ENGAGE PLAN B
Our original plan was to fly the Cessna 310 (behind me) for my Bi-Annual Flight Review (BFR).
When we arrived at the airport we found the Altimeter had been changed and was functioning properly.
Then, we noticed that the right landing gear strut was leaking. We worked all day and still unable to get it to hold nitrogen.
Time to engage Plan B. I'm THANKFUL that Dave has many friends with airplanes. This morning we'll attempt to fly a Mooney for my BFR.
Last night we had an amazing dinner in Downtown Wilmington at the Perla.
So, this morning, we'll be heading to the airport again to endeavor to make that BFR.
I've enjoyed my time here in Wilmington with my good friend and Brother in Christ, Dave Walen.
If all goes well, after my BFR, I'll hit the road for the 7+ your drive back my beloved "Retreat Cabin" and my sweet Cindy.

AIRCRAFT DELAY
The aircraft (a Cessna 310) that Dave & I have been planning to use for my Bi-Annual Flight Review (BFR) has a malfunctioning altimeter. Hopefully, it will be repaired today.
We do have a Plan B & C. It is a lovely day to fly.
BTW, Wilmington is a beautiful city. I always enjoy this historic & lovely city.
Well, it's time to go find an aircraft for my BFR.

A SMOOTH RIDE...
Had a lovely 7+ hour ride from our "Retreat Cabin" in the mountains of East TN to the office of my dear friend, Dave Walen in Wilminton NC.
I know that I have shared with you before, just how much I appreciate the good roads that we have in America...because we do. Again, I'm THANKFUL.
Today, weather permitting, we'll be conducting my Bi-Annual Flight Review (BFR). The weather may delay this a bit.
It's good to see Dave. Looking forward to flying with him. Time to head to the airport.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN...AGAIN
This morning I'll be driving to Wilmington, NC, an 8 hour drive, to meet my good friend, Dave Walen.
Tomorrow, if all goes as scheduled, Dave, a CFI (Certified Flight Instructor), will be giving me my Bi-Annual Flight Review (BFR).
Dave and I have flown all over the Western Hemisphere bringing CLEAN WATER & the GOOD NEWS of JESUS to those in need.
Folks, I want you to know just how much I appreciate Dave Walen, who has, so many times, on super short notice, dropped everything to join me on complicated flights. THANK YOU DAVE!
And...I PRAISE GOD FOR YOU, WHO HAVE JOINED ME AGAIN AND AGAIN ON THIS ROAD OF LIFE. THANK YOU!

Here, at our retreat cabin, we pray and ask our Lord to direct our path today.
There are always chores to be done at our little farm.
We are "in between" missions. I especially enjoy these quiet and peaceful times.

PIZZA WITH A LEGEND...
Yesterday, after church, Cindy and I took a little ride to pick up Barbara Walker, a dear friend and extraordinary, courageous "Lady of God".
Barbara has rescued thousands of children, mainly from Haiti. Among the children rescued is our Ariana and Juliet (AKA - Venette). We are ever grateful for Barbara Walker!
This week, I'll be preparing for my Bi-Annual Flight Review with Dave Walen. I'm looking forward to flying with Dave.

TODAY, AFTER CHURCH...
After church today, Cindy and I will take a short ride to see Barbara Walker, also known at "The Lady in the Blue Dress".
Barb is a legend. One of her "claims to fame is...having rescued over 3,000 children, mainly in Haiti". Among her "rescuees" is Ariana & Juliet (AKA Venette).
This shot was taken in Haiti, at her Village, several years ago. Notice, all of the buildings are painted Blue, along with her dress.
To say that we love Barbara, would be an understatement. Her courage and wisdom and strength is truly legendary and a gift from God!

TIME TO GET CURRENT
It's time for my Bi-Annual Flight Review Check-Ride. So, I just called my good friend and great pilot, Dave Walen. He's available to fly with me this coming Thursday.
Dave has flown with me all over the world, on Air Mobile Missions, bringing clean water to the thirsty, mainly following catastrophes.
Here, Dave and I are flying on a mission several years ago. I THANK our Lord Jesus for bringing Dave into my life.
I'm reminded of the wise words of my first Pastor, Roy Stockstill, many years ago,"Remember son, God knows how to deploy His troops (including pilots)".
Now, on this beautiful Saturday, I'm enjoying being home with my sweet Cindy. God is good!

In reading Proverbs 18 today I came across verse 10. In this old world, there is a lot of crazy stuff going on. It's good to know that we have a safe place to run to!
From wicked and wild weather to Wars & Rumors of Wars, it's good to know that we have a safe place to run to.
Folks, I must tell you that the Name of Jesus is one of the most powerful Spiritual weapons in my "tool box". I use it pretty much every day.
I encourage you to do the same. Jesus will never let you down!

HOME...THROUGH THE SNOW & ICE
We pulled up to our sweet Cabin at 4:30pm yesterday afternoon. We had a safe 12 hour journey after driving through blinding snow & Ice that was rapidly forming. THANK YOU for your prayers!

HEADING HOME
Yahn & I are packing up & hitting the road for the 12 hour ride back to TN.
We have accomplished all of our goals & completed all of our projects for this trip to Florida. Yahn has been an amazing helper on this mission. THANK YOU, YAHN!
Yesterday morning, I picked up Ariana at Florida Tech and we attended Church at East Coast Cocoa, where Christian, my son is Pastor.
It was so good seeing Ari and Christian. Ann Marie, Christian's wife, led Worship and Rhythm was on the drums. It was a wonderful service.
Now, on the trip home, we'll be dodging some severe WX along the way. Please pray for a safe trip home.

AT THE BEACH...
Yesterday, I met my son, Christian and his son Rhythm at Satellite Beach, for a genuine cup of Cuban Cafe' Con Leche.
This beach is one Christian & Rhythm's favorite spots for surfing.
The waves were a little "choppy" today giving us some good time to catch up.
From the Beach I was joined with Yahn where we knocked out a list of things to-do in our Beach Condo.
Then, I headed up to Longwood, FL to have dinner with my dear and life-long friend, Joe Polozola.
Joe introduced me to Jesus 55 years ago. For that, I am eternally grateful, for Joe sticking with me until I surrendered to Jesus.

It's getting time to pack-up and head back to my sweet Cindy at our wonderful retreat cabin.

A PEACEFUL MORNING...
Up early and enjoying a good cup of coffee, here at Cape Canaveral.
This morning, I'll be having breakfast with Christian, my son and his son Rhythm. They've been surfing on this lovely morning.
Yesterday, Yahn and I finished cleaning out our main hangar. We're getting ready to receive fresh supplies for the next disaster.
We're steadily making progress toward getting the Little Donkey (our mission aircraft) back together and in the air.
This aircraft is a powerful tool in our tool box when disaster strikes. Please consider making a donation toward getting it back in the air.

LOOKING FOR TREASURES...
Yesterday was a fruitful day of clearing out a hangar. Yahn & I met with Ken, an aircraft parts broker.
It was time clear out our hangars and actually sell some parts.
We worked closely with an aircraft parts broker, Ken, who came with his trailer ready to do business.
We came to a good financial agreement for the trailer load. THANK YOU KEN!
Today, Yahn and I will continue to clear out another hangar, and who knows, we may find some more treasures.
It's time to head to the airport and get to work.

12 HOURS LATER...
Yahn and I had a smooth 700+ mile drive from TN to FL. I'm THANKFUL for good roads.
However, the price of fuel was sky-rocketing as we drove. The cost of a gallon was $3:29 when we departed TN yesterday morning, and by the time we arrived in Cape Canaveral, it was $3.77!
Hope the Strait of Hormuz gets secure soon. Then, we may see the price fall as quickly. We'll see.
Today, Yahn and I will be working in the Air Mobile hangar and checking on the Little Donkey (our mission aircraft).
We are still raising the funds to get this sweet aircraft back into the air. PLEASE PRAY about making a generous donation to get this vital tool repaired.

It's time to head back to Florida. This time, I'll be joined with my good friend and associate, Yahn Gray.
Yahn is our Production Manager & oversees the building of the Air Mobile Rescuer.
We'll be doing some work at our aircraft hangars located at Space Coast Regional Airport.
We have a 12 hour drive ahead of us and looks like we may be dodging some bad WX. I'm THANKFUL for up-to-the-minute WX reporting.
Please pray that we have a safe journey. Well, it's time to hit the road for Florida.

We, at Air Mobile continue to build our resources, specifically, the Air Mobile Rescuer Water Purifier.
We have units ready for immediate deployment anywhere in the world.
We're also monitoring the developments with the War with Iran. As I've shared all along, we PRAY for God's Will to be done, as we've been directed by Jesus in "The Lord's Prayer".
Today, Cindy and I will be traveling to Bristol, TN to make a deposit for Sam and the India Mission, specifically for the continuation of the completion of the beautiful orphanage.

THE PHONE RANG...
I was just sitting down to write my daily rambling blog this morning when the phone rang. Someone needed a little help. Thus, my quick note stating..."The blog will be a little late".
So, after helping, while driving home, I slipped into our TN church, Little Mulberry Baptist Church, where service was just beginning. Now, I'm home and resuming, writing my daily blog.
Yesterday evening, I received another call. My good friend of many years, Debbie Seal (widow of Barry Seal) passed away.
Will sure miss my dear friend, Debbie. Please pray for her children & grand-children as they grieve over their loss.

CLEAN WATER...STILL #1
As we look at the events taking place around the world, with War & Rumors of War, this is a good time to PREPARE!
Remember, there are many things we can do without, but CLEAN WATER is not one of them. I like to say...CLEAN WATER is a NON-NEGOTIABLE. SIMPLY PUT...YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT!
In your planning for what might lie ahead, having a way to CLEAN dirty and contaminated water is at the top of the list.
Of course, the Air Mobile Rescuer, water purifier is (in my humble opinion) the ultimate machine for the job.

WHAT TO BELIEVE...
As is often the case, getting reliable and accurate news is a challenge, especially in times of war.
That is why I humbly say, let us look to JESUS the Author & Finisher of our Faith.
JESUS is the TRUTH, THE LIFE & THE WAY!!
Now, as news casts come pouring in on the War with Iran, there are many news avenues that we can watch.
So, whatever "stream" you may be monitoring, simply ask our Lord to show you the TRUTH of what is happening.
Let us agree together for PEACE. So many are in harms way and the danger is accelerating.
THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE!!
And, above all, let us PRAY for GOD'S WILL TO BE DONE!!

HOW TO PRAY!!
Yesterday, the world woke up to "OPERATION EPIC FURY" as the U.S. and Israel joined forces in a major attack on Iran.
As Cindy and I watched the beginning of this WAR unfold before our eyes, we PRAYED!
At first it was a general prayer and then it became more and more specific, focusing on "THY WILL BE DONE".
I'm reminded of when the Disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to PRAY, in the "OUR FATHER", these Words stand out..."THY WILL BE DONE".
Of course, we PRAY for all of the innocent ones in the cross-fire. We PRAY for our troops and the list goes on & on.
But, always focusing on the Lord's Will being done. In that way, our PRAYERS will be, on God's will being accomplished....we never go wrong with that!
PLEASE JOIN US IN PRAYER FOR "GOD'S WILL TO BE DONE!!"
