HOME!

Yesterday afternoon, Cindy and I rolled up to our "Retreat Cabin" after our wonderful get-away to England.

Our horses, donkeys, ducks, dogs & cats are thrilled to have us home, as are we.

What pleasant memories we have of England.

Time to get back to Air Mobile business & chores.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support

HEADING HOME... FROM AN EPIC ADVENTURE...

Yesterday began at 2:30AM GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) in London.

We made the hour drive from Blackheath to Heathrow.  Found 4 empty seats on Jet Blue, PRAISE GOD!

Got our 4 hours back (TIME DIFFERENCE) and landed in Boston right on time.

In Boston, we found 4 more empty Jet Blue seats and landed in Orlando at 4:00PM.

BTW, THANK YOU JET BLUE &  CAPTAIN CRISS for the BUDDY PASSES & EXCELLENT SERVICE!!

There our good friend Lisa Menendez met us and took this shot.

Remember, a week ago, Lisa & April dropped us at this very airport to begin this epic adventure. THANK YOU LISA!

We then dropped Ari off (she's staying in FL with friends) and Cindy & I hit the road to our beloved "Retreat Cabin".

We made it to Brunswick, GA where exhaustion & jet lag collided.  Found a comfortable bed & collapsed.  it was a long day!

Up early and about to hit the road for the remaining 8 hours to home.

THANK YOU for joining us on this epic Adventure!

TIME TO HEAD HOME...

After a SPECTACULAR visit to England, we must head home.

We're flying Stand-By and we hope to board our Jet Blue flight at 7:25 AM if....there are 4 seats available.  We'll see.

Oh, we have so many wonderful memories on this glorious Adventure.

Yesterday, Peter and I boarded the Cutty Sark and saw this amazing ship from end to end.

At one time, it was the fastest ship in the world!

While we were on-board, Cindy and Ari explored (shopped) in the Village of Blackheath.

Then it was off to Westminster Abby.

Once inside...Oh What can I say!

After our whirlwind stroll through such beauty and history, it was time to say goodby to Big Ben and the rest of downtown London.

So, here on this very early Tuesday morning, we're packing up and heading to Heathrow looking & praying for 4 empty Jet Blue seats.

Yes, the Adventure continues and THANK YOU for joining us!!

BIG OLD STONES....

The "mystery" of  Stonehenge only deepened for us yesterday.

After the beautiful 2 hour drive out of London and through the lovely English countryside, we found ourselves at STONEHENGE.

After browsing through the expansive Visitor Center and scanning the many theories of who & when this absolutely incredible structure was built, we headed out to see it up close and personal.

It's difficult to draw any real conclusions on Stonehenge, other than to say, "It is a MYSTERY".  We can now say...we have seen it.

Our plans to go see "BATH" have to be postponed for another trek to England, as we simply ran out of time.

On another note, I've always admired the sleek, fast, beautiful Clipper ship "Cutty Sark".

Little did we know that only 1.8 miles away from us at the Clarendon Hotel is the "Cutty Sark Museum".  That's where we're going this morning.

Peter and I will board this historic, amazing ship while Cindy and Ari  will shop in the quaint Village of Blackheath.

THANK YOU again for your joining us on this grand adventure.

RIDING THE "EYE" OVER LONDON...WHAT A VIEW

We arrived at the "Eye" and because of the little blue scooter, had a very short wait for an incredible ride over London.

I must admit, one of the greatest "rides" I've ever experienced &...it took 30 minutes.

From the "Eye" experience, it was a short Uber ride to the famous Madame Tussaud Wax Museum.

There we were greeted by King Charles & the Royal Family...not really.

Now, if you've never experienced a Madame Tussaud Wax Museum, I strongly recommend it.

You never know who you'll run into.

While zig-zagging my little Blue Scooter through the Museum, I had to dodge these guys.

We didn't realize just how large Shrek actually is.

From Madame Tussaud's Museum, we Uber-ed our way back to the lovely Clarenden Hotel in the Village of  Blackheath just in time for "Afternoon Tea".

Another wonderful "English Experience".

So, what do we have planned for today?

STONEHENGE & BATH!

THANK YOU for meandering down this lovely vacation road with us.

"STORMING" THE CASTLE....NOT REALLY

We departed the "Village" of Black Heath for Windsor Castle via a few busses & an Uber.

We arrived in the late afternoon and managed to see amazing views & a lovely tour inside.  No photography allowed inside.

The expansive grounds and pristine gardens gave us plenty of lovely photos outside.

After our whirlwind Tour of Windsor Castle we sought out place to eat that mainly catered to locals.

We went off the tourist route and found Fullers, Established in 1845.

The meal was awesome and the atmosphere Classic English.

We worked our way back to Blackheath and a good night of sleep.

Today...THE EYE and the Adventure continues.

THANK YOU for joining us on this Adventure!

IN A LITTLE VILLAGE

Cindy found a lovely Hotel (The Clarenden) in a small village (Blackheath) just outside of London.

Classic English Pubs and Old Churches.

Today, we're going to Buckingham Palace.

We're truly enjoying out little get-away in Old England.

THANK YOU for joining on this little Adventure and for your precious prayer, love and support!!

WE MADE IT TO LONDON!

Well, it was a nail-biter, as we saw the boarding area clear out.  Then, the Jet Blue personnel called  "The Hurston's".

We breathed a giant sigh of relief and boarded the Jet Blue A321 "flew all night and landed at Gatwick right on time.

After the "all-nighter" we picked up our rental and checked into our hotel a bit early and....lying down to rest a wee bit.

THANK YOU again Captain Criss and Jet Blue!

And THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

THE BEST LAID PLANS.....OFT TIMES.... "CHANGE"!

Yesterday morning, around 3:00 AM, Lisa and April Menendez brought brought us to Orlando International (MCO).

We were early for our 7:00 AM flight.  So far, so good.  We arrived at the Departure Gate all ready to fly to Boston and then to London.

Well, in flying on a "Buddy Pass", one must wait until ALL regular  passengers have boarded and then...we anxiously wait to hear our name.

The Jet Blue Gate Personnel were courteous, but...they said there was only 1 seat left on this flight.  We quickly agreed for Cindy to take that seat to Boston and we would follow on the next flight....maybe.

Again, the same routine, and this time, there was only 1 Seat left.  We put Ariana on that flight to Boston leaving Peter and I in Orlando.

Fortunately, Jet Blue has multiple flights to Boston.  So, on the next flight, Peter and I heard our name and we were the last 2 passengers to board that flight to Boston.

In the meantime, our Flight to London left without us.  But, we were now all in Boston.

We worked with the Jet Blue crew who successfully "rolled" us over to the Flight to London later today.  THANK YOU JET BLUE!...

Now, we can say...ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD ....(Romans 8:28) because today is PETER'S BIRTHDAY and we're celebrating it in Boston and then, if all goes as planned, we'll board the flight to London this evening.

Thus, THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES!!

We're heading out to enjoy Boston today and remembering so well the day that Peter was born 26 years ago.

BTW, he almost died on that day and our Lord saw fit for us have Peter, PRAISE GOD!!

THANK YOU, as I say everyday, for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

CATCHING A VERY EARLY FLIGHT....MAYBE

Cindy, Ari and I arrived into Florida yesterday afternoon.

There, we met Peter at Sonny's Bar B Q...mmm.  Love that place.

We "crashed" (not literally) on Peter's sofas.  This morning, our dear friends Lisa and April Menendez are driving us to the Orlando International Airport.

There we'll catch a Jet Blue 7:00 AM flight to Boston...if we have seats (we'll be flying Stand-By the whole way to London).

So, the "Adventure" continues.

BTW, we have seriously good friends in the Menendez's to be up all night to drive us to the airport for this very early flight.

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!

FLORIDA BOUND....

Cindy, Ari and I hit the road for Florida yesterday.  About half-way there (somewhere in South Carolina), we pulled into a Hampton Inn for the evening.

We've determined to make this little get-away non-rush with plenty of time to get there.

We're looking forward to an easy-going, fun week.  Our next challenge tomorrow will be securing seats on the flight to JFK and then to Heathrow.

Flying on "Buddy Passes" (Stand-By)  is an adventure in & all of itself.

So, time to pack up and continue on down to Florida.

As always, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

WILL JOE FLY??

Yes, we did.  Will & I did fly yesterday.

We just did beat out the rain. We met at Morristown Airport (KMOR).  There, we did a thorough pre-flight on N20891, a sweet little Cessna 172.

It was a privilege to bring Will Fugate up for his first ride in a "little plane" and he did great!

Now that Will has this experience under his belt, he can go on for more flight training, or put it away for another day.

Will is a member of our Church and loves the Lord Jesus.

Well, Cindy, Ari and I are embarking on another "Adventure" today.

We're heading down to Florida, where we'll meet Peter.  Then, Thanks to Captain Criss of Jet Blue and some Buddy passes, we'll board a flight for Lodon.

There, if all goes as planned (flying on Buddy Passes, is always an Adventure), we'll spend a week in lovely England.

Cindy and I both agreed it would be nice to have this grand little adventure before our surgeries (my knee & Cindy's shoulder).

So, we're packing up and heading to Florida.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

DODGING A LITTLE RAIN

Later today, I'll take Will Fugate up in little Cessna 172 (N20891) for a demonstration flight.

Will has expressed a keen interest in becoming a pilot and I'm blessed to be able to take him up on his first "small airplane" flight.

We tried to do this several weeks ago, but had a scheduling conflict with the aircraft.

So, today, if the weather cooperates, Will and I......  WILL FLY!

Meanwhile, Cindy, Ari, Peter & I are planning a sweet little get-away thanks to Jet Blue.  Will tell you more about it in the next few days.

As I say every single day, and truly mean with all my heart...THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

IN EVERY THING GIVE THANKS....

Have been getting certain Medical Tests done while back here at the "Retreat Cabin".

The results show that it's time to get my right knee replaced.  OK, we'll do that on June 22nd.

We've been tracking this situation of prostate cancer with close surveillance for several years.

The recent biopsy indicates that the prostate should be removed.  I'll be scheduling surgery for that in the near future.

First of all, I've laid this burden down at the feet of Jesus since day one.  I have absolute trust in our Lord Jesus to lead and guide each step of the way.

Next, I'm very THANKFUL for excellent medical care.  We have an incredible Medical Team.

I'm also EXTREMELY THANKFUL to have YOUR prayer, love and support.

During the time that I'm down during recovery, Air Mobile will continue to move forward.

I PRAISE GOD for so many "Water Mules" who have joined me on many missions around the world.

They can and will do wonderful work for our Lord Jesus while I am recovering.

So, on this Friday morning, as I share this news with you, my heart is lifted up knowing that you are standing with me!!  THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Sincerely:

SEIZING THE MOMENT....TO REST & PLAN

While here at the "Retreat Cabin", we have good opportunities to both REST & PLAN.

We are currently PRAYING about where the "Next Mission" will be.

With our Lord's help & in His Time, we will return to Haiti with more critical medical supplies for the desperately needed Trauma Center.

Likewise, we plan to return to Ukraine with more Air Mobile Rescuers, all in due time.

All the while, Yahn Gray, our Chief Water Mule, is building "Rescuers" as  funds permit.

In between all of this, I have surgery scheduled  for a full knee replacement on June 22nd.

So, life goes on here at the wonderful "Retreat Cabin" where we're able to REST & PLAN &, as always....do the CHORES.

THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

A PLACE TO RUN TO....

Living in this beautiful valley is a blessing.  However, in the event of a tornado or some other disaster, we don't have a safe place to run to.

Now that we are adding a bedroom, it is the perfect time to dig a basement.  So, here we are, increasing our square footage & our safety.

Well, our 5 baby ducks survived their first night out of our tub.

We're moving forward with our little duck kingdom.

Folks, I truly appreciate your faithful prayer, love and support!!

ENJOYING THE MOMENT....

It is a good thing to simply savor this time here at the "Retreat Cabin".

In between our usual chores, Cindy and I love to squeeze in a game or two of Rummy.  It's very therapeutic.

Then....there are the baby ducks.  Today, these 5 babies are moved from our bathtub to their own little duck house.  Such a pleasure just watching them.

As I say every single day, and mean with all of my heart....THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!

GOING ABOUT THE DAY....

Nothing special about today.  Will go buy a cement mixer and schedule an aircraft for this weekend.

Yahn and I will put a liner in our new duck pond (to help hold the water).

Our next mission will come soon enough.  For now, I'm just enjoying the beauty and peace here at the "Retreat Cabin".

Of course, there are challenging times in writing this ever rambling blog....like Christmas, our cat, who insists on walking on the keyboard.

A DAY AT THE PARK....

Cindy, Ari and I drove over to lovely Chilowee Park in Knoxville to celebrate "Water Lantern Festival".

Though it rained off & on, the music and overall sweet atmosphere was a wonderful way to spend Saturday evening.

At the end of the day, all of the Lanterns were launched.

BTW, Cindy had the opportunity
to speak and her prayer was "Come Quickly Lord Jesus".

So, on this lovely Sunday morning, we're heading to Church.

We're ever THANKFUL for the FREEDOM to WORSHIP!!  May we never take it for granted.

THANK YOU, for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

DUCK EXPANSION PLANS....

We plan to expand our duck haven.  We're now working on a lovely duck pond.

Today, we're driving over to Oak Ridge (near Knoxville) to meet with Ed, a pond expert.  He'll be showing us how to have a waterfall / filtration system.

Our ducks give us delicious eggs and overall, are just a lot of fun.

Now, we have 5 more baby ducks to bring into the flock.

So, in between our next international mission, we're just enjoying life here at the "Retreat Cabin".

GOD IS SO GOOD!!

FINALLY RE-CONNECTED!!

Oh, what a relief and joy to be RE-CONNECTED to the Internet!

Now, during this time of LIMITED internet here at the "Retreat Cabin", we've been able to find tiny spots where there are microscopic  bits of internet.  Good to know where these spots are.

Meanwhile, back at the "Retreat Cabin", all I can say is...."It's good to be home".

There are always chores to be done and ministry correspondence and...just being able to sit on our front porch and rock and relax.

PRAISE GOD!

DRIVING FOR A "SIGNAL"....

As we await our internet provider to show up and repair our fiber optic cable....we drive to a strong signal.

Just so happens we've got that comfortable spot..."The Gathering Place" and excellent coffee to boot.  Thankful for this peaceful refuge.

Just came across this in-depth article on Haiti.  From my recent flight into Haiti, this article captures quite well the terrible situation in Haiti.

Here it is:  HAITIANS FIGHT BACK AGAINST GANGS, DRAWING SUPPORT &...WORRY

Folks, the situation in Haiti is just heart-breaking!  WE PRAY!!!

I'm THANKFUL that you and I can do something to help.  Our recent flight to Haiti in Ti-Burik (The Little Donkey) brought in a plane-load of critical medical supplies for the new Trauma Center.

Somehow, I feel that we'll be back with more supplies....sooner than later.

Folks, I want you to know just how much I appreciate your faithful prayer, love and support!!

A BIG HOLE....

As sweet as our Little Retreat Cabin is, there's no basement or emergency shelter as in a place to run to as in a tornado or bad storm.

So...Cindy and I chose this time to dig a big hole and...as a bonus, get a large bedroom.

Our good friend Rich is heading up this project.  We called our other neighbor, Robert, who has an excavator to do the "dig".

It was during the dig, that we "nipped" our fiber optic internet cable.

We had Point Broadband, our Internet Provider, come and asses the situation.

Today, if all goes well, they will trench a line and we'll safely bury the precious fiber optic cable.

Now, at the "Retreat Cabin", we have MICROSCOPIC cell signal.

This means that we have drive over the mountain to Sneedville and capture a good signal.

Have a cool place to come called "The Gathering Place", a fine place to wait.  These Folks love the Lord and PRAY for Air Mobile.

So, we'll enjoy a good cup of coffee and enjoy the moment.

As always, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

CRUSHED....

Cindy and I decided to expand our little "Retreat Cabin".  We'd also add a small basement and run-in shelter.

What we didn't count on was....the dump truck CRUSHING our fiber optic cable.

So....we've lost our internet until....we can lay new fiber.

Now, this means that to get a signal in order to write this wandering daily blog, I have to go to the booming metropolis of Sneedville to get a signal.

Thus, the Blog is running a bit late this morning.

Yesterday, my sweet Cindy drove me to Nashville (250 miles away) for me to get a rather painful, but very necessary biopsy.

CINDY DRIVES JOE

It went well, and yes, does hurt a bit.  Then Cindy drove me 250 miles again to our our Retreat Cabin.  It was a long 10 hour driving day.

I can't begin to tell you how glad I am to be home!

So glad all of the scheduling has worked out.

STUCK & RELEASED..."All things work together for the good...Romans 8:28

I flew from Port-au-Prince, Haiti (MTPP) to Barahona, Dominican Republic (MDBH) on Friday.

The mission was to scout out the route and procedures for future flights & especially for Emergency Evacuations.

Upon landing the airport personnel at Barahona were courteous & helpful.  However... when they asked when I planned to depart, I told them on Saturday.

They then told me it is NOT POSSIBLE as the Airport is CLOSED  on Saturday & Sunday.

The only way to fly out on Saturday was with the Director of IDAC's (Director of Navigation Civil) PERSONAL APPROVAL.

You see, it is vital that I get that APPROVAL as I have a scheduled medical procedure in Nashville on Monday.

Thus began the effort to get that Written Authorization.

Here's more on the situation.

I even spent a few hours in the Barahona Control Tower with the ATC Controllers.  Very nice folks!

During this waiting time, I spoke with multiple officials, who were all very kind and helpful.

Meanwhile the typical afternoon thunderstorms were brewing.

As I PRAYED, our Lord urged me to be quiet and patient.

HE was working things out for the good (Romans 8:28)!

Then, at 1:30pm the AUTHORIZATION CAME!

I bid all my new friends good-bye,  crawled in the Little Donkey and took off and climbed to 14,500' to face those buildups.

Again, our Lord made a wonderful path through those storms.

I landed at Fort Pierce and got a little scolding from Officer Rodriquez  for landing at 6:02pm...2 minutes past closing time.  He gave me a WARNING.

Oh well, I was on U.S. soil!  Then flew to Titusville and put the Little Donkey in the hangar.

Got in the Ford Escape drove to somewhere in Georgia and found a comfortable bed.

This morning I'm up and telling you this story.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

BLAZING A TRAIL...

Yesterday, I stood on a near empty ramp at Port-au-Prince International Airport.

More evidence of the devastation caused by gangs reeking chaos on Haiti.  WE PRAY!

I then flew to Barahona, Dominican Republic, a short 30 minute flight.

The purpose is to meet the airport officials and see exactly  what paper work is required to process in and out.

Upon landing I was met with courteous & helpful officials.

I then topped off the Little Donkey for Saturday departure.

Caught a taxi and arrived at the Costa Larimar Hotel.

Had an absolutely delicious meal and had a quiet, comfortable evening.

Up early and heading back to the airport for my long flight back to Fort Pierce.

My exploratory mission has been successful!

Early yesterday morning, I topped off the Little Donkey, verified the weather & Prayed for guidance and protection.

Then pushed pushed the throttles forward and took off for Haiti.

Climbed to 13,500' .  Had to work around some pretty big build-ups, but overall had a smooth and rather quick flight (4 hours 45 minutes).

Landed Port-au-Prince and all went smoothly.

PRAISE GOD...ALL MEDICAL SUPPLIES DELIVERED!!

Today, I'll be working on an Emergency Exit plan.  Can't give any more details.

EARLY WATCH

I love getting up early and having some good old quiet time to pray & reflect.

Put on a pot of coffee and enjoy that first cup.

Truly, coffee is a "Gift from God".

Yesterday, I met with Paul, our aircraft  mechanic and he did a final inspection after my test flight.  The Little Donkey is "Ready to Go!"

Been checking the weather and there seems to be a little instability in the Caribbean, but should be manageable.

For now, I'm simply awaiting my release.  Time for that second cup and enjoy the peace & quiet.

VITAL MEDICAL SUPPLIES "TO GO"!

After leaving the R.A.M. (Remote Area Medical) HQ loaded with vital medical supplies, I drove straight to Orlando Aircraft Services (700 hundred miles).

There I met Troy Webb, the Owner of O.A.S.  to pick up the critical avionics for the Little Donkey.

BTW, Troy & OAS have taken care of all our Avionics needs for over 40 years!  PRAISE GOD!

Drove to Space Coast Regional airport, installed the repaired Avionics (Garmin 750) and took the Little Donkey up for a test flight.

All systems checked out and the Little Donkey is ready to GO!

Then, came the load.  I'm pleased to say that every single donated medical supply fit into the Little Donkey.  Even threw in a few more items, including an Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier.

I was so relieved to hear from my good friend and fellow pilot, Todd Hillhouse.  He helped me load the Little Donkey.  THANK YOU TODD!

Well, with the Little Donkey all loaded up, it's a matter of just awaiting my release TO GO from our Lord Jesus!

I was blessed to see that WBIR Channel 10 in Knoxville covered this "Mission".  Here's the newscast:  EAST TN MAN & REMOTE AREA MEDICAL TEAM UP TO BRING SUPPLIES TO THOSE IN DESPERATE NEED

Time to head to the airport and do a few more things in preparation for departure.

THANK YOU R.A.M.

Recently, I heard that H.E.R.O. Ambulance Service was building a "Trauma Center" in Haiti.

What a Brave & Courageous move!  I had to do something  to help them.

Picked up the phone and called R.A.M. (Remote Area Medical), and explained the "Mission".

Sent them a "Wish List" for the soon-to-be Trauma Center.  A few days later, they said "Come and Get  It"!

I pulled up to R.A.M. HQ in my Little Red Ford Escape and found the "Treasure Box" FULL to OVERFLOWING with vital medical supplies.

Just perfect for the Trauma Center.

Would it all fit into the "Escape"?

Box by box and bag by bag, I slowly loaded the "Escape" until, I got every every single last donated medical supply tucked neatly into the "Escape".

The R.A.M. Team then said...."When you're ready for more, just let us know."

PRAISE GOD & THANK YOU R.A.M.!!

I thanked R.A.M. again and hit the road for 700 mile journey to Florida.

I drove until I began to "drift".  Pulled into a Hampton Inn somewhere in Georgia and had a good nights sleep.

Will drive directly to Orlando Aircraft Services (OAS) and get my repaired Garmin 750 for the "Little Donkey".

Then, to the next phase of this "Mission".

As always, THANK YOU for meandering down this "road of life" with and especially for your precious  prayer, love and support!!

MEDICAL EQUIP PICK UP

"Remote Area Medical" (RAM) is donating some vital medical equipment for Haiti.

RAM & AIR MOBILE have worked together for years.  We sure appreciate them and certainly miss our dear friend & Founder of RAM, Stan Brock.

I'll be driving to the RAM HQ to pick up the donation today.  We'll be coordinating a means  of getting these vital supplies & equipment into Haiti, as soon as we can.

I'm very THANKFUL to RAM for these life-saving gifts.

The situation in Haiti is rapidly deteriorating into TOTAL ANARCHY!

PLEASE PRAY for our Lord to guide and direct us each step of the way.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

A LOVELY YOUNG LADY....

Yesterday evening was Hancock County High School's  PROM  NIGHT.

Cindy outdid herself by helping make our Ariana Grace absolutely STUNNING!

Folks, I must say that not only is our Ariana beautiful on the outside, but she is equally beautiful on the inside.

We are so proud of our sweet Ariana!!

Now, Cindy also baked the Prom Cake.

BTW, that beautiful cake will serve 150!

OK, I'm pretty proud of my precious Cindy!!

We were joined by our good friend, Jen to celebrate this evening.

Prom Night was a complete success!

So, here we are on Sunday morning getting ready for church.

THANK GOD for the freedom to Worship God freely!!

THANK YOU, as always for your precious prayer, love and support!!

CAUGHT UP....& A SWEET RETREAT

I'm pleased to say that....finally, I'm all caught up....for now, on receipting donations, paying bills and answering correspondence.

I'm very THANKFUL for my snug, comfortable Air Mobile Office tucked away here in the mountains of East TN.

The "Retreat Cabin" is a place of peace and tranquility, for which I am extremely grateful!!

I know that soon...I'll be heading out on another "Mission".  Details are beginning to come together, but it's a bit early to disclose where it will be.

In the meantime, I'll simply enjoy this lovely place and savor the peace at this "SWEET RETREAT"!

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

ON COURSE....

While taking advantage of this time here at the "Retreat Cabin", we're building up our inventory of Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers.

We know that most any disaster, i.e. hurricane / earthquakes / war / etc... will severely damage clean water sources.

This then causes "Cross Contamination"....mixing clean water with sewer.

Simply put, the Rescuer will clean up that sewer water saving lives!

Therefore, we're PREPARING as many Rescuers as possible (depending on funds).

THANK YOU, as always, for our invaluable prayer, love and support!!

GETTING READY.....

Sitting here in the Air Mobile Office, my heart is looking toward "The Next Mission".

We're building Air Mobile Rescuers, as much as our funds will allow.  We're monitoring the news.  We're seeking our Lord's direction!

Not exactly sure where that "Next Mission" will be but...."We're Getting Ready"!

Meanwhile, not sure what to think about the recent "Attempt to Assassinate Putin".

Seems to be some very suspicious factors that leaves one wondering...just who shot those drones?

Here's more - RUSSIA ACCUSES UKRAINE OF DRONE ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT

At any rate, this moves us closer to nuclear war.  So, what do we do?  WE PRAY!!

LORD HAVE YOUR WAY....IN ME!!

As I say every single day, and mean with all of my heart...THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

A LOVELY PARTY....

& CATCHING UP.....AGAIN & A SNAKE SKIN

Yesterday, we celebrated Ari's 18th Birthday at "The Gathering Place" in Downtown Sneedville.

She was joined by a few friends.

Ari got the latest I-Phone among other cool gifts.

And, one of her favorite spots, the Eiffel Tower.

A nice memory from our recent trip to France.

Overall, it was a lovely party for a lovely young lady.  We're so proud of our precious Ariana!!

And, here's a little update from my sweet Air Mobile Office.

I'm so THANKFUL for a comfortable office and a good internet connection. It's a very nice place to work & pray!!

Here's a peek inside where I write thank-you letters and pay the bills and do the things that keeps Air Mobile going.

BTW, here's one of my favorite Christmas presents....an exact model of the "Little Donkey".

I'm pleased to say that I'm finally getting close to being all caught up.

Folks, I'm simply overwhelmed by your kindness and your faithful prayer, love and support!!

BTW, take a look at what might be living in the attic....

ON A COOL CRISP MORNING.....A PLEASANT DRIVE

Have a slew of places to go today.  Even though our sweet "Sweet Retreat Cabin" is tucked away, deep in the mountains of East Tennessee, getting most anywhere takes between 45 minutes and an hour.

But you know, it's so beautiful, I hardly notice the extra time.  Simply put...I just enjoy ride!

Last night, our Pastor, John, shared his recent "Mission to the Philippines".

It was John's first journey out of the good old U.S.A.

John and Team had a wonderful mission there and saw over 100 accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

It likely won't be John's last "Mission" to the Philippines.  So glad he was able stretch out his tent stakes and go on this wonderful mission.

So, it's time to head out on a lovely ride and take a few things off my ever growing "To Do List".

I'm THANKFUL for this peaceful time at the "Retreat Cabin", and especially THANKFUL for your truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!
