JUST A MATTER OF HOURS....TIME MARCHES ON...
On this New Years Eve...we await 2024. There have been major developments around the Globe in 2023. From the War between Israel and Hamas, to strikes in the Red Sea and the U.S. being provoked repeatedly.
In China, WAR / INVASION threats of Taiwan are looming. Russia and Ukraine are battling it out & the Death toll is rising.
Literally MILLIONS of REFUGEES are on the move around the globe.
So...what should we do? We should heed the Words of our Lord Jesus who told us clearly that these things will happen...and they are happening, right before our eyes.
So, again, what should we do? Stay in the Word of God (particularly the Words of Jesus) and seek ways we can help those in need and share the Love of God in all we do.
If you haven't read these "Books" recently, I urge you to take a look again. Many Bibles put the Words of Jesus in RED, making it easier locate His WORDS.
There are many other references to the "End Times" throughout the Bible in the Old & New Testaments.
Here we are, together, standing on the Threshold of 2024. You have joined us in many missions around the world bringing CLEAN WATER and the LOVE OF JESUS to the thirsty and suffering.

DATE SET...
Yesterday I met with my Surgeon, Dr. Christopher, and we set the date for my knee-replacement surgery for March 7th.
I'm very THANKFFUL to have such a good surgeon. He did an excellent job on my right knee.
I'm scheduled to return to Africa in early January and will be bringing that Little Blue scooter with me.
I'll be joined on this upcoming mission with Adrian Van Zell. We'll be deploying Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers in strategic locations where clean water is needed.
We're looking forward to2024 and BELIEVING GOD for GREAT THINGS IN HIS NAME!

SCHEDULING SURGERY...
This morning, I'll be meeting with my Surgeon, Dr. Christopher, to set the date for my knee-replacement on my left leg.
All I can say is.."it's time". The right knee-replacement is doing quite well.
We are PRAYING for successful surgery. We're so THANKFUL for the excellent medical care that we have.
We so enjoyed having him here with us for a few days.
Meanwhile, we monitor world events and PRAY for our Lord's will to be done in this old world.

HOME SWEET HOME....
Love getting up early, putting on the coffee and lighting a fire in the old woodstove.
It is the simple things in life that brings such pleasure.
We still have a few days before Christmas and I still have a few more gifts to buy.
I've broken out the little Blue Scooter to make navigating the malls a bit easier and not as painful.
Next week, I have an appointment with my surgeon, Dr. Christopher, to schedule having my left knee replaced. I must say, the right knee replacement is doing GREAT!
Well, it's time to feed the horses and the ducks. I want you to know just how much I appreciate your faithful prayer, love and support!!!

HOME...SAFE!
I pulled up to our cozy cabin yesterday afternoon. Oh, it's so good to be home!
The Little Donkey is in the hangar in Titusville. Paul, our mechanic of many years can perform the scheduled "Progressive" maintenance.
BTW, the Little Donkey is flying beautifully with minimal "squawks". What a wonderful tool to deliver CLEAN WATER & VITAL SUPPPLIES.

A CHRISTMAS DELIVERY &...HALF WAY HOME
Then...I hit the road for home. At about the half-way point, Orangeburg SC, I found a comfortable bed at the Hampton Inn.
I never take our fine highways and readily available comfortable, clean and safe hotel rooms for granted.
I'm ever reminded of the millions of homeless refugees seeking a safe place to lay their weary heads. May we never forget them.
Well, it's time to pack up and hit the road for the 5+ hour drive to our Retreat Cabin and my sweet Cindy and Ari.

THE LITTLE DONKEY...IN THE BARN
I waited on Saint Simons Island for this terrible storm to pass.
I had several hours to explore this lovely Island. I found myself at Fort Frederica, so rich in history.
Then, by yesterday afternoon, the storm passed leaving me a clear corridor to Titusville.
I took advantage of this flight to bring in a bunch of Christmas gifts for my Kids and Grandkids who live in Brevard County.
Will be delivering them this morning and then...hitting the road for the 12 hour drive back to our "Retreat Cabin" and home.

AS FAR AS I COULD GO....
Had been tracking a "wicked storm" hitting Florida. Had a very tight window to get out Tennessee. Had an alternate airport set up in Georgia.
Bid farewell to my Cindy. Yahn drove me to the airport. We topped off the Little Donkey and I took off hoping I could slip into Florida.
Had 45-50 knots on my nose and could see that the weather was still quite bad at Titusville.
So, I landed in Saint Simons Island (KSSI) right on the edge of that terrible storm.
No need to try to fight that storm. Saint Simons Island was as far as I could safely get.
After looking at the WX between Saint Simons Island and Titusville after I landed...I certainly made the right decision.
The FBO (Fixed Base Operation) at KSSI could not have been any nicer.
They loaned me a car and arranged a hotel room.
Found a great restaurant (The Crab Trap) and enjoyed a very pleasant meal. Had a lovely and restful nights sleep.

A GATHERING OF EAGLES...
Yesterday, Yahn and I met at Lee County Airport to fuel and test fly the Little Donkey. The Ford Escape makes a good "tow car".
After fueling, we awaited the arrival of Adrian in his Cessna 414.
My good friend Adrian & Company landed on schedule.
Upon his arrival, I presented him with an Air Mobile Cap, making him an Official "Air Mobile Water Mule".
We met for several hours and even took the "Little Donkey" around the patch. It was Adrian's first time ever flying a Cessna 337 Skymaster.
After our good meeting, Adrian and company took off for Knoxville.
I am ever reminded of those wise words many years ago, from my first Pastor Roy Stockstill..."Remember son, God knows how to deploy His Troops!"
Over the years, I have seen our Lord bring in the right people at the right time again and again and again.

CHECKING OUT "THE LITTLE DONKEY"
Today, my good friend Adrian Van Zell, founder of AVZ Aviation, will be flying his Cessna 414 over to Lee County Airport here near Sneedville.
Adrian is an incredible aviator and I suspect we'll be working quite closely together in the days ahead.
Well, Adrian heard about Air Mobile and the Little Donkey from our dear friend, Stan Brock (now deceased) several years ago.
Adrian and I will be traveling to Africa in a couple of weeks. We'll be bringing in a number of Air Mobile Rescuer water purifiers with us and deploying them where CLEAN WATER is desperately needed.

COMFORT &...A BIT OF GUILT
Sitting here in our sweet cabin, with warmth from the old wood stove and a good cup of coffee, I rejoice in the goodness of God!
For now, I'm staying close to Home and pressing in closer to God.
Yet, I know that all around the world, there is great suffering. Wars in Ukraine and Wars between Israel & Hamas and millions of refugees seeking asylum around the world.
I suppose I'll just have to deal with it and gain my own healing and strength while staying close to home and yes, enjoying every minute of it.
Oh, I know that our Lord will guide and lead me each step of the way, and the "Next Mission" will come soon enough.
So, for now, I'll simply enjoy this comfort and peace and press in closer to our Lord Jesus.

STAYING CLOSE TO HOME....
Looks like I'll need to get surgery on my left knee.
You may recall, both knees were injured in a motorcycle accident in Haiti years ago.
So THANKFUL that my right, full-replacement, knee is functioning WONDERFULLY!
Now Folks, we are PRAYING for God's healing the left knee. If this comes in the form of a Miraculous touch from God or from a skilled Surgeon's hand (thank you, Dr. Christopher) than, so be it!
Either way, I PRAISE GOD!!
One side of me wants to go do "The Next Mission" sooner than later.
I may even have to go back to the little Blue Scooter in certain circumstances.

IT'S COLD...NO SNOW
Went down to 19 degrees this morning. Clear skies...no snow.
Having spent many years in the Caribbean and then in Florida, again no snow.
Now, Cindy, on the other hand grew up in Massachusetts and is well familiar with snow and bitter winters.
Now, I've travelled to some very cold regions over the years and have had my share of cold and snow. Too much snow is not what I want.
Just a little snow and a warm wood stove will suffice.
That's my thinking about cold and snow this plain chilly morning...for what it's worth.
The rambling blog is a bit late this morning. Had to run to town and get some vegetable oil for our horses. Makes the alfalfa & hay pellets go down a bit smoother.

Around 3:00 AM, we awoke to a violent thunderstorm. I went straight to my phone and pulled up the radar.
We PRAY for those who were struck by those powerful tornadoes just West of us. The death toll is 6 and possibly rising. We PRAY for all in the path of these deadly storms!
Meanwhile, another "Storm" is brewing with the Resignation of Liz McGill, former President of UPENN.

TIS THE SEASON...
I love the Christmas Season. It is truly a time to Celebrate the Birth of our Lord Jesus.
I know that the date, December 25th may or may not be the exact day of His Birth, but...I am THANKFUL that we do take the time to CELEBRATE HIS BIRTH!
Several years ago, I bought a little train set for $19.95. Since then, I've added a few little houses and trees etc....I feel like a little boy again.

It got down to 23 degrees this morning and the water trough with the heater and the goldfish kept it clean and unfrozen.

THE WAR(S) GO ON...
As I review the "News" (which I take with a grain of salt) I PRAY for..."Our Lord's Will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven!"
Now, Folks, HEAVEN is a wonderful place and living in God's Will is GLORIOUS!
Meanwhile WARS rage from Israel to Ukraine and in many other HOT SPOTS around this old Earth that we call home.
Jesus told us clearly that these things would happen. Just read Matthew 24 & 25, and Mark 13 and Luke 21 to get a good world-view of what is happening.
So, in addition to PRAYER, we're asking our Lord to direct our path and lead us to where He wants us to go. We're listening for His voice.
In the meantime...it's time for chores at our little farm.

STAYING HOME....& THE DUCK CHORE
Cindy continues to improve from this latest strain of COVID. THANK YOU for your CONTINUED PRAYERS FOR CINDY!!
Ariana and I both tested NEGATIVE for COVID, but we're staying home until Cindy is through this bout. We don't want to take any chance of "passing this on".
One of our absolute enjoyable "Chores" is with our 19 ducks. They are just a blast watching them.
So, here are a few clips of letting them out of their "Coop Hoop" and heading for their morning grain..
They love their grain supplement which helps them to give fresh eggs every day. Not only for our consumption, but for our friends also.
Next, it's the search for eggs. We've been getting 6-7 eggs per day...but what will we find today?
These are very happy ducks and they have plenty of room to "Free Range". BTW they always show up for their peaceful and cozy place to lay every evening.

CHORES? WHAT CHORES? WELL, I'LL SHOW YOU A FEW
First of all, THANK YOU for your prayers for Cindy. She is making steady steps toward healing!
Now, meanwhile on our "Little Farm, I often refer to doing the "Chores" on this rambling, daily Blog.
So, here's a series of quick snapshot of a couple of morning "chores".
Here's Sparrow, Cindy's horse eating our special winter mixture -
Next comes our sweet "Ti Gato" (Little cup cake in Creole. This is Ariana's horse -
Then, we throw down a couple of Hay Flakes, for our Donkeys.

Cindy is improving and we THANK YOU for your prayers.
As we're getting ready for our "Next Mission" we're building Air Mobile Rescuers in preparation for...wherever our Lord wants us to go.
We have been in contact with organizations working in the war zone between Israel and Hamas. We're in deep prayer as to how we can help.

Meanwhile, we're holding down the fort and taking care of our usual chores and keeping our water troughs from freezing. It's plumb chilly here.
BTW, all of our pipes withstood the 10 degree deep freeze. PEX works.

14 DEGREES...A BLACK-OUT & A LATE BLOG
We awoke to a very chilly 14 degrees. Had that first cup of coffee and then...a BLACK OUT.
So glad for the trusty old woodstove. It doesn't need a "User Name" or a "Password" or electricity to work.
Just throw a little kindling, a split log and a match and watch it work.

Can cook a meal and make a chilly cabin very warm and cozy.
But, I needed a signal to finish my daily blog. Was about to head to town to find one when our Ferrier showed up.
We're blessed with a good one. His name is Moses and is the best ferrier we've ever had. Very reliable, and does an excellent job.
So, before heading to town to finish the blog, had to help Moses "capture" our horses and donkeys.
Once the hoof trimming was done, I raced to town to finish my daily, rambling blog!
Thus, the late (better late than never) blog.
Sure do appreciate your precious prayer, love and support!!

CHILLY...BRRRR
The temperature is plummeting (going down to 19*) tonight here at our sweet cabin.
Sure am glad for the old wood-stove and plenty of firewood. What an efficient means of heat & cooking and we're able to clean up fallen trees on our farm.
Just watching the old woodstove burn brings us so much joy...especially on a CHILLY morning with a delicious cup of coffee and your sweetheart! Cindy and I love these mornings!
BTW, I hope our government doesn't outlaw wood stoves....you never know.
Well, it's time to bundle up and go out and check our critters (horses, donkeys & ducks) to be sure their water isn't frozen.

It is our privilege to help Sam and the on-going progress of building a wonderful orphanage in a desperately poor region of India.
Sam has joined me on multiple missions around the world and been an invaluable help!

60 YEARS AGO TODAY....I REMEMBER IT WELL
I was 12 years old, in the 8th Grade at our "Lady of Mercy" Catholic School when the announcement came over the loud speaker.
The whole class cried and prayed. A bit later, the news came that President John F. Kennedy was DEAD. My heart broke that day.
Many of the actual "Witnesses" at the scene have likewise passed away as is the Memory. May we never forget.

I've noticed that fewer and fewer members of the media even cover this tragic story.

EVEN THOUGH IT RAINED....WE HAD A PARTY!!
The weather forecast was spot on. It did rain, but our PARTY went ON & we had a FULL HOUSE (50+)!!
Mike Gibson played some genuine "Blue Grass" and even told the story about a very special little squirrel.
We just had a wonderful time together with dear friends to help send our sweet Ariana and her close friend Alisa off on this epic 6 month Mission to New Zealand & Beyond.
We want to THANK all of you who came and those who are PRAYING for Ariana and Alisa!

I must also say...my Cindy is an awesome cook and the food will be delicious. Cindy is ready...

THE DAY BEFORE....
So many pieces are coming together for this great event.
Our latest construction project is nearing completion. Here's a snapshot video.
Even though rain is in the forecast for tomorrow evening, we're setting up under our big covered deck.
If you're planning to come, bring an umbrella to get you from the parking area to our covered deck.
Now, every farmer in our neck of the woods is PRAYING for RAIN! It's been really dry and...we NEED THE RAIN!
We're just asking our Lord bring the RAIN, but just hold it off from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm tomorrow evening and then.....LET IT RAIN!!

ARIANA GRACE....AN AWESOME STORY!
When Cindy and I agreed to take care of a 2 year-old Haitian girl that needed a life-saving operation, little did we know what an impact it would have on us.
Getting from this little girl hanging onto life by a thread to get where she is now, has been an EXTRAORDINARY JOURNEY!
Ari is an excellent student at Hancock County High School. She is an accomplished author, having already published 3 books and about to add a 4th book.
She is sweet and wise beyond her years. She loves God and serves Him in so many ways. When Cindy and I both had a bad bout of COVID, Ari took excellent care of us.
Again, when Cindy and I both had operations, again, Ari took excellent care of us.
Yes, we have gotten the best end of this deal. We are so proud of our precious Ariana!

29 YEARS AGO TODAY....
Before sunrise this morning, I heard a stirring in the kitchen and the coffee pot brewing.
Cindy was up early. She was preparing a gift for me on this, our 29th Wedding Anniversary.
Not only is my Cindy a Proverbs 31 Woman of God, she's an artist and just over-flowing with God- Given Gifts!

Yesterday, at the "Run To The Roar" Book signing had a nice group of folks come through and hear some remarkable stories from "Roar".

Well, on this beautiful Sunday morning, on our 29th Wedding Anniversary, we're getting ready for Church.

Suffice it to say, Ariana is an extraordinary young lady who loves the Lord Jesus and serves Him with all of her heart.

I'm ever reminded of my first Pastor, Roy Stockstill who gave me these very wise words, many years ago.
I was facing a big challenge and needed help. Brother Roy said this to me and I'll never forget it..."Son, remember, God knows how to deploy His troops!"
Well, on this chilly day, I'll honor the Lord and not lean unto my own understanding, in all my ways acknowledge HIM, & HE shall direct my path.

It's plumb chilly outside (22 degrees). So THANKFUL for the old Wood Stove & plenty of firewood.
A little later, I'll be heading over to Knoxville to meet with a fellow aviator to discuss the possibility of making some critical flights. More details to come.
We continue to PRAY for all in the path of this terrible WAR...especially the innocent victims and the hostages.
In the meantime, we seek HIS DIRECTION during these perilous times.
BTW, was up very early listening to Scripture after Scripture describing the End Times. Folks...I believe we are there.

A PLEASANT FLIGHT IN THE LITTLE DONKEY
It was time to move the Little Donkey up to TN.
You may recall, Rachel donated her sweet 2007 Hyundai Tucson to Air Mobile. THANK YOU AGAIN, RACHEL!
Had a smooth and excellent flight from Titusville to Lee County Airport. Flew the 502 NM in 3 hours 15 minutes.

On the way to Florida, I captured just one more beautiful canopy of color. Love FALL!
After the 12 hour drive from Tennessee to Florida, I passed by my good friend, Joe Polozola's home.
Now, Joe introduced me to Jesus 50 years ago. I am eternally grateful to Joe for leading me to Christ. It is an amazing story!
Truly, Joe is the best friend in my life!
This morning, I'll be fueling and loading up "The Little Donkey" for my flight.

BEAUTY & TRAGEDY....
I love the drive from Tennessee to Florida, especially in the Fall.
This spot along the way simply captures the beauty.
I drove for about 8 hours and called it a day somewhere in South Carolina. Found a comfortable bed and settled in for the evening.
Turned on the News and was met with another tragic SHOOTING in Maine.
18 DEAD 10-15 WOUNDED...I turned the TV Off, PRAYED and put on the Book of Revelation and finally drifted off to sleep.
Up early this morning and continuing my Journey to Florida.
Will stop in Lake Mary, FL and pick up some books "Run To The Roar".
Then, on to Space Coast Regional Airport and my awaiting "Little Donkey".
I PRAY for the INNOCENT VICTIMS AND FAMILIES who suddenly lost loved ones in Maine.
These are, indeed, PERIOUS TIMES!

A TIME TO REFLECT...."IT WAS A DARK & STORMY NIGHT"!
Was up early this morning and remembered a flight that I made in my Cessna 206 (it was a long time ago).
I was working around a pretty wicked cold front and was careful to put some distance between myself and that line of bad WX.
Even stopped in a Flight Service Station (FSS) and verified that my route was clear and I could proceed home.
I had recently obtained my Instrument Rating and even had color radar in the C-206.
I poured one more cup of coffee in the FSS, took a final look at where that cold front was and took off for Baton Rouge.
As I climbed to my cruising altitude my color radar was full of big red blotches (BAD WX).
That cold front was still hanging around but...with my radar, I could avoid the worst of it.
I then saw a beautiful path between the bright red build-ups.
Then....it happened. The air vents blew out and a huge gush of water hit me right in the face. Immediately, the cockpit began to fill up with water. Yet, my radar said....ALL CLEAR.
Then, my next worst nightmare happened...my engine quit!
I was in the middle of the Blue Ridge Mountains and losing altitude. It is amazing how having 300 horsepower pulling you through the air... and it suddenly stops. Things got very quiet and I could hear and feel my heart beating.
I CRIED OUT TO JESUS!!
I quickly realized that I could die right here. I had been speaking with Raleigh-Durham Departure.
I quickly called out to Approach, and in a slow drawl, the Controller said..."Stand-By 1003 Victor...Delta 411, turn to a heading of 305....I broke in and spoke over him and shouted..."Raleigh-Durham, 1003 Victor, I just lost power and loosing Altitude.
That Controller went into "Hyper Drive" and said "1003 Victor, Squawk- Ident". With water still splashing me in the face I found the button on my transponder and pushed it.
Immediately, the good Controller called a nearby Piper Comanche and vectored him close to me.
I instinctively kept looking down when I saw...DIRECTLY beneath me, a ROTATING BEACON.
The Controller told me it was short (3000 feet) and had a 4 degree slope.
I set up a close downwind and knew this was going to be a very difficult landing. I was too hot (too fast) and too high.
Again, I CRIED OUT TO JESUS!
SUDDENTLY, my 300 HP engine came to back to life for about 5 seconds and died again.
But, that burst of power let me re-arrange my approach to a safer speed and better altitude.
As I turned final, there was one more 5 second burst of power assuring a good landing.
I was DOWN and relayed to the Comanche to advise Raleigh-Durham departure that I was safe.
What happened? Why did my radar tell me the path was clear?
Years later, I was sitting in a Radar Training when our teacher Archie Trammel, one of the worlds leading Radar expert explained to me what happened.
After I gave him a detailed report on what happened...he thought a minute and told me..."first of all, you're very fortunate to be alive."
Next, he explained that I ran into a solid wall of water and the radar did not see the water droplets, thus, it thought the path was clear.
Oh well, after my second cup of coffee this morning, and pondered that Dark & Stormy night and thought I'd share this story with you.
As I called out Jesus, He gave me the exact burst of power I needed to land safely.
No matter what you may be facing, I leave this with you...

IMMEDIATELY, literally within minutes, Hamas accused Israel of this terrible attack.
The TRUTH came out, that the rocket launched from GAZA and was an errant rocket launch from Islamic Jihad.

DAY 10...OF THE WAR!
I go back 10 days ago and recall waking up to the HAMAS ATTACK ON ISRAEL.
My heart broke again and again as I saw the images of the BRUTALITY & HORROR as innocent children and families & elderly were MURDERED & TORTURED & RAPED & KIDNAPPED!!
So now, 10 days later, I hear story after story and the denial of the facts. Even HAMAS BOASTS of their HORRIBLE ACTIONS & EVEN SHOT VIDEO TO PROVE IT!
I am not surprised that the TRUTH is being stamped out with BRAZEN LIES!
The bottom line is....ISRAEL IS FIGHTING FOR IT'S LIFE!
The Bible tells us to PRAY FOR ISRAEL.
So, today, the Israeli Military is on the brink of entering into Gaza and wiping out Hamas.
Folks, you have seen this terrible WAR unfold before our very eyes.

Was up early...around 4:00 AM and listened to the Book of Revelation.
Then, as I've done every day since the War broke out (Day 9) between Israel and Hamas, I scan the news channels and look for Prophesies that are being fulfilled.
Things are happening very rapidly and many innocent victims are in the path of this brutal War.
Folks, these are indeed PERILOUS TIMES!
I come back to...what is the best thing I can do today?
I can.... PRAY for OUR LORD'S WILL TO BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!

Again, I go back to the BIBLE! So many prophecies speak of this WAR!
My biggest concern and goal is to be where my Lord wants me to be when He wants me there.

URGENT CALL FROM HAITI....
Just received a call from some dear friends in Haiti who are 'stuck' with no immediate way out of Haiti.
I can't go to fly at this time and I'm looking for some others who may be able to help.
PLEASE join us in PRAYER that our Lord will OPEN THE DOOR for a SAFE ESCAPE!

15 AIR MOBILE RESCUERS DELIVERED!
There, I delivered 15 Air Mobile Rescuer Water Purifiers to Operation Blessing.
We have had the privilege to work with Operation Blessing and CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) all around the world.
Now, when the next disaster occurs (it's just a matter of time) OB will be able to deliver CLEAN WATER more rapidly. PRAISE GOD!!
Well, I guess that Emergency Alarm Test went as scheduled yesterday afternoon. Everything seems to be normal.
In the meantime, I'm just glad to be home.
Cindy is still recovering and dealing with pain from her shoulder surgery. We met with her surgeon yesterday. X-Rays showed all normal. Please remember to PRAY for Cindy to have a rapid and complete recovery.
Cindy and I are very proud of our Ariana! She will be going on an "Around the World" Mission with YWAM (Youth With A Mission).

A QUIET DAY AT THE "RETREAT CABIN"....A TEST ALERT WILL OCCUR....
Folks, I understand that today, there will be TEST ALERT on all Cell phones / Radio / TV's today in the U.S.
I've heard different takes on this, but frankly, I don't know what it means or what will occur.
Strangely enough, I was surprised that Russia is doing a similar thing. Not sure what that means either.

Again, I don't know what any of this means. I guess we'll see in time.
At any rate, we're praying and seeking our Lord's direction today and above all.....TRUSTING GOD!!

HOME....AT LAST!
All I can say is....."It's GOOD TO BE HOME!!
Being home allows my 'batteries' to be recharged. Can't begin to tell you how much I love this place. So good to be home with my Cindy!
Well, we'll be about the usual chores and improvements on our "Retreat Cabin".
Love letting our ducks out in the morning. A fun chore.

THANKFUL FOR A COMFORTABLE BED....
I hit the road for the 12+ hour drive to the Sweet Retreat Cabin and my Cindy.
After about 8 hours, I began to "bob & weave" a bit and decided to call it a day. Found a lovely room in Hendersonville, NC.
I'm so THANKFUL for the fact I can pull off the highway and find a clean, reasonable, room so easily.
When I reflect on the places Air Mobile works...following fires, earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, war and such, it's not always so easy to find a place to lay your weary head.
Well, have a couple of hours left to drive. So glad I pulled off and rested. Feel refreshed and so ready to be home....for a while!

LITTLE DONKEY HOME....JOE HEADING TO "RETREAT CABIN"
We dodged thunderstorms the whole way.
We put the Little Donkey away in the hangar, awaiting the "Next Mission".
Now, I have a 12+ hour drive ahead of me. I can hardly wait to get back to my Cindy and have a bit of time of good rest at our sweet "Retreat Cabin".
These last few months have been intense. Went to Maui, Hawaii following the terrible fires. There, we delivered CLEAN WATER in the Name of Jesus.
Then to Morocco following deadly earthquakes. We went into the High Atlas Mountains and delivered CLEAN WATER in the Name of Jesus.
Followed by a whirlwind flight to Haiti delivering critical medical supplies where Haiti is cut-off and isolated.
Now, it's time for a bit of rest and recharging.
