I do remember Super Bowl l. There have been some great Super Bowls. But....this one topped them all....in my humble opinion.
What evenly matched teams and gutsy calls and even OVERTIME!

Well, that's the end of football for a while. But what a great "Finale"!
So, it's time to get to work. Chores are calling as are our critters.
Later this week I'll be having a PRE-OP appointment with my surgeon who will be giving me a new, left knee replacement in early March.

CRAZY TIMES....
On this rainy day I ponder all that is going on, both here in America and around the world. We are definitely living in CRAZY times.
The world is teetering on major War breaking out on multiple fronts.
How can we prepare for the days ahead? The simple approach is to do the basics...stock up on food and have a plan to have a good source of clean water.

A PLEASANT RIDE TO BRISTOL...
Today, Cindy and I will be driving to Bristol, TN. There, we will go to a Wells Fargo Bank and deposit a donation for the building project (a lovely Orphanage) in India with Sam.
It is a BLESSING to assist this wonderful outreach to the "Untouchables"...the poorest of the poor in India.
In this shot, Sam and I were heading to Turkey following a terrible earthquake.
At the same time, Sam and his family are building this great orphanage. GO SAM!!

TUESDAY....IN THE MOUNTAINS
Will be in the Air Mobile Office taking care of correspondence and bill paying.
Just so THANKFUL for such a comfortable and pleasant home base as our sweet "Retreat Cabin".
During this time...."between missions" it's a wonderful opportunity to rest and recharge.
Now, we are getting multiple calls from Haiti. We're currently working with a Haiti Mission that needs to get their Country Director out of Haiti to receive critical life saving medical care.
These are extremely dangerous and difficult times for Haiti. Air Mobile is doing what we can to help.
PLEASE PRAY that Air Mobile will be used by our Lord as HE WILLS!!

Barbara Walker's daughter, Colleen is home regaining her strength before surgery repairing her broken leg. THANK YOU for your PRAYER!
Colleen is in a great deal of pain, so please continue to PRAY for her.
For those of you who may not know, Barbara Walker has arranged more thank 3000 adoptions, including our Ariana. Colleen is an invaluable help to Barbara and many others.
Meanwhile, life goes on here at the "Retreat Cabin". This morning, I have a routine appointment with my cardiologist. BTW, all is well and my Blood Pressure is normal.
We were further blessed when Pastor Mon's son, 3 years old sang Amazing Grace!
We hope to, one day, visit Pastor Mon in the Philippines!

Sometimes, life gives us a simple sweetness. Oh, I know that there is plenty of turmoil and violence going on around the world.
On this beautiful Sunday morning, Cindy is making a Filipino Meal for a visiting Filipino Pastor.
Our Pastor John, went on his first International Mission Trip to the Philippines last year where he met Pastor Mon. Today, we will be blessed to hear from Pastor Mon and get an update since John's trip there.
Last night, Cindy and I went out on a date for dinner and a movie. It was our first date since our "Nest Became Empty".
Well, it's time for Church and on with the lovely day that our Lord has made.

PS - URGENT PRAYER REQUEST - Colleen Tilley, Barbara Walker's daughter had a serious broken leg (3 places). Before surgery last night, it was discovered that Colleen had multiple blood clots (heart & lung). She was air-lifted to Knoxville. She is now stable and awaiting surgery. PLEASE PRAY FOR COLLEEN!!

SPREADING SOME GRAVEL....
One day, we may turn this old motorhome into an AirBnB. For now, it's an extra bedroom for family, friends and guest.
Needed some gravel to put over the mud from all the rain and snow we've received as of late.
Life here at the "Retreat Cabin" on our little farm is just sweet. I'm so THANKFUL for this time "Between Missions". The "Next Mission(s) will come soon enough.

AN "EMPTY NEST"....
After nearly 30 years of marriage, for the very first time...we have an EMPTY NEST.
Well, as you may know, Ariana is a prolific writer having already published 4 books and her 5th book will be published while she's on this great 6 month YWAM Mission.
Later this afternoon, Ari and her friend Alisa will be boarding a flight in Orlando for Dallas.
After a bit of a layover, and some other YWAM Team Members joining them...they'll board another flight for the 15+ hour direct flight to Auckland, New Zealand where the "Adventure" continues on.
Well, Ari, BON VOYAGE AND STAY CLOSE TO JESUS!! WE LOVE YOU!

GOING TO BE WARM....FOR A LITTLE WHILE...
The last of the snow has melted. Creeks and streams are rising but...not too fast. Looks like we'll not have flooding in our neck of the woods.
Winter is far from over. This last COLD BLAST certainly did test our whole water and heating system and I'm pleased to say we passed the test.
BTW, it did get down to -5 DEGREES (BRRRR)!
For now, we'll enjoy this brief warm spell. The temp will drop soon enough.
Not sure where it will be but....we know it will come and we'll be able to bring CLEAN WATER where it is desperately needed.

Following this latest COLD SNAP, we're now hunting for any and all leaks. So far, our PEX piping has resisted water breaks but....we're still dealing with low water pressure.
So....today, we'll be investigating our whole water system and hopefully find where the "water pressure" is going to.

FINALLY....SOME WARM WEATHER
Several weeks ago, I stated that....I'd like to see a "little" snow.
Well, we got a whole lot more than... a "little snow". However, Cindy and I have enjoyed our "Old Wood Stove" more than ever. That old and proven technology kept our little cabin snug and warm.
So, according to the Weather Forecasters, the snow has ended for now and here comes a lot of rain. Along with that rain is a lot snow melting run-off. We're looking at the potential of a lot of flooding.
With this warm weather, it's good to be able to get in a standard 2- wheel drive vehicle and go to town or wherever.
Now, Cindy, Yahn and I are working on getting ready for...Our Next Mission.

For the first time in nearly 2 weeks, the temperature here at the "Retreat Cabin" is hovering between 35-50 Degrees. Yea!!
We're keeping a close eye on the rivers, creeks and streams for local flooding.
Yesterday I lost an Apple Ear Bud. This morning, I'm following directions to it. Please PRAY I find it. THANKS!

BTW, this was quite a find as the Apple Ear Bud was white and it was found in the snow!

BACK DOWN TO ZERO.....
Well, I've sure had my share of SNOW....& ICE & BITTER COLD for now.
Our temp had reached 15 degrees yesterday and fell down to ZERO this morning. Stoke that fire!
Fortunately, by mid week, the temps should be in the 50's. Yea!!
At this low temp, our regular heating system is not keeping up with bitter cold. That is where our trusty and beloved old wood stove comes in.
We're going to try to "slip & slide" to our church this morning in the old Dodge Ram. We just creep along very slowly in 4 wheel drive.

CINDY KNOWS......
So, yesterday morning with the temperature hovering between 5-10 degrees, had a good fire going in the old wood stove and a couple of cups of coffee.
Went out, started our old Dodge Ram and scraped the ice off the windshield.
Now, my plan was to take the Ram to town and buy some supplies. Well, my Cindy, who is from Massachusetts, strongly advised against my going.
She knew, from this pattern of deep cold, snow and ice that it would be very dangerous for me to make that run....even in a 4X4 Dodge Ram.
From the reports of others in our area, the road was like an "Ice Rink". VERY DANGEROUS!
So...I yielded to Cindy's wisdom and will just wait a bit before heading to town to replenish our supplies. We have a good reserve.
Now, I'd like to pull a quote from my December 12, 2023 Blog about how I'd love to see a little snow and how wise my precious Cindy is from growing up in Massachusetts and my growing up in Louisiana.
Here it is from 12-12 -23:
"Went down to 19 degrees this morning. Clear skies...no snow.
Having spent many years in the Caribbean and then in Florida, again no snow.
Now, Cindy, on the other hand grew up in Massachusetts and is well familiar with snow and bitter winters.
Now, I've travelled to some very cold regions over the years and have had my share of cold and snow. Too much snow is not what I want.
Just a little snow and a warm wood stove will suffice.
That's my thinking about cold and snow this plain chilly morning...for what it's worth."
Well....I certainly got the snow and today, we're into a week of deep snow and bitter cold. Again, so glad for plenty of firewood and a good old wood stove.
Today, will stick close the "Cabin" and take care of Air Mobile Business and correspondence.

We're so THANKFUL to have a safe, warm, comfortable "Retreat Cabin". However, we're aware that there are many who do not have a shelter in the storm.
We PRAY...."Dear Lord, use us for your glory".

In the meantime, we're just taking it easy here at the Retreat Cabin and catching up on paper work and correspondence.

5 DEGREES BELOW ZERO.....BRRRRR!
The coldest in many a year. We're keeping the old wood stove stoked and going on this very, very cold morning.
Last night, as the temp was plunging we had a black-out. We gravitated close to the old wood stove and layered up oon blankets.
So THANKFUL when the electricity returned about an hour and a half later. Again....the "Old Wood Stove" saved the day.
Today, our goal is to take care of our 3 horses, 3 donkeys, 16 ducks, 3 dogs and 2 cats....along with Cindy, Ari and I.
Before all this terrible frigid winter blast came, a good friend, Wayne asked if we'd like a little firewood. THANKFULLY, I bought 3 pick up truck loads of good old firewood. THANK GOD!!
We're well positioned for this cold blast....but we're ever conscience for the hundreds of millions around the globe that are freezing. WE PRAY for them!!

SNOW....ON DECK
It's probably a combination of a little lingering jet-lag (long flights from South Africa) and my excitement at seeing snow (I'm from the South).
Going to be cold and snowy all day. Will linger here by the old woodstove for a bit before going to do the chores and take care of our critters.
Oh, BTW, here's Cindy and Pheonix, our latest "Rescue Acquisition", a beautiful Tennessee Walker. Shot this yesterday, before the snow fell.

Yesterday afternoon, I rolled up to our wonderful "Retreat Cabin" and my sweet Cindy and Ari.
Folks, I can't begin to tell you how sweet it is to be home!!
Had a wonderful Birthday Celebration with Cindy and Ari.
Now, here at the "Retreat Cabin", we're battening down the hatches for some very, very COLD Weather! Going to approach Zero early next week.
We're ready with plenty of firewood and coffee and our trusty old wood stove!!

This January 13, 2024 is just such a day.
For you see, on January 13, 2010 I flew a friends Cessna 402 and landed in Haiti...the first private aircraft to land in Haiti following the worst catastrophic earthquake in modern history. 250,000 + died. I cry...it was a day....I'll never forget.
THANK YOU Momma for going through that tough 24 hour labor (it was a complicated birth) and bringing me into this world.
So, here I sit, sipping a cup of coffee and remembering those 2 dates and have a mixture of sadness and joy all wrapped up together.
Yesterday, on the next leg of my journey home, I departed Heathrow International Airport (LHR) in London on a Virgin Atlantic A350-1000 for the 9 hour flight to the U.S. - Atlanta (ATL). The Captain did a good job on turbulent Minimum visibility approach.
Once on the ground, I was met by my good friend, Will Hume who gave me a ride back to his house. Saved me a lot of money on parking. THANK YOU WILL!
I then hit the road in my trusty Ford Escape for the trip home to my sweet Cindy in our retreat cabin. Got about half way home and was seriously tired. Pulled into a Fairfield Inn in Cleveland, TN for a good nights sleep.
I'm wrapping up this "Mission to South Africa". It was an amazing trip and many new doors have been opened. The best is yet to come.
So, this morning, I want to THANK YOU for meandering down this "Road of Life" with me. Your invaluable prayer, love and support is vital to me and I say again....THANK YOU!!

I feel like I'm running on "fumes". Only slept a few hours on this first leg of my long journey home.

The little Blue Scooter is a huge BLESSING!! It allows me to make these long journeys without a whole lot of pain.
Well, it's time for me to go find the Gate for my next leg to Atlanta.

TIME TO HEAD HOME....
I'm so THANKFUL to our Lord for opening up extraordinary doors into South Africa.
I'm especially thankful to Adrian Van Zell for opening these doors into South Africa!!
Now, it's time to head home.
Will fly out of Johannesburg, South Africa to London (LHR) this evening (ll hours 25 minutes) on a lovely Virgin Atlantic 787 Dreamliner.
Then....it will be a 5+ hour drive in my Red Ford Escape from Atlanta to Sneedville. Ahhhhh...then Home to my Cindy and my sweet "Retreat Cabin".
I'm confident that we will return here (South Africa)...sooner than later!!

A DISASTER IN THE MAKING....
Our goal is to "Pre-Position" Rescuers and train operators in advance.
Again, I'm very THANKFUL to Adrian Van Zell's gracious offer of his "Retreat Cabin" to establish an Air Mobile operations facility for future missions to South Africa.
I've been in very insightful meetings with South African leaders who understand this crisis.
Will be continuing to train operators today on the powerful Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier.
I'm very THANKFUL to have been able to make this critical mission to South Africa before my upcoming knee surgery.

EMERGENCY WATER SYSTEM AT ADRIAN'S BASE CAMP
Yesterday, we located the ideal training site right here at Adrian Van Zell's "Retreat Cabin".
There is a large lake created by a near-by dam that provides source water, though extremely contaminated.
So, today, I'll be pulling contaminated water out of the lake and purifying it with the Air Mobile Rescuer. We'll be training on the operation of the unit. This is an ideal set-up.
Adrian has offered his "Retreat Cabin" as an Air Mobile Base Camp for future deployments. THANK YOU ADRIAN!!

ON THE GROUND...IN SOUTH AFRICA
Yesterday was a time of rest, fellowship and celebration.
After the long flight and lack of sleep, our time of rest was welcome.
Adrian's life-long friend, Darien, celebrated his birthday with us.
The great food and fellowship with Adrian's friends and family was sweet.
Today, we'll be heading out into the "field" on the mission of bringing clean water where needed.
We'll be meeting with prospective operators that can be trained on the Air Mobile Rescuers and can move them into "hot spots" that need clean water.
In neighboring Zimbabwe, CHOLERA has broken out and over 18,000 have been infected. The border, between South Africa and Zimbabwe is being watched closely.
Time to get ready and head out. As I say every single day, and truly mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer love and support!

LANDED...JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA....
After our 14 hour 40 Minute Flight (8500 Miles) from Atlanta, GA (ATL) to Johannesburg, South Africa (JNB) we landed right on Schedule at 3:40 PM (Johannesburg Time).
After landing, we quickly cleared Immigration and Customs. We were then met by Adrian's Son-In-Law in a large Van.
We loaded up the 6 Air Mobile Rescuers and all of our personal luggage and headed to Adrian's "Retreat Cabin" in beautiful "Bronco Horse".
Here's a quick Vid of what will be our Base Camp for the next week or so.
We had a delicious Bar-B-Q and sweet fellowship with many of Adrian's friends.
Got to sleep around 10:00 PM South Africa Time (7 hours ahead of Eastern U.S. Time).
Up at Sunrise, Sunday morning and ready to go. By mid afternoon, the Jet Lag will hit us.

SOMEWHERE OVER THE ATLANTIC....WE FLEW ALL NIGHT
We Boarded a Delta AirBus 350-900 (I thought it was a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, but it wasn't. It was an AirBus. We took off from Atlanta around 6:00 PM Eastern U.S. Time .
We flew all night and 14 hours 40 minutes later on Saturday afternoon, we landed in Johannesburg, South Africa (8500 mile flight).

AFTER A PLEASANT 5 HOUR DRIVE....
Yesterday morning, I finished the "Pack & Strap" of the 6 Air Mobile Rescuers and hit the road for Atlanta.
After a 5 hour drive, I arrived at a friends house (Will Hume) and dropped my Ford Escape there (to save a lot parking fees). Thank you, Will.
Caught a ride with another friend, Nick, and checked into the Hampton Inn near the Atlanta Airport (ATL).
This morning, will take a Shuttle to the Airport and Check the 3 Big Tubs in for Johannesburg, South Africa (JNB).
I'll meet my good friend, Adrian and we'll make the 16+ hour Delta flight to JNB.
There, the Adventure Continues. Adrian has many excellent contacts in South Africa and will be of great assistance in placing these Air Mobile Rescuers in the best possible locations.
It's time to get ready to catch that Shuttle to the Airport.
When I return to the U.S., will have the "Knee-Replacement" Surgery on my left knee.

JUST A MATTER OF HOURS....TIME MARCHES ON...
On this New Years Eve...we await 2024. There have been major developments around the Globe in 2023. From the War between Israel and Hamas, to strikes in the Red Sea and the U.S. being provoked repeatedly.
In China, WAR / INVASION threats of Taiwan are looming. Russia and Ukraine are battling it out & the Death toll is rising.
Literally MILLIONS of REFUGEES are on the move around the globe.
So...what should we do? We should heed the Words of our Lord Jesus who told us clearly that these things will happen...and they are happening, right before our eyes.
So, again, what should we do? Stay in the Word of God (particularly the Words of Jesus) and seek ways we can help those in need and share the Love of God in all we do.
If you haven't read these "Books" recently, I urge you to take a look again. Many Bibles put the Words of Jesus in RED, making it easier locate His WORDS.
There are many other references to the "End Times" throughout the Bible in the Old & New Testaments.
Here we are, together, standing on the Threshold of 2024. You have joined us in many missions around the world bringing CLEAN WATER and the LOVE OF JESUS to the thirsty and suffering.

DATE SET...
Yesterday I met with my Surgeon, Dr. Christopher, and we set the date for my knee-replacement surgery for March 7th.
I'm very THANKFFUL to have such a good surgeon. He did an excellent job on my right knee.
I'm scheduled to return to Africa in early January and will be bringing that Little Blue scooter with me.
I'll be joined on this upcoming mission with Adrian Van Zell. We'll be deploying Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers in strategic locations where clean water is needed.
We're looking forward to2024 and BELIEVING GOD for GREAT THINGS IN HIS NAME!

SCHEDULING SURGERY...
This morning, I'll be meeting with my Surgeon, Dr. Christopher, to set the date for my knee-replacement on my left leg.
All I can say is.."it's time". The right knee-replacement is doing quite well.
We are PRAYING for successful surgery. We're so THANKFUL for the excellent medical care that we have.
We so enjoyed having him here with us for a few days.

THE DAY BEFORE....
Christmas Eve is a special day. For many, it's last minute shopping. and a bit of advance cooking.

Love getting up early, putting on the coffee and lighting a fire in the old woodstove.
It is the simple things in life that brings such pleasure.
We still have a few days before Christmas and I still have a few more gifts to buy.
I've broken out the little Blue Scooter to make navigating the malls a bit easier and not as painful.
Next week, I have an appointment with my surgeon, Dr. Christopher, to schedule having my left knee replaced. I must say, the right knee replacement is doing GREAT!

I pulled up to our cozy cabin yesterday afternoon. Oh, it's so good to be home!
The Little Donkey is in the hangar in Titusville. Paul, our mechanic of many years can perform the scheduled "Progressive" maintenance.
BTW, the Little Donkey is flying beautifully with minimal "squawks". What a wonderful tool to deliver CLEAN WATER & VITAL SUPPPLIES.

A CHRISTMAS DELIVERY &...HALF WAY HOME
Then...I hit the road for home. At about the half-way point, Orangeburg SC, I found a comfortable bed at the Hampton Inn.
I never take our fine highways and readily available comfortable, clean and safe hotel rooms for granted.
I'm ever reminded of the millions of homeless refugees seeking a safe place to lay their weary heads. May we never forget them.

THE LITTLE DONKEY...IN THE BARN
I waited on Saint Simons Island for this terrible storm to pass.
I had several hours to explore this lovely Island. I found myself at Fort Frederica, so rich in history.
Then, by yesterday afternoon, the storm passed leaving me a clear corridor to Titusville.
I took advantage of this flight to bring in a bunch of Christmas gifts for my Kids and Grandkids who live in Brevard County.
Will be delivering them this morning and then...hitting the road for the 12 hour drive back to our "Retreat Cabin" and home.

AS FAR AS I COULD GO....
Had been tracking a "wicked storm" hitting Florida. Had a very tight window to get out Tennessee. Had an alternate airport set up in Georgia.
Bid farewell to my Cindy. Yahn drove me to the airport. We topped off the Little Donkey and I took off hoping I could slip into Florida.
Had 45-50 knots on my nose and could see that the weather was still quite bad at Titusville.
So, I landed in Saint Simons Island (KSSI) right on the edge of that terrible storm.
No need to try to fight that storm. Saint Simons Island was as far as I could safely get.
After looking at the WX between Saint Simons Island and Titusville after I landed...I certainly made the right decision.
The FBO (Fixed Base Operation) at KSSI could not have been any nicer.
They loaned me a car and arranged a hotel room.
Found a great restaurant (The Crab Trap) and enjoyed a very pleasant meal. Had a lovely and restful nights sleep.

A GATHERING OF EAGLES...
Yesterday, Yahn and I met at Lee County Airport to fuel and test fly the Little Donkey. The Ford Escape makes a good "tow car".
After fueling, we awaited the arrival of Adrian in his Cessna 414.
My good friend Adrian & Company landed on schedule.
Upon his arrival, I presented him with an Air Mobile Cap, making him an Official "Air Mobile Water Mule".
We met for several hours and even took the "Little Donkey" around the patch. It was Adrian's first time ever flying a Cessna 337 Skymaster.
After our good meeting, Adrian and company took off for Knoxville.
I am ever reminded of those wise words many years ago, from my first Pastor Roy Stockstill..."Remember son, God knows how to deploy His Troops!"
Over the years, I have seen our Lord bring in the right people at the right time again and again and again.

CHECKING OUT "THE LITTLE DONKEY"
Today, my good friend Adrian Van Zell, founder of AVZ Aviation, will be flying his Cessna 414 over to Lee County Airport here near Sneedville.
Adrian is an incredible aviator and I suspect we'll be working quite closely together in the days ahead.
Well, Adrian heard about Air Mobile and the Little Donkey from our dear friend, Stan Brock (now deceased) several years ago.
Adrian and I will be traveling to Africa in a couple of weeks. We'll be bringing in a number of Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers with us and deploying them where CLEAN WATER is desperately needed.

COMFORT &...A BIT OF GUILT
Sitting here in our sweet cabin, with warmth from the old wood stove and a good cup of coffee, I rejoice in the goodness of God!
For now, I'm staying close to Home and pressing in closer to God.
Yet, I know that all around the world, there is great suffering. Wars in Ukraine and Wars between Israel & Hamas and millions of refugees seeking asylum around the world.
I suppose I'll just have to deal with it and gain my own healing and strength while staying close to home and yes, enjoying every minute of it.
Oh, I know that our Lord will guide and lead me each step of the way, and the "Next Mission" will come soon enough.
So, for now, I'll simply enjoy this comfort and peace and press in closer to our Lord Jesus.

STAYING CLOSE TO HOME....
Looks like I'll need to get surgery on my left knee.
You may recall, both knees were injured in a motorcycle accident in Haiti years ago.
So THANKFUL that my right, full-replacement, knee is functioning WONDERFULLY!
Now Folks, we are PRAYING for God's healing the left knee. If this comes in the form of a Miraculous touch from God or from a skilled Surgeon's hand (thank you, Dr. Christopher) than, so be it!
Either way, I PRAISE GOD!!
One side of me wants to go do "The Next Mission" sooner than later.
I may even have to go back to the little Blue Scooter in certain circumstances.

IT'S COLD...NO SNOW
Went down to 19 degrees this morning. Clear skies...no snow.
Having spent many years in the Caribbean and then in Florida, again no snow.
Now, Cindy, on the other hand grew up in Massachusetts and is well familiar with snow and bitter winters.
Now, I've travelled to some very cold regions over the years and have had my share of cold and snow. Too much snow is not what I want.
Just a little snow and a warm wood stove will suffice.
That's my thinking about cold and snow this plain chilly morning...for what it's worth.
The rambling blog is a bit late this morning. Had to run to town and get some vegetable oil for our horses. Makes the alfalfa & hay pellets go down a bit smoother.

As we approach Christmas and I scan the News (taking it with a grain of salt) I turn my eyes to Jesus!
Yes INDEED, HE is, the REASON FOR THE SEASON!
So, life goes on. The chores need to be done every day.
We are planning our "Next Mission" and preparing Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers for the the thirsty.
Details will be coming soon. In the meantime, Cindy and I are just enjoying the "Season" and growing closer to our Lord Jesus!

A CLOSE CALL & A SIMPLE YES OR NO...
Around 3:00 AM, we awoke to a violent thunderstorm. I went straight to my phone and pulled up the radar.
We PRAY for those who were struck by those powerful tornadoes just West of us. The death toll is 6 and possibly rising. We PRAY for all in the path of these deadly storms!
Meanwhile, another "Storm" is brewing with the Resignation of Liz McGill, former President of UPENN.

RAINY MORN...
It's a cold and rainy morning here in the Mountains of East TN.
We need the rain, been rather dry lately. So, not only does the rain NOT dampen our spirits, but it gives us some peaceful time to reflect on just what our Lord Jesus did for us!

TIS THE SEASON...
I love the Christmas Season. It is truly a time to Celebrate the Birth of our Lord Jesus.
I know that the date, December 25th may or may not be the exact day of His Birth, but...I am THANKFUL that we do take the time to CELEBRATE HIS BIRTH!
Several years ago, I bought a little train set for $19.95. Since then, I've added a few little houses and trees etc....I feel like a little boy again.

We know that many around the world are suffering and we PRAY that our Lord will lead us and guide us to help those whom our Lord would have us to help.

Cindy found a very good tip on Google on how to keep the horses water trough clean.
Put some goldfish in there...remarkable - Here's more -
It got down to 23 degrees this morning and the water trough with the heater and the goldfish kept it clean and unfrozen.

THE WAR(S) GO ON...
As I review the "News" (which I take with a grain of salt) I PRAY for..."Our Lord's Will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven!"
Now, Folks, HEAVEN is a wonderful place and living in God's Will is GLORIOUS!
Meanwhile WARS rage from Israel to Ukraine and in many other HOT SPOTS around this old Earth that we call home.
Jesus told us clearly that these things would happen. Just read Matthew 24 & 25, and Mark 13 and Luke 21 to get a good world-view of what is happening.
So, in addition to PRAYER, we're asking our Lord to direct our path and lead us to where He wants us to go. We're listening for His voice.
In the meantime...it's time for chores at our little farm.
PRAISE GOD, my Cindy is gaining strength every day. THANK YOU again for your PRAYER for her!

STAYING HOME....& THE DUCK CHORE
Cindy continues to improve from this latest strain of COVID. THANK YOU for your CONTINUED PRAYERS FOR CINDY!!
Ariana and I both tested NEGATIVE for COVID, but we're staying home until Cindy is through this bout. We don't want to take any chance of "passing this on".
One of our absolute enjoyable "Chores" is with our 19 ducks. They are just a blast watching them.
So, here are a few clips of letting them out of their "Coop Hoop" and heading for their morning grain..
They love their grain supplement which helps them to give fresh eggs every day. Not only for our consumption, but for our friends also.
Next, it's the search for eggs. We've been getting 6-7 eggs per day...but what will we find today?
These are very happy ducks and they have plenty of room to "Free Range". BTW they always show up for their peaceful and cozy place to lay every evening.

CHORES? WHAT CHORES? WELL, I'LL SHOW YOU A FEW
First of all, THANK YOU for your prayers for Cindy. She is making steady steps toward healing!
Now, meanwhile on our "Little Farm, I often refer to doing the "Chores" on this rambling, daily Blog.
So, here's a series of quick snapshot of a couple of morning "chores".

Next comes our sweet "Ti Gato" (Little cup cake in Creole. This is Ariana's horse -
Then, we throw down a couple of Hay Flakes, for our Donkeys.
