THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES....OCTOBER 2018

11-1-18 Thursday 6:17 AM (Eastern U.S. Time)  - Titusville, FL - Air Mobile "On the Move" - Report submitted by:  Air Mobile Joe -

 LISTENING TO GOD....

This morning, up early with a cup of coffee, I turned to Proverbs 1.  The last verse (1:33) brought me great comfort and peace in the midst of a lot turmoil and division within our country.

My hope and prayer is that Americans will turn to God and seek His wisdom in the days ahead.

The bitter division, that is so evident, will tear our nation apart.

Wherever you are today, may you pause and listen for God's wisdom and direction.  THANK GOD for His precious Word!

So, today will be back in the air flight training with my flight instructor, Glen Gray.  It's good to get back to the basics of flying.

We'll be working on stalls this morning.  Learning how to talk students through the process and how to safely recover is our goal.

Time to get to the airport and fire up that trusty Cessna 172 and head to the practice area.

THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support.

And may America turn to God and seek His wisdom and direction!!!  That WILL bring healing and peace to our nation!

WHILE AT THE AIRPORT...

Had another good day of flight training.  Working on steep turns and slow flight.  Making steady progress toward getting the CFI rating.  I love it!!

One of the benefits of flying out of Space Coast Regional Airport is the "Valiant Air Command" Warbird Museum.  One never knows what might come "Taxiing" by.

While standing by my hangar, heard the staccato sound of the Rolls Royce engine and turned to see the P-51 rumbling by.

The P-51 was one of the most incredible aircraft of WWII.  Then hearing that engine roar and that 75 year old Warbird soar made my heart beat a bit faster.

I'm not quite as old as that P-51, but seeing it fly gives me encouragement to "keep on flying"!!!

Then, right around the corner sits an aircraft that had an engine failure.  The student pilot and instructor brought it down in a field and "walked away".  That is an example of GOOD flight training.

Today, I'll be studying FAR 61 (Federal Aviation Regulations).  Need plenty of coffee to keep my eyes open.

So, as I launch into this day, I'm praying for our Lord's will to be done in my life each step of the say.

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!!

PRAY FOR AMERICA....& VOTE!

Cindy and I voted EARLY yesterday!  Didn't want to take a chance of missing the privilege and responsibility of exercising our civic duty.

MAY GOD'S WILL BE DONE in America!!

Somehow, we PRAY for a MIRACLE of UNITY & HEALING within America.  This fierce divide is so DESTRUCTIVE.

May we find the things that we can AGREE on and build on those things.

I'm reminded of Psalm 133:1.... "How good & pleasant for the brethren to dwell together in Unity"!!

Meanwhile, we continue to PREPARE for the Next Mission....wherever that might be.

I'll be flying again today with my Instructor, Glen Gray.  We're steadily moving toward that Check Ride for the Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) rating.

And, if you have the opportunity to VOTE EARLY, may I encourage you to do so.  You'll feel better if you do!!  But, above all, please PRAY FOR AMERICA!!!

I know that I say this every day, but I mean it with all of my heart.... THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

STAYING READY.... & VOTING EARLY

Looks like the Hurricane Season isn't quite finished....yet.  Hurricane Oscar is churning and hopefully turning away from the U.S.

Here's more on Oscar - HURRICANE OSCAR BECOMES 8TH HURRICANE OF THE SEASON...HOPEFULLY NO DANGER TO U.S.

The 2018 Season started out quiet and ended with a bang.  Folks will be recovering from Florence and Michael for some time.

Meanwhile, at Air Mobile, we're staying READY for what might come next.

No matter what the disaster, CLEAN WATER is typically a serious issue.  We have Air Mobile Rescuers....READY TO GO!

This week, I'll be in intense Flight Training toward obtaining my CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) Rating.  Folks, I'm truly enjoying this flight training!!!

Because of the nature of what we do, Cindy and I thought it a good idea to VOTE EARLY.  Don't want to miss the opportunity should we be out on a "Mission" on Election Day!

Yesterday, Cindy, Ari and I attended the beautiful wedding Anna Spina and Tony Valdez.  We've known Anna since she was a little girl.  They are a lovely couple!

And, I captured this shot of Cindy and Ari at Sterling Stables where the wedding took place.
What beautiful girls!!

Well, it's time to go VOTE!!

And....PLEASE PRAY FOR AMERICA!  May our nation come together!  A house divided against itself cannot stand!!

THANK YOU,  for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

SEIZING THE MOMENT....BETWEEN MISSIONS  & CHRISTIAN HURSTON, JR. AS THE "MUSIC MAN"

I'll be flight training over the next few weeks in preparation for the CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) Check Ride.

My flight instructor, Glen Gray is an airline captain and an excellent flight instructor.  He's also Yahn's (excellent water mule) Dad.

Knowing how to fly is one thing.  Teaching someone how to fly is another.

The written exam, "Fundamentals of Instructing" made that very clear to me.

One thing is for sure, I LOVE FLYING...since I was a little boy about 4 years old.  My hope and prayer is that I can train prospective pilots with that same passion and love.

So, Glen and I took to the air in a trusty, proven flight trainer, the venerable Cessna 172.   Glen patiently and methodically brought me back to the basics of flying and had me explain to him just what was going on (as an Instructor would to do a Student).  I love this training!!

And...after that good day of Flight Training, we were treated to a WONDERFUL Presentation of the "MUSIC MAN".

Our grandson, Christian Hurston played the lead roll as Professor Harold Hill.  And his little brother, Rhythm played Winthrop.

All I can say, as a VERY proud Grandfather is WOW!!  Both Christian and Rhythm, along with the whole cast, did a GREAT JOB!!

Our family enjoyed the entire show immensely!!

Today, we're on our way to Church and then the Hospital as Chaplains.  God is GOOD!!!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU again for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

I PASSED...NOW THE SERIOUS FLIGHT TRAINING BEGINS

Yesterday, I took the FAA "Fundamentals of Instructing" written test and PASSED (with a 92%)!

What a relief!

This morning, I'll begin flight training to prepare me for the CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) Check Ride.

Several years ago, I had begun this same training but got extremely busy with Relief Missions and put the quest for the CFI rating on the "back burner".

Well, it's now on the "front burner" and this time, with our Lord's help, I'll complete the training!

I can tell you, as a pilot, supplemental flight training is a good thing.  It helps to keep the pilot sharp and current on the latest changes in aviation. I'm THANKFUL for this opportunity.

In addition to helping me to be a better pilot, I look forward to training students and potential Missionary Pilots.  PRAISE GOD!!

Meanwhile, we're still on the quest for a replacement engine for the Little Donkey.  Our Lord will guide us each step of the way.

THANK YOU for your prayers (especially for your prayers on this test!).  Your prayer, love and support is invaluable to this ministry and to me personally!!!

TEST DAY & THE ENGINE SEARCH GOES ON...

This morning, will be taking the FAA Written Exam ("Fundamentals of Instructing").  Must admit, as we progress in years, studying gets a bit(!) harder.

But coffee and midnight oil has been my weapon in preparation!  I'm using a commercial computer based course (Gleim Aviation) to prepare.

My PRAYER is that the material is current and applicable.  At any rate, the study has been quite good and will help me in other areas of my life.

Please PRAY that I remain calm and just answer the questions correctly.

Meanwhile, we heard back from the FAA regarding that low time engine that we've been looking at.

It WON'T work.  Too many differences.  So, our quest for a replacement rear engine for the Little Donkey goes on.

So, I have time to take one more sample test before heading to the airport and taking the real thing.  I'll let you know how it goes.

As I say every day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

STUDY...& PRAY

Sitting here in my office, with a cup of coffee in hand, I'm studying for the written FAA Exam "Fundamentals of Instructing"

Once this written test is completed (and passed), I'll resume my flight training toward obtaining my CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) rating.

Over the years, I've never needed the CFI Certificate in our Aviation ministry.  I've logged nearly 9000 hours and have the Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.

But now....my heart is turning toward helping to train pilots to serve the Lord with their aviation skill.

Did you know that there is a GLOBAL PILOT SHORTAGE??

Take a look at this article...GLOBAL SHORTAGE OF PILOTS GETTING WORSE!!

Over the years, our Lord has helped me fly all over this hemisphere in very difficult and challenging conditions.

I would love to impart some of this knowledge to student pilots and I PRAY that they will seek to serve the Lord with this skill.

So, today I'll continue to STUDY & PRAY!  And...I'm enjoying being home for a while.

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

A TIME TO STUDY....

Being home, between "missions" affords many opportunities and blessings.  One of them is "Studying".

Some time ago, I embarked on a quest to obtain my Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) rating.

Then...disaster after disaster and other challenges arose causing me to put the CFI study on the shelf for another time.  NOW is the time!

For the last few days, I've been "prepping" for my final "Written Test".  The subject:  "Fundamentals of Instructing".  The study has been quite good and will help me train others more effectively.

An "incidental" benefit is that this study will, hopefully, also improve my training ability for the Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier and even improve my sermons.  I sure hope so!

For the next few days, I'll be immersed in this study and then take that Written Test later this week.

Who said..."You can't teach an old dog new tricks"???  This old dog is being challenged!

I must also say, in addition to this time of study, I'm really enjoying this time of being home and spending time and my Cindy and all my kids...and grand kids!!

So, back to the books and sample tests and coffee.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

CLOSE....BUT NO CIGAR....YET!

Paul and I inspected several engines yesterday and found out that they didn't quite fit on the Little Donkey.

The jury is still out and we've got a call into the FAA to see what we would need to do to make this engine work.

Meanwhile, our quest for a replacement engine for the Little Donkey goes on.

I'm reminded of one of my favorite Scriptures....SEEK & YOU SHALL FIND.

THANK YOU, for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

ON THE TRAIL....OF AN ENGINE FOR THE LITTLE DONKEY

In the midst of hurricanes and flooding and other disasters, we've been working behind the scenes to get a replacement engine for the Little Donkey.

It's time to get that sweet bird back in the air!!

This morning, our Mechanic, Paul, and I will be going to inspect a potential replacement engine for the Little Donkey.

Oh, I have missed flying the Little Donkey!

BTW, the engine that we're inspecting today has been on my radar for over a year.  It's just come available for sale and we're moving on it....IF it passes inspection.

Please pray with us that our Lord will lead and guide in this critical decision.  After our inspection we'll make a final offer and we pray for our Lord to provide the funds necessary.

It's time to head to the airport to meet Paul and check out this engine.  THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!

SWEET FALL FESTIVAL

Ari and I spent the day at our Church's Fall Picnic and we had a wonderful time.

Ari served and I ran food from the grill to serving table.  This was Redeemers first Fall Picnic at our new location and it was a complete success.  PRAISE GOD!!

Cindy was working at the hospital, but earlier, she made incredible candy apples and caramel corn.

Today, we're heading to Church and will then be ministering at the Hospital in Orlando.

This is the day that our LORD has made and we're REJOICING in it!!  THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

WHERE AM I??

Had another great meeting with NASA yesterday.  We are steadily moving toward getting the Air Mobile Rescuer on-board the International Space Station (ISS).

Just the fact that there is strong interest in our technology is a HUGE BLESSING!!

The brilliant engineers at NASA are helping us make a better water purifier!!!

I am reminded of Proverbs 11:11...In the multitude of Counselors, there is safety.

Today, Ari and I will be helping at our home Church's "Fall Community Picnic".  Cindy is working at the hospital today.

If you live in the area, come on out, would love to meet you and share some great fellowship and wonderful goodies!!

Now, I know I say this every single day, but I truly mean it with all of my heart....THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

A RESCUER TO GHANA....

Several months ago, I received a call from Terri, a retired Delta Airlines Flight Attendant.  She had heard of the Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier.

She had led a medical team to Ghana earlier and the need for clean water was absolutely crucial to save lives.

Last night, we met Brother James from Ghana and heard his story.  What an amazing "Man of God" with a true heart to help others.

An Air Mobile unit was funded during the evening.  PRAISE GOD for CLEAN WATER!!

Meanwhile, the Scarborough family and friends, along with the Grove Church from Titusville, are clearing trees and spreading the love of God in the Panhandle.

The Team brought plenty of manual labor and hygiene kits and much more.

So many folks have lost everything and the needs are just staggering.  This kind of love is exactly what our Lord was speaking of in Matthew 25....

Well, let's see what this day holds.  May we be sensitive to His direction and guidance.  THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

HELP GOING....

THANK GOD for faithful volunteers!  Cindy Scarborough and her children are usually at the front of the line offering to help.

Yesterday evening, I received a text from Garrett Scarborough (who has joined Air Mobile around the world) stating that they were going to the Panhandle in the morning to clear trees and help in any way.

Air Mobile will be sending 2 Rescuers with them to provide clean water in isolated areas.

The Grove Church, here in Titusville, is putting this team together.  They're hitting the road as I type this blog.

Again, PRAISE GOD for those who care for others in their time of need!   And THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

Sitting here in my office, sipping a cup of coffee with electricity, running water, a solid structure, my mind goes to the images of folks who have lost everything and not sure where they will sleep tonight.

Over the last 7 weeks, have been to disaster after disaster.  My heart breaks for those who are suffering.  I'm asking our Lord to use me for His glory wherever I am.

I'm also reminded of so many who are reaching out to others in this deep hour of need.  PRAISE GOD for the Body of Christ.

Today, I'll be doing what I can to help those in need.  THANK YOU, as always, for your prayer, love and support!!

HOME....AT LAST!!!

The road trip from Baton Rouge to Titusville took about 12 hours.

I rolled into my driveway after 1:00am and just sat in the car for a few minutes realizing that I was HOME AT LAST!

The last few weeks have been INTENSE with Back to Back to Back to Back Missions to....HAITI / INDIA / NORTH CAROLINA (Florence) / DALLAS (African Governors) / FLORIDA PANHANDLE (Michael)!!

Just scroll on down with this blog and when you get to the bottom, hit older posts and scroll through September and you'll see what I mean.  Whew, YES, I'm glad to be home.

My hope and prayer is that things get quiet....even just for a little while.  I've MISSED my Cindy, Ari and all of my other kids and grand kids.

So, this morning, I'll leisurely sip a couple of cups of coffee, catch up with my sweet Cindy and watch the news.

I realize that I say this every single day, but I truly mean it with all of my heart....THANK YOU for your precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

LEAVING THE PANHANDLE....

Our Mission to the Panhandle was coming to an end.  The Southern Helicopter Bell Long Ranger was called to another mission.

We departed Valdosta, GA for a helicopter base (Coastal Helicopters) just outside of Panama City.

We're EXTREMELY THANKFUL to Ben Seal, Jr. for allowing us to utilize this wonderful tool for this outreach to Hurricane Michael.

We also had the privilege to work with Operation Blessing (OB) on this mission.  It was a pleasure working with the OB Team!

Our pilot was Jacob Tugwell.  You may recall that Jacob was the Southern Helicopter pilot on our outreach to North Carolina.  Jacob is a FANTASTIC pilot.

I left an Air Mobile Rescuer in the hands of Jacob who will be continuing to fly critical missions in the Panhandle.

Now, we were "on the ground" just outside of Panama City.  Traffic was horrendous and Chuck Holston, the War Correspondent and I needed a ride back to Baton Rouge, LA where this mission originated.

The owner of Coastal Helicopters (Greg Clubbs) gave us to keys to a pick up truck to take back to Baton Rouge.  WOW!  THANK YOU, Greg!

We bid farewell to Jacob and thanked him again for doing such a superb job of  getting us to, and flying all over "Ground Zero" of Hurricane Michael.

Air Mobile was able to deploy 8 Air Mobile Rescuers to an area that has been devastated.

We're THANKFUL to our Lord for giving us this privilege to help those in need.

And, we're THANKFUL to you for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

It's time for me to hit the road for home.  PRAISE GOD!!

DELIVERY TO ST. PAUL'S

While enroute to Valdosta, GA on-board the Southern Helicopter I received a text from John Clark in Titusville, FL.

He asked if I would be working Hurricane Michael.  I told John that I was currently on-board a chopper heading there.

Over the next 4 hours text after text exchanged.  The plan formed and yesterday morning, John drove to Valdosta and our next mission began.

Deliver 5 Air Mobile Rescuers to Albany, GA for the team at St. Paul's Episcopalian Church to reach out into their community with CLEAN WATER!!

John then picked up 5 more Air Mobile Rescuers from Air Mobile HQ and drove to Valdosta.  We met yesterday morning ready to head up to Albany, GA.

We stopped at the local Publix and loaded up with more food and hit the road for Albany.

We saw evidence of Hurricane Michael all along the way.  Upon arrival, we met the St. Paul Team and delivered the food and Rescuers.

I went right to work training the Team and within an hour, we were on the road back to Valdosta.

Along the way, I was speaking to my son, Ben who lives in Tallahassee.

Ben identified a community that had the eye of Michael go directly over.  They needed CLEAN WATER.

With the wonder of cell phone, text messaging a good signal, John and I met Ben in Moultrie, GA.  We swapped our cargo and John headed back to Titusville and Ben and I to Valdosta.

Ben has joined Air Mobile on multiple missions and is quite familiar with the operation of the Rescuer.

It was a joy to present a Rescuer to Ben who will bring isolated folks clean water.  Praise God!!

Today....we will see, we're ready for whatever our Lord has for us!

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!

EPIC DAY TO MICHAEL DESTRUCTION.... FROM BATON ROUGE TO VALDOSTA, GA TO TALLAHASSEE TO PANAMA CITY BEACH TO TALLAHASSEE TO VALDOSTA...WHAT A DAY!

After departing the wonderful meeting in Dallas and drving to Baton Rouge, we boarded the Southern Helicopters Bell Long Ranger for the first leg of our long day to Valdosta, GA.

I enjoyed the lift off and the view of the old muddy Mississippi River.

The Long Ranger is a wonderful helicopter but not very fast.  We averaged about 90 knots to Valdosta, GA.

We had to stop for fuel 2 times before arriving at Valdosta, GA to meet the Operation Blessing Team.

When we landed at Mariana, GA for fuel, it was only when we explained that we had critical water purifiers on-board that they would sell us fuel.  Praise God for this wonderful tool of CLEAN WATER.

Our next stop would be Valdosta, GA where we picked up the Operation Blessing Team who would video the "Mission".

We then flew to Tallahassee to pick up a Government Official to survey the damage with us.

The amazing ACTIVITY at Tallahassee was incredible as chopper after chopper took off bringing in vital relief to the devastated areas.

Our next stop would be the Lighthouse Church in Panama City, FL....an area absolutely devastated by Michael.  We landed in the parking lot of this great Church.

The Sanctuary was crushed by Michael.  From inside the Sanctuary, you can see the destructive power of Michael.

Chuck Holton, a well known War Journalist describes the scene.

The amazing thing is how the Lighthouse Church members showed up to reach out to the community with water, food, fuel, clothes and more.

After spending precious time with this Body of Christ, they gathered around the Helo and PRAYED!  PRAISE GOD!

We then took off headed to fuel at Panama City Airport.  We circled over the marina and the destruction was just awful.

We were losing light as the sunset.  After fueling, we flew back in the pitch dark to Tallahassee to drop the Government  Official.

Then to Valdosta where our team collapsed after this epic day of outreach!!!

And what about today??  The Operation Blessing Team will be flying back to Panama City Beach.

This morning, I will be meeting with Reverend John Clark of "No One Hungry Ministries" out of Titusvile, FL. We'll be heading to Albany, GA to bring in 5 Air Mobile Rescuers where CLEAN WATER is needed!

Stay tuned.....THE MISSION CONTINUES!!!  As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

STRATEGIC DEPLOYMENT....

Little did Danny Thomas know when we planned to deliver to Dallas, TX, Air Mobile Rescuers for East African nations, that a "Monster Hurricane" (Michael) would blow up between us!

Take a look at this map and the little Blue Airplane (that is actually the Chevy Equinox) as I scoot to the other side of Hurricane Michael and how the route is quickly consumed by the deadly hurricane.

The timing IS uncanny, but that is often the way the Holy Spirit of God directs.

And, even though the original order for Rescuers was 30, we are able to deliver 20 and have 10 for possible EMERGENCY DEPLOYMENTS in the wake of Hurricane Michael.  God is good!!

I wanted to THANK Dan and Charlene for giving me comfortable place to lay my head before driving the last leg from Baton Rouge to Dallas.

Today,  will be meeting the African Leaders and training them on the operation of the Air Mobile Rescuer.

So, this wild adventure continues.  As soon as the mission in Dallas is completed, I'll be heading back to "Ground Zero(s)" of Hurricane Michael.  May our Lord lead each step of the way!!

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!

SLIPPING TO THE OTHER SIDE OF HURRICANE MICHAEL...

Departed Titusville in a borrowed Chevy Equinox with 31 Air Mobile Rescuers on board.

My destination will be Dallas, TX.  These Rescuers will be going to 31 East African nations.  BTW, this order was placed long before Hurricane Michael.

But, I would have to slip to the other side of Hurricane Michael that is rapidly growing in strength.

The little "Blue Airplane" represents the Chevy Equinox barreling down I-10 racing to the other side of Michael.

The timing of this strategic "Rescuer Delivery" was perfect!!  Just to my left was a "Monster" brewing.  Michael is growing to a CAT 4 with winds of 145mph gusting to 165!!!

I called my good friend Dan Andrews.  Have known Dan since High School.  He had a sofa waiting for me.

At close to midnight I pulled into Baton Rouge and had a pleasant visit with my dear friend Dan.

Ahhh, I made it to the other side of Hurricane Michael!!!!  Today, I'll arrive in Dallas to deliver the 31 Air Mobile Rescuers.

Meanwhile, Yahn is building more Air Mobile Rescuers for possible deployment in the wake of Hurricane Michael.

The latest on Hurricane Michael is extremely BAD NEWS!  Here's more - HURRICANE MICHAEL GROWS TO EXTREMELY DANGEROUS HURRICANE!!!

So, I'm packing up my bags and thanking my dear friends, Dan and Charlene for the comfortable sofa.

Next Stop:  DALLAS TEXAS!  THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

HURRICANE MICHAEL GAINING STRENGTH...VERY DANGEROUS STORM!

Hurricane Michael is roaring toward the Florida Panhandle.

This storm can wreak major destruction and even death.  I hope and pray that the residents heed the EVACUATION order!!

Here's more - HURRICANE MICHAEL FORECAST TO INTENSIFY & BRING A DANGEROUS THREAT OF STORM SURGE & DAMAGING WINDS TO FLORIDA PANHANDLE / HURRICANE WARNINGS ISSUED!!

Meanwhile, I'll be delivering 30 Air Mobile Rescuers to Dallas where they will be sent to 30 African Countries.  Will be driving them there by road.

Will be departing in the next 2 hours for the journey right through the leading edge of Hurricane Michael!

Of course, I'll deviate as necessary!!

We're still tracking the situation in Haiti following the powerful quake.

We're in close touch with Remote Area Medical (RAM) and will possibly be cooperating on relief flights into Haiti....after I return from the Dallas Delivery Mission.

Thousands have been left homeless and suffering following the most powerful quake to strike Haiti since the 2010 Earthquake.  We're asking our Lord to help us to help them!

PLEASE PRAY for our Lord to give me good routing around Hurricane Michael.  This storm is growing rapidly as I type.

Now, I know I say this every single day, but I mean it with all of my heart....THANK YOU for our invaluable prayer, love and support!!!!

EARTHQUAKE SHAKES HAITI....

Last night (8:11 PM Eastern time), the most powerful quake since the deadly 2010 quake struck Haiti.

Fear and panic spread rapidly from the residents that are still shell-shocked from the 2010 quake that killed 250,000.

Here's more - HAITI EARTHQUAKE: AT LEAST 11 DEAD AND DOZENS INJURED AFTER TREMOR HITS NORTH OF COUNTRY  - We're following this situation very closely.

And, Barbara Walker (AKA:  Rambo in the Blue Dress) had just left Haiti hours before the quake hit.

Barb flew to Haiti for the day to retrieve some critical components that we needed to complete our Rescuer order for Africa.  THANK YOU, BARB!!

And, Sam from India worked on building Rescuers as both "hands-on training" as well as helping us to get the order ready for shipment.

THANK YOU, SAM!!

Sam has been trained on every aspect of the remarkable Rescuer as well as testing each unit.

When Sam returns to India, he'll be well trained on the operation, maintenance and repair of the unit.  Praise God!!  That is critical to keeping the CLEAN WATER FLOWING!!

We're pleased to have Barb with us for a few days.  She'll be helping us today with the Chaplain Ministry in the Hospital in Orlando.

So, as I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

Dear Joe,
You visited our compound in 2017 when I was still in Juba. You had the most incredible water filter and you donated one, demonstrated how it works and installed it at the same time.

It is the best filter I have ever seen.
Right now I am in Kampala with 50 children who constantly drink a lot of water.

Would you be able to donate another water filter for us in Kampala? If not, would we be able to buy one? How much would it cost?

Let me know,
Blessings

I recall meeting Cathy in Juba, South Sudan last year.  What a precious Lady of God!  We donated an Air Mobile Rescuers to her orphanage.

Cathy's ministry to young girls in the war-torn country of South Sudan is incredible!

BTW, here is what the U.S. State Department had to say about Cathy:  U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT HEROES!

Since receiving her request yesterday, we are seeking the funding to send her another Rescuer for her orphanage in Kampala, Uganda.  PRAISE GOD!!!

Our good friend, Henry Foster, frequently travels to Uganda putting in Air Mobile Rescuers.

He's already agreed to "DELIVER THE RESCUER" to Cathy.  All we need now is the funding for the unit.

So, on this beautiful Saturday, we keep marching forward working on bringing clean water to thirsty people!!  As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

LET THE CLEAN WATER FLOW....

We're building Air Mobile Rescuers for Africa.  This request came in before the Indonesia Earthquake / Tsunami occurred.

We must get these units built and tested for delivery on a tight timeline.  Then....we will see where to go next.

Yahn is teaching Sam all about the Rescuer.  Sam is actually helping build the units which is giving him excellent training on the unit.

When Sam returns to India, he'll be able to support the Air Mobile Rescuers in operation there.

PRAISE GOD!  LET'S KEEP THE CLEAN WATER FLOWING!!

Time to get on with this day that our Lord has made!!  And....THANK YOU for your vital prayer, love and support!

MARCHING AHEAD....

THANK GOD for Volunteers!  Joe Prussel, a long-time friend and great Water Mule helped us build Air Mobile Rescuers yesterday.  He was joined by another friend of Air Mobile, Hal.

And....Sam from India is gaining great experience by building Rescuers.

This training is invaluable for Sam to be able to support Air Mobile Rescuers deployed in India... and beyond.  Sam is becoming a solid Water Mule!

Our main thrust is to move ahead and prepare for the "Next Mission".

We're currently making Rescuers that will be deployed in Africa.  We're on a very tight time-line to get these units to Africa.

However, we are seeking our Lord's direction as to how we can help in Indonesia.  Stay tuned.

As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

TRAINING SAM & PRESENT TO FRED

It was a whirlwind day of training and presenting.  Sam from India will be servicing and maintaining Air Mobile Rescuers all over India.

What a perfect opportunity to give him extensive "hands-on" training.

He and Yahn are actually building Rescuers that will be sent to Africa.  Sam is learning the unit "from the ground up".

Yesterday, we presented (for analysis) a Rescuer to Fred Maxik of Lighting Science.  Fred is a LEGEND and holds hundreds of patents.  A number of his inventions are actually orbiting the earth as I type.

Fred has offered to help us in some design improvements and I can't begin to tell you how thankful I am  to Fred for sharing his GENIUS with us.

Today, we're continuing to build Rescuers and we're certainly PRAYING for the victims of the recent Indonesia earthquake.

Here's more -  TSUNAMI DEATH-TOLL CONTINUING TO CLIMB

The death-toll is still rising and we're diligently seeking our Lord's guidance as to what we can do to help.

Right now, our hands are FULL and we're asking our Lord to help us to handle more.  We truly want to go to Indonesia but must take care of business at home at this time.

MAY GOD'S WILL BE DONE!!

As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

WELCOME SAM....

It was a joy to pick up Sam from India yesterday.  He'll be with us for the next few weeks.

Sam and his family have a wonderful ministry in India to the Dalit's  AKA "Untouchables".

Here's more about the Dalit's - THE DALIT'S AKA "UNTOUCHABLES" according to Wikipedia

We've worked with Sam and his wonderful family for over 3 years.  We love this family!!!

Our primary mission is to help bring CLEAN WATER & FOOD to these who have been downtrodden and forgotten.

During Sam's time here, we'll be training him on the full operation, maintenance and repair of the Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier.

BTW, Sam loves Fox News and is an amazing student of the U.S. government and our challenges.

So, even though Sam is a bit rattled by "Jet Lag", today, he'll be working with Yahn (a Premier Water Mule) and actually building Rescuers and learning the operation from stem to stern.  Sam will head up our Rescuer Maintenance Facility in Southern India.

Meanwhile, we're following the tragedy unfolding in Indonesia.  We're diligently seeking our Lord's direction on how we can help.

Here's more - INDONESIA TSUNAMI - DEATH TOLL RISES SHARPLY AS DESPERATION GROWS

Time to get to work and get Sam trained.  As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

PRAYING....then PLANNING

In that order.  I'm reminded of a wise man of God, S.D. Gordon who said....

"Prayer is striking the winning blow; service is just gathering up the results".

As I read the headlines about the latest disasters, my heart is often torn...should I Stay or should I Go.  That is often one of my most difficult decisions.

As I see the news pouring in about the latest earthquake / tsunami to strike Sulawesi Indonesia my heart breaks as I see the images.

We've been there.  We've brought in vital help after earthquakes and tsunamis.  What should we do??

ABOVE ALL, WE SHOULD PRAY and ask our Lord what He would have us to do.

Here's more on this unfolding tragedy (WARNING:  Graphic images) - DEATH TOLL 1300 & RISING!

In the meantime, we're pulling pieces together and building as many Air Mobile Rescuers as we can.  We want to be READY if our Lord gives us the go-ahead to GO.

So, today, we PRAY & then PLAN!

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!
