MOVING DAY....PUSHING THE LOAD FORWARD
This morning, we'll be moving 9 pallets of vital supplies one step closer to Haiti. Randy, from Sarasota will be joining me today for this great move.
I met Randy recently through a mutual friend, Glen. When the larger aircraft fell through, Randy and I began developing another route into Haiti, by ship.
As I've shared in previous blogs, this is not an easy process. It's often filled with obstacles and countless challenges.
However, after further investigation and a lot of prayer and counsel from those who have gone before us, it can be done successfully.....with a little help from our friends.
Another good friend, Bob Bostic of Deliver the Difference, has been extremely blessed getting his food shipments into Haiti. Bob has given us a number of great tips.
So....today, we'll be picking up our 9 pallets and getting Randy's 14 pallets and we'll be "stuffing" it all into a 20' container down in West Palm Beach.
As a result of a lot of folks' generous giving to Haiti following Hurricane Matthew, we've been overwhelmed with great donations of food / medicine / clothes etc.
Now, we're finding other ways to keep this supply chain moving toward Haiti. Please continue to pray with us that all arrives safe and secure and efficiently and without "great expense" (bribes...we don't
play that game!).
Truly, "All things work together for the good...."
It's time to make that second cup of coffee "to go" and load a bunch of pallets and head south to meet a ship going to Haiti.
As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

PS - CINDY UPDATE: We're pleased to tell you that Cindy is recovering beautifully from her recent ankle sprain. The India / Philippines mission is still a full GO! THANK YOU for your prayers!!

STAY THE COURSE
As we walk through this life, there are many intersections and routes we can take. This one thing I desire....to "Stay the Course" with Jesus!
You know, we all make many decisions every day. And....I don't always consult with my Savior on every one. When I don't....the results are often not what I want.
So....today, I'll walk ever closer with Him and endeavor to "Stay the Course".
Often, all we need to do is "Breathe His Name" and that helps us to slow down just a bit, and do the next thing ahead of us, with His direction.
Yes, walking with Jesus "Exercises our Faith" and without Faith, it is impossible to please God!
I certainly want to please God...the day goes much better when I do.
Armed with my 2nd cup of coffee and a full day before me, it's time head out the door and "choose wisely". Help me Jesus!
As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable and truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!

GETTING READY....
I'm very pleased to tell you that Cindy's ankle is healing rapidly. She's now up to taking Andy (our 8 pound dog) for short walks.
The main thing is she'll be ready for the upcoming "Mission" to India and the Philippines!
Praise God & THANK YOU for your prayers! Now that she has her Visa and the tickets have been bought, the next pieces to putting together an outreach half way around the world are coming together.
To learn more and follow this "Epic Mission for God" go to: AIR MOBILE MISSION TO INDIA & PHILIPPINES
And, our container load of food and supplies for Haiti is methodically moving toward Haiti.
Our next goal is to rent a truck with a lift gate and drive our precious cargo down to south Florida. We're leaning toward Monarch Shipping and the final details should be established today.
Let me ask an unrelated question. Has your birthday passed and....you failed to renew your Drivers License??
Well, mine just did and I've been driving around with an expired license. Mmmmm, glad I found out before I got stopped!
So....today, heading to the Department of Motor Vehicles and becoming legal again.
Time to head out into this beautiful day that our Lord has made. As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

STACKING THE DECK...SO TO SPEAK
Looks like we're moving toward a smaller shipping line that goes into St. Marc, Haiti for our precious cargo.
We're doing all we can "in advance" to help this container to "sail smoothly" through customs. We're definitely making progress.
Now, let me be clear here, when I say "Stacking the Deck", I DON'T mean paying bribes. We DON'T do that. In 39 years of working in Haiti, we've yet to pay a bribe. We do a LOT of PRAYING for FAVOR!!
We're doing our homework and trying to dot all the "i's" and cross all the "t's". We're excited about opening up this shipping option.
BTW, Barb in Haiti is VERY excited about the load that is coming. Barb helps a lot of other missionaries. Praise God!!
The Little Donkey will still make regular flights into Haiti, and will carry in the small vital supplies like medicine and formula and special order supplies needed urgently
And, though the Little Donkey is small, it can still take quite a load as shown in this shot.
It's also very good to have the Little Donkey in Haiti as it allows us to move about the the country freely.
Often, we give folks a free ride back to the U.S. when we return. We love the Little Donkey.
So, it's time, to get on this very "chilly" morning (it's 35 degrees here in sunny Florida). As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

ADVANCING THE CAUSE
Today, we'll be seeking the best port and the best shipping line to get our precious cargo to Haiti.
Will be on the phone and on the move today. We're praying for Extreme wisdom on this matter.
Our goal is to "move" this vital cargo to the next step toward Haiti! BTW, gifts are still coming in and we Praise God for that!
Often, I'm reminded of the Words of Jesus when He describes what the scene will look like when He returns to this earth.
In Matthew 25:35 Jesus is telling us what will be His first Words upon His return..... "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink......"
Folks, this is a noble mission. Doing these things (feeding the hungry and bringing clean water to the thirsty) is very dear to our Lord Jesus.
We're getting down the basics of the Gospel. Yes, Jesus said..."When you've done it unto the least of these, you've done it unto Me"!
I can't tell you what a joy it is to simply do this. We Praise God for so many who stand with us. We could not do it without your prayer, love and support! THANK YOU!!

PS - Cindy's ankle is healing beautifully! Yesterday, when we did Chapel at the Hospital in Orlando, she was actually able to "gingerly" walk on it.

9 PALLETS....READY TO GO!!
Yesterday began with a "pile" of good stuff, a couple of volunteers and a plan to get much needed help to Haiti.
Our team met early and began the process of sorting and packing the supplies.
I must tell you, several times, tears came to my eyes as we "re-packaged" the gifts that have been so generously given. Wow, so much love and sweetness.
Churches from all over our area had donated. All I could think of throughout the day was...."What a blessing these gifts will be so many who have lost everything.
It was exciting to get our first pallet "Shrunk Wrapped". Our team just kept working and sorting and boxing and taping.
At the end of the day, we had 9 pallets packed, stacked and shrunk.
We then rolled them into my hangar that is now considerably better organized and cleaned. Wow, we did it!
Now, our next step is to establish which Port in Haiti we will send these wonderful gifts to.
Then....which shipping line will we use and then....how will we process the shipment when it arrives in Haiti.
Our good friend, Bob Bostic told me about missionaries Richard and Bev who live near St. Marc. I spoke with Bev this morning and...they'll help us walk this container through. Praise God for the Body of Christ!
We still have a long way to go, but, by faith, we've begun the journey and moved the "pile" of good stuff to the next step. We'll be trucking the 9 pallets down to Palm Beach early next week. Praise God!!
BTW, if the Little Donkey flew this load, it would take 9 trips to Haiti! Shipping by container is the way to go!
Time for Cindy and I to head to church and then to the hospital in Orlando to minister with those who are suffering.
So glad you're on this journey with us. It's going to be exciting. We're particularly THANKFUL for your precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!

GOOD FRIENDS & VOLUNTEERS....ONE AND THE SAME
Today, we'll be at the hangar turning piles and piles of great donated supplies (baby food / formula / medicines / food / clothes etc.) into neat and tightly packed pallets.
The Crew: Old (they're still young) and dear friends and incredible volunteers and true "Water Mules".
Joe and Ed and Yahn & Randy and I will be spreading everything out and categorizing, and boxing and stacking and shrink wrapping pallets going to Haiti!
It's such a relief to see all this vital stuff "moving" toward Haiti. This is a major step toward getting it there."
You know, I believe that our Lord is wanting us to develop this "Avenue" to Haiti and beyond. Little airplanes are great, but sometimes, we need the ability to "Heavy Lift".
I'll admit to have shied away from shipping containers because....I've heard a hundred "horror stories" of containers costing a ton of money and taking months and even years to get cleared.
So....it's time to call on the Name of Jesus and just "git-er- done"!
Glad you're along for the ride. We'll keep a very close on this whole shipment and we can certainly use your prayers! It'll be fun to see our Lord move it all the way to Haiti and into the hands of those who so desperately need it!
Time to go buy strapping tape and shrink wrap and meet our team. As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

DON'T GET "BOXED IN"!!
Today, I'll be buying a lot of boxes to prepare our shipment via a 40' container to Haiti. But....we have some real challenges ahead. Don't want to get "Boxed In" on this one.
As I've been sharing, we've been "overwhelmed" with generosity for the Haiti Hurricane victims. We have about 6-7 Little Donkey loads to get it all in.
Well, we're looking at putting all of this great stuff into a Container and shipping it. That sounds nice and logical but....Haiti is notorious for making this process extremely difficult and costly.
So, I reached out to a number of friends in Haiti. I've known Bobby and Sherry Burnett of "Love-A-Child" (a GREAT organization) for nearly 40 years.
They told me that they have 12 containers "tied up" in Customs right now!! Again, this is not easy stuff.
Our pursuit goes on. Bob Bostic of "Deliver The Difference" may have another route for us.
We'll be pursuing shipping into St. Marc and not Port-au-Prince. Bob has had a measure of success doing that. We're looking into it today.
The bottom line is that we have to get these vital supplies to Haiti where they are desperately needed.
In the meantime, we'll continue to do what we can with the Little Donkey.
Jesus tells us to....ASK - SEEK - KNOCK in Matthew 7:7. That's exactly what we're doing!
Please continue to join together with us in PRAYER for our Lord to make a way for us. Also, please remember to prayer for Love-A-Child as they struggle to get their 12 containers out.
Today, we're moving forward on this project and praying like crazy for direction from our Lord.

ANOTHER DAY....ANOTHER PALLET
We're making steady progress on getting a great load of supplies to Haiti. We're thankful for the team of Volunteers that will be helping us to prepare, by faith, our growing supplies for Haiti this Saturday.
We'll be pallatizing and shrink wrapping the load.
Generous folks just keep bringing in more and more gifts for Haiti and our Lord is making a way for us to get it all to Haiti....maybe in "one fell swoop"!
We're calling on our Mission friends in Haiti to give us the counsel and direction we need to get a 40 foot container into Haiti and OUT of Customs quickly and efficiently. Please PRAY with us that this happens!
Of course, we'll continue to fly the Little Donkey to Haiti with vital supplies. With the load that we currently have, it would take 6-7 flights to get it all there in the Little Donkey. Thus, the "Container".
Time to head out and get on with this beautiful day. As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

"ON THE AIR"
We're blessed to have a Christian Radio station in our area. WPIO 89.3 invited Cindy and I to come in for an interview yesterday.
We love Donna Long (the host) and Carol & Randy Henry who own the station. We've been friends for years.
It's such a joy to just share all that our Lord is doing. Cindy was able to tell about the upcoming mission to India / Philippines.
We're able to secure more "Prayer Support" with the faithful listeners to WPIO. Again, THANK GOD for Christian Radio!!
Our son, Christian invited me out to a father - son birthday dinner last night.
Christian loves the Lord with all his heart. He and Ann Marie have 3 great kids. I'm so blessed by how our Lord is moving in their lives!
Back to "Christian Radio" for a moment. We have, here in America, remarkable freedoms (such as Christian Radio) for which to be THANKFUL.
There are many countries around the world where Christian radio is strictly BANNED. Let us be THANKFUL & protective of these freedoms here in America. Let us not take these privileges for granted!
We're also THANKFUL for the positive moves being taken by the Trump Administration toward protecting these freedoms.
Folks, no matter what side you may stand on, please PRAY for our government leaders to be guided and directed by our Lord!
So, on this "chilly" morning here in Florida (it's 40ish), time for that 2nd cup of coffee and heading out into this day that our Lord has made.

As my Cindy is healing, it's a good time to stay close to home. Oh, there are always places to go and things to do. But sometimes, it's just good to be home.
BTW, Cindy loves her new "Knee Scooter". It really helps her to get around.
THANK YOU again for your prayers. What could have been a long and painful recovery is coming along well and Cindy will be just fine for the upcoming India / Philippines Mission.
Now, it's a bit early to tell, but....there is a possibility that a way may opening for us to get ALL of the supplies that have been collected for Haiti to Haiti!
(We currently have about 6 plane loads of supplies for Haiti!)
We're working on the possibility of putting it all into a "Container" and shipping it. Usually, this is a long and complicated process. Often, the shipment gets "stuck" and just rots.
Well, some pieces are coming together and again, we urge you to PRAY that our Lord leads and guides each step of the way. Will keep you advised of our progress.
Oh, yesterday, we sent another Air Mobile Rescuer to Uganda! Praise God for more clean water going where it's so desperately needed.
So, it's time to head out into this beautiful day that our Lord has made and see what He has for us to do. As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

As always, THANK YOU for truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!

STAYING CLOSE....

JESUS IS THE WAY
As I walk through this life, often, I need His direction. Jesus tells us clearly...."I AM THE WAY, the TRUTH & the LIFE..".
The beauty of this walk with Jesus is that He is there for us. All we have to do is call upon Him. No matter what our situation, He will come to our rescue.
The Word of God says...."Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved".
Oh, many years ago, when I was lost and in a very, very deep hole, I called upon the Lord and He gloriously saved me.
And since then, I've called upon Him more times than I can even begin to name and yes, He has saved me out of so many situations...again and again and again.
Our Lord is an ever present help in time of need....even when life is overwhelming.
This morning, as we prepare for church and then for our ministry at the hospital, I am reminded of the ever present help of our Lord.
It is such a privilege and blessing to be able to reach out to those who are hurting. Our Lord tells us to visit the sick and those in prison.
We're THANKFUL for the open door that Jesus has placed before us.
May I encourage you this morning to call upon the Name of the Lord. No matter what you may be facing, He is there for you.
And, as I say every single day, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support. We truly appreciate you!!!

A LOT OF PRAYER....
All we can say is PRAISE GOD that the Inauguration of Donald J. Trump occurred without a terrorist attack.
A lot of folks were and are PRAYING for a peaceful transition and it appears as if our Lord has heard our prayer! Let us continue to PRAY!
And...the record shows that President Trump's Inauguration holds the record for the MOST PRAYERS of any Inauguration.
Here's the story - TRUMP SETS RECORD FOR MOST PRAYERS IN INAUGURAL CEREMONY
This is very encouraging. PRAYER is the way to begin! May God lead and guide President Trump!
Well, here's some more good news on my Cindy (who sprained her ankle while jogging). She's doing much better. The swelling is going down and the pain is slowly subsiding.
Looks like this will not impact our upcoming mission to India / Philippines. God is good and He answers our prayers!!
Meanwhile, supplies keep coming in for Haiti. Gary, whom I affectionately call "Tennis Ball Gary" met me in Deland, FL to transfer an amazing load of baby formula and food for Haiti.
Gary began by finding used tennis balls for the kids in Haiti and it has grown to an awesome source of vital supplies for Haiti. THANK YOU, GARY!!
We're still looking for a BIG airplane to borrow for a weekend to clear out the wonderful supplies that have been so graciously donated for Haiti. Please continue to PRAY that our Lord will provide.
Time to head out into this beautiful day that our Lord has made. As always, THANK YOU for you precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS FOR CINDY
We're thankful that no bones were broken. Cindy has a level 3 sprain and should recover nicely before the India/Philippines Mission. Your PRAYERS are working and again, THANK YOU!!
Today is INAUGURATION DAY. This is an amazing day in American History. Been around for a while and have NEVER seen an election like this one. There is NO question about it, Donald Trump has "stirred things up"!
No matter where you stand politically, it is a wise thing to PRAY for your leaders....
Pray for All People
2 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
So, today I'll be staying close to my Cindy. Again, can't thank you enough for your prayer, love and support.

PRAYER REQUEST! PLEASE PRAY FOR CINDY!!
Yesterday evening, my Cindy was out for her evening jog when....an unexpected rise in pavement caused her to go down hard. Her knee was pretty cut up and she has a severe ankle-sprain. She's hurting!
Her main concern is being ready for the upcoming mission to India / Philippines.
I'll be taking her to our favorite Doc, Steve Badolato this morning. PLEASE PRAY FOR HER COMPLETE & RAPID HEALING!
Earlier yesterday, I had the opportunity to train Danny Thomas (no, not the actor from by-gone days) on the operation of the Air Mobile Rescuer.
He'll be taking the Rescuer to the Philippines, close to where Cindy will be. Their paths may even cross.
It's always a joy to put this amazing tool into the hands of someone dedicated to obeying Jesus...."I was thirsty and you gave me to drink".
We look forward to working with Danny all over the world.
Now, it's time for me to get Cindy to Doc Steve. Again, THANK YOU for praying for her! We're believing God for MIRACULOUS HEALING!!

THE NAME OF THE LORD IS A STRONG TOWER....
In reading Proverbs 18 this morning, verse 10 stood out..."The Name of the Lord is a Strong Tower".
I'm reminded of the many times I've called upon His Name. Just the fact that I'm sitting here...alive....today is a miracle.
There have been times that I've been in absolutely, seemingly impossible situations and calling on the Name of Jesus saved my life! I'm sure many of you can say the same thing.
May I simply remind you of the awesome gift that each of us have in His Name. "Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved"(Romans 10:13)!
As you probably know, I often read the Proverb that corresponds to the day. So, here is Proverbs 18 for your reading enjoyment. The few minutes it takes to read this WILL bless your heart - PROVERBS 18 ESV
Today, I'll be meeting Pastor Danny from Washington. He's shown a great interest in the Air Mobile Rescuer. We'll be demonstrating the unit and sending him off with one. Yes, I love my job.

A CALL & THEN....STAND-BY
When Barbara (AKA "Rambo in the Blue Dress") travels, she goes on "Stand-By". That means that one never knows quite when the "Lady in Blue" will arrive. Yesterday, we got the "Call".
Barb made it out of Haiti....on stand-by. The next one would be if she could get on the Miami - Orlando flight.
The phone rang. Barb was on-board and headed our way. That's they way Barb usually arrives and we certainly welcome her!
After the pick up, we headed straight to our weekly Bible Study.
Barb added her sage wisdom to the discussion in our study of the little, but very powerful book of Habakkuk...."the just shall live by faith".
Some who are new to this "rambling blog" may ask, "Why do you call Barb 'Rambo in the Blue Dress'"?
There are many reasons. But the main one is Barb's "dogged & fierce" determination to RESCUE CHILDREN.
Barb as rescued over 2500 children (many orphans) and found "forever homes" for them. Cindy and I have 2 of those children, Juliet and Ariana. I can tell you, it's a joy working with this fierce and dedicated "Woman of God".
So, after that phone call, our day has been re-arranged and it will be joy to see how it unfolds. A bit later today, we'll be visited by our good friends, David and Judy Heady. This couple served in Haiti for 35 years and it's always a pleasure to see them.
Time to get on with this day. As always, THANK YOU for your precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!

REST....
Do you find it difficult to sleep once the sun has risen? I do, however....managed to just snooze and sleep until early afternoon yesterday.
That's what a genuine "Red Eye" flight will do (left San Diego at 10:30pm Pacific Time and landed Orlando 6:30am Eastern time).
That's truly what you call and "All Nighter"! It's not easy to sleep on an airplane, particularly when there's moderate turbulence along the way. My internal clock is slowly easing back on schedule.
Here in America, today is Martin Luther King Day. For many, it's just a holiday. But let us remember....
Dr. King, who was just a man, with faults and flaws like all of us, had a "Dream" of equality and he fought and died for it. Truly, All men are created equal in the eyes of God!
Since most government offices and banks are closed, I guess it'll be just an easy day and the extra rest will help to get my "clock" back into synch.
As always, THANK YOU for your precious and truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!

FOOT LOOSE AND FANCY FREE IN SAN DIEGO!
Had a "Free Day" in San Diego. My good brother Lorne and I headed straight for the Aircraft Carrier, Midway in San Diego Harbor. What a magnificent ship!
After that great Midway tour, we stepped next door to "Anthony's" (a true San Diego Landmark!. Wow! Talk about delicious seafood.
Lorne and I just basked in the goodness of God. We're very excited about working together to bring more clean water to a thirsty world.
Then, boarded a Frontier flight in San Diego at 10:30pm Pacific Time yesterday evening. Flew all night. Landed at sunrise in Orlando. This was a true "RED EYE" flight.
On this beautiful Sunday morning in Florida, I'm about to go to bed to try to capture some of the sleep that I lost last night.
This blog is short and sweet and Air Mobile Joe is going down for the count. Hardly got a wink as that Frontier Jet flew from West Coast to the East Coast.

Hopefully, I'll be sleeping! As always, THANK YOU for your joining us on this journey with your precious prayer, love and support!!

WHERE TWO AGREE....
A number of years ago, the Air Mobile Rescuer needed a replacement carbon filter. A good friend, Robert, directed me to Michael of TST Water.
Michael went "above & beyond" to make that carbon filter for Air Mobile. It was then, that I knew that we had a friend and partner in our quest to bring CLEAN WATER to a thirsty world.
Since our first meeting 5 years ago, TST has EXPLODED in GROWTH! They now provide high quality water filtration to clients like Home Depot and Lowes and beyond.
There is NO question in my mind that our Lord has blessed Michael and TST because of his generous heart and desire to help others....as he has done with Air Mobile. Here's more on TST Water - TST WATER
Yesterday was a banner day (a nice Birthday present) for me. Michael and I agreed to work closely together in the manufacture of the Air Mobile Rescuer.
This "alliance" will enable Air Mobile to provide literally thousands of Rescuers on very short notice. WOW, WHAT A GIFT!
I must mention a key element to the success of the meeting yesterday between Air Mobile and TEST.
Several years ago, Michael asked Lorne to come on-board TST to head up the Charitable arm of TST.
Lorne reached out to me and within weeks, we met in Haiti. Lorne has worked diligently to see this alliance come about. THANK YOU, LORNE!
Folks, the bottom line of this is that more people will get clean water in their hour of need. This helps us all to fulfill the Words of Jesus...."I was thirsty and you gave Me to drink"!
So, today, have got a "free day" in San Diego. Lorne will be my guide and show me around this beautiful area.
Then, my next goal is to GET HOME. Have a true "Red Eye" scheduled tonight back to Florida. Will depart San Diego at 10:30 PM and arrive in Orlando at 6:30AM if....all goes as scheduled.
As I always say, and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support. So glad you've joined us on this grand adventure!!

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER....DELAYED
All of the snow and ice and nasty weather had the airways rather "clogged" up yesterday. Arrived Orlando bright and early and the flight was right on time to Chicago.
WX was down to 2 miles visibility and light rain at San Diego, but the Spirit crew did a good job of getting us in safely. Praise God!
Was met by our good friend, Lorne who will be in meetings today where we'll discuss the best way to get more Air Mobile Rescuers produced more quickly.
The world needs CLEAN WATER! Our Lord has given us a remarkable device, the Air Mobile Rescuer, to help make that happen and here we are, knocking at the door!
I failed to mention a very sad Anniversary yesterday....It was 7 years ago that Haiti was devastated by an earthquake that killed over 250,000 people.
Air Mobile now has 347 Rescuers in operation in Haiti and we need more. That's part of our mission to California today.
PLEASE PRAY with us that our meetings go well and are productive. Our goal is to save lives in Jesus Name. Bringing clean water to the thirsty and desperate is a powerful way to do that.
So, as I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!

WESTBOUND....
Up very early, catching an "Early Bird" to San Diego (SAN). My route takes me through Chicago and should land in SAN around noon.
Will be beginning a series of meetings to explore ways to manufacture the Air Mobile Rescuer in "High Volume".
As I've been sharing over the years, CLEAN WATER is a "Non-Negotiable". Following any disaster, one of the first and most important needs is CLEAN WATER.
Our Lord has blessed us with a machine, the Air Mobile Rescuer, that is PORTABLE, SIMPLE, POWERFUL & EFFICIENT.
In other words, we can show up at a disaster and be pumping clean water from very dirty water, literally in a matter of minutes.
What a magnificent way to DEMONSTRATE the LOVE OF GOD! Remember the Words of Jesus...."I was thirsty and you gave Me to drink".
So, my Cindy is driving me to the airport. Please pray that all connections are made and the flights are smooth and quick.
As always, THANK YOU for your precious and invaluable and truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!

A GOOD TIME TO PREPARE
Over the years, I've shared our need to PREPARE for hard times. These may be caused by weather, or some other non man-made or man-made disaster or a faltering economy.
We've sensed the need, as never before, to batten down the hatches and build up as many Air Mobile Rescuers as we possibly can.
It seems that, no matter the type of disaster, the need for CLEAN WATER is always at the top of the list.
Over the years, we've proven that the Air Mobile Rescuer can take the most contaminated water make it very clean. Our Lord has given us this GIFT and we want to be good stewards of it.
By God's help and grace, we've been able to place over 1000 Air Mobile Rescuers in 48 countries following major disasters.
Even though we're very thankful to have done this, it's just a drop in the bucket. We want to do more!
Tomorrow morning, I depart for California. We're meeting with folks who know a lot about cleaning up dirty water.
We're looking to combine our strengths and bring clean water to more people than ever. Please PRAY that our meetings go well.
As you probably know, California is experiencing major catastrophic rains, flooding and land slides. PLEASE remember to PRAY for all in the path of this terrible weather.

OK, Folks, we've seen a lot of bad weather, but California is really getting hammered! Winds were recorded at Squaw Valley at 173MPH! - Here's more - 173 MPH WINDS WHIP SQUAW VALLEY!
Meanwhile, this "Atmospheric River" is causing major flooding and devastation throughout California and Nevada.
PLEASE PRAY for all of those in the path of these terrible storms! MASSIVE STORM CAUSES MUDSLIDES / FLOODING IN CALIFORNIA / NEVADA
Later this week, I'll be flying to California to speak with a group who will be assisting us in manufacturing the Air Mobile Rescuer in high volumes. We're getting ready for more bad weather ahead!
In the midst of this bad weather, there is a possible bright side. All of this snow and rain will be helping to ease the DROUGHT that has crippled California. STORMS ARE MAKING A DENT IN CALIFORNIA DROUGHT - 7 FEET OF SNOW EXPECTED!
BTW, some Scientists are now warning us of a NEW ICE AGE! Temps have plummeted to -80 degrees in Russia. There is no question, Weather changes and we'd best batten down the hatches and STAY WARM!!
BTW, I wonder what Al Gore and John Kerry are saying about that. I know, I know, it's really due to GLOBAL WARMING!
Here's that story - SCIENTISTS WARN OF NEW ICE AGE!!
It seems that there's some confusion about just what the "Weather is going to do". All the more reason to hang on tightly to the hand of Jesus!
In the meantime, we're bracing ourselves for what might lie ahead. We know that folks will always need CLEAN WATER & FOOD. We're working on that.
Time to head out into this day that our Lord has made. We're seeking His WISDOM & GUIDANCE as to what to do next. We truly appreciate your precious prayer, love and support!!

"I WAS SICK AND YOU VISITED ME...." - JESUS
We are beginning our 20th Year of bringing the Good News of Jesus to those who are sick & in prison.
We're so THANKFUL to the Administration of UBC (University Behavioral Center) in Orlando for this OPEN DOOR.
Jesus tells us that when we've done it unto these (who are hungry, thirsty, sick, in prison, etc.), we've done it unto HIM. This is such an awesome opportunity to serve Jesus and serve others.
We now conduct 4 separate services every single Sunday in the Orlando Hospital and I can't even begin to tell you what a joy it is to do so.
Here's a shot of our Team this last Sunday. We were blessed to have Peter and Ashley join us.
BTW, when we began this ministry, Peter was only 6 months old. Now, he's 6'3" tall and in College. He's literally spent nearly every Sunday of his life being with us in this hospital outreach.
Alfred and Lisa Menendez have FAITHFULLY served with us in this ministry for nearly 7 years! Again, We're THANKFUL for those who stand with us in this precious outreach.
Often, after we minister in the Hospital, we have a meal together and review what each team did.
It's a wonderful opportunity to pray for those to whom we've ministered. We're able also to encourage one another and share the great things our Lord has done. HE is in our midst! THANK YOU, JESUS!
It's Monday morning and we have a full day ahead of us. May our Lord be with us each step of the way!

We certainly did leave the "Snow" behind in TN and now, in FL, we've got a pretty severe line of Thunderstorms coming through.
One thing is for sure....if you don't like the weather, just hang around a bit, it's sure to change.
It is good to be home. We've still got a LOT of great supplies to get to Haiti and we're still looking for an extra plane or two to help us "DELIVER THE GOODS"!
If you know anyone with an airplane who might be interested in making a flight or two to Haiti, PLEASE let me know. We'll be able to give them all the info they need to get into and out of Haiti with no problem.
Remember our good friends, Bob and Mairi Bostic of "Deliver the Difference"?

THE LONG JOURNEY HOME
Had a few exciting moments on the journey from TN to FL. First of all, saw huge billows of smoke up ahead. A truck was on fire and burning very HOT!
First we called 911 then....Cindy warned the driver to step away. That thing was about to explode. Thank God, he did and it didn't. Here's the moment captured on Youtube - BURNING TRUCK ON I-26
After passing that burning truck, I had the feeling to check our little trailer. It's a good thing I did.
I pulled into the next Rest Area and felt the grease cap on each tire. One was cool and the other was stinging hot.
I had a bearing that completely disintegrated and the little trailer could have caught fire. So glad for those "Gut Feelings". THANK YOU JESUS.
I eased back onto the road and at the very next exit I found "Jim Campen Trailer Sales". The bearing was an "unusual one" and Jim, the Owner spent hours searching for replacements.
Surely our Lord had us in the perfect position with the right folks to get this repair done. However, it did delay us by about 3 hours and we finally got home around 4:00am.
A very long journey indeed. So, we're back in Florida and getting right to work on the "Next Mission".....wherever that might be.

I know there are a lot of folks who could care less about snow. As a matter of fact, they actually dislike snow. Snow can mess up your life. But...we wanted to see just a little bit of it here at the cabin.
As it turns out, as we're leaving, the snow is coming. Oh well, such is life.
It's a brisk 20 degrees this morning and the snow is just over the ridge. We may see a few flakes as we depart.
We're packing up and preparing the cabin this morning. Will be on the road for "Sunny" Florida in just a few hours.
Please pray that we have a safe journey home. There will be a few snow and ice patches along the way. We have a 12 hour journey ahead of us.
This time at the "Retreat" cabin has been absolutely wonderful. It's been a true time of rest and renewal. Our Lord is so good!
We're so excited about 2017 and the opportunities that lie ahead. We're so THANKFUL to have you along with us on this Journey with Jesus! We so appreciate your precious prayer, love and support!!

Time to "winterize" and clean the little Retreat Cabin in the mountains of East Tennessee. It's sure been a blessing to be up here and just "dis-connect" (to some degree), and rest and recharge.
We'll be driving back to Florida tomorrow. We never saw any snow but...looks like there is some coming this way as we'll be leaving.
Would have loved to have had a White Christmas, though our Lord did give me a 2nd White Lawn Tractor as a present.
Remember the little lawn tractor that was abandoned at the airport in FL? Well, it runs like a top and now Cindy and I each have our own little lawn tractor.
Time to pack and prepare the Little Cabin for the next weary guest who needs a place to rest.

DOLLY, INDY & PAULA
We were originally going to Gatlinberg with the intention of going to Dollywood but....Dollywood was closed for the season.
But...we ran into Dolly at the Wax Museum. Wasn't quite the same as going to Dollywood, but it made a nice shot.
While we were there (at the Wax Museum) , I came across one of my "Hero's", Indiana Jones.
He's a pretty cool guy and a good pilot to boot.
We did see evidence of the "Fire", but all of the main attractions were up and going.
As we headed toward evening, we found an incredible restaurant, Paula Deen's. Now, that girl can cook!!
We ate and ate and ate. On the way home, Cindy and I made up a little song...."we're never gonna eat again"....only because we were so full of Paula's delicious cooking.
It was good to get out of the Cabin for the day. Didn't realize it, but we were all beginning to get a bit of "Cabin Fever".
Nice to take a pleasant ride and "rub shoulders" with some famous and interesting people.....well, sort of.
We're coming to the end of our little "Retreat" in the mountains of East Tennessee and will be heading back to Florida in the next day or two. It's been a lovely and refreshing time.
So, as I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

"BACK TO WORK ....WELL SORT OF"
Even though we're still at the Cabin in the Mountains of East Tennessee, the Internet is working and so are my fingers on the keyboard of my trusty laptop and the planning for 2017 goes on.
We've got a lot of work to do and we're "blending" our work with our "Retreat".
Technology is "two-edged sword". One can certainly get things done while "on the move" or "or on a retreat".
And this is good as long as one gets some measure of rest and relaxation. Otherwise, burning the candle at both ends can be "hazardous to one's health".
Fortunately, we've had a good measure of true rest and peace. Just thinking about the goodness of God brings refreshment to one's soul and we have so much for which to be THANKFUL!!
We have a few more days up here and we're making the most of it. We're ordering parts for more Air Mobile Rescuers, coordinating flights and we may even make it over to Dollywood sometime this week.
You may recall that Dolly Parton made generous donations to each and every family that lost their homes during the recent wild fires.
Dolly is a "Sweetheart". Here's a story on her efforts to help others - DOLLY PARTON'S FUND HELPS CLOSE TO 900 FAMILIES IN FIRST ROUND OF DONATIONS
BTW, our cabin dodged that wildfire bullet, though you could smell the smoke. We're THANKFUL.
So, it's time to get on with this day and see where our Lord leads. As always, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

THE FIRST DAY OF....2017
"This is the Day that Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!"
What does 2017 have in store for us? Cindy and I are excited about what lies ahead.
Some may look at this New Year with apprehension. We see it as a year of opportunity. It is as if we've been given some time to do more for our Lord.
Missions are being planned to Haiti, India, Philippines and beyond. We're securing as many components as we possibly can to make more Air Mobile Rescuers. We know that it is just a matter of time before the "next disaster" hits. And....people will need clean water.
Here is a link to the India / Philippines Mission that Cindy will be conducting in February. We are hearing reports of terrible hunger and despair in the area that we are targeting. Our Lord is helping us to put an excellent feeding program together with the help of "Deliver the Difference". 2 GIRLS - EPIC MISSION FOR GOD
After the India Mission, Cindy and Katie will go to the Philippines to set up a "Celebrate Recovery Program". Here's more about this great program - "CELEBRATE RECOVERY"
They will be ministering with Aldrich and James in the town of General Santos on the Island of Mindanao. Drug abuse is significant problem in that area and Jesus is the Answer!
We had a delightful visit with Bob and Mairi Bostic of "Deliver the Difference". While on the India Mission, we'll be establishing a revolutionary way of getting food to the hungry.
Bob & Mairi hit the road yesterday after our great visit. Excellent plans have been laid for the India Mission.
Oh yes, we're excited about 2017! It's going to be a GREAT YEAR!!
We PRAY that 2017 will be an amazing and great year for you. THANK YOU for traveling on this Journey with us. We so appreciate your precious prayer, love and support!!
