ON STAND-BY....

We have some more cold weather coming our way.  Cindy and I are THANKFUL for our snug cabin tucked away here in the mountains of East TN on this foggy, cold morning.

I'm THANKFUL for a good recovery from my recent surgery.  PRAISE GOD!!

So, on this cold Saturday morning, Cindy and I are on stand-by for what-ever comes our way.  We say, "Here are we, Lord Jesus, send us".

As I say every day, and truly mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

GETTING READY & SPENDING TIME WITH JESUS....

In addition to catching up on ministry paperwork, it is a good time to build as many Air Mobile Rescuer Water Purifiers as we can, depending upon donations.

It is a good thing to prepare and GET READY for what lies ahead.

And of course, this time is so precious to both, spend time with our Lord Jesus, and just rest in Him.

Cindy and I so appreciate your invaluable prayer, love and support!

OFFICE WORK...

Running our 501C-3, Air Mobile Ministries organization, requires a certain amount of paperwork to be done in a timely manner.

I am pleased that Air Mobile Ministries has been in good standing with the IRS for over 40 years.

These times, between "missions," allow us to do that.  So, for the next few days, I'll be in the "Office" catching up and processing donations and paying bills and responding to correspondence .

Folks, as I handle your donations & letters, my heart is warmed by your generosity, prayer & love.

We THANK YOU again for your faithful prayer, love and support!

STAYING WARM...

Cindy and I have kept our old wood stove burning, pretty much non-stop, for the last few weeks.  Our little farm has an abundance fallen trees giving us fuel to stay warm.

We've kept the wood-splitter going.  Something so simple and efficient and for the most part, free, to stay warm and cook.

So, let the cold winds blow and throw another log on the old wood stove.

THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

SO FAR..SO GOOD

Today, I have a  Post-Op appointment with my surgeon to see how things are coming along.

It's been 6 weeks since the surgery.  So far, so good.  THANK YOU, JESUS!

While out and about, Cindy and I will make the ride to Bristol TN and send Sam's India Orphanage the monthly feeding support.  We love and appreciate Sam and the good work he is doing.

We continue to pray for Jamaica and those who are suffering.  PLEASE join us in PRAYER!

As always, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

BON VOYAGE ARI

Yesterday, Ariana flew back to Florida to resume her classes at Florida Tech.  We enjoyed having her with us here in TN for a few days.

Ari is a blessing to us and her love for Jesus shines brightly.

I'm pleased to tell you that I am approaching full recovery from my recent abdominal surgery.  THANK YOU for your prayers.

We continue to monitor the situation in Jamaica.  We'll be reaching out to other ministries that are on the ground in Jamaica. They can provide us with vital info on ways that we can help.

THANK YOU, as always for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

JAMAICA...ONE MONTH LATER

The plight of millions in Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa are in peril.

Here's more - HURRICANE MELISSA: FUEL QUES FOR DAYS / DISEASE SPREADING & HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS HOMELESS ONE MONTH ON FROM DEVASTATION

We, at Air Mobile, are monitoring this terrible situation closely. The lack of clean water increases the possibility of the outbreak of water-borne diseases and so many other catastrophic problems.

As you, who follow this daily blog know, we recently donated and delivered & trained operators on 10 Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers to Jamaica several weeks ago.

We are PRAYING about returning to Jamaica!

THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support for Jamaica!!

REMEMBER...& PRAY!

Having recently returned from Jamaica, which had just experienced one of the most powerful Hurricanes (Melissa), in modern history, I so well remember the suffering, destruction and devastation.

With your prayer, love and support, we were able to bring in 10 Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers and place them in strategic locations.

PLEASE remember to PRAY for the hundreds of thousands of Jamaicans who have lost everything.

Meanwhile, here's a cool story about a little $5.00 NO..$10.00 Christmas tree.

Cindy and I want you to know just how much we appreciate your precious prayer, love and support!!

A GOOD DAY FOR SHOPPING...

We needed some solar panels, so we waited for "Black Friday" to buy them and we saved some $$.

We're constantly working on being self-sufficient and being able to live "off the grid".  We're not there yet, but...we're making good progress.

Well, another key element to being "Off-The-Grid" is having a good old woodstove!  It's 25 degrees outside but toasty warm inside and...

We cooked a lot of our Thanksgiving meal on the old wood stove!

I hope you have a BLESSED Thanksgiving weekend and find some good deals on this Black Friday!

THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!

FAR BEYOND A DAY...

Here's a brief history of THANKSGIVING DAY IN AMERICA..

Thanksgiving's history began with the 1621 harvest feast between the Plymouth colonists and the Wampanoag people, which is now remembered as the "First Thanksgiving". Over time, the holiday evolved from regional celebrations and presidential proclamations, with George Washington issuing the first in 1789. It became a national holiday when President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed it would be held annually on the fourth Thursday of November in 1863. ...

It is good having a day to recognize THANKSGIVING.  Remember, when we give THANKS, a powerful force is released in our hearts, dispelling sadness and depression and negativity.

Our Lord tells us to give THANKS in EVERYTHING!

So, on this THANKSGIVING DAY, open your heart wide and let THANKSGIVING flow!

May we ever be THANKFUL for our MANY BLESSINGS!!

And, as I say every single day, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!

MIDNIGHT EXPRESS...

At midnight last night, Cindy and I  picked up Ariana at the Knoxville Airport (KTYS).  She's joining us for Thanksgiving here in TN.

Her flight was delayed by several hours (due to the Thanksgiving rush), getting us home after 2:00 AM.  It was a long day.  We're so glad that Ari can join us.

We're getting ready for Thanksgiving Day tomorrow. THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!

COUNTING BLESSINGS..

It seems like every time I start counting my blessings, I soon get overwhelmed and stand amazed at just how many blessings I have.

As we approach Thanksgiving Day, may we open up our hearts to the many blessings that we have bestowed upon us by our Loving Heavenly Father!

THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

HOME AGAIN...

Yesterday afternoon, we rolled up to our sweet cabin in the mountains of East TN.  It's good to be home.

We had an absolutely lovely visit in Florida, visiting with family & friends.

As we left FL, we took in the scenic rivers and ocean views with the balmy 80+ degree warmth.  Then, we eased into low lands of South Carolina.

As the elevation rose, the temperature dropped, as we passed through the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and finally, we came to the Smokey Mountains and home.

Each, has it's own grandeur and wonder.  We're so blessed to be able to visit and enjoy them all.

We're up early this morning, enjoying that first cup of coffee and and warmth & beauty of our old wood stove.

Our cat, named Thanksgiving, beat the dogs to their favorite spot this morning.

Well, it's time to tend to our critters.  THANK YOU, as always for your truly appreciated prayer, love and support!

HALF WAY...

On our way out of town, we stopped by and saw Paula Spina, our great friend from many years ago.

She and her daughters just opened a new Farm store.  Wonderful seeing them.

Stopped in Orangeburg SC (about half way) and called it a day.

This morning, we're packing up and heading out for the final leg home. Time to see our critters.

THANK YOU, as always, for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

GATHERING...

We began yesterday visiting with our dear friends, Chuck & Julia in the Great Outdoors RV Park (TGO).

In this shot, behind Cindy, something is lurking.

Upon closer inspection, we find a 10+ foot gator. We're keeping little Andy close to us.

From there, we visited more dear & faithful friends in the TGO, Jim & Ruby Logan.

From there, we swung by our Florida Pastor, Gary Ginn.  We love Gary & Lori!!

Gary is the Pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church.

Then, we passed by our son, Christian's New church, East Coast in Cocoa.  We're so proud of Christian & Ann Marie!!

Finally, we had dinner with our wonderful friends, Alfred, Lisa & April Menendez!

Ari joined us between her classes at Florid Tech.

And, a special THANKS to Chuck Fulmer, for giving Cindy and me a comfortable bed to sleep in. THANKS AGAIN Chuck!

It was a long and sweet day visiting with friends & family.

Today, we'll be out and about visiting more.  Tomorrow, we'll hit the road for our sweet TN cabin.

THANKS, as always, for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

GOOD TO SEE ARI...

Cindy and I picked up Ariana and had a delightful lunch in old downtown Melbourne.

Ari's doing very well, in her second year at Florida Tech.  She is studying "Multi-Platform Journalism". We're very proud of Ari!

Today, we'll be visiting with dear friends and family along the way.  We'll only be here in Florida for a few days, so we're making the best of our short time here.

THANK YOU for meandering down this "Road of Life" with us.

A SMOOTH RIDE...

We departed TN yesterday morning.  It was a lovely day, perfect for a nice "Road Trip".

Cindy drove the entire time (allowing time for my recovery) from TN to FL.

Had very few delays and enjoyed the beautiful sunset..even with a little traffic.

We arrived in FL 11 hours later.  PRAISE GOD for a safe trip.  We'll be here for a few days seeing friends and family.

THANK YOU, as always, for your faithful prayer, love and support!

ON THE ROAD AGAIN...

There are just some times that a nice road trip is good therapy. It also reminds me of a famous Willie Nelson song.

I absolutely love taking a road trip with my beloved Cindy.  We listen to stories and discuss the Bible, especially the "End Times" and even sing a bit.

Today, Cindy & I will take a leisurely ride to Florida to tend to some family business.

It's time to pack up and "Hit The Road".

Please join us in prayer for a SAFE & FUN trip.

HOME & REST

For now, the best thing I can do is REST!  I'm still in recovery following critical surgery just over 4 weeks ago.

My recent "Mission to Jamaica", where we successfully deployed 10 Air Mobile Rescuers, took a lot out of me, so this rest is a blessing.

I'm THANKFUL to have this "Haven Of Rest".

THANK YOU JESUS!

I THANK GOD for my precious wife,  Cindy, who is taking such good care of me.

And, I certainly PRAISE GOD for you and your faithful prayer, love and support!

A CHOICE ENCOUNTER...

While awaiting my other Air Mobile Team members to arrive in Montego Bay, on November 4th, I met this gentleman, Jose' Andre's, the Founder of World Central Kitchen (WCK).

NO ACCIDENT WE MET!

Over the last few years, Air Mobile has donated a number of Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers to WCK in Turkey, Morocco & Gaza, following devastating earthquakes and War.

Those donated units serve as "Back-Up" clean water supplies for WCK.  It was such an honor to meet Jose'  and tell him of our past encounters with WCK.

WCK is one of the most extraordinary relief organizations I have ever encountered, serving absolutely delicious meals in the midst of chaos and suffering.

So, here at our beloved "Retreat Cabin", I'm getting the rest and recovery I need...and always, getting ready for our next "Mission"!

I also want you to know just how much I appreciate your precious love, prayer & support!!

IMAGINE THIS...

As I stood next to the pile of  rubble and realized that someone may have actually lived in it, and perhaps were trapped in it, during the 185+ MPH horrifying winds, I can only imagine what it must have been like.

The truth is, this scenario had  likely played out literally hundreds of thousands of times all throughout Jamaica, leaving trauma, and scars in it's wake. So many had NO PLACE TO GO!

The MIRACLE is that so many SURVIVED!

When our Air Mobile Team arrived in Montego Bay on 11-4-25, we  plunged into the hardest hit areas...Westmoreland, Little London & Black River, where Hurricane Melissa made landfall.

There, we found Orphanages, Churches and Community Centers, excellent recipients for the 10 amazing Air Mobile Rescuer Water Purifier that we deployed

This precious gift, of CLEAN WATER brought hope and help in so many hard-hit areas.

Just read on down to see how this latest Mission to Jamaica unfolded.

As I say every day, and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!

TIME TO GO HOME....

Yesterday, we met with 2 Pastors (Steven & Allen)

who needs CLEAN WATER.

After a thorough training, we presented  our last 2 Air Mobile Rescuers to them.

This morning, Sam and I are packing up and heading to Montego Bay International Airport.

I must say that Sam has been absolutely AMAZING!

I'm still recovering from recent surgery and Sam has taken a tremendous load off of me.   THANK YOU SAM!!

We're still dealing with very spotty internet coverage & little or no current available.

I assure you, Air Mobile will be getting a Star Link before our next mission.  We'll also carry a small inverter to keep the old laptop going.

Well, this is the part of the "Mission" that is "Bitter-Sweet".  I'm ready to be home with my Cindy and rest & recuperate in our precious "Retreat Cabin" yet...there is so much work to be done here in Jamaica.

We have seen a very sweet & determined Jamaican people in dealing with utter devastation & 40" of rainfall!  So many precious smiles and an abundance of  "Thank You's" in the midst of it all.

Even though Sam and I are leaving today, we suspect we'll be back.

And...I want you to know just how much I appreciate your invaluable prayer, love and support.

I WAS HUNGRY...I WAS THIRSTY...

Yesterday, we bid Jeremy & Lucy farewell, as they returned to the U.S.  Working together with them was a pure pleasure.  This is only the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship.

After seeing them off, Sam and I headed to the Operation Blessing (OB) Base set up in Montego Bay.  There, we met our good friends and Brothers in Christ, Diego & Jorge.

Always good to see them.  OB does great work around the world.  We so appreciate them!

Then we were on our way to Little London for our 8th deployment which was usually 90 minute drive and turned into a 4+ hour drive.

There is still such chaos as the Jamaicans are seeking to find food and water.  We PRAY for them in this chaos.

We're ever reminded of the Words of our LORD JESUS..."I WAS HUNGRY...I WAS THIRSTY"....

When we returned to Montego Bay, late yesterday evening, we struggled to find a place to sleep.  Everywhere we looked, it was No Vacancy. Finally, we found ourselves at a closed gate.

We prayed and Knocked on the gate ( Matthew 7:7) and a young man came and opened the gate.  We found a place to sleep! PRAISE GOD!

Today, we have 2 more "Rescuers" to deploy.  THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!

2 "RESCUCERS" TO ROBINS NEST ORPHANAGE...

Yesterday, our TEAM headed to Robin's Nest Orphanage.  This amazing Children's Home is perched high on top of a mountain.  The road is treacherous, but was recently cleared of debris and tree limbs.

I must admit, my palms were sweaty during the climb.  Jeremy Dragon, who drove us to the top, admitted the same.

Once there, I did a rapid training with Chris Hewitt, the Orphanage Administrator.  We were in a race against time, as we wanted to descend with daylight.

Chris arranged for a neighbor to lead us safely back down the mountain, PRAISE GOD!

Today, we are in Montego Bay and going to see our good friends at Operation Blessing.  Will write more later!

ANOTHER ORPHANAGE & THE BACK-SIDE OF MELISSA..

Yesterday, our Team struck out from Ochoa Rios, a 5 hour drive, going deeper and deeper into the devastating destruction of Melissa as we approached Westmoreland, one of the hardest hit regions.

We faced many obstacles long this treacherous route, including this strip I call "River Road".  This nearly inundated our van.  We were praying like crazy.

This route to the "Ground Zero" of Melissa had many tight and dangerous turns.

We received a request from the Clifton Boys Home in Westmoreland.  They had no water, either dirty or clean.  This is just the kind of deployment that we love!

We found enough dirty water to conduct our training.

From the Orphanage, we met up with Peter, a local Leader who will be operating the Rescuer in Westmoreland.  We are thankful for his willingness to help.

More to come later!

THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love an support!!

PACKING FOOD...& WATER

The utter desperation of literally millions of Jamaicans is simply overwhelming.

Our small Team of Jeremy & Lucy Dragon, (who have been coming to Jamaica for over 20 years) and Sam from India and I are driven to get absolutely as much food and clean water to those in such desperate need, as possible.

We're up after only a few hours of sleep to travel 4+ hours through dangerous roads with a van full of food bags that we put together just a few hours ago. We chose this location due to the clock ticking on thirsty and hungry people.  Our Lord has put us on this path.

We're up this early, so that we can get there and back before dark...where travel gets very dangerous.

THANK YOU for traveling down this road of mercy and grace with us.  May our efforts be multiplied and may our travel be safe.

2 DOWN...8 TO GO

Yesterday was a banner day with 2 Air Mobile Rescuer Water Purifiers delivered, trained & donated.  PRAISE GOD!

Our first deployment was to John Hess of YWAM (Youth With A Mission). Training John was a pleasure.  His technical abilities were amazing.

John will be taking the "Rescuer" into extremely isolated locations where CLEAN WATER is desperately needed.

Of course, we love YWAM!  You may recall that our daughter, Ariana traveled around the world with YWAM.  It was a pure joy donating the Rescuer to WYAM!

We left the YWAM Base Camp and headed to an orphanage (Noah's Ark Orphanage) an hour away.  The directors, Ben & Lisa gladly welcomed  us.  Their situation for clean water was desperate.

We quickly trained them on the simple operation.  Then came the moment of truth.  We got the source bucket very dirty by putting flip flops and muddy boots to demonstrate just how powerful the "Rescuer" is.

Then I took the first long drink of the "Rescuer's" purified water.

Then, they lined up for a delicious drink.  One said it tasted like coconut water...a big compliment.

Noah's Ark Orphanage has 13 boys and the pure joy of being able to make their own CLEAN water.  In addition to the 13 boys and 10 staff members, Ben and Lisa reach out to their community.

Before we arrived, Ben had been in the small town seeking to buy bottled water.  The Orphanage was just running out of clean water.

What a joy, donating a "Rescuer" to Noah's Ark Orphanage and Ben & Lisa!

Today, we'll doing it again, with Our Lord Jesus' help!

THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

12 HOURS LATER...

Yesterday, I was up early, did my final pack & load and hit the road for Florida.

The 10 Air Mobile Rescuer Water Purifiers fit nicely into my rental Altima.

12 hours later, while driving through St. Augustine, I figured that was enough for the day.  Pulled into a Hampton Inn and checked in.

Appreciated that extra hour (from Daylight Saving Time) and had a decent night's sleep.

I'm only about 3 hours from Treasure Coast International  Airport (Fort Pierce).

There I'll meet up with AERO-BRIDGE who will be flying me and the "10 Rescuers" to Montego Bay in a Cessna CJ1 jet.  I truly appreciate the free ride!

Our plan is to fly to Montego Bay on Tuesday morning. All of this is "subject to change", but so far, so good!  We PRAY for our Lord to "Direct our Path!"

Note, once in Montego bay, we may or may not have adequate Internet signal to post my daily blog (15+ years and not missed a day)!

We now have 4 of the 10 Rescuers funded.  PLEASE continue to PRAY that they are all funded.  That's how we keep the "supply chain" working & keep the CLEAN WATER FLOWING!

PLEASE consider making a donation toward this vital mission.  Here's a link to donate CLICK HERE TO DONATE TO AIR MOBILE
