ESCAPE....TO FLORIDA

Loaded up our Ford Escape & drove to Florida.

Arrived at our son, Peter's, Condo around 9:30pm.

Had a safe trip here.  THANKS for your prayer.

This morning, will be driving to Orlando and flying the Little Donkey back to Titusville.

THANK YOU, Troy of Orlando Aircraft Service (OAS), for finding and fixing the altimeter glitch.

BTW, OAS has done all of our avionics work since 1982!  These guys are the best!!

Will also be scheduling the CFI tests today.  It's time to take those tests!!

So, need to get on with this day and go pick up a Little Donkey.

As always, THANK YOU for your prayer, love and support!!

BACK TO FLORIDA....A LITTLE DONKEY AWAITS

Up early this morning and packing for Florida.

Got the word from Orlando Aircraft Services (OAS) that the Altimeter "glitch" was fixed.

The Little Donkey is....

READY FOR ACTION!!

Our plan is set up our Tennessee Hangar Base at Lee County Airport in Jonesville, VA.

BTW, it's very close to our "Retreat Cabin" (15 minutes).

While in Florida, I'll be meeting with my flight training team to prepare for our next step....the 2 Written Exams  Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) & Fundamentals of Instruction (FOI).

Once those are complete....& passed, will be ready for Check Ride (Practical Exam).

I've been here before, but just didn't quite get to that "Check Ride".

This time...with our Lord's help, will accomplish the GOAL and get my CFI rating!

So, time to complete the packing and make the coffee thermos and hit the road.

THANK YOU, as always, for your prayer, love and support.

A LITTLE DUCK HEAVEN & A SWEET VICTORY GARDEN

Just enjoying life here at the Retreat Cabin.

Love our ducks, protected by "Big Lou" the mallard.  He's a real "Character"!

Our Victory Garden is growing like crazy.  We're already getting lettuce and few other greens.

My Cindy has planned this garden and worked the soil and I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of my Proverbs 31 "Lady of God"!

Here's a list of the things she's planted....

Cucumber

Zucchini

Yellow Squash

Onions

Peppers (hot & sweet)

Sunflowers

Blueberries

Tomatoes

Radishes

Beets

Sweet Potatoes

Strawberries

Cantelope

Water Melon

Peas

Green Beans

Swiss chard

Arugula

Romaine Lettuce

Leaf Lettuce

Salad Mix

Winter Squash

Garlic

Malabar Spinach

Kale

Corn

Parsley

And in our fruit grove, we have Apples / Pears / Plums  / Peaches

Now Folks, should hard times hit, we're going to eat!!

TIME FOR TESTING....& THE LITTLE DONKEY "READY TO GO"!

Been studying for the Certified Flight Instructor Rating (CFI) & the Fundamentals of Instructing (FOI).

I've taken these tests before and passed them but...."timed out" before was able to take my Check Ride and complete the course.

This time....I'm going to finish it.  In the meantime, I've ENJOYED the study immensely.  This study is helping me to become a better pilot.

As I've said before, there is a difference (vast) between being "able to fly" and "teaching someone how to fly".

Having gone over all of the material, and taking multiple sample tests...it's getting time to schedule the real test and move forward.

It's been a joy setting up my TN office for flight training.

OK, must admit, I'm having a good time and just having fun with all this study of the "wonder of flight"!

And...GOOD NEWS on the Little Donkey!  Got a call from Troy Webb of Orlando Aircraft Services yesterday evening.

The Little Donkey is READY TO GO!  The Altimeter "glitch" has been repaired.

Will be heading back to Florida....sooner than later.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

PROVERBS 4....A TREASURE CHEST

Over my cup of coffee and Proverbs 4....Wisdom calls out to us.

It is such a gift from God and He wants to give us His Wisdom.

I know I sure need Him each step of the way!!

Thought I'd share Proverbs 4 with you today.  Here's the link to the KJV....I love it.

Take about 5 minutes and read it.  It will BLESS YOU!

 PROVERBS 4 KJV

Well, it's time to get to work here at the cabin.

As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

BIG LOU & A GENTLE RAIN

Cindy decided to have duck eggs over chicken eggs for now.  Oh, we may have a few chickens from time to time.

Our 4 ducks, protected by "Big Lou" (the beautiful Mallard), give us the most delicious and nutritious eggs every single day.

You know, when you have a small farm, as we do, we so appreciate a gentle rain.  It's so good for our crops.

BTW, we've expanded our crops to include blue berries, apples and peaches.  We can hardly wait.

Meanwhile, I'm awaiting word from Florida regarding the Little Donkey and the repair of our G-500 Altimeter.

I'll be heading back down there, sooner than later.

So, that gentle rain has become a nice ground soaker.  Not stopping Cindy, in the blue raincoat from preparing that last bed for planting.

She is definitely, my Proverbs 31 Lady of God!

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

2:15 AM....ROLLED UP TO THE "CABIN"

Yesterday, my good friend and pilot, Allen Tanguay and I delivered the Little Donkey to Orlando Aircraft Services (OAS).

The "diagnosis" of the Altimeter "Glitch", was a failed component in the G-500.  A replacement has been ordered.

So....loaded up the Ford Escape and headed up to Tennessee.

The highways were clear and smooth.  After traveling around the world on some pretty "wicked bad roads", I sure do appreciate the wonderful roads in America.

Still, the drive from FL to TN takes 11+ hours.  I rolled up to our sweet "Retreat Cabin" around 2:15 am.

GOOD TO BE HOME!!  Sure missed my sweet Cindy and Ari!!

As always, THANK YOU for rambling down this "Road of Life" with me!  So appreciate your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

A GLITCH....& A BIRTHDAY

On our flight from Haiti, we realized that one of the altimeters on the Little Donkey was not reading accurately.

This morning, will be flying to Orlando Aircraft Services to get the static system and all related instruments "calibrated".

Yesterday, I joined our son, Peter for his 24th birthday....he's grown taller and I've gotten shorter.  Such is life.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PETER!!

Well, it's time to go fly the Little Donkey to Orlando and get "calibrated".

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

MEMORIAL DAY....LET US REMEMBER - AIR MOBILE FROM HAITI THROUGH THE "TRIANGLE" TO THE U.S. TO.....GUMBO & CHESS WITH A VERY DEAR FRIEND

Today, we in America REMEMBER those who have fallen in the service of our wonderful country.

May we honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

Yesterday morning, was up early  and bid farewell to our wonderful  hosts, Matt, Anna and Barbara.

We headed to the airport in Port-au-Prince and fueled the Little Donkey.

Dave and I prayed for a safe journey home and took off for the U.S.

Scattered thunderstorms were forecast and we asked our Lord to give a clear path right through them.  He did!

BTW, our route home takes us right through the infamous "Bermuda Triangle"!

Here's a short vid from my little "Front Office" in the Ti Burik.

Love this amazing tool (nice panel) that our Lord has given to us to bring CLEAN WATER & HIS LOVE to a thirsty world.

After "dancing" between storms, we landed in Fort Pierce, cleared Customs and landed at our Florida Base.

Literally, minutes later, after we put the Little Donkey in the hangar, a violent thunderstorm hit the airport.

PRAISE GOD for a safe & successful mission.

Well, on the ground, I gave my good friend, Joe Polozola a call.  You may recall, that Joe introduced me to Jesus 50 years ago.

He told me that he made a delicious pot of genuine Louisiana Gumbo and invited to come on over.  I did!

We played Chess, as we used to do in High School and remembered those days BEFORE JESUS & AFTER JESUS!!

We played four games of chess.  The score:  2-2.

And....today is our son Peter's Birthday.  We'll have lunch today.  God is GOOD!!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

5-30-21 Sunday 5:59 AM (Haiti Time) - Air Mobile Base Camp - Haiti - Report submitted by Air Mobile Joe

ANOTHER "RESCUER" DEPLOYED &.... A FIRST RIDE

One of our goals on this "Mission to Haiti" was to train and deliver an Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier to a  team from a large Girls School in Port-au-Prince.

Sister Myrtha and her Techncian along with Father Calixte received the training and the Air Mobile Rescuer, thanks to some generous folks from the U.S.

Training them was a pure Joy.  They truly "got" the wonder and capability of the Rescuer.

This school has been in operation for over 150 years.  A real privilege to give them the ability to make CLEAN WATER!

It was an honor to present them with an Air Mobile Rescuer.

Earlier yesterday, Dave and I, along with Matt worked on my little Blue Motorcycle.

The gasoline had been left in it too long.  When we pulled the carburetor, it was pure varnish.  With some good cleaner and a lot of scraping, we completely rebuilt the carb.

During this process, Aleah, Matt and Anna's daughter made the statement...."I have never, ever ridden on a motorcycle".

Well, we'll see about that. With the parent's permission, I took Aleah for her very first, ever motorcycle ride.

Afterward, her little brother, Blake wanted a ride too.  Well, he got his first ride also.

It's good to have the Little Blue Motorcycle up and going.

So, on this beautiful Sunday morning in Haiti, we go forth into this adventure.

GOD IS GOOD....ALL THE TIME!!

As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

THE "NEXT MISSION".....HAITI

Dave and I completed loading the Little Donkey on Thursday evening.

We had critical supplies and equipment on-board.

Yesterday morning, we arrived at the airport and did the final load and top off the fuel for the long, over the water flight to Haiti.

We fired up the engines, pushed the throttles forward and climbed to 17,500'.

Ti Burik is flying like a dream. Oh, I've missed flying this sweet bird.  It's so good to be back in the cockpit!

5 hours and 2 minutes later, we landed in Port-au-Prince.  Our ground crew, many of whom I've known for nearly 40 years greeted us.

We unloaded the critical supplies.

I'm always amazed at what an incredible load this little airplane can carry.  And it carries it high and far.  GREAT GIFT!

With the last bit of load removed, again, I'm amazed at what a wonderful gift this is.

THE DONKEY'S BACK!!

We made the journey from the airport to the "Mission" without incident.  We NEVER take that for granted, as road ambushes and robberies are VERY common.

It was a long day and so THANKFUL for the success of the this phase of our mission.  GOD IS GOOD!!

Today, we'll be working in Joe's Depot servicing and repairing Air Mobile Rescuers....to keep the CLEAN WATER flowing!

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

Sincerely:

A PLEASANT SURPRISE....

Dave and I were at the hangar preparing for the TN move and our "Next Mission" when my daughter, Cherie and her 4 kids drove up.

Oh, the JOY of grandkids.

Loved answering all the questions about the Little Donkey and just seeing them growing up.

THANK YOU, CHERIE for coming by!!

Meanwhile, Dave, Yahn and I are planning the strategy for the move.  It's so important to be ready for this upcoming Hurricane Season.

So, today, we'll be back at it and getting ready for "The Next Mission".

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

TI BURIK....READY TO GO!

After several successful test flights the Little Donkey (Ti Burik) is cleared for ACTION!  Praise God!

Yesterday, I met Tom Miller, Retired Southwest Captain, who has shown a lot of interest in bringing clean water to thirsty people.  He will be a great Water Mule!

Dave Walen (a Great Water Mule), Tom and I flew the Little Donkey to Orlando (Orlando Aircraft Services) to get a full update of our Avionics Package.

Troy Webb, the Owner of OAS, spent the entire day getting all of our Data "Current" and at the end of the day, did not charge a dime.  THANK YOU Troy and OAS!!

Today, we'll be getting the Air Mobile Rescuer Assembly Plant ready for the re-position to Tennessee.

Time to get on with this day that our Lord has made!  THANK YOU, as always, for your prayer, love and support!!

BACK IN FLORIDA.....TIME TO "TEST FLY" TI BURIK

Made the 11 hour trip from Tennessee to Florida without a hitch.  THANK GOD for good roads and Traveling Mercy!

My good friend, and fellow pilot, Dave Walen will be joining me on these Test Flights.

Dave has flown for Air Mobile all over the world and...he's a great WATER MULE!!

Paul, our mechanic has completed several Inspection Phases and it's always a good idea to make multiple local flights before "launching a mission" over the ocean.

Besides, I just love to fly!!

Time to head to the airport and go see a Little Donkey!

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!

PUPPY REPORT! &...ON THE ROAD

Our prayers & care worked!  I found out that Ariana had named our "littlest" puppy, Lafayette.

And...Lafayette is doing great.  The Vet had us make up a good home mixture of milk, Karo syrup and duck yokes.

That simple concoction gave Lafayette the strength to "latch on"!

Now, Lafayette is eating from Mommy with style.  PRAISE GOD!

Today, I'm "On The Road" to Florida to oversee the moving of the Air Mobile Assembly Plant up to Tennessee.

Timing is critical as we approach Hurricane Season.  Experts are projecting a very active "Season" and we want to be ready!

We'll also take thee Little Donkey up for a series of test flights to be sure this vital tool is "READY FOR ACTION".

Well, it's time to finish packing and hit the road for the 11 hour journey from Tennessee to Florida....and Beyond!

One of our 6 puppies is having a hard time.  The blog is late because I've been working with the vet to see this little guy through.

Please PRAY that he "latches" on to Mommy and gets the nourishment he needs.

Cindy will be back later today.  She had to make a quick flight to Massachusetts to see her Mom.

THANKS for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

*PUPPY UPDATE

Our little puppy, Burr, was very weak this morning and unable to nurse.

With a lot of prayer, advice from our vet and help from our friend Darrel (very knowledgeable medically), little Burr is latching on and beginning to nurse.  PRAISE GOD!

Now, I know, according to the Word of God, "His eye is on the sparrow" and I know he's watching little puppies too.

Little Burr is not out of the woods yet, but he's making great progress.  THANK YOU again for your prayer, love and support!!

EXTRAORDINARILY ACTIVE HURRICANE SEASON.... COMING!

NOAA predicts another extremely busy Hurricane Season & NOW is the time to PREPARE!  Here's more -

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) predicts another active hurricane season in the Atlantic — the sixth unusually active season in a row. The season is poised for extraordinarily high levels of activity.

"Now is the time for communities along the coastline as well as inland to get prepared for the dangers that hurricanes can bring. The experts at NOAA are poised to deliver life-saving early warnings and forecasts to communities, which will also help minimize the economic impacts of storms," said Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo.

Here's the "Rest Of The Story" - EXPERTS PREDICT ANOTHER UNUSUALLY ACTIVE HURRICANE SEASON

Air Mobile is getting ready for what might lie ahead.  We're building up our inventory of Air Mobile Rescuers so that we can provide CLEAN WATER when DISASTER strikes.

We're also moving our Assembly Plant to Tennessee....far inland and away from our vulnerable coastal location.

We PRAY for our Lord's provision and wisdom to be READY for what might lie ahead.

Yesterday evening, my good friend, Chuck Fullmer drove his RV up from Florida to spend a little time with us discussing an exploratory mission to Israel.

I've always wanted to go to the "Land of the Bible" and it just may happen sooner than later.  May our Lord's will be done.

I'd like to show our neat little "Flite Dept." in our "Tiny Cabin".

Love spending time in there training and working on keeping those flying skills "sharp" for the "missions" ahead.

Going to be a lovely day, here in the Mountains of East TN.  THANK YOU, LORD!!

While waiting for Chuck to arrive here yesterday evening, captured this lovely sunset.  Thought I'd share it with you.

I find myself simply "listening" for our Lord's Counsel as "Deep Water" for understanding and direction. (Proverbs 20:5).

Oh, there are many places that we could GO, but we want to GO where HE wants us to GO.... when HE wants us to GO there!

All I can say this morning is that we are "getting ready" and will deploy as our Lord directs.

And, in the meantime, there's plenty of work to be done on the home front here at the "Retreat Cabin".

Folks, we want you to know just how much we appreciate your invaluable prayer, love and support!!  THANK YOU!!

We ministered together as Chaplains at the Hospital in Florida with the Menendez Family for many years.  We LOVE these guys!!

You know, sitting here at the Cabin, with an easy schedule and good friends is just pure joy.

And.... A JOYFUL HEART IS GOOD MEDICINE!!

CAUGHT.....BY THE "YARD ENFORCER"

Protecting your garden is a very important element to success.

Last year, we used several "Yard Enforcers" to keep the hungry critters out of our sweet, succulent little seedlings.

Yesterday, I put in a couple of "sentinels".

Here I am, getting "Caught(!!)" by the vigilant eye of our Yard Enforcers.

What a "Humane Way...to Keep the Critters Away" &.... giving our Victory Garden a little water at the same time.

Folks, it's a good idea to be able to grow your own food.  Even doing a little bit to supplement your supply is a good practice.

The more we learn about how to successfully do this, the better!

May we encourage you to consider putting in your own Victory Garden.  You'll be glad you did.

Well, it's time to get ready for Church this morning.  As I say every day and mean with all of my heart...THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

WHAT IS A "YARD ENFORCER"???

Those who ramble down this "Road of Life" with us may recall our "Victory Garden" from last year.

It was a wonderful, surprising success and gave us a lot of healthful food!

Well, one of the reasons was our "Yard Enforcers" to chase the critters away from our succulent, delicious harvests.

Here's more on this wonderful, "humane" tool to chase the critters away.  Folks, these things really work!!

So, today, we're on our "Home Mission" of growing our own food.  A good idea during these "uncertain" times.

A "LITTLE HELP" FROM  FRIENDS....

Dennis and Barbara West are dear friends and GREAT "Water Mules".

They have stood so faithfully with us for many years helping us tackle problems and go around the world bringing CLEAN WATER to the thirsty.

Well, Barbara could see that I needed help with Quick Books (yesterday's blog) and she helped me get completely caught up with our Air Mobile Donation Receipt Letters.

Dennis could see that I needed help bringing order back to my little "Maintenance Garage" where I maintain our farm equipment.

His answer....SHELVES!  Dennis spent a couple of days turning wasted "wall space" into useful Shelf Space.

THANK YOU DENNIS & BARBARA!!

I often wonder....where would we be without our friends and especially our "Friends in Christ"?

Surely & truly, "Our Lord knows how to deploy His troops"!  I'm so THANKFUL that Jesus brought Dennis & Barbara into our lives!!

STUDY....MAIL....PLANT

Today, at the Retreat Cabin, it's back to the "Books" on Aeronautics.

For the last few days, I've been working to "crack the code" to merge Air Mobile Donors with "Thank You" donation letter in Quick Books.

One would think that this would be relatively easy.  Well, it's not (at least for me).

I'm pleased to say, that with the help of Barbara West, who did our books for years, we did it yesterday!!

Today, we'll be mailing out ALL of the donation letters.  THANK YOU BARB!

Meanwhile, my "Proverbs 31 Cindy" has been studying the weather and we hope that we've had the final freeze.

And she's been preparing little seedlings and our soil for planting in our Spring Victory Garden.

Folks, believe me, it's a wonderful thing to grow one's own food!!

And....it looks like a "Mission" is brewing.  Too early to give the details, but we're 'GEARING UP' for what might lie ahead.

Well, time to pour that second cup and continue on with Studying the "Fundamentals of Instructing" (FOI).

As is usually the case, Storms destroy CLEAN WATER sources.

CLEAN WATER is a NON-NEGOTIABLE!

We're keeping an eye on the Tropics and we'll be ready.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be setting up manufacturing for the Rescuer here in Tennessee.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

I THANK GOD for my Proverbs 31 Lady of God!  I love you Cindy!

You are an amazing mother and a great wife.

I'm so THANKFUL that our Lord has brought you into my life!  May you be BLESSED today!

One thing is for sure....all of us have a mother.

And, may all of us, honor and remember our mothers on this special day.

Again....

"WITTY INVENTIONS...."

Was just sitting here, pondering our remarkable water purifier and an idea came to me to make it better.

Oh, it just involves 2 little arrows strategically placed to mark a critical alignment.

Then, in reading Proverbs 8:12 this morning, I came to this verse.

THANK YOU, LORD for giving wisdom, knowledge & "witty inventions".

I immediately wrote Yahn, a great "Water Mule", and a pretty creative guy, and suggested he find a good way to place those alignment arrows.

So, this morning, while sitting here, pondering Proverbs 8 a good idea came to me, from our Lord, to help making CLEAN WATER better  & a bit easier.

THANK YOU JESUS!!

BTW, the Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier is a very, very WITTY INVENTION itself.

Our good friend, Rolf Engelhard, invented the main module that makes the unit so unique and powerful.

Rolf, who is a dedicated Believer in Jesus, gives God all the Glory for giving him this amazing tool.

By God's AMAZING GRACE, we have been able to place nearly 1400 units in 47 countries.  That has brought a lot of CLEAN WATER to the THIRSTY.

Here's a power-point that shows just how remarkable the "Rescuer" is.  Check it out -  AIR MOBILE RESCUER POWER POINT

And....we've only just begun!  May our Lord continue to give WITTY INVENTIONS!!

Meanwhile, we're getting ready for HURRICANE SEASON, that will soon be upon us.

We're getting as many Air Mobile Rescuers ready as we can, knowing that they will save lives.

So, on this "creative, witty morning", THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

DUCKS & PEAS & OLD LAWN TRACTORS

Our ducks LOVE frozen peas!!  From time to time, we just give them their favorite treat.

One of my favorite past times is....keeping our old lawn tractors going.

Oh, we could have gone out and bought a new, fancy one but...I just love tinkering with them and keeping "em running".

That's why we have 3 of them.

Ari is learning to drive (being 16 now) and driving the little lawn tractors is good training for her.

Just another sweet day at the "Retreat Cabin".

THANK YOU for your meandering down this road of life with us.  We so appreciate your precious prayer, love and support!!

A LOVELY DAY..... IN THE "SMOKEYS"

Gazing out over our valley, I'm simply overwhelmed with the beauty and peace here at the "Retreat Cabin".

The presence of Jesus is everywhere!

Nothing special going on today.  Will continue studying aeronautics and enjoying the fact that I can walk without pain.

The plan today is....drink coffee, study, have a little more coffee, study some more and so forth and so on.

Going to be a sunny, warm day.  Later today, will take our little lawn tractor out and mow a couple of fields.....after things dry out.

We're seeing SPRING everywhere.  Getting close to planting time.  Hope we don't have a late freeze.

So, on this lovely day, life goes on and we're just savoring it until....our "Next Mission".  It will come soon enough.

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!

THANKFUL....

Both Ariana and I have tested Negative for COVID-19 and for that, we're THANKFUL.

Ari was able to go back to school today following yesterday's negative COVID-19 test.

I'm also exceptionally THANKFUL for that shot of Cortisone in my knee.

I'm not kidding, that shot gave me INSTANT RELIEF!

Those bone spurs gave "wicked pain".  The cortisone calmed that right down....as did our PRAYERS!!

THANK YOU again for your PRAYERS!!

I'm both THANKFUL to our Lord for giving His Wisdom and for the good medical knowledge given to my doctor to help me to walk again without excruciating pain!

Next order is how to help my knee(s) NOT to get into this position again.  We're working on that.

MEANWHILE......

GOD IS GOOD...ALL THE TIME!!!

....THAT'S ALL I CAN SAY!

So, today, here at the "Retreat Cabin", just studying for the upcoming CFI  "Knowledge" and the "Fundamentals of Instructing" (FOI) tests.

I do love "drilling deep" into aeronautics and why and how airplanes fly!

THANK YOU again for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

A LITTLE LOW ON CARITLIDGE & A COUPLE OF "BONE SPURS" TO BOOT....

Cindy had to bring our son, Peter, to the airport, in Knoxville yesterday.

It was a blessing having Peter here for Ariana's 16 birthday party.

BTW, Peter made it back to Florida safe and sound.

THANK YOU ALLEGIANT AIRLINES!

Well, my good friend and Brother-in-Christ, Dennis West, offered to take me  to the to Doctor.

There, the X-Rays revealed that I was VERY low on cartilage in my knee (bone against bone) and a very painful couple of "BONE SPURS" shooting excruciating pain with every step...OUCH!

Apparently, that "paver slide" down the steps aggravated my knee and brought forth the reason for the pain.

After an injection of cortisone, I experienced instant relief.  PRAISE GOD & THANK YOU for your PRAYERS!!

Now, with a little physical therapy, that old knee should do it's job of helping me to get around better.

Cindy and I prayed and asked our Lord for WISDOM....and a GOOD DOCTOR & HEALING.  Our Lord graciously provided!!!

So, on this blustery, stormy morning, here in the mountains of East TN, we're just riding out this storm in our cozy "Retreat Cabin".

I'm enjoying a good cup of Community Coffee and an in-depth study toward getting my CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) rating.

So, as I say every single day and truly mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!

A PRAYER FOR WISDOM & HEALING!

Recently, while coming down our stairs off the porch, the bottom paver gave way and I went down....twisting my knee (ouch)!

I've endeavored to "rest" it, but the pain has gotten worse, not better.

I'll be going into see my doctor this morning and get an X-Ray to see what's going on.

Of course,  Cindy and I are praying for  complete HEALING & WISDOM.

We're standing on Proverbs 3....TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL OUR HEART...

Please join together with us in PRAYER & WISDOM!  As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARI!!

Oh, the day was absolutely perfect for Ariana's 16th Birthday!

Before the party began, here is the lovely cake that Cindy baked with a quick scan of our setting.

Friends and family arrived to celebrate this wonderful day.

Peter flew in for the Party.  So good seeing him!!

The girls had to spend some time with the horses, Ti Gato and Sparrow.

We kept the grill going and had lots of delicious food.

I was the designated "Grill Master"...AKA - JOE KABOB!

Ari was showered with lovely gifts.  What a day!!

Just had to share this glorious day and celebration of an amazing young lady.

LOVE YOU ARI!!~!

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

"NEGATIVE TESTS" & A CELEBRATION FOR ARI

Ariana and I both went and got COVID-19 tests and....both came back Negative!

Love that kind of "Negative Report"!!

Today, we'll be having a little "get together" to Celebrate Ari's 16th Birthday!

Her actual Birthday is May 2nd, but we'll take advantage of this beautiful Saturday for our little party here at the "Retreat Cabin".

Cindy and I are so proud of Ari and THANK GOD everyday for giving us this wonderful gift.

She is an Honor Student, a gifted author and has a very sweet and compassionate heart for others.
