PRAY...WORK... PRAY
Going to be working on a Duck / Chicken Coop today. It'll have a unique design. We'll see how it turns out.
Folks, there are so many things going on in our world and especially in our country. The U.S. Elections are right around the corner.
If ever we need to PRAY for our leaders and the outcome of these elections...it is now!
OK...I'll admit that I do have some ANXIETY...
So...I find myself PRAYING as Jesus taught us...OUR FATHER WHICH ART IN HEAVEN...THY WILL BE DONE!!
So, today as we work on the Chicken/Duck Coop, will be PRAYING for our Lord to have His Way!!
May I encourage you, if you have anxiety about what lies ahead, simply remember...A.S.A.P. - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER!!
And let us agree together for our Lord's will to be done.
Time to go build a duck / chicken coop.
As always, THANK YOU for meandering down this road of life with us and especially for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

A DAY OF REST...
Finally, just taking it easy today.
Cindy, Ari and I will be tuning in our Florida Pastor, Gary Ginn of Redeemer Church this morning.
May take a nice ride on our horses later today.
There are times, that I'm just overwhelmed by the goodness of God. Today is such a day.
May you be BLESSED today!
And, as always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

A "RAM" & A TRAILER
Recently, we found a 2001 Dodge RAM 2500 with a Cummins Diesel with a LOT of miles & a great price!
Then...we found a beautiful old horse trailer for a "song".
Pretty soon, not sure when, I'll bring them to Florida to have my great friend, Freddy Randolph, do his artistic, painting magic.
If you have a couple of horses, it's good to be able to move them around.
Well, the rains have finally stopped and we're "in-between" missions. It's a good time to get things done around the "Retreat Cabin".
So, on this beautiful, smokey morning, in the Smokey Mountains, we're just having sweet & lazy rest.
THANK YOU as always, for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

A BAND OF COYOTES...
Woke up to a "Band of Coyotes" at 4:25 AM.
Had to be at least 10-12 of them. We have small dogs, ducks and horses. They don't mix well with coyotes!
I got up and out as soon as I could and shined our BIG FLASHLIGHT (18,000,000 Candlepower) over our fields, but they were gone.
We're into Day 2 of heavy rain. These rains are the remnants of Beta. Going to be on the old Massey Ferguson tractor keeping our drive open.
Such is life here in the mountains of East Tennessee.
BTW, after trying to chase the Coyotes away with the big flashlight, went right back to sleep. Felt good to "sleep-in" with rain pouring on a tin roof.
And, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

A RAINY DAY.....AT THE CABIN
Have plenty of rain here at the "Retreat Cabin" thanks to BETA.
It's a good time to "go to town" and pick up supplies.
Speaking of rain and water, we tested our own well yesterday to check flow rate. Pleased to say that we have a very good well. THANK GOD for good water!!
Also pleased to say that the "Tropics" have "cooled down".... for the moment.
But, as our friends at the "Weather Channel" advise, "don't let your guard down". There's still of lot Hurricane Season yet to go.
Time to head to town. As always, and I truly mean this with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support.

EASY GOING...
Back at the "Retreat Cabin" it seems there are always "chores" & "projects". The work is hard but very rewarding.
We're currently building a small cottage for Cindy's Dad.
It will also make a great guesthouse for friends & visitors.
Oh, it's good to be home...for a while.
THANK YOU, as always, for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

HOME....AT THE CABIN
Early yesterday morning, boarded an Allegiant flite in Orlando (Sanford) going to Tennessee.
One hour, 18 minutes later landed in Tennessee.
The Airbus 320 sure beats the 12 hour drive!
And, thanks to Covid-19, tickets are CHEAP!
Oh, it's good to be home in our "Retreat Cabin"!!
BTW, Cindy's Dad, Ron, is doing just fine. So glad we could get him home safe & sound!
Well, our extremely fruitful Lasagna Garden has come to an end.
However, thanks to Stryker, Sparrow & Ti Gato, the garden is becoming SUPER FERTILZER! What a great system!
Can't begin to tell you how good it felt to sleep in my own bed. For the last few weeks, been sleeping on air mattresses, sofas and "lumpy" beds.
Yes, it's good to be home!! Need a little rest.
As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
The final phase of the "Haiti Mission" was accomplished when Cindy's Dad, Ron, arrived at the Port-au-Prince airport yesterday morning.
The main reason for going to Haiti, at this time, was to get Ron back to the U.S. safe and sound.
Several days ago, while speaking with Ron, it became evident that he needed medical care. Commercial flights were difficult to secure.
That's when Air Mobile went into action. Not only were we able to get Ron out, but we were able train Charlie as an Air Mobile Water Mule.
We were also able to build up our Air Mobile Rescuer inventory to 12 units. This helps us to be ready for the next Hurricane in this region.
We were also able to bring in vital supplies for Matt & Anna, the resident missionaries at Ruuska Village.
After Ron arrived at the airport, we quickly fueled, did a pre-flight, had a word of prayer and took off for the U.S. We climbed to 10,500' and dodged a couple of storms and headed for Fort Pierce to clear customs.
Ron did very well and is headed to the doctor today. PRAISE GOD!!
Up early to catch an Allegiant flight back to Tennessee. Have sure missed my Cindy!
Time to get back to the Air Mobile Retreat Cabin.
As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

TRAINING A "WATER MULE"
Charlie and I spent the day in the Air Mobile Refurbishment facility AKA: JOE'S DEPOT.
In this little room, in Barb's Village, we've maintained all of the Air Mobile Rescuer's in Haiti (currently 347 units!) since 2004!.
We've also trained many WATER MULES here.
Charlie Weller is our latest WATER MULE!
CONGRATULATIONS CHARLIE! Now you can go anywhere in the world and bring CLEAN WATER to the THIRSTY!
At the end of the day, we had 12 Air Mobile Rescuers, 'READY TO GO'!!
Working with us in Joe's Depot, was Matt and his son, Blaine. Matt & Anna are full-time missionaries here at the Village.
On my last mission to Haiti, I trained Matt to become a "Certified" WATER MULE!
Now, with these 12 units, any Rescuer Operators in Haiti can bring their units in that need service and swap out for a fully REFURBISHED unit at NO CHARGE!
That helps to keep the CLEAN WATER FLOWING!
Well, today we have one more RESCUE to do. Will tell you more about it tomorrow.
So, as I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU YOU for your INVALUABLE & PRECIOUS PRAYER, LOVE & SUPPORT!!

ON THE "NEXT MISSION"....HAITI
After a lot prayer & awaiting a break in the weather, we decided the "Next Mission" would be to Haiti.
Hurricane Sally left huge destruction and some bad weather in her wake.
Had been tracking the WX for a couple of days and found a nice path through from KTIX (Titusville) to MTPP (Port-au-Prince).
My good friend and pilot, Charlie Weller joined me early yesterday morning (3:00am).
Did a final Pre-Flight and topped off all 14 fuel tanks, had a word of prayer and took off for Haiti.
Climbed to 13,000' and easily worked between the build-ups.
Our Lord made a lovely pass for us. Enjoyed the sunrise.
Every sunrise is unique and glorious.
Yes....I LOVE MY JOB!!
Landed Port-au-Prince right on schedule. Had a brief meeting with the Director General of OFNAC (The FAA of Haiti) discussing future expansions.
Then Charlie & I headed to Ruuska (Barbara's Village).
Today, we'll be PREPARING more Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers for what might lie ahead.
THANK YOU, as always, for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

THE NEXT MISSION?
Up early preparing for the "Next Mission". The most important part of our mission is PRAYER!
There are so many directions that we can go. We want to be strategically directed by our Lord.
Spoke with Clyde of the LA Cajun Navy yesterday afternoon.
He and his team are already on the ground in the Alabama / Florida Pan handle and have begun "Rescue Operations".
PLEASE PRAY for their safety as they plunge into the disaster that Sally has left.
Today, we'll be working on getting Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers ready for deployment.
Will also be taking the Little Donkey up for a test flight and getting it ready for the "Next Mission".
As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

HURRICANE SALLY DEVASTATES GULF COAST &.....MORE TO COME?
Just watching the clips from Pensacola and the surrounding area shows the destructive power of Hurricane Sally.
THANK GOD for the National Guard and First Responders who are already on the scene rescuing those in peril.
More than 24" of rain and powerful winds have left a trail of destruction as "Sally" heads for the east coast and moves off-shore. GOOD RIDDANCE!!
Here's more - EPIC FLOODING....
And....there's more to come. The Atlantic is FULL OF STORMS.
NOW is the time to prepare for what might lie ahead.
Here's more on what we can expect - BUSY ATLANTIC CONTINUES TO BE FULL OF TROPICAL ACTION
We're asking our Lord to direct us to exactly where HE wants us to go.
Yesterday, THANKS to the rapid response from Garmin & Orlando Aircraft Services (OAS) we have the replacement G-500 unit!
These guys have been working on our aircraft and providing AMAZING service for nearly 40 years! God bless you, Troy and OAS!!!
Today, we'll be putting the final touches on the Little Donkey getting it ready for...."THE NEXT MISSION!"
As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable and truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!!

HURRICANE SALLY ARRIVES AT GULF SHORES PACKING WINDS & A LOT OF RAIN!
Slow moving and deadly, as waters rapidly rise and 105 MPH winds pummel the Gulf Coast.
Hurricane Sally finally made landfall at Gulf Shores, Alabama.
MAJOR FLOODING is expected and happening as I type.
Here's more - HURRICANE SALLY MAKES LANDFALL AFTER INTENSIFYING TO A CAT 2 HURRICANE
Meanwhile, back at the airport, the Little Donkey still has a "glitch". The GOOD NEWS is that the Transponder is now "Transponding". Can't fly without that.
The not-so-good news is that one of my major Navigation instruments (Garmin G-500) had a display go bad.
It's the one just to the left of the airspeed indicator with the horizontal multi-colored lines.
Have put in an urgent request to Garmin requesting they over-night a replacement display. Hope it arrives today.
Other than that, the Little Donkey will be ready to go wherever most needed.
Heading back to the airport this morning to await the replacement G-500.
We're keeping a very close eye on the EXTREMELY ACTIVE tropics as well as on Hurricane Sally.
So far, this 2020 Hurricane Season has SHATTERED so many records and we still have a long way to go. WE PRAY!!
As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!!

HURRICANE SALLY STALLS...DUMPING MASSIVE RAIN!!
Yesterday morning, caught an early morning flight from Tennessee to Florida.
Only took an hour & 12 minutes. A lot quicker than the 12 hour drive!!
So THANKFUL for Allegiant Airlines providing a QUICK & CHEAP way to Florida when necessary.
Upon arrival, began to get the Little Donkey ready for the "next mission".
A vital avionics instrument, the transponder, was not "transponding". Can't fly without it.
With the help of our friends at Spaceport Avionics, we immediately began the repair process. Replaced the antenna & the coax.
Then, called our good friend, Troy, at Orlando Aircraft Service in Orlando. He told me bring transponder itself right over.
Troy tested the unit and found all was well. THANK GOD for friends who jump right on the problem and help!
This morning, we'll take the Little Donkey up for a test flight and verify the transponder is working properly.
Then, we'll be able to go wherever we're needed.
Meanwhile, HURRICANE SALLY is STALLED off the coast of Mississippi / Alabama near the mouth of the Mississippi River wreaking havoc and DUMPING A LOT OF RAIN!!
A POWERFUL STORM SURGE & MASSIVE FLOODING may occur. We're all watching, preparing and praying.
Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves said it best...."
“This is the real deal, and it deserves your attention,” Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves wrote on Twitter, shortly after the storm was upgraded. He urged people in low-lying areas to prepare to evacuate.
“Be smart. Prepare for the worst. Pray for the best,” he said.
Here's more on Hurricane Sally - HURRICANE SALLY "CRAWLING" TOWARD GULF COAST WITH "LIFE THREATENING" STORM SURGE & FLOODING RAINFALL
Time to head to the airport and get the Little Donkey "READY FOR ACTION"!!
Yahn, our "Chief Water Mule" is building as many Air Mobile Rescuers as we can with the parts we have.
We still need to get the LA Cajun Navy those 5 additional Air Mobile Rescuers. I spoke with the founder, Clyde Cain yesterday and they're gearing up for massive flooding.
Each unit cost right at $3000.00. PLEASE PRAY about helping us fund them, as MASSIVE FLOODING is possible.
Down below, I've put some links to receive donations. Again, ask our Lord what He would have you to do.
Now, as never before, I say, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

"HURRICANE SALLY" TAKING AIM AT NEW ORLEANS & AN EARLY MORNING FLIGHT
For the 2nd time this month, another Hurricane is about to strike the Louisiana Coast.
Looks like Sally will bring a lot of rain and wind. We've seen the Hurricanes pick up speed as they approach the coast. We're PRAYING for all in the path!
Meanwhile, I'll be catching an early Allegiant Flight to Orlando this morning.
Need to be sure we're prepared, for not only Sally, but....the other storms brewing in the Tropics.
This 2020 Hurricane Season is already "SMASHING" RECORDS &....IT'S NOT OVER!!
Time to hit the road for Knoxville to catch that early flight.
Stay tuned....the ADVENTURE CONTINUES!!

HERE WE GO AGAIN....HERE COMES SALLY!
We know that this is an EXTREMELY ACTIVE HURRICANE SEASON.
After Hurricane Laura "mauled" South Louisiana...we have another STORM growing and brewing and headed for Louisiana.
Her name is SALLY! She could strike as a Cat 2 Hurricane with winds in excess of 100 MPH. We're keeping a very close on this one!!
Here's more on "SALLY" - PREPARE NOW! SALLY EXPECTED TO MAKE LANDFALL IN LOUISIANA AS A CAT 2!!
It looks like I'll be heading back to Florida very soon to get READY for what might lie ahead.
BTW, Air Mobile has 5 Rescuer Water Purifiers strategically positioned in Louisiana for immediate deployment.
We're reaching out to the LA Cajun Navy today for coordination.
Should you feel led by God to help us fund these vital units, there is DONATE info and links below.

5 NAMED STORMS(!) - WILD WILDFIRES & COVID-19 - WHOA!
As I sit in this comfortable "Retreat Cabin" and look at the news, my heart races a bit. I'm THANKFUL for the peace and quiet and rest up here.
What is coming next?
All the more reason to hold tightly onto Jesus' Hand! All the more reason to seek the Lord for His Divine Direction.
Right now, there is the possibility of 5(!!) Named Storms at once in the Tropics.
Several may not reach land, but, the area is EXTREMELY UNSTABLE and looks like a couple may gain a lot of strength and do a lot of damage with the possible loss of life.
Hears more - 5 NAMED STORMS POSSIBLE!!
Air Mobile is gearing up for what might be ahead!!
Meanwhile on the U.S. West Coast literally HUNDREDS of wildfires have broken out. Mass Evacuations are happening as I type.
PLEASE PRAY for all in the path of these terrible wildfires!! PRAY for all who are FIGHTING these wildfires!!
Now, regarding COVID-19....frankly, I hardly know what to say. How bad is it really? I don't know, but the numbers are disturbing.
Cindy and I wear a mask when we go into any kind of store.
We always have hand-sanitizer. Truth is....there are many opinions and what appears to be a lot of mis-information.
Again, if we err on any side, may we err on the safe side.
I urge you to PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS!! If ever there is a time to make the right decisions it is now!
I'm so THANKFUL to have you with us on this journey through life. So appreciate your precious prayer, love and support!!!
