A "BLUSTERY" DAY
Darrell Gordon and I took the trusty Cessna 172 up and did some advanced maneuvers on a very windy, blustery day.
Darrel is a long-time friend of Air Mobile and a wonderful pilot.
I'm THANKFUL for such friends!!
Great practice means of "polishing" skills on a "Blustery" day.
I'm THANKFUL for this time "waiting" for the Little Donkey's engine change, as it gives time to work on getting that CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) rating....finally!!!
Have been following the "Impeachment" drama and it brings me to my knees for our country.
May I urge you to PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS as our country goes through this very difficult time!!
And I know that I say this every single day, but I truly mean it with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

STUDY & COOKIES
Spent the day studying regulations, procedures and Fundamentals of Instruction for that long-sought after CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) Rating.
It's been a challenge getting our schedules synchronized between airplanes, instructors and student (me)...a lot of moving pieces. We're getting close!!
Will be heading to the airport to go fly a little Cessna 172 and polish up on my flight maneuvers for that CFI.
The Little Donkey is almost ready to fly! YEA!!!
Thank you, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

SEEKING WISDOM....
Again, reading in Proverbs 16, I find Words of Wisdom written over 2800 years ago by King Solomon that so apply to today.
The best thing I can do is to "Commit my works to the Lord" and He shall establish my thoughts.
Though I plan this day, may My Lord direct my steps. The truth is, I NEED HIM each step of the way!
There is so much going on each day and so many variables and decisions to be made, often "on the fly" may I not forget to commit all of my ways to HIM.
Here's a link to Proverbs 16. May I encourage you to take about 5 minutes and read this wonderful chapter of Wisdom and Guidance. Your day will go better.
Here it is: PROVERBS 16 NKJV (New King James Version)
Meanwhile, we're awaiting the final pieces to be installed on the Little Donkey and the clearance to fire up that new engine. We'll then begin performing leak tests and inspections and test flights.
We have a lot of work for that Little Donkey! I can hardly wait to get back into the air!!
THANK YOU, as always, for your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

NEVER ALONE....
Came across this verse this morning...."THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE IN EVERY PLACE". I had to share it with you.
Of course, today being the 15th, I found this verse in Proverbs 15:3.
As you, who wander down this road of life with me know, I often read the Proverb that corresponds to the day.
This simple and powerful verse brings hope and comfort no matter where we are or what we may be going through.
THANK YOU King Solomon for being sensitive to the Holy Spirit and bringing us such wisdom, peace and joy.
On this Sunday, as our Air Mobile Team does every Sunday, we go to a local Hospital, as Chaplains and bring the GOOD NEWS of JESUS and share His great love with those who are hurting. What a joy and privilege.
Often, in the Christmas Season, folks are hurting, especially those who are in the hospital away from their family. Jesus tells us..."I was sick and you visited me".
So, during this Christmas Season, may you reach out to those who are hurting and share the love of God. This will bring a smile to the face of our Lord Jesus.
Well, it's time for Church and going to the hospital to be with those who are hurting.
As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

A FRESH FLITE PHYSICAL & A GREAT MEETING
I must admit, each and every time I go to get my Flight Physical...I get a little nervous. Perhaps it's "White Coat Syndrome".
Well, I passed with "Flying Colors"!! I'm good to fly for 2 more years!!
BTW, my blood pressure was just fine.
PRAISE GOD!!
From my Flight Surgeon's office, headed to Cocoa Beach and had a great meeting with a group who have AMAZING CONTACTS that need creative, efficient means of getting clean water.
It's always a joy to meet Joe, David, Fred & Jim to take the Air Mobile Rescuer to the next level!
This will allow Air Mobile to reach further and bring clean water where desperately needed.
So, on this rainy, stormy morning in Florida I'm just hanging out and taking it easy.
As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

REACHING FURTHER...
Today, will be in meetings with a group who can help us to expand Air Mobile's outreach to a thirsty world.
There is great potential in these meetings. PLEASE PRAY that our Lord will lead us and guide us! Will keep you advised of our progress.
In the meantime, our mechanic, Paul, is making good progress on getting the Little Donkey back in the air. Yes....I can hardly wait!!
BTW, Paul is a great mechanic and has been working on aircraft since 1963!
While in Viet Nam, as an Air Force Mechanic, Paul worked on 0-2's, the military version of the Cessna 337 Skymaster (that's what the Little Donkey is).
Paul is a Gift from God to us!
THANK YOU, PAUL!!
Yesterday, among my errands, I brought little Benjie Bear to the vet for his rabies shot. What a cutie!
Afterwards, Cindy and I went Christmas shopping for our 10 Grand-kids and for our 8 children. That was a LOT of shopping...filled a couple of baskets.
You know, just the freedom to be able to travel safely on good roads with nice stores and, yes, reasonable prices demonstrates just how blessed we are, here in America.
May we be ever THANKFUL & NEVER FORGET our Lord's blessings!!
As you know, I rarely get political in this rambling blog but....the IMPEACHMENT hearings and actions are PAINFUL to watch.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO PRAYER FOR AMERICA & FOR OUR LEADERS....they certainly need it!!
Time to go get my Flight Physical today. As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

"JUST A LITTLE DONKEY"....
While sitting in line to pick up Ariana from school yesterday, I checked my Facebook and someone sent me this sweet Poem (thank you, Patricia).
I cried.
Our little mission aircraft, affectionately named, The Little Donkey (Ti Burik in Creole) has carried the GOOD NEWS of JESUS & CLEAN WATER far and wide, especially following catastrophic & devastating events!
It truly is a GIFT from GOD! I'm ever thankful to Bill Dunklee for donating this sweet bird to Air Mobile 9 years ago. THANK YOU BILL!!
I so recall when my Cindy named our little airplane, the Little Donkey or Ti Burik (in Creole).
This airplane, like a little donkey, can carry a big load, long distances and does NOT need a lot of food and water (it's extremely efficient).
I'm so THANKFUL for this wonderful tool to bring CLEAN WATER & the LOVE OF JESUS all over this hemisphere.
I'm very excited that the freshly over-hauled rear engine has been installed and we're almost ready for test flights and "break-in". I can hardly wait!!
I'm reminded of the many friends who sacrificially gave to help to finance this overhauled engine.
I'm especially thankful for Roger Miller (deceased) who kicked off the fund raising for this engine and for Bob Hamilton, a Korean War Veteran who picked up the ball and encouraged so many to give.
PRAISE GOD for deploying His troops!!
As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

WONDERFUL INTERVIEW & DONKEY ENGINE...ALMOST READY!
Enjoyed meeting with Major Jim of the Salvation Army and Javed, a dear friend who ministers in Pakistan along with Carroll Henry of WPIO, a great Christian Radio Station.
Carroll invited us in to tell about our ministries.
Love it when we all work together for the Glory of God!!
We've been a close friend to WPIO for many years and so appreciate Carroll and Randy Henry!!
From the WPIO Interview, I picked up the prop governors for the Little Donkey.
Yahn has been preparing the props to paint and piece by piece, the Little Donkey is ALMOST ready to fly!!
BTW, Yahn is a great WATER MULE and not only builds the Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier, but so many other jobs. He's a gift from God to Air Mobile!!
It's so good to see the beautiful engine coming together. It's taken a while!!
I can hardly wait to fire up the engines and begin the test flights and the engine "break-in".
So, it's time to head out and continue to put the many pieces together to launch our next mission.
THANK YOU, as always, for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

WORKING TOGETHER....
When I first met Bob and Mare Bostic of "Deliver the Difference", I knew they were special folks.
We've worked together all over the world. Bob usually "delivers" the food and other critical supplies and Air Mobile brings the clean water. What a team!!
I love Psalm 133:1...."How good and pleasant it is when God's people live (and work) together in unity"...
We're working together on getting vital supplies into the Bahamas following the terrible Hurricane Dorian.
I'm overwhelmed when I think of the many folks whom we've had the privilege to work together, especially in disasters.
Of course, I'm reminded of a famous quote from my first Pastor, Roy Stockstill.
While facing a challenge in ministry, many years ago, and not knowing how we would accomplish our goal, Brother Roy smiled and said....
"Son, don't forget, God knows how to deploy His troops".
Oh, we've seen our Lord come through again and again by sending the right folks at the right time.
Today, I'll be joining Carol and Randy Henry, the Founders of the WPIO Radio Network, for their Annual "Share-A-Thon".
These two have faithfully and tirelessly brought the GOOD NEWS of JESUS through the airways for many years.
I love WORKING TOGETHER with this precious couple.
So, today, on this beautiful day in Florida, we go forth in the Name of Jesus bringing the GOOD NEWS of the Gospel. What a joy!!
THANK YOU, as always, for your invaluable and truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!!

MONDAY MORNING...BUSY WEEK
While waiting for the Little Donkey to be ready for the Test Flights following the engine change, there is a lot of business to tend to.
Will be in meetings with Bob Bostic of Deliver the Difference and coordinating supplies to be shipped to the Bahamas. Will be getting my Flight Physical and doing a radio interview and more.
As I go through the day, am constantly leaning on our Lord for Wisdom and Guidance, specifically regarding the best course to take regarding my cancer treatment / healing.
While reading Proverbs 9 this morning, I came across these wonderful verses 10-11.
I particularly enjoyed reading...
"WISDOM WILL MULTIPLY YOUR DAYS AND ADD YEARS TO YOUR LIFE"!!
So, on this beautiful Monday morning, I go forth with faith and joy and confidence in our Lord's guidance!
May you be blessed today and THANK YOU, as always for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

NUMBER 1....
After a delightful morning of flying and performing commercial maneuvers, came home and watched LSU win convincingly over a good Georgia team.
Joe Burrow was absolutely INCREDIBLE and will likely win the Heisman!!
GEAUX TIGERS!!
Please bear with me as I go on & on about my Tigers, but this may be the best LSU team I've seen in my entire life!!
Just another game to get to the Championship Title game. Hope my Tigers can go all the way.
There are times that I just get overwhelmed by just how good our Lord is. Love this peaceful time "between" missions.
America is a great place to live! I love the Christmas Season to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus.
PRAISE GOD!!!
And, after Church today, will have the privilege to go to the Hospital in Orlando and share the GOOD NEWS of Jesus!
So THANKFUL for the RELIGIOUS FREEDOM we enjoy in America. May we NEVER take it for granted!!
GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!
THANK YOU, as always for your precious and truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!!

REMEMBERING PEARL HARBOR....
78 YEARS AGO, today, America was attacked by the Japenese at Pearl Harbor, igniting the flames of World War II.
Literally millions died and the world was forever changed. May we not forget the terrible price of war.
May this also be a reminder for us to PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS for them to heed the Word of God and seek to obey Him. AMEN!
This morning, will be flying some more maneuvers and getting ready for that long-awaited (CFI - Certified Flight Instructor) check-ride.
Our main challenge is simply "synchronizing" our schedules. Both my Instructor, Glen Gray and the Examiner are Airline Pilots and my schedule is extremely "fluid".
However....I've so enjoyed the "Basics" of flying during this training. Can't begin to tell you how much I LOVE TO FLY!!
Then...this afternoon, there will be some GREAT FOOTBALL, including my LSU Tigers taking on the Georgia Bulldogs for the Southeastern Conference Championship.
Please bear with me if you're not a football fan. I just love my Tigers!
It's a beautiful day for flying and sometimes, I just get overwhelmed at how good our Lord is to allow me fly!
And, we're getting closer and closer to finalizing the engine change on the Little Donkey. We've got plenty of flying lined up for that sweet little bird. I can hardly wait!!
Time to head to the airport to go FLY!!
THANKS, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!

A QUIET DAY....
Simply waiting for the Little Donkey to be ready to test fly and taking care of business.
I'm THANKFUL for a peaceful day at home. Our Christmas tree is up and the lights are hung.
Cindy has been baking cookies and our home is sweet.
I love this Season of Celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior.
Oh, I know that our Lord was likely not born on December 25th, but I'm THANKFUL that we recognize that Jesus did come into this world to bring salvation to the lost.
So, on this lovely, quiet day in Florida, I say...THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

MEETING AT AN ALL-AMERICAN LOCATION....
Sam and I met with Missionary Gene Rumley yesterday at...McDonalds.
Gene will be hosting Sam for a few days.
We've worked closely with Gene in India.
Gene is the Founder & Director of "Mission 4 Orphans", a wonderful organization!
What a pleasure working with a great Brother in the Lord!!
Looks like the final component (propeller governor) will be finished by Friday.
Oh, we're getting so close to TEST FLIGHTS of the Little Donkey. I'M READY!!!
Not sure where you stand, but it's painful to watch the Impeachment developments. A House divided against itself....
Cindy and I simply PRAY for our Lord to have His way with America!!
THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

12-4 = PROVERBS 4
As you may know, I often read the Proverb that matches the date.
Today, being the 4th, I read Proverbs 4. This is one of my favorite Scriptures. GET WISDOM!!
Just navigating through life, brings many decisions.
PRAISE GOD for HIS WISDOM!
Our Lord wants us to have HIS WISDOM & He is willing to give to all liberally. We simply need to ASK for it!
This Scripture reminds us that we need God's Wisdom every day and in all that we do.
I also have another saying that is especially helpful. It is....A.S.A.P. (Always Say A Prayer).
Just going through life, on a normal day, things often come at us quickly.
So, today, may we call upon our Lord and ask Him to guide us through this day.
IF we'll take just a moment and PRAY & ASK FOR WISDOM, before responding....things will go much better.
Believe me when I say this, I NEED this message in my life and in sharing it with you, I'm reminding myself of this powerful message. GET WISDOM!!
BTW, here's a link to Proverbs 4 for your enjoyment & edification - PROVERBS 4 NKJV / ESV
So, as I say every single day, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

A WONDERFUL DAY AT DISNEY....
It was a last minute decision to join Cindy, Ari, Sam & Hena at Disney.
Oh, I had things scheduled, but it just took a call or two to quickly re-arrange things and allow this wonderful day with our dear friends.
It was, of course, Sam and Hena's first time to Disney and they had a blast.
PRAISE GOD that we could share Disney with them.
After a lovely day at Disney, Hena needed to get to Dallas to speak in a church tomorrow, so we dropped her at the airport.
We've worked so closely with Sam and his wonderful family in India bringing the Good News of Jesus and hope to the hopeless and food and clean water to the hungry and thirsty.
After dropping Hena at the airport, we found a nice "Indian Restuarant" and enjoyed a delicious Indian meal with Sam.
Sam is getting used to "Steak & Shake" and Pizza, but he misses Indian food. We hit the target with a great meal.
We'll have Sam with us for a few more days.
So, back to work today and as I say every single day, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

Had my day all planned out when Cindy asked...."Why don't you come to Disney with us?"
Mmmm, not a bad idea.
Cindy, had earlier, planned to take Sam and his sister, Hena (from India) to Disney World as a special treat.
So, today, Cindy, Ari, Sam and Hena (Hannah) and I will be going to Disney World.
Love these last minute changes, especially one that ends up at Disney World.

FRIENDS FROM AFAR & A PERFECT SEASON
Air Mobile has worked closely with Sam and his family for a number of years bringing the Good News of Jesus along with food and clean water to the "Untouchables" in India.
We're blessed to have Sam and Hannah with us!!
We'll be ministering together at the Hospital in Orlando today.
Last night, my LSU Tigers completed the regular season (12-0) with a convincing victory of arch rival Texas A&M (50-7).
Joe "Burreaux" will likely win the Heisman Trophy. What a season. Been following the Tigers all my life and this is probably the BEST TIGER TEAM I've ever seen.
GEAUX TIGERS!!!
Next stop for these incredible Tigers...the Southeast Conference Championship game against a very good Georgia Bulldog team. May the best team win.
Well, it's time to get to Church and then to the Hospital. As always, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!!
