A "SITUATION" IN ALASKA....
We recently received a message from Full Restoration & Hope Ministries in Alaska. It was about the need for CLEAN WATER in certain isolated locations in Alaska.
As we researched this need, we became aware of a fire that RECENTLY destroyed a villages' only source of clean water.
Here's the story....NO EASY ANSWER AFTER FIRE DESTROYS TULUKSAK'S WATER SUPPLY
Now, we don't know if we're going to GO, but....we're looking at it very seriously.
It is possible for us to set up 5+ Air Mobile Rescuers at the Tuluksak School and provide CLEAN WATER IMMEDIATELY(!!!) to all of the residents until they get a new water treatment plant into place.
Here is what we need to do this.
1) FUND 5 AIR MOBILE RESCUERS @ $3000.00 EACH - $15,000
2) AIRFARE FOR AIR MOBILE TEAM 2,500
3) EXTRA SUPPLIES / FILTERS / COMPONENTS 2,500
TOTAL $20,000
In addition to the lack of CLEAN WATER in this village, COVID-19 HAS INFECTED 30% OF THE NATIVE POPULATION! This further complicates and increases the suffering.
As I said, we may or may not go, but we're certainly WILLING to GO! FUNDING IS A CRITICAL ISSUE.
PLEASE join us in prayer for STRATEGIC DIRECTION regarding this need.
At this point, we're awaiting further information regarding this unfolding disaster. As we get updates, we'll let you know.

A QUIET DAY....& A SWEET SPOT
Andy knows where the "sweet spot" is located....right in front of the old wood stove.
Not much going on today. Will dress warm, with layers, and go do a couple of chores around the "Retreat Cabin".
Can't begin to tell you how THANKFUL we are for this sweet spot.
The cool thing is, while here in this wonderful place, we're able to make plans to bring clean water where needed.
We're speaking to folks in Alaska, where in certain places, CLEAN WATER is desperately needed.
We're speaking with other folks, who are bringing us reports of the need for CLEAN WATER in certain spots of Israel.
So, on this lovely Saturday in the Mountains of East TN, we're enjoying the warmth and planning our "Next Mission".....wherever that might be.
We're seeking HIS direction to GO where HE wants us to GO!!

LIFE GOES ON....
Since the Inauguration of Joe Biden as President of the United States....life goes on.
Cindy and I are moving ahead with our projects preparing the Retreat Cabin for the days ahead.
It will be their choice as to whether or not they choose to obey God.
We PRAY, as Jesus taught us...THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!
THANK YOU JESUS for teaching us how to PRAY!!

We live each day listening to HIS direction. We seek to OBEY HIM in all we do. When we stumble, we run to HIM and ask HIS forgiveness.
And, we PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS to OBEY THE LORD!!

SUNSHINE....
THANKFUL for 60 degrees and sunshine today. It's a good time to get out and work on fencing to protect our next garden (in spring).
Cold weather will be coming soon enough. My Momma used to say...."Honey, you gotta make hay while the sun shines". In other words, "don't procrastinate". Wise words.
Meanwhile, down in Florida, Yahn, our Premier "Water Mule" is gathering parts for the Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers. We're getting ready for....the "Next Mission" or whatever may come.
We're THANKFUL, that for the moment, things are pretty quiet. PRAISE GOD!
Time for Cindy and I to head to our local "Farmers Co-Op" to check out fencing. Love working together with my Sweetheart here at the Retreat Cabin. GOD IS GOOD!!

Received news that a dear cousin of mine, Robert (Butch) Taylor, passed away on Friday. Been on the phone with family, thus the "Rambling Blog" is a bit late this morning.
I had a wonderful relationship with Butch and we had spoken recently. I'm THANKFUL that Butch is with our Lord Jesus.
It's a rainy day here at the Retreat Cabin and the chores need to be done. Not a lot more I can say today.

SUNDAY....2 SERVICES FROM FLORIDA TO MASSACHUSETTS
Up early, lit a fire and enjoyed 2 cups of coffee.
We're about to tune-in our Florida Church (Redeemer) service on-line with Pastor Gary.
So THANKFUL to be able to get a good dosage of God's Word.
We'll also have Dennis and Barbara West over for our on-line services.
Then, we'll watch another service with Pastor Eddy from the Mill Church in Massachusetts.
Eddy is not only a dear friend and a great preacher, but he is Barbara's son.
So THANKFUL to be able to have church during these trying times.
It's remarkable and sweet to be able to have Church from Florida to Massachusetts without leaving the Retreat Cabin.
THANK YOU, LORD for giving us these opportunities to worship you and receive Your Word!!
We hope you have the means to have Church today, whether in your home or in-person. We need God's Word to help us navigate these trying times.

LIFE GOES ON....THIS FOGGY MORNING
Oh, it's a chilly and foggy morning, here in the mountains of East TN. Life goes on and we're standing on His Word and waiting for the "Next Mission".
Among our projects, here at the "Retreat Cabin", we'll be constructing a small Assembly Plant where we can build the Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier right up here in Tennessee.
We know that CLEAN WATER is often a major issue following any disaster. The better equipped we can be to get that vital CLEAN WATER where needed, the better.
You know, over the years, with God's help and your prayer, love and support, we've been able to place over 1300 units in 47 countries. PRAISE GOD &....THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
When we're able to bring CLEAN WATER to thirsty folks, the doors open wide to share the LOVE OF GOD & BRING THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS.
Just yesterday, spoke with a dear Brother working in Jeremie, Haiti. We're discussing ways to get clean water into areas that desperately need it.
Yes Folks, I love my job and am ever THANKFUL to our Lord for giving me the privilege to serve Him in this way!

THANK GOD.....
Cindy and I are THANKFUL that yesterday ended in relative peace. There were no (or limited) protests and the Inauguration occurred with relative calm.
However, millions of Americans, including Cindy and me, believe that the election was NOT fair and further investigation into the many fraud allegations should have occurred.
Here's more - ONLY HALF OF AMERICAN VOTERS SAY CONGRESS GAVE "FAIR HEARING" TO ELECTION FRAUD
Well, now we have a new Administration and many of President Trumps accomplishments will be reversed. Again, we PRAY FOR AMERICA!!
This is a difficult pill to swallow.
However, we do serve a JUST & HONEST GOD Who sees all things and knows the truth.
I am reminded of Psalm 37....
Again, as for me and my house...WE WILL SERVE THE LORD!!
I encourage you to take a few minutes and read the 37th Psalm. Here it is - PSALM 37 NKJV It will BLESS YOU!!
We stand ready to GO as our Lord directs.

As Cindy & I PRAY & WAIT for the next 24 hours, we say... "LORD HAVE YOUR WAY WITH AMERICA!!"
As you, who meander down this road of life with me know, Coffee is my "Comfort Drink".
Right now, I can use a little extra comfort.
At times, I just don't know what to write. Those are the times that I lean most heavily upon my Lord and Savior Jesus & have another cup of coffee.
And, our Lord comforts me and tells me to Trust & Obey & Fear Not & Stand Firm!
So, today, we're going about our chores, taking care of the dogs, ducks, horses & donkeys. Need to go buy some extra hay for the horses this morning, and.....life goes on here at the Retreat Cabin.
BTW, we've been PREPARING for this day for a long time.
Reminded of those 10 Virgins, 5 wise and 5 foolish. We have extra oil in our lamp.
I urge you to PREPARE as you're able, for the days ahead.

LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED....
As the coffee was brewing, Cindy said "Scripture before Phone (or laptop)". That verse was already in my spirit.
So....this morning, after spending some sweet time with the Lord in His Word, I realize that we are one day closer to HIS COMING!
Now, for many (perhaps half of our country), the election did not turn out the way we hoped and prayed.
There is a dark shadow of "unfairness" or "cheating" hanging over the election. That does make it more difficult to "accept the results" and move on.
The next few days are critical. The National Guard is being called out in many states in advance of the Inauguration. There are many elements at play that could even delay the Inauguration.
All the more reason to PRAY for our Lord to have His Way with our Nation. All the more reason to look to Him the Author and Finisher of our Faith.
All the more reason to simply TRUST GOD &....LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED.
We've also awakened to an absolutely lovely snowfall. I love the purity and beauty of fresh fallen snow.
So, on this Saturday morning, will keep the fire going and the coffee fresh. And regarding America....MAY GOD'S WILL BE DONE!!

COLD & RAINY & SNOWING &....OUR FIRST DUCK EGG
Here at the "Retreat Cabin", we're working on staying warm and dry.
We were pleasantly surprised to find our first Duck egg. We incubated our first duck 5 months ago and now, they're "delivering" eggs right on schedule.
Folks, I just don't know what to say about all of the "Political Turmoil" in America except....WE ARE PRAYING FOR OUR NATION & OUR LEADERS!
We're working on preparing for difficult days ahead.
Time to light a fire and put on a fresh pot of coffee and simply TRUST GOD TO HAVE HIS WAY!!

I have been touched and live in God's AMAZING GRACE!!
Now, regarding the days that we are living in....Cindy and I believe that we are heading into some very difficult days. The GREAT DIVIDE between left and right is greater than ever.
As for me and my house, YES, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD!!
So, today, we continue to work on the "Retreat Cabin" and take care of our critters (horses, donkeys, ducks, dogs). We're just trusting our Lord to guide our footsteps.

ON THIS DAY.....70 YEARS AGO
It wasn't an easy birth and the little boy had viral pneumonia and nearly died. It was touch and go for nearly a week.
Well, he did survive and is now typing this very blog.
THANK YOU MOMMA (who is now with Jesus) and THANK YOU LORD for giving me a chance to live and serve you on this earth.
I'm still alive and kicking and looking for that "Next Mission" to serve the Lord and see Him move in mighty ways.

STRANGE DAYS....
In the pursuit of truth.....I stand a bit bewildered. So many voices and reports. Who to believe and what to do?
News Reports from various sources are like reports from different planets. The vast divide is staggering.
On one hand, President Trump is a monster and on another hand, he is a great patriot seeking what is best for our nation.
Well, I'm just sticking with the Word of God and leaning upon Him daily to guide and lead our steps.
One thing is for sure, we are told in the Word of God to PRAY for our leaders and that is exactly what Cindy and I are doing.
Preparing for difficult days is a GOOD THING to do.
Believe me, it is better to be PREPARED than to NOT be PREPARED. If you err on any side, err on the PREPARED side.
So, on this 12th day of January we look to HIM to guide us each step of the way.
I just realized that on this day, 11 years ago, was the Haiti Earthquake. Over a quarter of a million people died due to this catastrophic event.
My heart is sad as I so well remember that day. With God's help we were the first private plane to land in Haiti on January 13th....literally hours after the quake.
Our work was cut out for us and our hearts were broken beyond belief.
Well, it's time to head out to buy more supplies and prepare for difficult days ahead.

Folks, there is a lot of stuff going on "behind the scenes" here in America.
As you, who have wandered down this path of life with me over the years know, I often encourage you to store up and stock up for difficult times.
Well, it appears as if the next few weeks and even the next few days will be CRITICAL for the future of America.
I urge you to top off your car, replenish your pantry and "batten down the hatches" because some very difficult times may be ahead.
The Media is not telling a LOT OF STUFF. We've been receiving information from Biblical as well as Political friends.
Believe me, challenging times are coming and are even at our door.
Above all, I urge you to KEEP THE FAITH & SEEK HIS FACE!
Remember, HE (JESUS) is in CONTROL!!!
Again, I urge you to take inventory of what you have in your home and if you're able, fill in any areas of supplies that may be low.
We're currently in a snow storm here in the Tennessee Retreat Cabin, but as soon as I finish this blog, I'll be heading out to replenish.

Woke up in the middle of the night with those Words ringing in my head and heart....FEAR NOT!
Our Lord tells us...FEAR NOT FOR I AM WITH YOU!!
Folks, in all my years, never seen anything like this in America.
One thing I know, this is a SPIRITUAL BATTLE and our PRAYER is that the TRUTH COMES OUT!
There is so much going on that we simply do not know what to believe. So many voices saying so many things.
What we do know is....Our Lord is in control and our PRAYER is....LORD HAVE YOUR WAY!
Cindy and I believe that in these days ahead, we will have so many opportunities to serve HIM! We pray for strength and wisdom and guidance.
WE PRAY FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP...who is still the PRESIDENT of these United States! The Bible tells us to do this.
We don't know what lies ahead, in the next few weeks, but we do put all of our TRUST & FAITH IN JESUS!

Regardless of who is in power here in the U.S. .... JESUS IS LORD and we are serving Him.
So, I encourage you to seek HIM during these days and OBEY HIM & SERVE HIM with all of your heart.
We believe that it is no accident that we are here...FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!
Neither is it by accident that you are here...FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!

HERE WE ARE.....
Yesterday, the Electoral College chose Joe Biden to be the next President of the U.S.
It is now official.....barring any more extraordinary events. We PRAY for our Nation and the days ahead.
However, as our Lord does so well, He gives me peace (that passes all understanding) in the midst of the storm.
So, here we are.
As I said yesterday....."As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord"....No matter who is the President of these United States of America.
I must also say, here and now, I in no way condone violence and destruction. This is NOT the answer.
JESUS IS THE ANSWER FOR AMERICA!!
I pray for our Leaders and PRAY that they will accomplish the WILL OF GOD on this earth as it is in heaven!!
So, on this chilly day in the Mountains of East TN, it's time to go help our new neighbors, Dennis and Barbara West get settled into their new home.
It's also time to feed the horses and the donkeys and the ducks and make sure we have enough firewood, as we're expecting snow this evening.

HOME SAFE! TRUSTING GOD!!
Our weary "moving" team pulled up to the "Retreat Cabin" last night. Cindy had a beautiful meal awaiting us.
We had a couple of close calls along the way and the boat trailer needed some "McGeiver" attention. A couple of cargo straps pulled it together.
Passed an unusual U.S. armored vehicle along the way. But didn't see any other military vehicle movements on our journey home.
Today, we'll be unloading the 2 big U-Haul trucks and helping Dennis and Barbara settle into their Tennessee home.
Again, we are so pleased having our dear friends so close to us here in the Mountains of East TN.
Saw the results of the Georgia Election this morning. It appears that Warnock beat Loeffler and the Purdue - Ossoff race is too close to call at this hour.
As for me and my house, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD!!
Again, WE PRAY FOR GOD'S WILL TO BE DONE!
You know, I'd like to say this about my Cindy. When calls come in to help others, Cindy stands with me and encourages me to GO!
I'm so THANKFUL for this precious "Lady of God" with whom the Lord has blessed me!!
Well, it's time to go and unload some big U-Hauls.

A FULL LOAD....ON THE ROAD
Had a good flight from Knoxville to FL on Allegiant. Landed right on time yesterday morning.
Met up with Dennis and Barbara and began the long and tedious process of loading 2 U-Haul trucks.
So thankful for Peter and Nick along with Pastor Terry and Kevin. Many hands make light work.
We hit the road yesterday afternoon and found a nice hotel in Georgia. A perfect stopping place for some weary packers.
Of course, today, Georgia is making history with the heavily contested run-off for 2 Senate seats up for grabs.
Again, WE PRAY for GOD'S WILL TO BE DONE!!
Folks, there are so many questions yet to be answered.
We PRAY for the TRUTH to come out regarding voter FRAUD!! Dear Lord, let your LIGHT SHINE brightly!!
So, soon, we'll be rolling down the highway to Tennessee. So THANKFUL to have Dennis and Barbara as our neighbors.

BACK TO FLORIDA....THEN BACK TO TENNESSEE
Our dear friends, Dennis & Barbara West are moving to Tennessee. We love these guys! It's such a joy to have them near.
They have stood with Air Mobile for over 25 years and at times, literally dropped everything and joined us on critical missions all over the world.
So....this morning, I'll be boarding an Allegiant jet out of Knoxville and flying to Florida to give a hand packing and driving the moving truck back up to "our neck of the woods".
Please PRAY for safe journeys to and from Florida and back here to Tennessee.

TRUST!!!
Proverbs 3 is one of my all-time favorite Chapters in the Bible.
TRUST GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART....& HE SHALL DIRECT YOUR PATH!
Folks, as Cindy and I look at the 2020 Election, we have many, many questions regarding the validity of the vote.
We like millions of Americans see that there are certainly "IRREGULARITIES" and in some cases, outright FRAUD.
We may never know the full extent of these things, but....we do know WHO does.
So, we find ourselves putting more and more of our TRUST IN THE LORD to resolve these matters.
In the next few days, there will be a crucial Senatorial race in Georgia. MAY GOD'S WILL BE DONE.
At the same time, many Americans will be gathering in Washington DC to show support for fair and honest elections as well as for the final Electoral Count. Again, MAY GOD'S WILL BE DONE!
We have some very dear friends (Dennis & Barbara West) who need help moving from Florida to Tennessee during the Washington Rally, so we will not be able to be there.
But our dear friend and Brother in Christ, Mark Scarbrough will be there.
These are turbulent days for our Country and we PRAY for our LEADERS and above all, put our TRUST IN THE LORD!! MAY GOD'S WILL DONE!!!

BACK TO WORK.....
On this 2nd day of 2021, it's back to work.
Our horses didn't believe in our electric fence and just tore it down. Hoping for some good sunlight to charge the solar battery to give them a little jolt to keep them out of our garden.
The "Rambling Daily Blog" is a little late this morning due to our fence repair.
Earlier this morning, I read Proverbs 2 and came across this jewel. TRUE WISDOM BEGINS AND ENDS WITH GOD!!
As we walk in this New Year, may we seek and find HIS TRUE WISDOM for our lives.

LOOKING BACK....LOOKING AHEAD
Folks, 2020 has been a year that we'll all remember! Who would have thought, a year ago, that the world would be "crippled" by a tiny, but deadly virus.
That there would be an election that left many with doubts about the integrity of the very system?
What have we learned about 2020? As for me and my house, we will TRUST THE LORD!
As we close out this year and move into 2021, we're more resolved to PREPARE for difficult and perilous times ahead.
Our Lord Jesus told us that there would be times like this. He goes on to tell us to be of good cheer for..."I have overcome the world".
Today, the U.S. Congress will possibly be voting for another STIMULUS package. This could involve between $600 - $2,000 per person.
Something will come, not sure how much. A good idea would be to take that money and "stock up" for the days ahead. You will not regret doing this.
So, on this 2020 closeout, let us seek our Lord's direction.

BON VOYAGE PETER...
Our son, Peter, will be heading back to Florida this morning.
PLEASE PRAY that he has a safe journey home.
We have sure enjoyed have Peter with us.
Meanwhile, back at the "Retreat Cabin", life and chores go on.
Critters to care for, firewood to keep warm and simply enjoying this haven of rest.
As we close out 2020 and look ahead to 2021, our faith in Jesus has only grown.
No matter what lies ahead, we know who holds the future. As our Lord tells us....
Cindy & I encourage you to put your trust and faith in our Lord Jesus.
HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU, NOR FORSAKE YOU!!

As I look back on 2020 and ahead to 2021, I'm excited to see what our Lord does!
Regarding the U.S. Election, I believe that there is still much to be revealed. Again, we PRAY for our leaders and for our Lord to have HIS WAY!!!
Well, it's time to go get in that sweet little Outfitter and bring hay to the horses and donkeys and to "Release the Quaken" (our ducks) from their little duck house.
