is to provide a means of purifying the water in the event of an emergency on-board.

This is very EXCITING stuff and it's such a privilege to be working with folks who are so SMART!!

My prayer is that the "Spin-Off" from all this study and research will improve the Air Mobile Rescuer and give us an even better tool to bring CLEAN WATER TO THIRSTY PEOPLE BOTH ON THIS WORLD & OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Our quest goes on.  Praise God!!

Later today, I'll be reaching out to Continental Motors regarding the replacement engine for the Little Donkey.

PLEASE join us in PRAYER as we seek to get the very best price, or better yet, a full DONATION for a Factory Remanufactured engine for the Little Donkey!

WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

So, it's time to head to Kennedy Space Center (KSC) to meet with NASA.  These are exciting times.  THANK YOU, as always for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

PRAY FOR RAIN....FOR CALIFORNIA!

Thousands of brave fire-fighters are on the front line in California fighting fierce wild fires.

Let us PRAY for them and all of the victims who have lost their homes and some, their lives.

As I sit here writing this "blog" my heart cries out for RAIN to help them win this battle.  Let us join together and...PRAY FOR RAIN!!

To some, this may seem silly but remember, WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

Think about this....what can you do to help in California?  PRAYER IS POWERFUL & GOD HEARS OUR PRAYERS!!

On another note, tomorrow, I continue our meetings with NASA at Kennedy Space Center regarding the possibility of providing clean water to the Astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS) utilizing the Air Mobile Rescuer.

Of course certain modifications would have to be made due to weightlessness and the challenges of being in space.

But, I must tell you what a joy and privilege it is to be sitting with "Rocket Scientists & Aerospace Engineers" and even discussing our remarkable water machine!!  Our quest moves forward!!!

We're also making progress on securing a replacement engine for the Little Donkey.

I'll be speaking with Continental Motors tomorrow to follow-up on a request we have made for special pricing and even an outright DONATION.

PLEASE PRAY that our Lord gives us favor with Continental Motors!!!

Remember to PRAY for RAIN for California.  They really need it and it will help put those fires out!!!

THANK YOU, as always for walking down this road of life with us!  We so appreciate your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

AN OPEN DOOR

Over 20 years ago Cindy asked the Hospital Director if we could conduct a Sunday service for the patients.  He agreed.  A door OPENED!

Cindy and I became the Hospital Chaplains. With God's help and grace and a wonderful team of Air Mobile Volunteers, we have been able to conduct Sunday Services to all who desire to hear the Word of God every single Sunday for these last 20+ years!

We now conduct 4 separate services and only our Lord knows how many have called upon Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Confidentiality Laws prevent us from sharing any details about these services.  No names can be mentioned, no photos, etc. etc.

We are in need of Volunteers to help us with this precious ministry.

If you live in the Titusville / Orlando area and would like to help us in this wonderful outreach, please contact me at:  airmobilejoe@gmail.com or give me a call at:  321-544-7757.

I can't begin to tell you what a JOY it is to bring the Good News of Jesus to the sick.

It's time for us to get ready for Church and then on to the Hospital.

THANK YOU, as always, for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

A CLOUDY NIGHT....

So, I went out just before midnight and saw a beautiful moon and Mars was beaming red then....the clouds moved in and covered the "Celestial Show".

Oh well, I knew what was going on behind those clouds.  I'm THANKFUL that our Lord does give us "Signs & Wonders" in the Heavens.

And...it's good to know that He is working in our lives, even when the clouds obscure our vision.

The bottom line is...."For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son..."

So, wherever you are and whatever you are doing today, may you be blessed by the Love of God!!

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

SIGNS & WONDERS....BE WATCHING THE SKY TONIGHT

This evening, around midnight (Eastern Time), there will be a spectacular celestial show.

Here's more of how to see it - HOW TO WATCH THE LONGEST BLOOD MOON ECLIPSE OF THE CENTURY

The truth is, Jesus is coming back to this earth and before He returns, there will signs and wonders in the heavens.

I believe that these "Signs" are a reminder to keep our eyes on the Lord.  Take a look at what Acts 2 has to say...

Acts 2:19-21 English Standard Version (ESV)

19 And I will show wonders in the heavens above
and signs on the earth below,
    blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke;
20 the sun shall be turned to darkness
    and the moon to blood,
before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day.
21 And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’

We don't know when our Lord will return to this earth, but the Signs in the Heavens are a clear reminder that JESUS IS COMING BACK!

I hope you get the opportunity to take a look in the heavens tonight and call upon His Name!!

Meanwhile, we're working diligently to get the rear engine replaced on the Little Donkey.

Please join together with us in PRAYER that all of the funds will come to get this valuable tool back in the air.

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

SOMETIMES....

In writing a "rambling" blog every single day, there are times....I just don't know what to write about.

So, today is such a day.  Have the usual phone calls and e-mails to write. Bills to pay and money to raise...for the rear engine for the Little Donkey and so forth and so on.

Just moving ahead and holding tightly onto the Hand of my Lord Jesus.

Oh, I can always write about the goodness of God and that is, vast and never ending.  I suppose I do have something to write about after all.

OK, I'm certainly the recipient of our Lord's AMAZING GRACE and BLESSINGS!

Even on the days that I don't have anything in particular to write about, I can always come to the Throne of God's Grace and REJOICE!!

Wherever you are today, may you drink deeply of God's love and be blessed!!

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

DRIVING MISS BARBARA

I had the wonderful opportunity to drive Barb (The Lady in the Blue Dress) to see Dr. Steve Badolato yesterday.

Steve has been Barb's Florida Doctor for years.  He's also my Doctor.

I can't begin to tell you the times that Dr. Steve has shared his remarkable medical skills with us!

Often, we're "on the move" and don't have time to make a proper appointment.

Steve has always "squeezed" us in and given us vital medical treatment when we need it.   Such was the case yesterday.

THANK YOU DR. STEVE!!!!

From seeing Dr. Steve, I dropped Barb at the Orlando International Airport and she flew to Indiana to be at the Annual Reunion.

"Adopted Kids" and their families from all over come to this great reunion.  Barb has arranged the adoption of over 2500 children.  Barb is our hero!!

Well, another meeting with NASA has been set for tomorrow!

We'll be in further discussion regarding how the remarkable Air Mobile Rescuer might be utilized on the International Space Station (ISS).  Our quest goes on!

As we move closer to this goal, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

ONE SMALL STEP.... CLOSER

Had another great meeting with NASA at Kennedy Space Center regarding the "testing" of the Air Mobile Rescuer for use in space.  PRAISE GOD!

Just the fact that NASA is still "interested" in the Air Mobile Rescuer for possible deployment on the International Space Station...& beyond is AMAZING!!

The Air Mobile Rescuer is an incredible machine that is EXTREMELY POWERFUL & EFFICIENT.

We're definitely moving closer and closer to the goal of seeing the Rescuer fly into space!!

I love Kennedy Space Center!!  There are many remarkable buildings and phenomenal accomplishments have have been achieved here.

The Vehicle Assembly Building (where the Saturn 5 and the Space Shuttle had been "stacked"), is still a wonder of the world.

There are also "mysterious" things that happen here....like the X-37B, the "spy craft".  Hmmmm.

So, the quest goes on to provide fresh, clean drinking water to the Astronauts.

Again, we're THANKFUL to our Lord for giving us such a "gift" to bring clean water to a thirsty world.

Today, we'll be working on getting that much needed replacement engine for the "Little Donkey".

So, as I say every single day, and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

BACK TO NASA @ KSC

Today, will be back at Kennedy Space Center (KSC).  This is to follow-up on multiple meetings already conducted.

Will be meeting with NASA engineers and scientists who are looking at the Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier for possible utilization on-board the International Space Station (ISS).  WOW!!

We'll be demonstrating the portability, simplicity, power and efficiency of the Rescuer.

Truly, our Lord has given us an amazing machine to bring clean water to the world...even in space!

We've already placed 1200+ Rescuers in 47 countries following some of the worst disasters world-wide.

Again, we're so THANKFUL for this amazing tool and gift to the thirsty!!  I'm reminded of the Words of our Lord Jesus....."I was thirsty and you gave Me to drink..."

Literally, thousands around the globe are drinking CLEAN WATER as a result of the Rescuer.  Countless lives have been and are being saved because of the love of God and your prayers and generosity!

While on a "Mission" to Ecuador, Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) produced this Training Video demonstrating how to set-up / operate / maintain & trouble-shoot the remarkable Rescuer.

Here's the Video - AIR MOBILE RESCUER TRAINING VIDEO

If you'd like to learn more about this simple and powerful tool, take a few minutes to look at this video.

Time to get ready for the NASA meeting.  As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

REST....

Oh, it's just good to be home and have a lazy weekend.  Typical "Florida Afternoon Thunderstorms" punctuated the day with "Severe Weather Alerts" on the WX Radio periodically throughout the day.

Played Rummy with Cindy and Yahtzee with Barbara.  Even visited the community pool for a relaxing swim between thunder bumpers.

Overall, a very nice way to spend a lazy and restful Saturday at home.

Today, it'll be off to church and then Chapel at the Hospital.   As I say everyday and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

BACK FROM SUMMER CAMP & A GLORIOUS WEDDING

Yesterday, our lovely Ariana came home from Summer Camp. She had a blast and couldn't stop giggling all the way home.

She and Barbara (the Lady in the Blue Dress) visited our local Dollar Store.  Barb loves the Dollar Store!

BTW, it was Barb who "rescued" Ari from Haiti 11 years ago.  Ari is one of 2500+ children whom Barb has rescued!

God bless you, Barbara Walker!

It was then off to the wedding of the son of our dear friends (and super "Water Mules"), Joe and Lydia Prussel.

Their son, Hunter married the lovely Elizabeth.  It was an amazing and absolutely beautiful wedding!

Cindy completed her first week of work as an RN at our local hospital.  So proud of my Cindy!!

We're not planning anything but..... REST this weekend.

HOME.....13 HOURS LATER

Had a safe, but rather long ride home from the Tennessee Retreat Cabin.  Love driving through the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Such beautiful country!

Just before departing the "Cabin" I captured this wondrous "airshow" by the hummers.

Drove into Titusville, around midnight and went straight to the Orlando International airport to pick up Barbara (The Lady in the Blue Dress).

She's in town to attend the wedding of Joe & Lydia Prussel's son, Hunter.  Welcome Barb!

Was up early this morning to see my Cindy off to work at the Hospital.  Go Cindy!!

Well, it's good to be back in Florida....breathing the "Ocean Air".  Oh, it's good to be home!!  God is good!!

TIME TO LEAVE THE "MOUNTAIN AIR" FOR THE "OCEAN AIR"

It's time to bid farewell to the "Retreat Cabin".  Will be embarking on a 700+ mile trip back to Florida this morning.

Have enjoyed multiple, productive meetings with our good friend, Stan Brock of Remote Area Medical (RAM) while up here in TN.

We know, it's just a matter of time, before the next disaster strikes and we want to be READY!

While the Little Donkey is down with the engine change, Stan assured me that a RAM aircraft will be available to Air Mobile.  THANK YOU, STAN!

On the Air Mobile Rescuer front, another meeting has been set with NASA for Monday afternoon.

We are just thrilled that NASA has expressed such interest in the remarkable Air Mobile Rescuer for possible utilization on-board the International Space Station (ISS) to provide a clean water "back-up system" for the Astronauts.  PRAISE GOD!!

There's a bit of sadness and joy going on this morning.  Sure do love this sweet little cabin in the mountains of East TN, but I'm overjoyed to be returning to Florida.  Have sure missed my Cindy and Ari...and little Andy.

Time to leave the "Mountain Air" for the "Ocean Air" as my good friend Steve Baran reminded me.

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support and especially for traveling mercy today as I hit the road for Florida.

WRAPPING UP....

Have a meeting with Stan Brock of Remote Area Medical (RAM) this morning in Knoxville.  We're making progress on the the "large(r)" aircraft for emergency deployments.

After the RAM meeting, will be doing a final securing of the "Retreat Cabin" and hitting the road for Florida on Thursday morning.

Sure do love it up here in the mountains of East TN, but... it'll be so good to be home with my Cindy, Ari & little Andy.  Have sure missed them!

Came across this verse this morning while reading Proverbs (18:22).

I'm so THANKFUL to our Lord for bringing Cindy into my life!  She is truly a treasure!

So, it's time to head over to Knoxville to meet Stan and continue our strategy & quest for a large(r) aircraft.

As always, THANK YOU joining us on this adventure with your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

A "SMOKEY" MORNING

There is something lovely about a cloud passing by.  That's why they're called the "Smokey Mountains".

Had a wonderful meeting with Will yesterday.  Our plans are to secure a large(r) aircraft for future missions.

Will is with an organization that has several large aircraft.

We're working closely with Remote Area Medical (RAM) and TOGETHER, we just may be able to secure the "use" of such an aircraft when the need arrives.

Tomorrow, I plan to return to RAM HQ for additional meetings with my good friend, Stan Brock.  Again, we have a long with to go on this noble project.  However, with God, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

In the meantime, we're working diligently on securing a replacement engine for the Little Donkey.  Right now, our biggest challenge is funding.  Again, we know that our Lord will provide.

The Little Donkey is a remarkable tool for getting us to "disasters" efficiently and quickly.  This has been proven again and again and again.

So, as I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

Just received a surprise call from Will.  He is working with Stan of Remote Area Medical (RAM) and Air Mobile on helping us secure a large(r) aircraft for future relief missions.

Will and his wife will be arriving at the cabin in the next few hours.  They're in this "neck of the woods" and asked if they could drop in.  Of course, my answer was yes.

So, it's time to go "tidy things up a bit".

BTW, had a wonderful visit with Stan of RAM yesterday.  The "road" to securing a larger aircraft is long and winding, but....we're on it!

It's time to go get ready for my guests.  THANK YOU, as always, for your prayer, love and support!!

HUMMERS IN THE VALLEY

Love those "Hummers".  They add so much to this mountain "Cabin Retreat".  What an aerodynamic marvel.  Our Lord must have truly enjoyed creating these "wonders".

Cindy and Ari will be heading back to Florida tomorrow.  I'll be staying on at the cabin for a few more days. Sure going to miss them!!

Am working on a number of projects including the pursuit of a replacement engine for the Little Donkey.  We're hot on the trail of that engine.

The recent violence and turmoil in Haiti was terrifying to a number of Mission Groups.

Here's more MISSIONARIES STUCK IN HAITI: "I 100% THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE"

PRAISE GOD that this group was protected and had no harm!

It is situations like that, that drives us to do all we can to get that engine replaced on the Little Donkey ASAP.  Over the years, we have made many "Rescue" flights getting folks out of harms way.

Again, I can't THANK YOU enough for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

"CLEAR PROP".....NOT YET

We're making progress on identifying the replacement engine for the Little Donkey.  Things are not finalized yet, but....will be soon.

We know that we know....that we know that full provision will be provided by our Lord to get this vital tool, the Little Donkey, back in the air.

THANK YOU for your prayers for wisdom and guidance!!!

Meanwhile, we're PRAYING for the situation in Haiti.  Still, the situation there is extremely dangerous.

Here is a report from a Mission Group that just returned to the U.S.

They are very fortunate to have made it home safely.  SOME LOCAL MISSIONARIES STUCK IN HAITI DURING RIOTS RETURN HOME

WE PRAY FOR PEACE & CALM TO PREVAIL!!!

Meanwhile, here at the "Cabin", chores and projects go on.  Will be chopping up firewood from some downed trees.  Love it!!

IN PURSUIT OF AN ENGINE....

As you may know, The "Little Donkey" is in need of an engine.  Our main challenge is identifying the replacement.  We have a number of options and we're looking for the best one.

We're asking our Lord for wisdom and....provision for this vital tool.  Until we get the engine, the Little Donkey is restricted to the barn (our hangar).

PLEASE join us in prayer that our Lord will lead us to the right engine and that all of the funding necessary will be provided.

We're monitoring the volatile situation in Haiti and know that a number of Mission Groups are stuck there until the violence subsides.

BACK AT THE CABIN & VIOLENCE ROCKS HAITI

We departed Abingdon, VA yesterday for the Retreat Cabin in the "Mountains of East TN".  Had an amazing time on the "Creeper Trail".  Love "coasting downhill".

Still can't get over the strange name (Creeper Trail), but the old Train creeping up the mountain explains it.

We're THANKFUL that, what was Hurricane Beryl is being "sheared" and rapidly diminishing in strength.

However, Haiti is experiencing another kind of storm racked with violence and protests.

Gasoline, Diesel & Kerosene prices shot up suddenly and dramatically (nearly 50%!).  The country is basically shut down due to violence.

The American Embassy is urging Americans to "Shelter-in-place" until calm can be restored.

Here's more on this tragic and volatile situation - HAITI PROTESTS CARRY ON DESPITE FUEL PRICE U-TURN; FLIGHTS CANCELLED

We pray for peace and calm and wisdom to prevail in Haiti.

THANK YOU, as always, for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

CREEPER HISTORY...

The "Creeper Trail" was once a railroad in the mountains of Virginia.  The old engine would just "creep" up the steep inclines.

Today, it is a 34 mile spectacular bike / walking trail where the tracks used to be.

We began our "Trek" in Abingdon, VA.  Wonder if "Dr. Who" is around.

We then took a shuttle bus up to the beginning of the trail at Whitetop, VA.

The first 17 miles was a "glorious down hill" run.  It's was so sweet to glide through the natural beauty and hardly touch the pedals.

Of course, we brought our little "Andy" and he absolutely loved the ride.

At the midway point, Ari, Andy and I waited for the shuttle bus and Cindy took on the next 17 miles with about 8 miles being uphill.

All I can say about the "Creeper Trail" is....I can hardly wait to do it again!!

We've been tracking Hurricane Beryl and it looks like a strong "Shearing" will bring this storm down.  We pray it does!!

Here's more on Hurricane Beryl - THE LATEST ON HURRICANE BERYL

Well, it's time to load up and depart Abingdon for the "Retreat Cabin".  What a lovely time we've had.

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

"ON THE CREEPER TRAIL"

This morning, Cindy, Ari and I will be taking the "Creeper Trail", a lovely bicycle ride through Virginia.

Most of the first half (17 miles), will be downhill (I like that).

That's where Ari and I will meet the shuttle back to Abingdon.

Cindy, however, will continue on  the second half of 17 miles all the back to Abingdon.  There's a lot of "uphill" on that segment. GO CINDY!

BTW, Abingdon, VA is an absolutely lovely town, rich in history and picturesque beauty.

All the while, we've been monitoring Hurricane Beryl in the Caribbean.

Forecasts call for it to dissipate this weekend due to strong upper level wind shear.  SHEAR AWAY!!

Here's more on Hurricane Beryl - NEWLY FORMED HURRICANE BERYL MAY NOT SURVIVE TRIP INTO THE CARIBBEAN

Well, it's time to "Hit the Creeper Trail".  THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

FREE TO ROAM &....ENJOY THAT CUP of "JOE"

While celebrating the 4th of July, I was speaking with Ariana about her U.S. Citizenship and the privileges it brings regarding global travel.

We're THANKFUL to live in America and have a passport that opens so many doors.

After adopting Ari from Haiti, it took us a while to get her U.S. Passport.  Now that she has this wonderful gift, she's able to join us on missions around the world.

Was reminded of how the Apostle Paul "used" his Roman Citizenship to get into and out of many difficult situations to Proclaim the GOOD NEWS of JESUS!!

His Roman Citizenship certainly opened many doors for Paul.  Yes, we're THANKFUL for America!!

Came across this article about how coffee can extend your life and just had to share it with you.  ENJOY THAT CUP OF COFFEE ("JOE")!!

COFFEE - LONGER LIFE LINKED - STUDY OF 500,000 PEOPLE SHOWS

Cindy, Ari and I will be driving to a quaint, historic town in Virginia for the next few days.  We're just chilling out and enjoying this 4th of July long weekend.

THANK YOU, as I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, for your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!

I love America!  This amazing country, though far from perfect, is a great place to live.

There are so many things for which to be thankful, but one of the most wonderful benefits of being an American is the ability to travel the world and help others, especially those in great need.

So, America, on your 242nd Birthday, may you be Blessed by God as never before!!!

And, may you, who travel down this road of life with me, be blessed on this wonderful day.  THANK YOU again for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

NEXT STOP:  R.A.M.

This morning, will be heading over to R.A.M. (Remote Area Medical) HQ to meet with my good friend, Stan Brock.

Some of you (the older ones) may remember Stan as the Co-Host of Mutual of Omaha's "Wild Kingdom".

RAM & Air Mobile have cooperated in relief efforts around the world.  It's always great to see Stan, who is, quite a legend and one of the greatest Humanitarians of our time.

Here is a bit more about Stan....

Stan Brock was born in Preston, Lancashire, England.  From 1952 to 1968, he managed the world’s largest cattle ranch operation, a 4,000-square mile combination of rainforest and savannah in British Guiana.
There, he became a pioneer bush pilot and subsequently acquired numerous ratings and certifications including airline transport pilot. It was during this time that his vision for Remote Area Medical® was born after he suffered a terrible horse-related injury while living among the Wapishana Indians and was 26 days away from the nearest medical care. He then vowed to bring medical care closer to the people who needed it.
In 1968, he began co-hosting NBC’s Emmy winning series, Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, one of the most watched television shows in the country, with more than 32 million weekly viewers.
In 1985, he founded Remote Area Medical – RAM™ and continues to serve, without compensation, as RAM’s Founder and President. Because of his work with RAM, Mr. Brock has been recognized as the pioneer of bringing free health care to people in need.  Today, thanks to RAM’s corps of 120,000 volunteers, RAM has treated close to 1 million women, men, and children providing a total of $120 million in free medical care.
Mr. Brock was instrumental in the passage of the Tennessee Volunteer Medical Services Act of 1995, which allows health professionals with out-of-state licenses to cross state lines and provide free care. He has been recognized as a CNN Hero in 2012, and most recently, in 2017, he joined the ranks of other prominent leaders like President Jimmy Carter and Mother Teresa when the Lions Club International Foundation recognized him with the Lions International Humanitarian Award.
RAM’s work has been covered by national and international news media including CBS 60 Minutes, NBC Nightline, New York Times, Washington Post, TIME Magazine, The Guardian, and The Times of London.

Stan and I will be discussing many things, but most urgent will be our need to possibly "borrow" an aircraft while the Little Donkey is getting the replacement engine.

BTW, we have concluded that overhauling the engine will not be our best course of action, as it will take quite a bit longer than simply securing an Overhauled engine.

We're currently speaking with Continental Motors about the availability of a "Zero Time Factory Overhauled Engine".  We're also PRAYING that Continental will give us an extremely good price!!

So, it's time to hit the road for Knoxville and see my good friend, Stan.

Oh, Ari, Cindy and I had a wonderful time at "Dollywood" yesterday.  The place is amazing and a lot of fun.

As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

WITH GOD....ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

Will be in deep discussions with a number of folks today as to how to best proceed to replace the rear engine on the Little Donkey.  We have a number of choices.

We know that our Lord will both lead us and provide for us.

Was just observing the remarkable "Humming Bird".  What an incredible "aviator" and what an INSPIRATION to the handiwork of our Lord!!

Here's a fascinating "expose" on this amazing little creature.  THE FLIGHT OF THE HUMMINGBIRD

Today, Cindy and Ari and I are going on an adventure.    We've heard that "Dollywood" is a great place.  Well, we're going to find out.

THANK YOU for your prayer, love and support on this critical issue!!

BACK TO THE "CABIN".... & THE LITTLE DONKEY NEEDS HELP

The 12 hour drive to the "Retreat Cabin" went smoothly, though a bit slow due to millions of Americans hitting the road for the 4th of July Holiday.

It was sweet to pull up to the cabin and be reunited with my Cindy and Ari. I missed them!!

While driving, our great mechanic Paul called me and informed me that the "hour has come" to change the rear engine on the Little Donkey.

The engine has reached the TBO (Time Before Overhaul). We knew this was coming, but I was hoping to get a few more flights before we needed to replace it.

BTW, that rear engine has been a GREAT ENGINE.  Extremely reliable and brought Air Mobile all over the Western Hemisphere (Haiti, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Peru and scores of other Islands).

But, the time has come to either replace the engine or Overhaul it.  We're discussing that decision now.

As you who meander down this "road of life" with us know, we rarely ask for money.  Today, I'm asking you to please pray about and consider helping us with this vital engine replacement.

As of the phone call from Paul,  the Little Donkey cannot fly again until the engine is replaced.

We're already into Hurricane Season and it's just a matter of time before we'll need to make a critical flight again.  PLEASE PRAY about helping us.

If you have any questions or would like to help, please e-mail me at:  airmobilejoe@gmail.com

THANK YOU, as always, for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!!
