THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES.....APRIL 2015

4-23-15 Thursday 6:48AM (Eastern U.S. Time) - Cocoa, FL - Air Mobile Home Base  –  Report submitted by:  Air Mobile Joe

JOE ROCKET

Spent the day in the "Rocket Garden" at Kennedy Space Center.  Was invited to set up and demonstrate the Air Mobile Rescuer.

Met so many, including a number of Aerospace/ Aeronautical Engineers, Microbiologists and Scientists of varied disciplines.  It was a glorious day!!

This timely presentation only strengthens our quest to see the Air Mobile Rescuer providing fresh, clean drinking water for astronauts in space.  Our "Journey" moves forward!

I spoke with Paul, our great aircraft mechanic, and he has resolved those "leaking drains" on the 2 of the fuel tanks on "Ti Burik" (AKA:  The Little Donkey).

Today, I'll be meeting another faithful donor and provider of baby food, formula and other much needed supplies for Haiti.  We're getting ready for that "next mission".

Very slowly and bit by bit, more are speaking up for Christians who are being brutally persecuted and murdered around the world.  Here's another interview that is bringing this horror to light - KIRSTEN POWERS: OBAMA HAS BEEN LARGELY SILENT ON CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION

This just breaks my heart.  We are only hearing tiny bits of information about this.  For example, this morning, I went to "Yahoo News", went to the "Search" bar and typed in "Christian Persecution".  Only a few dated stories from popped up.  This is definitely not a story that the Media is covering.

I did come across this extensive Commentary by Matt Walsh.  He comes down pretty heavily on "us" for not saying anything (and rightfully so).

But, if one does not "dig" around, one just doesn't really know what is going on.  That's why I'm endeavoring to bring some light to this via this little blog.  Here's Matt's commentary:  HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION: STOP BEING A LAZY COWARD

This is just another reminder for us to PRAY for Believers around the world who are being persecuted (often tortured and murdered) for their faith.  Remember, PRAYER IS POWERFUL!!!

Finally, today, I wanted to give you a little "Tip" that can help you start a fire if you're in a "bind in the woods".  It's quite clever - CAN YOU USE DORITOS INSTEAD OF KINDLING TO START A FIRE??

So having delivered that helpful little "tip", it's time for me to head to the airport to get some "treasures" for Haiti.  As always, THANK YOU for your vital and greatly appreciated prayer, love and support!!

ANOTHER VOICE SPEAKING UP

Just saw this story regarding a U.S. Congressman that is urging the Church to stand up for "Persecuted Christians" around the Globe.  Praise God!

Here's a quote from the article - "It's almost crazy but yes, this should be a major issue where hearings are held. But the religious community in the United States has to speak out," Wolf said.

"Speak out against the persecution of Christians, the anti-Semitism. Speak out, speak out, and put pressure on the administration and on the Congress to do something."
Here's the story - OBAMA WON'T HELP MIDEAST CHRISTIANS - CONGRESS SHOULD

Let us remember to PRAY for those who are suffering for their faith.  Let us rise up and be heard by our leaders as to their plight!

I share these things with you, so that we can PRAY together and most important, that we can be aware of what is going on.  For some unexplained reason, this Administration is really playing this down and the media is, by and large ignoring it.

Yesterday, I had the joy of taking care of 3 of my precious grand-kids!  Christian and Ann Marie, the parents, are out of town at a Church Leadership Conference and I had them for the afternoon.  Oh, the JOY!!

Cindy got in from MA late last night, where she was with Juliet at her Bridal Shower.  She gets them today.

I'll be Kennedy Space Center today doing another Expo and telling folks about the need for clean water.  Love to demonstrate the remarkable Air Mobile Rescuer.

Time for me to load up and head out the door.  God bless you and THANK YOU for meandering down this road of life with us.  We so appreciate your precious prayer, love and support!!

GO GRETA!!

I like Greta Van Susteren.  She's making a BIG statement about what is going one right now, before our eyes in "High Definition"!  Christians are being slaughtered for their faith and we're seemingly, turning a blind eye.  Why??

I'll give a link to Greta's story in a minute, but first, I'd like to say a few things.  I personally feel frustrated and somewhat powerless to do anything to help these courageous believers who are being brutally slain for following Jesus!

Of course, our family prays for them and we endeavor to bring attention to what is going on.  We know that PRAYER IS POWERFUL & WE PRAY! But cruel and Godless forces are murdering innocent believers right before our very eyes.

Of course, Christians can rally and make a difference.  Just look at what happened when a Pizza owner and his daughter were 'persecuted' for standing up for their convictions.  And it was a good thing that so many stood up for them.

It would seem that, knowing what we know, about what is clearly and undeniably happening at the hands of ISIS, and others who literally hate Jesus, we could and should rally and stand up for them and let our leaders know that we care!  Why aren't we??  Now here's Greta's story - FOX NEWS STAR GOES ALL OUT TO RESCUE CHRISTIANS!

And the effect of this horrifying persecution is causing literally MILLIONS TO FLEE as we see what is happening, before our very eyes, between Libya and Italy and many other parts of that region.

Folks, these things are happening in "real-time" as I type, and the persecution is rapidly spreading.  So, again, what can we do??

Was reading Proverbs 21 today (today being the 21st) and stopped and pondered verse 2. First, I thought of my own heart and asked our Lord to "Create in me a clean heart".  Sometimes, I just get so angry.  Why can't we stop this???

Then, I thought, what must be going through the "Executioner's" mind and heart when they are beheading a follower of Jesus?  Oh God, open their eyes!

And then I thought about, "what must be going through the Martyr's heart as they are slain for their faith".  Again, I PRAY for those who are being tortured and slain for their faith in Jesus.  I ask our Lord to lead us and guide us into what we should do to help them.

Had a wonderful meeting yesterday with 2 gentlemen, who know and understand Search & Rescue (SAR) extremely well.  We're working very hard to put together a program (proposal) that will save many lives in the waters between Haiti and the U.S.

Today, I just had to say something about what is happening to Christians all over the world.  I'm very THANKFUL that Greta is using her position to stand up for those who are being tortured and executed for their faith.

So, it's that time to head out into this day and seek to be directed by Him who loves us!  As always, THANK YOU for your precious and vital prayer, love and support!!

WHERE WAS PETER??

As you may have gathered from some of our India Mission literature, Peter, our son will be joining us on that mission.  So....where was he during the wonderful Doctors' Goodwill Foundation Expo on Saturday?

Well, he did help us do the "set-up" for the Air Mobile display, but he had another event to attend....taking Miss Anna Bahr to the Astronaut High School Prom.

BTW, Peter and Anna have been in school together since the 4th grade.  We know and love the Bahr family and we all go to Redeemer together.

Peter and Anna had a great time at the Prom and we pulled off the Expo event with our team of Volunteers.  So....that's where Peter was.

Speaking of Volunteers...we have a wonderful team of  volunteers who help us to conduct our weekly Chapel Service at the Hospital in Orlando.

But, sometimes, plan A, B and C comes up short.  Such was the case yesterday.  Cindy was out of town in MA with Juliet.  Alfred was with a sick relative.  Angie had a severe sinus headache.  I was left all alone to conduct 2 separate services.

With a little squeezing and stretching of time, was able to do both services.  The Hospital Staff accommodated and allowed the time differential to work.  Haven't figured out how to "clone" myself yet (a very scary thought), but it would have been handy yesterday.

Haiti is coming into the "Rainy and Election Season" at the same time.  Spring rains have begun bringing regular flooding and a spike in Cholera (a dreadful disease) and the "Election Season" has been kicked off.  There is going to be a lot of suffering!

I'll tell you from deep experience, this is going to be extremely challenging.  Just came across this article that articulates the "mess" that lies ahead.

We need to offer some extra prayers for Haiti to navigate through the times ahead.  Here's the article - ELECTIONS LOOM: HAITI'S YEAR OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY

In the meantime, Haiti desperately needs a Search and Rescue (SAR) Operation in place to save lives!  Today, I'll be in meetings with some true experts that know SAR extremely well.

We're seeking to help Haiti (by Haitian request) to put an excellent SAR system into place.  Please pray that we have great wisdom in navigating these dangerous waters.

It's going to be a busy week.  Time to head out into this beautiful day that our Lord has made.  As always, we so THANK YOU for your precious and faithful prayer, love and support!!

A GREAT DAY AT THE OLD "BALL PARK"

Our Air Mobile Team met at the Space Coast Stadium with plenty of time to make a nice "Air Mobile Set-up" and the folks  immediately began to come by and see what we were up to.

Ariana was kind of the "Star" of the show all throughout the day.  This little one was a real trooper and just brought such joy to our whole presentation.

Garrett, who made his first mission trip (to Haiti) with Air Mobile at the age of 13, will be joining our India Mission.

I've known Garrett's Dad, Jason, since he was 16 and he too volunteered in Air Mobile as a young man.  Garrett has a rich family heritage in missions and we're so glad he's coming to India with us.

Olivia will also be joining us on the India Mission.  This young lady is a great blessing and has volunteered for Air Mobile on many of our outreaches.

Olivia's Mom, Patti did Henna for a donation to Air Mobile.  Of course, our Ariana was in on that project.  She was "everywhere"!

We met literally hundreds of folks and were able to tell them all about our Mission.  Garrett did a wonderful job of demonstrating the amazing Rescuer!

As the sun set and the long, but very fruitful day, was drawing to a close, Dr. Bhalani visited us to see how we did on this great day.

Dr. Bhalani is the Founder of Doctors' Goodwill Foundation (DGF) and has been a wonderful friend to Air Mobile for many years.  He's helped us to launch many Air Mobile Missions following terrible disasters, with vital resources.

Well, this day at the "Old Ball Park" yielded a grand total of $1700!  That puts us well on our way to funding another Air Mobile Rescuer for India!!

God bless you, Dr. Bhalani and the DGF (who matched all the donations Air Mobile received) and so many who stopped by and donated to the noble cause of bringing clean water to desperate and thirsty people!!

And, while we were at the "Old Ball Park", Cindy and Juliet were in Milbury, MA at Juliet's Bridal Shower.  Juliet was blessed by many.  Again, we're so excited about the upcoming marriage between Juliet and Shaun!!

So, it's Sunday morning and we'll be heading to our Church, Redeemer in a few minutes and then to the Hospital in Orlando.

You know, I pray we never take our "Freedom" to worship for granted in this great country!  Think about it.  As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME - A BLESSED "SHOWER"
& A STORY OF "DIVINE INTERVENTION"!

Today is the day of the Doctors' Goodwill Foundation (DGF) Expo at Space Coast Stadium in Viera, FL.  We're up early gathering all of our Rescuer display stuff and will be heading to the Stadium in a little while.

We're so thankful for this great opportunity to tell others about our upcoming mission to India and the desperate need for clean water.

We're also very thankful to the DGF for this invitation and....the MATCHING funds of every dollar that we raise at the Expo today.  Click here for more details on this wonderful event - DOCTORS' GOODWILL FOUNDATION EXPO

Later this afternoon, there will be a Pro Baseball Game between the Manatees and the Blue Jays.  What a nice way to spend an afternoon.  We're just praying the game doesn't get "rained out"....a very common occurrence in Florida in the afternoon in the Spring.

Today, is Juliet's Bridal Shower up in Milbury, MA.  Cindy has been working with Juliet on this blessed event. We're so excited about Juliet and Shaun's upcoming wedding!!  They love the Lord and each other so much!!

Cindy has know Shaun's family for over 40 years.  We have seen Shaun grow up into a fine young man with a true heart to help others.  He recently got his Doctorate in Nursing and is a Nurse Practitioner.

One of the first things he and Juliet are going to do once they get married is go to Jamaica for several months and do volunteer medical work.  Wow, what a great couple!  We're so proud of them!!

This morning, I came across this story about a distraught dad that was about to lose his son.  As I read the story, I cried at seeing the Hand of God intervene.

The battle is still not over, but I urge you to read the story and pray for this dad and his son - THE HOSPITAL TOLD HIM HIS SON WAS BRAIN DEAD...BUT HE DIDN'T BELIEVE IT. THAT'S WHEN HE GRABBED HIS GUN AND WITNESSED A "MIRACLE"!  (Be sure to watch the video in the story)

So, it's time to load up and head out the door to the "Ball Park" for a fun day.  We really hope you can make it out.  Would love to see you!!

As always, THANK YOU for standing together with us in this quest to bring clean water and the love of Jesus around the world.  God bless!!

OOOPS...

So, was up early yesterday.  Got my Cindy to the airport right on time.  Came home and immediately, the phone rang.  It was the driver for the oil company that buys our used aircraft engine oil.  He'd be at the airport in 45 minutes.  Our barrel was full and he'd have to be let in and our hangar opened.

I dashed to the airport and....completely forgot to "Continue" the Blog.  Never slowed down until about 10:30 last night and realized then....there was a half-written blog.  Sometimes, life just comes at you fast!

Cindy landed right on time and she and Juliet are working hard together on the Bridal Shower up in Worcester, MA.  The Oil guy and I arrived at the Airport Security gate within 10 seconds of each other and the day just kept going full throttle.

Brian, our dear friend, and excellent Flight Instructor, and I spent several hours going over the latest tools available to pilots for Instrument Flight.  I am astounded at how useful an I-Pad can be in the cockpit.

I am still somewhat..."Old School" but am coming around quickly to the wonder of the I-Pad.  In this shot, the Captain on the left has the old paper approach plates and the guy on the right has the I-Pad.

I've held onto my "paper" about as long as I can.  It's time to move digital.  Oh, as Brian has been unfolding the wonder and advantages of the I-Pad in the cockpit, all I can say is....I love it!!

Just before the afternoon thunderstorms moved in, Brian and I took the Little Donkey for a "spin around the patch".  It was the first flight since Paul finished the Annual Inspection.

During our pre-flight, we found one of the 14 fuel tanks that needed a little bit of attention.  Paul has been called.  That's why we do test flights.

The day ended with our weekly Bible Study in our home.  We had a full house until after 10:00pm.  A very full day.  I heard from my Cindy this morning.  All is well in MA and she's walking much better on that sore foot.  Thanks for your prayers.

Just a final reminder of the great Expo tomorrow at the Space Coast Stadium in Viera, FL.  Sure hope you can make it out. We'd love to see you!!  Click here for more details - DOCTORS' GOODWILL FOUNDATION EXPO

Time to head out.  As always, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

EARLY AIRPORT RUN

This morning, Cindy will be flying to MA to be part of our daughter, Juliet's Bridal Shower.  BTW, Juliet and Shaun will be "Tying the Knot" on May 16th.  We're just thrilled that these two are getting married.  Cindy has known Shawn's family for over 40 years.  We love Shawn!!

So, we're heading out the door in a few minutes.  After dropping her at Orlando International, will return and continue this morning's Blog.  Stay tuned.

ISIS AT OUR 'BACK DOOR'!!

You can't just open the "gate" and not expect a lot of "bad guys" to come in!!  Now (what a 'surprise'), there's an ISIS Training Camp 8 miles from the Texas Border!

Oh, I heard that the "flood" of immigrants were just cute little children and one politician (Pelosi) wanted to just take them all home.  Here's more on this latest discovery - BOMBSHELL REPORT: NEW ISIS CAMP DISCOVERED - BUT IT'S REPORTED LOCATION IS THE REAL STORY

I'm no expert on security but....I know, that I know, that we have the technology to close the "door".

Just the research work that we're doing now for "Search & Rescue" (SAR) for Haiti reveals that there is breathtaking technology to detect when someone is crossing a border.  We just don't seem to have the "will" to do it.  I don't "get it".

Oh well, I just had to say something about this latest discovery this morning.  In the meantime, Air Mobile is making little steps toward getting ready for the next "Mission".

The Guys at U-Haul did a great job of installing a trailer hitch on our little Gold Ford Escape.

A trailer hitch can be a very valuable thing in times of Emergency.  That little device can double+ the carrying capacity of your vehicle.  One never knows when you'll need to do that.

But it's kind of like having your Passport.  When it's time to travel, you're basically ready to go (just remember where you keep it).

Or, like having a large trash bag when you really need it.  Remember the "Tip" from yesterday?

Paul, our great mechanic, and I  ran-up the engines to check for leaks and be sure that all pressures were in the green range.  The Little Donkey is nearly finished with it's Annual Inspection.

Only 3 Days to the Great Event in Space Coast Stadium in Viera, Florida.  I know that many reading this blog are spread out all over the world but for the local folks, hope you can make it out this Saturday.

The Expo begins at 1:00pm and goes to 8:30.  I think the idea of a Pro Baseball game in the Spring time is just wonderful.

We're very excited about the upcoming trip to India.  The pieces are really coming together.  Again, we're blessed that the Doctors' Goodwill Foundation will MATCH all Air Mobile Donations received at the Expo!  Here are more details - DOCTORS' GOODWILL FOUNDATION EXPO

So, even though ISIS is camping at our backdoor, there is much that we can do about this.  Mainly....PRAY !

We need to pray that our leaders wake-up to this threat and that they have wisdom.  Believe me, our PRAYERS make a difference!!  In the meantime, we'll continue to make little steps toward getting ready for whatever our Lord has for us to do.

As always, THANK YOU for your vital prayer, love and support!!

CAME ACROSS THIS VERY GOOD "SURVIVAL" TIP

Saw this "Tip" a couple of days ago and wanted to share it with you.

But, before I do, need to announce that the Italian Espresso Machine is still sitting on the launch pad here in Florida.

The mission has been delayed due to weather.  Next try, Thursday (if you're new to the blog, just read on down).  Hang on, Astronauts, a good cup of coffee is coming!

Now, "The Tip of the Day".  I can so relate to what this "Back-Country Hunting Guide" suggested.  And yes, it's not what you might think.

I can tell you from experience, this is a great "Tip" as it's "bailed me out of many a bind".  I carry a whole box of them in the "Little Donkey"!

Take a moment and watch this little video explaining more....you'll be glad you did - THE ONE ITEM A HUNTING GUIDE EXPERT SAYS TO ALWAYS CARRY WITH YOU

This morning, will be getting a trailer hitch mounted on our little gold Ford Escape.  This is another "handy" thing to have.  Turns the Escape into a "pick-up truck".

Well, it's time to head out the door to go to my local U-Haul dealer.  As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

COMING SOON....A DECENT CUP OF COFFEE IN SPACE

Thought this story quite interesting.  Astronauts need a good cup of coffee from time to time.

Now, it's soon to be a reality, thanks to the next SpaceX load heading to the International Space Station (ISS).  Here's more on this latest space "break-through" - CAFFEINE HIGH: SPACE STATION GETTING ITALIAN ESPRESSO MAKER

Of course, having good water is essential to a good cup of coffee.  We're still hoping that one day, the ISS will get a modified Air Mobile Rescuer to bring them great water!  Now, that would make an exceptionally delicious cup of coffee with the neat Italian Espresso machine.

And, if you'd like to see the remarkable Air Mobile Rescuer in "Action", come on out to the Space Coast Stadium this Saturday, located in Viera, FL.  We'll have a display set up and would love to meet you!!

You'd be able to see the "near-miracle" machine that is saving lives all around the world every day. To date, Air Mobile has deployed over 900 Air Mobile Rescuers in 44 countries (in many cases following some of the worst disasters in modern history!).  We'd love to demonstrate the Rescuer for you!

It's going to be a great day of fun and education and even a live Pro Baseball Game.  We're so blessed to have the support of Doctors' Goodwill Foundation (DGF) behind Air Mobile for the upcoming mission to India.

Remember, Dr. Bhalani, the Founder of  DGF, has pledged to MATCH every dollar we raise at the event.  Here are more details on this great event - DOCTORS' GOODWILL FOUNDATION EXPO

So, it's time to head out into this beautiful day.  As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

PONDERING....

Spent the day doing lawn work, mainly on the riding lawn mower.  Oh, I love that job.  One starts out with a pretty "ratty" looking lawn with weeds popping out everywhere and at the end of a couple of hours, the old lawn looks pretty good.

Also, it's a time that I can't take a peek at the computer to check e-mail or the latest headlines.  Phone activity is also kept to a minimum.  Overall, it's a nice job with a beginning and an end.

While on the little lawn tractor, I was thinking about the Haiti Search and Rescue Project (SAR) and how many lives it will save.  With the steady drone of the 2 cylinder Briggs and Stratton 18 Horsepower engine, the nice smell of fresh cut grass, and the only real focus was keeping the rows relatively straight, perhaps my mind was a bit clearer.

I can tell you now, after working in Haiti for 37 years, we've got a lot of obstacles ahead of us on this project, but.....I truly sense our Lord wants me to work on this.  Will take it a day at a time and endeavor to be sensitive to His leading.  I pondered again....James 1:5

Remember, our Lord WANTS to give us His wisdom.  I also recall, I didn't go out looking for this project.  It seems to be coming to me.  I also know, and there is NO DOUBT, this project will save many lives.

Again, I'm glad you're along for the "ride".  Really do appreciate your vital prayer, love and support.  Well, it's time head to Church.  Cindy and I will be sharing a bit about our upcoming India trip.  Then we'll be going to the Hospital to minister with the young people and the adults in the Hospital.  Seems we never have a dull moment.  Be blessed today!!

MORE DIE ON THE OPEN SEA....DESPERATE NEED FOR SEARCH & RESCUE (SAR)

Sometime on Thursday, a very overloaded Haitian sailboat went down.  21 bodies have been found and at least 17 missing (presumed dead).

Folks, this is a story that I have heard so many times over the years.  Here's more - U.S. COAST GUARD FIND NO SURVIVORS IN HAITI SHIPWRECK

The very sad and tragic truth is....there are many, many more boats that go down and no one even knows about them!

As you may know, I began my flying career in Haiti as a missionary pilot 37 years ago.  Having flown over the Haitian coastal waters, literally thousands of times, I've seen, with my own eyes, Haitian sailboats so heavily loaded with people, that it's a miracle that they've even managed to stay afloat! And.....way too often... they do go down and all perish!

The sea journey is SO DANGEROUS and the risks are SO HIGH.  The "passengers", who are often young people who would, according a popular Haitian saying..."face a sharks' tooth, than life in Haiti".  There is much, much more to this dark and tragic and insane story of desperation, that I'm not at liberty to share.

For many years, I've dreamed of Haiti having a well run Search & Rescue (SAR) operation that would prevent many of these tragic accidents.

Recently, I was asked by the Director General of Civil Aviation if I could help explore the possibility of developing a Haitian SAR.  My heart leaped for joy and the quest has begun.

Now, you might ask why I'm sharing this information with you?  You may recall, several years ago, we (you, our faithful Blog followers and I) began a similar journey to get Haiti all new Air Traffic Control (ATC) equipment.  Well, you know the rest of that story.

Today, Haiti has some of the finest, most advanced ATC equipment in the world!  Aviators (carrying thousands of passengers), coming into and departing Haiti, are much, much safer because we can COMMUNICATE with crystal clarity and with greater range than ever!  Surely, our Lord ANSWERS PRAYER and....yes, He knows how to deploy His troops!!

This journey is just beginning and we have a long, long way to go. But with God's help and direction and above all, His wisdom, I believe that we'll be able to help Haiti to develop a "First Class" Search & Rescue Division that will save many, many lives!!

Again, we're so glad to have you aboard this journey.  Your prayers are so important and together, we're seeing our Lord move in so many wonderful and marvelous ways!!

Cindy and I want to remind you about the upcoming "Doctors' Goodwill Foundation" health expo taking place at the Space Coast Stadium in Viera, FL next weekend (Saturday, April 18th).  There will be so many wonderful things going on, including a Pro Baseball Game!

And remember, Dr. Bhalani, the Founder of Doctors' Goodwill Foundation, has graciously offered to MATCH all donations received by Air Mobile at the "Doctors Expo & Health Fair".  All donations will help our Air Mobile Team bring clean water to India.

So, if you're in the area, we hope you can come on out and see us and have your "donation doubled" and have a really fun and educational day and even take in a Baseball Game (the first 250 Visitors get $5.00 Cash or 1 Game Ticket!!)  Here's a link to the event with more details - DOCTORS' GOODWILL FOUNDATION EXPO

As always, THANK YOU for your precious and vital prayer, love and support!  Together, we're seeing our Lord do so many wonderful things!!!

IT'S NOT A "DEAL"....YET & ANOTHER "DEAL" UNRAVELING

I'd like to share a story of 2 "Deals".  The first one regards the possible establishing of a new Church and outreach in an area that could really use a church.  The second "Deal" is about one that is not going very well.  So, here's the "First Deal".

Recently, we put a "Church for Rent" sign up at our Air Mobile Headquarters building.  Our building is perfectly suited for a church in addition to housing Air Mobile.  A number of calls have come in, but....one has really stood out.

Cindy and I met Lenny, the prospective Pastor several weeks ago.  We just liked him the moment we met.  Lenny has a true heart for souls, particularly those that are going through "hard times" i.e., drug and alcohol addictions, the homeless etc..

As you know, Cindy and I, through Air Mobile, for the past 17 years have been the Chaplains at a Psychiatric Hospital where both the youth and adult patients are dealing with all kind of addictions and other related problems.  Needless to say, Cindy and I really hit it off with Lenny.

Well, he came back yesterday for another look and he likes what he sees.  There's something else that happened that is rather encouraging.  Just before I met with Lenny, another friend and Brother in Christ, Darrell called.  Darrell's son, Austin is in the quest of becoming an Eagle Scout.  Part of his requirement is to do a Public Service Project.

Well, Austin wants to help us to get this Church ready for the next occupant.  The timing of the call and the meeting with Lenny are extremely encouraging and it looks like we're very close to a deal.  We're seeking God's Wisdom on this matter.  Please join with us that we will see the Will of God done!!

Now, on to another "DEAL" that is not going well.  It's the Iran Nuclear "Deal".  The Ayatollah Khameni and the U.S. are apparently on "different pages".  Here's more - AYATOLLAH KHAMENEI ACCUSES WHITE HOUSE OF 'LYING', BEING 'DECEPTIVE' & HAVING 'DEVILISH INTENTIONS'

While on the subject, I came across this article that gives more insight into the History of "Islamic Negotiations".  It is definitely worth the read - OBAMA TAKEN FOR FOOL BY CLASSIC MUSLIM PLOY

These "Negotiations" are precarious to say the least.  Again, I believe that our answer is in receiving God's Wisdom and proceeding forth.  Please PRAY that God's Wisdom prevails!!

It's time to head out the door into another day that our Lord has made.  What a blessing to serve Him.  As always, we're so THANKFUL for your prayer, love and support!!

TCB...CONTINUED

Just going through the day in the U.S. is such a blessing.  It's nice to drive on smooth roads and buy fuel reasonably and not be stopped at "Check Points" (and whole host of obstacles often encountered in our journeys around the world).

Sometimes, I just rejoice at the freedom and ease with which we can "Take Care of Business" (TCB).  It's a blessing!!

Of course, having so many generous folks who stand with us in our quest to bring "Clean Water" & the "Good News of Jesus" around the world certainly helps!!

Continued my daily reading this morning and of course began with Proverbs 9 (being as today is the 9th).  Proverbs 9:11 is a good 911!

God's Wisdom will...."Multiply your days and add years to your life".

Oh, I realize just how much I need Him to direct my path.  I don't do a very good job on my own.

Today, I plan to meet with a young man, Lenny, who is interested in establishing a Church in our Air Mobile Headquarters building.  This is our second meeting and I look forward to hearing more about his "call and plans".  Please pray with us, that we are indeed, directed by the Lord with His Wisdom.

Our "Ace" mechanic, Paul, is continuing the Annual Inspection on the "Little Donkey" and it's going well.  No major finds and just routine inspections and maintenance.  We hope to have the wonderful little airplane back in air soon.

Cindy and I would like to remind you about the upcoming event that will be held in Viera, Florida.  Viera is right between Cocoa and Melbourne, FL.  It's going to be a very fun day.

We've known Dr. Bhalani, the Founder of Doctors' Goodwill Foundation for many years.  He's a great friend to Air Mobile.

We were truly blessed when he made the wonderful offer to MATCH all Air Mobile Donations received during the April 18th event.  These funds will help us to go to India and bring clean water to the thirsty.

Here's a link to more details on this great upcoming event - DOCTORS' GOODWILL FOUNDATION EXPO

If you're in the area, we'd be so blessed to have you come.  We'll have the Air Mobile Rescuer set up demonstrating the "near miraculous" capability of this remarkable, life-saving machine.

So, now it's time for me to head out into this day and see just what our Lord has for us.  Again, we're just appreciative for your precious prayer, love and support!!

TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS

In between "Missions", there is the on-going "business" of ministry.  Yesterday, was just such a day.  Was running all over town paying bills and gathering supplies for the "next mission".  Today, will be much the same.

Just saw this "buried" story about recent flooding in Haiti.  There have been a number of deaths and thousands of homes have been destroyed and....the rainy season has just begun.

Please pray for Haiti as it deals with another tragedy!  Here's more - HAITI FLOODS KILL 6 THOUSANDS OF HOMES DESTROYED

Paul, our great mechanic is making good progress on the Annual Inspection of the Little Donkey.  We stay right on top of this precious bird.  Following every "mission flight", Paul does an inspection, so, when the Annual is due, we rarely have "surprises".  So far, so good.

Was reading Proverbs 8 today and was touched by the fact that our Lord WANTS to give us His wisdom.  God's Wisdom is so readily available to us.  All we have to do is ASK for it.

In the Book of James (1:5), we, who lack wisdom (we're all guilty), are urged to ASK God and he'll give it to us abundantly and not chastise us for asking.  THANK YOU, FATHER!

So, with those encouraging words of wisdom, it's time to head out into this day that our Lord has made.  As always, THANK YOU for standing with us with our invaluable prayer, love and support!!

LONG DAY IN TAMPA

Cindy, Ariana and I drove to the "West Coast" of Florida yesterday.  Our first stop was to meet a Veterinarian who sees the need to have clean water following any type of calamity.  We delivered 2 Air Mobile Rescuers.  Nice way to start the day.

Next, we stopped in to see our dear friend and Brother in Christ, Bob D'Andrea, the Founder and President of Christian Television Network (CTN).  Have known Bob for many years and we've had multiple "Excellent Adventures" together in this journey of telling others about Jesus.

We had a wonderful time of recalling all of the good things our Lord has done for us and.....the best is yet to come!!

The traffic in the Tampa / St. Pete / Clearwater area is terrible.  We were at the peak of rush hour time so....we headed to beautiful Clearwater Beach and just hung out until the sun set and the traffic began to diminish a bit.

Ariana enjoyed the day and we brought little Sammy with us.  Overall, we had a wonderful day.

We hit the road home around 7:30 and arrived around 11:00.  Even though we waited, we still had long delays due to construction.

It would have been much worse had we just left earlier....still would have had a lot of traffic and would have missed the beautiful Clearwater beach.

Last Friday, Cindy and our team going to India met with the Doctors' Goodwill Foundation to tell them about our upcoming mission to India.

Air Mobile was invited to attend the Doctors Expo & Health Fair and Dr. Bhalani, a dear friend of Air Mobile has pledged to MATCH!!! all Air Mobile donations received during the Expo!

We'll have a booth with the Air Mobile Rescuer set up and in operation.  If you're in the area, please mark this date down (APRIL 18TH 1:00PM TO 8:30PM) and try to come out and see us and....bring a generous donation as IT WILL BE MATCHED!  Here's a link giving more details of the Expo - DOCTORS' GOODWILL FOUNDATION EXPO

We'd like to bring several more Air Mobile Rescuers into this region of India that is DESPERATE for clean water.  Bringing clean water to the thirsty is such a wonderful demonstration of God' Love!!

Well, it's time to head out and see how Paul is doing on the Annual Inspection of our Little Donkey.

Who knows what our Lord will do today?  What an exciting adventure.  As always, THANK YOU for your faithful and vital prayer, love and support!!

GOOD NEWS IN THE 'PARK'

Our small church came together and did a wonderful thing yesterday.  For months, we had been planning for this day and it turned out just great.

We had "Easter In The Park" and over 500 people came out to spend a glorious day together to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus!!

Cindy led the Prayer Team and after Pastor Gary delivered the message of God's Amazing Grace, a number came forward for prayer.

Oh, we'll be here next year....God willing!  Again, we have such freedom in this country to believe as we believe and worship whom we choose to worship.  Let us give THANKS to God for this glorious freedom!!

After the awesome time of worship, praise and prayer in the "Park", our team headed to the hospital in Orlando to share the message of the Resurrection of Jesus with both the youth and adults in the Psychiatric Hospital in Orlando.

We're so thankful for the Administration of this Hospital that has allowed us to conduct a Sunday Service continually for over 17 years.  Again, we're so THANKFUL for the  LIBERTY that we have to worship with FREEDOM!!

This morning, Cindy, Ariana (who has a holiday today) and I will be driving just north of Tampa to deliver a couple of Air Mobile Rescuers to a Veterinarian who recognizes the need for clean water in "difficult times".

And speaking of "Difficult Times", California is in the middle of a terrible drought.  Water Wars have already begun.  Here's an interesting story... CALIFORNIANS TO BE "HEAVILY FINED" FOR TAKING LONG SHOWERS

The Air Mobile Rescuer can take the most contaminated water and make it extremely clean. This is truly a "Life-Saving" device.

Clean water is a major issue world-wide.  We're so THANKFUL to the Lord for giving us this remarkable machine that opens so many doors to proclaim the Good News of Jesus.

We can, not only "tell" people about the goodness of God, we can demonstrate His love by sharing a cup of clean water with them.

Remember the Words of Jesus..."I was thirsty and you gave Me to drink....when you've done it unto the least of these, you've done it unto Me".  Praise God!!

So, it's a new week and a lot to do.  We'll be on the road for much of the day.  THANK YOU again for your greatly appreciate prayer, love and support!!

I KNOW HE'S ALIVE!!!

Deep in my heart, I know that I know that I know that Jesus is with me.  On this glorious Easter morn, I simply sit here and with such great joy, proclaim my faith in Him.

Jesus has rescued me so many times, when the odds were completely against me and seemingly, all hope was lost. I've seen Him move again and again.   Yes, my Savior lives and loves the world beyond all imagination!

Let us remember, that many around the world, would die for making such a declaration.  And the truth is...."For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."

Our family is up early and getting ready to partake in a wonderful service at Fox Lake Park in Titusville, FL.  We call it, "Easter in the Park".  We'll be sharing the love of God and reaching out to our community.  Then, we'll head over to the Hospital in Orlando and again, share the glorious news of God's Love.

May you be blessed on this beautiful Easter morning.  If you've never opened your heart to Jesus, there is no better time than now.  I can tell you, with every fiber of my being, He loves you and will save you and bring you into a life that is filled with His love and  power to reach out and bring His love to a lost and dying world!

God bless you and THANK YOU again for standing with us with your precious prayer, love and support!!

BLOOD MOON MORNING

Does our Lord speak to us through "Signs in the Heavens"?  I truly believe that He does, and this morning, I witnessed the 3rd Blood Moon.

Much has been said about this amazing Astronomical Display that is coinciding with the Jewish Feasts and here's just one story explaining a bit more - BLOOD RED MOON - A "SIGN"

Christians are not the only ones keeping an eye on the Blood Moons.  Take a look at this article by a prominent Jewish Rabbi concerning the "Signs in the Heavens" and what they can mean for Israel - 'MYSTIC' RABBI ISSUES OMINOUS WARNING ON EVE OF BLOOD MOON

Meanwhile, Ray Flynn "nails it" with this story - CHRISTIANS SLAUGHTERED AS "LEFT" OBSESSES OVER PIZZARIA - Here's a quote from - "A pizza shop in Indiana has become more of an issue that they talk about than the brutality and the killing of innocent Christian children in Kenya by radical Islamic groups," he said.

Where are our "Politicians" on this unfolding, horrifying tragedy that is occurring around the world at an alarming, accelerated rate??

BTW, folks from all over the world rallied to this family that owns the Pizza Shop and to date, around $828,000 has been raised to help them "get back on their feet" after the "Media Attack" on their stand.  Here's that story - $828,000 RAISED FOR INDIANA PIZZARIA THAT SAID IT WON'T CATER GAY WEDDINGS

So, what can we do?  Keep on marching ahead and keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus and above all....PRAY!  Jesus told us very clearly that these things would happen (read Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Mark 14).  These days are upon us.

Bill and I wrapped up the "Aztec Project" yesterday by delivering the 2 engines and props to our Titusville Hangar.  We'll be putting them on the market this week and pray that they sell for a fair and good price.

Hope you were able to get a "glimpse" of the historic Blood Moon this morning.  God bless and as always, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

MASSACRE IN KENYA - NUCLEAR DEAL WITH IRAN - "ASTONISHING...."

Islamic Terrorist struck again yesterday, killing at least 147 (primarily Christians) and injuring more in Kenya.  Many were beheaded.

The attack occurred in the early morning when students were praying in preparation for Good Friday.  Here's more on this terrible attack - GUNMAN LAUNCH EARLY MORNING ATTACK DURING MORE PRAYERS - UP TO 150 DEAD - MANY BEHEADED

And, the U.S. lead "Negotiations" with Iran are unfolding and the "Astonishing thing is..... - THE "MOST ASTONISHING THING" ABOUT THE IRAN FRAMEWORK  This is not a good deal!!  All the more reason for us to PRAY!

We made good progress on the Aztec Project.  Loaded up one of the engines in Ford Escape and brought it home last night.

Cindy and Peter will be presenting our India Project to a group of local Indian Doctors today.  We're so THANKFUL for the help that we've received from this group in the past.

I'll be continuing on the Aztec Project today.

As always, THANK YOU for your faithful and vital prayer, love and support!!

ENGINE RUNS LIKE A TOP!!

Bill and I had a great day with the Aztec.  First of all, the right engine fired right up and ran smooth as silk. We were so relieved. This engine had recently been overhauled but had been sitting for a few months.  It purred like a kitten!

Bill pulled the left engine that had sustained very little damage in the "ground" fire.  We were thankful for that.  After pulling the engine, we were able to better assess the damage done to the wing by the fire.

Yes, we're doing the right thing.  The wing did indeed sustain substantial damage and the aircraft is not worth repairing.  Besides, finding this exact replacement wing is nearly impossible.  We had been praying for wisdom and our Lord is certainly showing us that we're proceeding in the right direction.

I spent the day "inside the cockpit" pulling all of the instruments out.  This bird was beautifully equipped and the instruments will be a great blessing.

Today, we'll be continuing to "salvage" all that we can.  We're also meeting with a Salvage Expert who will be giving us his professional opinion of the value of the airplane less the engines and instruments.

It was a long day of driving yesterday, and today, I'll be back on the road to Williston (X60) to continue the project.  I'd better gulp down a second cup and hit the road.

Oh, we're so THANKFUL for your prayer, love and support!!

HOLY SMOKE....PRAYER REALLY WORKS (I KNEW THAT)

Came across this very interesting and compelling article on the "Power of Prayer".  The remarkable thing this is, just how many categories are listed that are directly effected by prayer, faith and going to church.  Take a moment and read this one - SCIENCE PROVES THE HEALING POWER OF PRAYER

I have often said (many times to myself), "If we really know what happened when we prayed....we'd pray more".  The bottom line is:  we have a loving God who cares for us and listens to our prayer!!

Don't worry, we'll not likely pray too much.  The Bible tells us to...PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.  The more we put our trust in the Lord, the better things will go for us.  It's that simple.

So, with those encouraging words, I hope we all pray more.  Many times, just going through life and being aware of our Lord and knowing that we don't have to face our struggles alone, brings hope when there seems to be no hope.  Yes, PRAYER WORKS!

This morning, I'll be headed to Williston, FL (by road).  Plan to meet Bill to work on the Aztec.  We hope to get the right engine running to check it all out today.

We'll be beginning the long process of preparing the Aztec for service to our Lord, whichever way that might be.  Again, we PRAY and ask our Lord Jesus to direct our path!

Time to hit the road.  As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

A QUICK FLIGHT - A CLOSER LOOK & A SERIOUS PRAYER FOR WISDOM

Bill flew the extraordinary Velocity up from Vero to pick me up.  What would normally be nearly a 2.5+ hour road trip was done in less than 40 minutes in the very quick Velocity.

We landed at Williston (X60) and taxied right up to the "stricken" Aztec.  This shot shows the unique lines of the Velocity.

What a cool airplane.  Bill has done an amazing job on this great gift to his ministry (airborneministries.org) .

I must tell you also, Bill and I go way back.  He is, in my humble opinion, a GREAT mechanic and pilot.  So glad he's able to assist us with the Aztec.  Yes, here it comes....."Surely, God knows how to deploy His troops!!"

Upon first glance at the Aztec, the damage does not appear to be very severe.  But, as one gets closer, the evidence of the heat from the ground fire becomes clear. Thankfully, there were no injuries in the fire.

The main problem is the unknown internal damage done to the wing spar, requiring the replacement of the entire wing.

Replacement wings are not readily available and when one is located, the cost may exceed the value of the entire airplane.

Bill and I took some time to PRAY right there on the spot and ask our Lord for WISDOM as to how to proceed.

Our next step will be to begin taking the aircraft apart and getting it ready for transport or, to "part-it-out".  Again, we ask you to join together in prayer for our Lord to lead and direct us.

So, looks like our work is cut out for us for the next week or so.  Meanwhile, our other great mechanic, Paul has begun the Annual Inspection on the Little Donkey.  Every year, this is required.  We're not working any major issues and we hope and pray that the Annual will go smoothly.

We truly appreciate your prayer, love and support.  THANK YOU again!!

REMEMBER THE AZTEC?

Air Mobile Ministries was recently donated a Piper Aztec.  You may recall, the Aztec was owned by our late friend and Brother in Christ, Ken Marks.  The aircraft was damaged in an unfortunate "ground" fire, but still has tremendous value.

My other great friend, Bill (who donated the Little Donkey to Air Mobile) and I will be flying over to Williston, FL to check out the Aztec this morning.  We'll be planning the strategy to take the wings off and "trailer" it back to our hangar.

There, we'll determine just what to do....repair it or "part it out".  Please pray that we have a safe flight and above all, wisdom as to how to proceed.  Also, THANK YOU, Marks Family for this very generous donation!

I'd like to share a story with you about "Asking for Wisdom".  Yesterday evening, after a long day on little sleep was just lying in bed.  Just before drifting off to sleep, I saw my old tattered Bible on the bedside table.  I just needed a bit of the Word of God...

So, I held it for a moment and then "opened it up".  My eyes fell on I King 3 - where Solomon prayed for Wisdom.  He could have asked the Lord for anything.  But, he asked Him for Wisdom.  What a great story.

BTW, our Lord really wants to give us His Wisdom.  All we have to do is humbly ASK, as James tell us in Chapter 1:5.

Again, please pray with us that our Lord will lead and guide as to how to proceed with this great donation of the Aztec.

Time to head to the airport.  Bill will be flying over in his very unique Velocity aircraft with the timeless and powerful message on the bottom.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

BACK IN FLORIDA

The 13 hour trip from Tennessee to Florida was without incident.  We're thankful for the safe journey.  We pulled into our driveway at 2:30am.....thus this later than usual blog.  Just had to sleep in a bit this morning.

We passed some snow covered mountains in North Carolina.  Winter is just hanging on a bit longer than usual.

On the drive home, as we rotated drivers between Cindy, Peter and myself, was able to scan the news and check e-mail on my I-Phone at 70 mph in the middle of "no-where".  Just love the technology.

I well remember when a CB Radio, particularly one that was "built-in" was a big thing...."Breaker-Breaker 19"...  How far we've come!

Was also keenly aware of the freedom that we have in America, to be able to move about without "check points"....well, we have them every now and then, but they're not a "way of life" for us....yet.

Now, that we're back in Florida, we'll be gathering up supplies for our next mission to Haiti.

We're also making good progress for the upcoming India Mission (June 4th-14th).  We're eager to get over there and bring clean water to those precious children.  We're just thankful to be able to do this!!

Now, it's time to head over to the Psychiatric Hospital in Orlando and minister with the young and adults who are in this facility.  It's nice to be able to minister "at home and abroad".

Again, it's good to remember, that which we do so freely and with relative ease, could cost us our life in many countries around the world.  Let us not forget that, and let us remember to PRAY for those who are facing persecution around the world.

THANK YOU again for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

SNOW FLURRIES IN THE SPRING

Woke up to a very brisk 19 degrees this morning in the Retreat Cabin in the mountains of East Tennessee.  We're receiving a light dusting of snow.  Sure doesn't feel like Spring!!  A bunch of cold records are on the line today.  Here's more - TEMPERATURE ROLLER COASTER IN THE NORTHEAST

Oh, we're going to miss this place, but it's time to head back to Florida.  We have a service to conduct in the Orlando Hospital on Sunday and our Kids will be back in school on Monday.

We'll be on the road in a couple of hours.  This last week has been an awesome blessing.  Our Lord promises us...."Seek Me and you will find Me".  We've had a wonderful time of rest and "re-creation" and just seeking the Lord!

Often, and we've been guilty of this...we just say, "We're too busy to take the time to just seek the Lord".  And, there are times that we just can't "get away" to do that.  But...when we do, He will meet us and meet us in special ways!  While "resting" in the cabin, our Lord did so many wonderful things in our hearts!  So glad we "took the time" to do this!!

Yesterday, we drove over to Harrogate, TN, the home of Lincoln Memorial University (LMU).  There is a great Museum dedicated to Lincoln.  We really enjoyed it and had our good friends, Richard and Teresa with us.

Ariana enjoyed it and became part of the display.  This was such a good learning time for her.

Lincoln had, without a doubt, the toughest assignment of any U.S. President.  If you're ever in this area of Tennessee, be sure to check this great Museum out.

After the time at the Museum, we shared a delightful meal with Richard and Teresa. Again, we would not have found the "Retreat Cabin" without their help.  We really love these Guys!!

So, it's time to pack up and "hit the road" for Florida.  THANK YOU again for meandering down this road of life with us.  We so appreciate your prayer, love and support!!

BETRAYAL!!!

The U.S. Administration "de-classified" Top Secret Information (TSI) regarding the Israeli Nuclear Program.  This move is unprecedented and a clear betrayal of our best Ally in the Middle East.  I'm shocked!  Here's more on this unbelievable move - U.S. DECLASSIFIES DOCUMENT REVEALING ISRAEL'S NUCLEAR PROGRAM

Israel is fighting for it's very life, it's very existence.  This country is completely surrounded by nations that want nothing but it's complete annihilation and now.... the U.S. has joined them by this inexplicable betrayal.  God help America!

Just take a look at this map and right in the very middle is a tiny red spot....that is Israel!

And to further bring this to light, take a look at these staggering statistics regarding Israel and her "neighbors"!

And, on top of this latest terrible political move, the U.S. has apparently caved to Iran on this nuclear deal.  This is not the first "bad move", but a continuation of a series that is causing the Mideast to spiral out of control.

Here's another telling story of what is happening in this extremely volatile region of the world - OBAMA'S MIDEAST "FREE-FALL"

We can't escape what is happening before our very eyes.  Jesus spoke of this time in Luke 21:20...."and when you see Jerusalem surrounded by enemies...."

We're coming to the end of our little "Retreat" to the cabin in the mountains of East Tennessee.  This is our last day here.  We'll be hitting the road in the morning to head back to Florida.

During this time of peace and rest, we've been able to do a lot of praying, study and research and Folks, believe me, we're living in very, very dangerous times.  Could this be the very hour spoken of by Jesus and so many prophets?

We are more determined than ever to be just where He wants us to be.  We have the ability to bring folks clean water and demonstrate the love of God and for that we're very thankful.  We have so many that stand with us, including you, in this noble venture.

We did have a good day of doing chores and cleaning up and repairing our little lawn tractor.  Cindy loves mowing the grass around the retreat cabin.  It's therapeutic!

Today, we'll be meeting with our dear friends, Richard and Teresa.  Teresa helped us find this wonderful Retreat Cabin.  We're looking forward to the fellowship.

Oh, it's really chilly this morning....31 degrees and falling.  Yes, I know, it's all because of "Global Warming".

So, it's time to bundle up and wrap up a few remaining chores before we head back down to, hopefully, sunny and warm Florida.

As always, THANK YOU for your faithful and vital prayer, love and support!

BREAKING NEWS ON GERMANWINGS FLIGHT 4U9525

Compelling evidence that the tragic crash that killed 150, was a deliberate act at the hands of the Co-Pilot.  This story is breaking as I type this blog.

There is still much research and investigation to be done, but it does appear that  "smoking gun" evidence has been uncovered in the preliminary stages of this terrible tragedy.  Here's more - PROSECUTOR: GERMAN CO-PILOT APPEARED TO 'WANT TO DESTROY THE PLANE'. INTENTIONALLY SENT IT INTO DESCENT

We may never know what actually happened.  What we do know is that many lives were suddenly and tragically lost.  Our prayers go out to the families of the victims.

Yesterday evening, I had the wonderful opportunity to share a message that our Lord has been giving Cindy and me while on our "Retreat" here in the Cabin in the Mountains of East Tennessee.

The essence of the message is...."Trust God" no matter what happens.  This will give us untold strength and courage for the days ahead.  Oh Lord, please continue to teach this message to me.

While here, in this somewhat isolated and beautiful spot, thanks to a strong internet connection (though the cell coverage is quite spotty), Cindy and I are able to conduct ministry business with relative ease.  We've been in touch with Sam in India who will be hosting our team there this summer.

Been able to reach out to our Brothers in Christ in Pakistan to help bring clean water to suffering Christians there, who are under relentless attack because of their faith in Jesus.

We're also able to work on securing our next load for Haiti that will include formula, diapers, medicine and much more.  I love this shot of the Little Donkey "loaded" with great supplies for Haiti.

In so many ways, the internet is a "two-edged" sword.  It can do so much good and also bring much harm.  Like so many things in life, it just depends upon how you use it.  I love the fact, that because of the internet, no matter where you are (as long as you have a signal), you can conduct Kingdom Business for the Glory of God!

Today, we'll be doing some "chores" around the cabin that will include taking a little lawn tractor apart to figure out why the engine dies and spits gas out of the carburetor.  There was also a fair amount of damage from all of the snow that fell recently.  We'll be busy today.

And, though we're several days into Spring, there's a cold wind blowing with thunderstorms in the forecast, and the temperature will fall to near freezing tonight.  So, time to bundle up and get to work.

Cindy and I so appreciate your faithful prayer, love and support.  Be blessed today!!

PONDERING THE 11TH HOUR

How many of us have been delivered at the 11th hour?  Personally, there are too many times for me to name.  Our Lord has come through again and again for me, often in stunning fashion.

I'm sure, you too can recall times, that He has delivered you when it seemed like there was no possible way out.  He is the God of the Impossible.

But....what about the times, that He seemingly, "did not come through".  The plane crashed...or the person you prayed for died, or the home was lost, etc. etc.  What happened then?

I cannot speak for anyone but myself in these matters. What I can say is that He has walked with me through each and every tragedy and hard time.  Often, it is in those very difficult times that my trust in Him has grown the most.  Just knowing that He is with me and will never leave me or forsake me brings great comfort to my soul, as well as unknown strength to endure.

I can look back on my life and say that He has taken so many bad situations and turned them for good.  The Scripture in Romans 8:28..."All things work together for the good to those who love God...." takes on the most meaning for me.  That Scripture has  sustained me on more than one occasion.

Our Lord wants us to trust Him, no matter what happens in our life.  He is working on me!  I believe that when I more fully grasp this truth, my courage and faith in Him will grow.

So, as Cindy and I have been studying the Word of God and comparing Scriptures to what is happening in this world, one things stands out very clearly.  We need to trust  God through the days that are coming on the earth.  It is in this trust that we grow and receive His direction and guidance.

We're in touch with Believers who are in Pakistan.  They are facing "death sentences" every day because they love and serve Jesus.  We're working to help bring clean water to the persecuted believers in Pakistan as well as in other countries where believing in Jesus can cost ones life.  There are many details that I cannot share on this blog.

Just thought I'd share these "ponderings" with you today.  Please remember those who are being persecuted for their faith around the world.

Yesterday, we were walking along when we came across a very large paw print.  Mmmm, what could it be?  We came back and brought a tape measure and took a shot.  We think this was a big canine of some sort.  We've been hearing a lot Coyotes but this print was big for even them.

We brought our very own "Canine" expert to examine the paw print.  Sammy, our Chihuahua, was impressed with the size.

After our excursion out and our little "walk about", it was back to Rummy and Apple Pie.  Cindy baked 2 on Monday and we enjoyed the second one yesterday.

This evening, Cindy and I will be speaking at our Tennessee Church.  We love these folks and look forward to sharing the things that our Lord has been showing us.

I'd like to leave you with this thought today.  No matter what you may be going through or facing, TRUST GOD!  He loves you and will "Never leave you nor forsake you"!

So, on this brisk morning in the mountains of East Tennessee, I say THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

YOUTUBE & APPLE PIE

YouTube is a wonderful tool...if one has a little time.  Cindy and I eased through yesterday doing some very cool research on the End Times and used YouTube a lot.

Now, one has to "sort" through a lot of stuff to find quality info, but what a nice way to spend the day.  Good coffee, a balmy 65 degrees and a quiet cabin.

We particularly focused on ones that had current news and a lot of scriptural references.  Folks, when one takes a bit time and lays out the evidence....whoa, we're in very compelling times!

I'm reminded of Jesus rebuking the Scribes and Pharisees for being able to forecast weather quite accurately but couldn't discern the "Signs of the Times".  We don't want to be guilty of that!

Then, my Cindy gathered a bunch of beautiful apples.  She had a plan.

Then, she gathered some special ingredients to "transform" those apples into something even more delicious.

Next, she invited Peter to join her.  Figured it was time for him to learn how to make an apple pie.

Then, after a little over an hour, out came the most delicious apple pie that I can remember eating.

We four, Cindy, Peter, Ariana and I demolished that Apple Pie in one sitting.  Now, that's a nice way to spend a day in the mountains.

Well, it's hard to beat yesterday, with the good study of the Word and taking the time to really study the world events and good coffee and apple pie, but....we're going to try today to beat yesterday!

While sitting in the cabin, I saw a missed call on my cell phone.  Didn't recognize the number.  My phone was hanging onto about half a bar of signal.  I listened to the voice mail.

The voice was that of "Billionaire" that wants to do some philanthropic work in Haiti.  Of course, I called him back and we talked for nearly 30 minutes.  Can't give any details at this time, other than to ask you to pray that our Lord will direct this gentleman in his noble quest to help others.

You know, that phone call reminds me of the Scripture...."Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you".

When we made the trek up here to the cabin, it was mainly to "Seek the Lord" and His direction.  Then the phone rang.  Could our Lord have directed that gentleman to call?  I suspect so.

Today, we'll be doing the same thing.  Mmmm, wonder what idea Cindy will have regarding what we eat....I'm sure it will be delicious!

THANK YOU for wandering down this winding road of life with us.  And above all, THANK YOU for your vital and wonderful prayer, love and support!!

REFLECTING ON THE "TIMES"

One of the goals of coming to the Cabin in the Mountains of East Tennessee is to slow down and just reflect on the "Signs of the Times".  This pursuit began in earnest yesterday.

First, we headed to our "Home Church" here in Tennessee.  Pastor Dan had Peter lead music.  Oh, it was so sweet and the anointing of God was strong.  Peter is a blessing and using his musical gifts for the Glory of God!  We're so thankful!!

Pastor Dan delivered an extremely thought-provoking message on..."Is God a respecter of persons?".  I'm still pondering that great message.

Furthermore, he asked if I'd speak on Wednesday evening.  What an honor and blessing.  We do love these folks and we're so appreciative to the Lord for directing us to this 'neck of the woods...& mountains'.

After Church, it was a lazy day of napping, playing Rummy and watching movies.  Then, I began just googling in "End Time" articles.  Wow!!  "Prophetic News" appears to be unfolding before our eyes!

All that's going on between the U.S. and Israel with the "Nuclear Talks" with Iran and ISIS and Russia.  The 4 Blood Moons and Solar Eclipse with the Super Moons and the Spring Equinox.

Folks, things are happening so fast.  Glad that I'm able to slow down a bit and process these events and see how they fit into the Bible.

If I place my cell phone in an exact spot in the cabin it will capture 1 bar of signal so that I can send & receive calls.  If I move the phone 1" to the left or right, will lose signal.

We've got a pretty strong internet connection, so I'm able to monitor e-mails and scan the news.  But...being away from my usual "stomping grounds" allows that precious time to pray and reflect and still be connected.

So, here we are in the Cabin and connected and seeking the Lord.  Nice place to be.  It's time to fix some grits and eggs and Andouille sausage (a Louisiana specialty)*.  We'll see what our Lord shows us today.  Glad you're along for the journey.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

*  Now, to any "Cajuns" from Baton Rouge reading this blog....I couldn't find any Manda Andouille here in Tennessee.  Joe

SAFE JOURNEY....CRAZY WORLD

Well, we hit the road yesterday before the sun rose, shrouded in a heavy mist, to traverse the Southeast U.S. from Florida to Tennessee.

Cindy made a sack of sandwiches, we had a big bag of Bugles Nacho Cheese (really good) and bought gas for $2.09 per gallon.  We kept our coffee mugs full and the wheels on our little gold Ford Escape never stopped rolling.

As the landscape changed from flat to mountains, our spirits seemed to rise accordingly.  We're ready for a little "retreat".  We love this road trip!  We pulled up to the Tennessee cabin just as the sun was setting.  Thank God for a safe journey.

This morning, we'll be attending our Tennessee Church.  We've missed Pastor Dan and the rest of the Believers who meet to worship there.  For the next week, we're hoping to spend some quiet time and resting in the Lord.

Oh, the headlines still "blare" and the world is certainly shaking.  Just read how the Ayatollah Khamenei said "Death to America" and John Kerry said...."The negotiations are going very well" and then some Poetry was read to show that Americans are really nice guys.

I'm not joking.  Here's the story - KHAMENEI CALLS "DEATH TO AMERICA" - AS KERRY HAILS PROGRESS ON NUKE DEAL    Hmmm, wonder how that's going to work out???

Folks, that's why we're getting away for a few days.  This old world is "teetering" on the edge of disaster.

We simply want to be obedient to the Spirit of God and be where He wants us to be.  Sometimes, it's good to just "come apart" before we "come-apart".  Thus, our little "retreat" in the mountains to PRAY!!

It's 38 degrees here and we're getting ready to head to Church.  We'll be sharing on our upcoming India Mission.  BTW, we just received this video that was put together by Sam, our host in India.  Take a look - AIR MOBILE'S UPCOMING MISSION TO INDIA

Meanwhile, our "Chaplain Team", the Menendez's, will be conducting service at the Hospital in Orlando in our absence. We're so THANKFUL for those who stand with us.  And, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

SPRING HAS ARRIVED - WOW!

Not only did Spring arrive, but it came with Solar Eclipse and a Super Moon.  We couldn't see the eclipse due to over cast, but I understand millions around the world did.

It was quite an extraordinary celestial show having all three at once.  Here's a bit more on what happened in the "heavenlies" yesterday - NOT JUST A SOLAR ECLIPSE - 3 SPECTACULAR EVENTS AT ONCE!

Our kids are out of school for a week.  Mmmmmm, a perfect situation for a little "break".  It's time to head to the little cabin in the mountains of Tennessee and spend some quiet time with the Lord.  We're up early packing and will soon be on the road.

Our kids have been working hard in school and it's been non-stop activity since I landed from Haiti last Tuesday.  A "break" in the mountains sounds like a very. very good idea!

We love this road trip up to Tennessee.  We leave the flat-lands of Florida and begin to hit the mountains just after passing through South Carolina.  There's something so majestic and tranquil about the mountains.  Glad we're able to do this.

Well, it's a short blog this morning.  Can hardly wait to see those mountains.  We'd appreciate your prayers for a safe journey and good time of rest and reflection.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious and greatly appreciated prayer, love and support!!

CHRISTIANITY THE MOST PERSECUTED FAITH WORLD-WIDE!

Having traveled into 44+ countries, primarily bringing in clean water, and the Good News of Jesus, following devastating disasters, I know "first-hand" that Christians are persecuted!

At times, the lives of our team-members have been in jeopardy.  Our Lord has been with us and protected us, for which we are very thankful.

In a follow-up to yesterday's Blog, came across this very revealing article and wanted to share it with you.  PLEASE take a few moments and read it.  The statistics are staggering.  Doug Bandow, the author of the article has done an incredible job of bringing this truth to light.

Yes, many in America are "asleep" as to what is happening world-wide.  Don't think for a moment that this can't happen in America!!  Here's the article - REPORT: CHRISTIANITY THE MOST PERSECUTED FAITH WORLD-WIDE

BTW, here's a quote from this article and note that Air Mobile has been to 4 of the top 5 countries....
At the top of the list for failing on both fronts are Burma/Myanmar, Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Russia, “where both the government and society at large impose numerous limits on religious beliefs and practices.”

It is so important that we get this truth out.  I DO NOT understand why the U.S. Government is so slow to recognize this and it certainly appears that little or nothing is being done about it by America.

Now, that I have brought this forward again in this Blog, you might ask, "Joe, what can I do?".  My simple encouragement to you is to PRAY!  Our most POWERFUL WEAPON IS PRAYER!!

If we are unaware of these things....or choose to simply not think about them, it does not mean that they go away.  As I wrote yesterday, "Let's not just sing a little louder"!

Well, I've certainly gone on about this disturbing subject.  I felt it important to bring this to you. Remember, the best thing we can do is PRAY.  As I always say, THANK YOU for standing faithfully with us with your prayer, love and support and remember to PRAY for those who are being persecuted for their faith world-wide.

WHY ARE WE SILENT??

Christians around the world are being persecuted.  I just heard back from the Missionaries who had traveled to Pakistan (they brought 2 Air Mobile Rescuers).  They were actually in the neighborhood where 2 Pakistani Christian churches were attacked and 15+ killed and 70+ wounded.  This is real and it's happening right before our eyes!  Why are so many silent??

Here's an interview with a young lady, Juliana Taimoorazy, who fled Syria because of religious persecution.

She has started an organization to bring attention to the plight of suffering Christians around the world.  Please take a moment to see this interview - CHRISTIANS / GERMAN-NAZI / ASSYRIAN PERSECUTION  To some Western Christians, this is an "Inconvenient Truth" and they just "Sing A Little Louder"!

Folks, please research these things and join together and pray and support those who are suffering unimaginable brutality.  Here's the link to Iraqi Christian Relief - IraqiChristianRelief.org

Cindy and I had the precious opportunity to preach the Gospel freely to a beloved group of Believers, AKA - The O.W.L.S. (Older Wiser Loving or Laughing Saints).
We love this group and have shared with them on many occasions.  We're so thankful to be backed up with their prayers and love!!

We still have freedom to preach the Gospel and serve our Lord Jesus.  Many, around the world would be killed for having such a service.  Let us remember....

I must be honest with you.  There are times that the weight of the suffering and persecuted and thirsty around the world is just overwhelming.  There is so much that we want to do, but we are limited.  I have to just ask our Lord Jesus to lead and guide and show us exactly what He wants us to do.

That is why, I so often (daily) THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!  God bless!!

BIBI WINS!  - VERY POWERFUL GEOMAGNETIC STORM HITS EARTH & IF YOU HAVE SOLAR POWER...BE PREPARED FOR A "BLACK-OUT" ON FRIDAY! - RESCUERS NEEDED IN VANUATU!!

The current U.S. Administration was hoping this would not happen....but it did! Here's more on that election - ST. PATRICK'S DAY MIRACLE...IN ISRAEL - NETANYAHU COMES FROM BEHIND TO WIN!

Benjamin Netanyahu will remain the Prime Minister of Israel.  I recall sitting in a Walmart parking lot recently, listening to Netanyahu (AKA:  Bibi) give one of the most amazing speeches to the U.S. Congress that I have ever heard.  One thing is for sure...Bibi loves his country!!

Meanwhile, yesterday, a VERY POWERFUL GEOMAGNETIC STORM struck our earth!  This was a G-4 (G-5 being the highest).  Apparently, 2 Eruptions occurred on the 15th and joined together to form one, very large, very powerful storm.

We will be feeling the effects for the next 24 hours.  Power grids, communications and navigation may disrupted.  But...it appears as if our earth has "dodged a bullet"!  None the less,  I personally went and fueled both of our cars yesterday.

And...on Friday, we're expecting an awesome series of Celestial Events!  A Solar Eclipse, A Supermoon and the Spring Equinox, all in the same day.  Oh, this might occur every 100,000 years or so...no big thing (Not!!)!  Here's more - SOLAR ECLIPSE - SUPERMOON - SPRING EQUINOX - 3 RARE SOLAR EVENTS, ALL IN ONE DAY!
Solar Eclipses are extraordinary events but... the loss of sunlight can cause MAJOR PROBLEMS to those who depend upon the sun for energy.  Check out this story of Europe bracing for major "power" outages when the sun hides - EUROPE BRACES FOR 'UNPRECEDENTED' POWER ISSUES DURING FRIDAY'S SOLAR ECLIPSE

This morning, Cindy and I will be speaking to the O.W.L.S. (Older - Wiser - Loving - Saints).  We love this group that meets at Space Coast Assembly of God in Titusville, FL.  Their combined wisdom and experience in the Lord is staggering.

We're also in close touch with Remote Area Medical (RAM) about the ongoing crisis in Vanuatu following powerful Typhoon Pam.

RAM is putting together a medical team at this time and would like to bring in several Air Mobile Rescuers.

PLEASE PRAY with us that the funding comes in for these life-saving units.  If our Lord prompts you to DONATE toward this, please use the "Donate" button in the upper left of the blog.  THANK YOU!

So, it's time to get on with this day that our Lord has made.  Let us rejoice and be glad in it and...hear His voice and follow His direction!  As always, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

"BUT THE LORD TESTS THE HEARTS...."

Was reading in Proverbs this morning (yes, 17, because today is the 17th) and Verse 3 jumped out at me.  We all face challenges and often, our faith is tested.  The only way to see what's really in our hearts is to "heat it up".

This is so true.  We know from experience, that to see if a machine will endure, it must be put through tests to see how it holds together in extreme circumstances.

I'm just glad that our Lord is with us and has promised to NEVER leave us or forsake us, even when we're in the fire.

Yesterday, as I was attempting to bring my very long "To Do List" under control (always a battle), my mind was on the folks in Vanuatu after the vicious storm, and the Christians who were brutally attacked in Pakistan, as well as dear friends who are dealing with what appears to be terminal diseases.

What can we do to help those who are suffering?  Hold on tightly to Jesus and seeks His direction and do what we can for those in need.

I heard from my friend, who is pilot in New Zealand.  He made a relief flight into Vanuatu (Port Vila) yesterday in a Bae146.  There is a lot of destruction and he's checking on the "need for clean water" as well as providing critical information on what's happening on the ground.

A number of islands in the chain were just flattened by Typhoon Pam with winds that reached 165+mph.  We'll continue to monitor the situation.

As you may have heard, we're planning a mission to India in June.  Yesterday, spoke with another friend who flies for Delta and he may be able to help us with some Buddy Passes.  Of course, I've been in touch with our dear "Delta Rose" and she too is working on helping us to get to India.  Where would we be without so many friends??  All I can say is...THANK GOD!!

So, it's time to "attack" that "To Do List" and seek to do what our Lord wants us to do.  We so appreciate you and your invaluable love, prayer and support.  THANK YOU!!

DAY 3 - THE 'AIRSHOW' FINALE & NEWS FROM VANUATU & HORROR IN PAKISTAN

The "Finale" of the Tico Warbird 2015 Airshow was the best.  So many good friends came by and we met so many new ones!  The "Aviation Community" is extraordinary and I'm simply glad to be part of it.

Our "Water Mule In-Training", Mark, did great.  Mark is also a pilot in-training and wants to dedicate more time to Air Mobile.

You may recall, Mark's Dad, Joe, introduced me to Jesus many years ago.  Actually Joe, relentlessly pursued me until I surrendered to Jesus.  Joe is my best friend on this earth!

Over the last few days, have been following the massive destruction unleashed upon Vanuatu Island in the Pacific.  News has been very, very sketchy, but finally bits and pieces of information have been trickling in.

Also received a note from a good friend in New Zealand, Brian, who may be flying relief there today.  Am eagerly awaiting an accurate "ground report" from that small island that was devastated by 168+mph winds.  Here's a map of where Vanatu is located.

Clean water is always needed and Air Mobile may be sending some help.  PLEASE pray with  us regarding this urgent need.  Here's more on Vanuatu - VANUATU STRUGGLES TO ACCOUNT FOR DAMAGE / DEATHS FOLLOWING CYCLONE PAM

Recently, we sent 2 Air Mobile Rescuers to Pakistan via some very brave and courageous Missionaries.  They flew into Lahore, Pakistan.  Shortly after they departed, blood thirsty, deranged "Terrorist" bombed 2 Christian Churches killing 15 and injuring 70 more.

I wholly agree with Pope Francis regarding the Persecution of Christians - Here's more - POPE FRANCIS: THE WORLD IS TRYING TO HIDE THE PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS!

PLEASE PRAY for those whose lives are in extreme jeopardy simply for believing in Jesus!  Also, please pray for those who have lost loved ones and those who are wounded and suffering for their faith in Pakistan and....around the world!

So, it's Monday morning and I've got a "full plate" of things to do.  Time to get on with it.  As always, THANK YOU for your precious and faithful prayer, love and support!!

DAY 2 - 'THE AIRSHOW'

Having Cindy and Ariana at the Airshow was a GREAT blessing!  My Cindy tells the story of our mission so well.

BTW, Cindy is still experiencing significant pain from the blood clots.  Please remember her in your prayer!

So many folks passed by our Little Donkey / Rescuer Display.  Among them, a couple of Grandkids....Levi in the Cockpit.

Followed by his little brother, Judah.  These are two very fine prospective Missionary Pilots!  Oh, you know how we get when we talk about our Grandkids!!

Of course, there were hundreds of perfect "photo ops", but being very busy speaking with literally hundreds of folks, all I can do is remember, in my mind, all of the images and faces and stories and maneuvers from the Tico Warbird 2015 Airshow!

Today is the last day.  Cindy and Ariana will go to Church and then to the Hospital to minister there.  I'll be on the Flight-Line telling folks about our ministry and Jesus.

I must also add, had so many great friends come by.  Also had some serious prayer time with some.  This is such a grand opportunity to reach and meet and re-connect and above all, pray together.  I love it!!

Today, I'll be joined by Mark, the son of Joe who introduced me to Jesus many, many years ago.  Mark has a deep passion to serve the Lord and is extremely interested in Air Mobile (he is a serious "Water Mule" in training!).  I am blessed!!

So, it's that time.  Slam down that much needed second cup of java and head to the airport for the final day of the Airshow.  As always, THANK YOU for standing so faithfully with us with your precious and vital prayer, love and support!!!

"THUNDER" OVERHEAD - DONKEY BELOW

The "Thunder-birds" that is....Air Mobile was at the TICO WARBRIRDS 2015 AIRSHOW yesterday and we'll be there today and Sunday.  Wow!!  What a Show!!

The Thunderbirds are spectacular!!  The magnificent display and flights of Warbirds, both old and new makes ones heart beat fast!

We're always blessed to attend this Airshow. When I returned from Haiti on Tuesday, our local Air Traffic Controller asked me if I'd be "set up" and displaying the "Little Donkey".

Had been so busy with Haiti and life that I'd completely forgotten about the Airshow.  Immediately upon landing, I went around the corner to visit my good friend, Marvin.  His wife works for the Valiant Air Command (VAC), the organization that puts on the show.

I made a "last minute" request to be part of the Airshow and it was GRANTED!  Not only for Air Mobile, but also for my great friend and Brother in Christ, Bill of Airborne Ministries!

Peter and I arrived early yesterday and set up for this great Show!  BTW, it looks he's getting taller and I'm getting shorter!!

Also, had another "Water Mule" in training help by spending all Thursday evening cleaning and waxing the Little Donkey.  Thanks Mark!!

Bill flew his beautiful and unique "Velocity" Aircraft up from Vero Beach and before landing, made 3 low, very fast passes and angled the Velocity to deliver a message to the crowd...."JESUS SAVES"!!

I love these events because it brings out people who truly love aviation.  There is such a wonderful "camaraderie" among aviation enthusiasts!!  We love sharing how we use small airplanes to deliver a lot of clean water and the Good News of Jesus.  It's a great combination!!

So, it's time to head to the airport and tell others about Jesus and Clean Water!  As always, THANK YOU for your precious and faithful prayer, love and support!!

FAREWELL TO ROSIE

Yesterday afternoon, our dear little Rosie passed away succumbing to wounds inflicted on her by a raccoon.   We're simply heart-broken.  Rosie was 11 years old and brought our family so much joy.

I distinctly recall when, we were on a trip out West, and while passing through El Paso, Texas, we decided to buy a Chihuahua.  We had heard that they were good for children with asthma.  Peter had asthma.

We went to a Restaurant and looked through a "Thrifty Nickel" and found an ad for "Cute Chihuahua Puppies".

We asked the owner to bring all of the puppies over (we met in a Walmart parking lot),  so that we could select the one we wanted.  We gave Peter the Choice.  Peter immediately, and without hesitation, chose Rosie.  The rest is history.

I don't fully understand the great love that one can have for a little creature.  It's simply a "God-Thing".  There is no doubt in my mind that our Lord made this special relationship.

Though we will miss our Little Rosie terribly, we are so thankful for all of these years of joy that she brought to us.  Please pray for our family as we work through this.  His Grace is sufficient.

Well, life goes on.  Today, we will be setting up at the TICO WARBIRD 2015 AIRSHOW.  We were invited to attend and it's such an honor to do so.

The Airshow will be at Space Coast Regional Airport (KTIX), located right next to Kennedy Space Center.

If you're in the area, come on out.  It's a GREAT AIRSHOW and just look for the "Little Donkey".  We'll also have an Air Mobile Rescuer set up and on display.  Hope to see you there!!

With a sad heart, we go forth into this day.  Again, THANK YOU for your precious and greatly appreciated prayer, love and support!!

3-12-15 Thursday 6:53AM (Eastern U.S. Time) - Cocoa, FL - Air Mobile Home Base  – Report submitted by:  Air Mobile Joe

A "LONG" DAY WITH GRACE AT THE END

Began yesterday by calling Apple.  My I-Phone 5s has had a "dead spot" on the screen for some time and have just been "living" with it.  Have to turn it all kind of different directions, and slide my finger just right, to get it to work.  It's been driving me crazy.  So....

I scheduled an appointment at an Apple Store.  The problem is, it was days away.  After deep discussion with Apple, decided to take a chance and just "walk- in".

Had another problem.  The 1 Year Warranty had expired 6 days ago.  OH, I needed some Grace!

Drove 60 miles to the closest Apple Store and it was "jam-packed".  I hear it's always like that.  I put my name in line and braced for a long wait.

Had my Computer and found a very nice Restaurant (Brio's)  with a corner table right at a main entrance of the Mall.  Had plenty of work to do, so I settled in for the long wait to hear my call back to the Apple Store.

Have you ever gone to a Mall and just sat and watched people walk by?  Rarely do I get such a chance.  Well, yesterday was my day.

My server kept me in coffee, and I had a delicious lunch.  Meanwhile, I plunked away at e-mails and such and just watched a steady stream of folks walking in and out of the beautiful Millenia Mall in Orlando.  For the most part, people appeared to be happy going in and coming out.

I particularly watched the faces of the men who were accompanying their wives carrying a lot of bags out. They seemed to be "moderately" happy.  I further thought about how "prosperous" the U.S. is in comparison with so many third-world countries.  Having just returned from Haiti, the contrast was "stark".

I sat there for nearly 4 hours and overall, it was quite pleasant and I did get a lot work done.  Then, the call came.

Upon arrival at the Apple Store, I explained that on the 1 Year Date (the cut-off for the Warranty), I was in Haiti and there was NO Apple Store there.  Even showed the Tech my blog from Haiti on the expiration day.  Was skating on "thin ice", but I had to ask for GRACE.

The Tech at the "Apple Genius Bar" verified that the screen was definitely bad and that indeed the Warranty was expired and....he'd check with the Manager to see if there was a little Grace for me.

We're now about 5 hours into this operation.  I was told to leave the ailing phone and come back after all the diagnostics were done.

Another hour passes.  I return.  The phone cannot be repaired and it must be replaced and.....after careful consideration of all the facts (being out of the Country and the relief work we're doing), the Manager APPROVED the replacement of the phone at NO CHARGE & they even threw in a new charging plug.  YEA APPLE!!

Then came the long transfer of Data.  While waiting at the Brio Restaurant earlier, did a full back-up.  Restoring the phone took another 2 hours.  Then, it was all done.  Had a new I-Phone 5s at no charge.  Then had the hour drive home.  It was a full 8 hour day, but worth every minute of it.  THANK GOD for GRACE!!

Upon arrival at home, Cindy told me that Rosie, our sweet little Chihuahua had gotten into a life & death fight with a racoon.  She was all torn up.  Cindy had rushed her to the Vet and they patched her up and gave her some strong pain medicine.  This morning, Cindy is back at the Vet with Rosie stitching her up.  Please pray for our Rosie as she recovers.

BTW, last week, our other Chihuahua, Sammy, got into a battle with the racoons and sustained similar injuries.  He's recovering nicely.

We live in the country and raccoons  are very common and difficult to control.  So, I ask you to pray with us for more GRACE for our two little dogs.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

SMOOTH RIDE HOME....WEEK IN REVIEW

As is the case with every Haiti "Mission", there is a time to come home.  We have 11 Air Mobile Rescuers all ready for "action" (our "swap-out" reserve).  We currently have 337 Rescuers in operation every day bringing a lot of clean water to thirsty folks all over Haiti*.

Checked on and verified that the new Air Traffic Control (ATC) equipment was all in place and functioning properly.  The Controllers are very happy with the new equipment.

Our Harris Engineer, Donald, did some more training and worked on getting the final pieces into place for the new system.

Can't begin to tell you how good it is to talk to Port-Au-Prince over 120 miles out and the transmission is crystal clear!!  Many pilots flying into and out of Haiti are extremely pleased with the new equipment!!

Earlier in the week, we bid farewell to Sandra and Jane who have been running an orphanage close by.

Barbara has been like a "Mother" to these young missionaries, helping them to get more food for the kids and helping them to overcome so many challenges in Haiti.  We'll miss them.  We gave them a ride to the airport.

Of course, seeing Baby Rosie go from being just barely alive and unable to move any of her limbs to a thriving, very much alive and extremely happy little girl just melts my heart. This is the kind of work that Barb does and we're so glad to be part of it!!

And...there are so many folks who come and help in the mission. We were blessed to have Miss America (2011-2012) down again.  Teresa Scanlan loves the Lord and loves helping out with the kids.  We're so blessed to have so many standing with us!!

BTW, in this photo is Mercy (to the left).  Mercy was adopted 15 years ago and has come back to Haiti to help Barbara.  Wow, sometimes, I just get overwhelmed by how our Lord deploys His troops!!

Well, this little whirlwind review just tells a few of the high-lights of this week. Behind the scenes, I  have been able to PRAY with some great missionaries and have had the opportunity to tell a number of folks about Jesus and pray with them.

So, yesterday morning, the skies were clear and roads were relatively safe to travel on and I headed to the airport.  Did a thorough pre-flight on the Little Donkey and crawled in and fired up the engines.

Climbed to 12,500 feet and settled down to a very smooth ride and even had a 10-15 know tailwind for most of the flight home.  THANK YOU, LORD!  Love those tailwinds!!

Took a shot of the little mirror on the wing of the Little Donkey in flight.  This aircraft has been such an amazing blessing!  Just want to THANK Bill Duncklee again for donating it to Air Mobile!!

Flew back to Fort Pierce in a short 4 hours 10 minutes, thanks to those nice tailwinds.  Then back to our home-base in Titusville.  Met my Cindy for lunch and was just glad to be home.  It was a very, very good week.

You know, you join me on these missions with your prayer, love and support.  THANK YOU again!

ROAD REPORT:  CLEAR....FOR NOW

Fortunately, we have a good communication network that gives accurate "road reports" when things heat up in Haiti.  The Report from yesterday morning was...."the roads are extremely clear, very little traffic & no reported 'Manifestations' along your route".

Had scheduled a lunch with Ralph, one of the leaders of Haiti Air Ambulance.  Wanted to get together and get an update on his operation and discuss the extreme need in Haiti for a comprehensive "Search and Rescue" (SAR) operation.

So, I "dashed" into town.  The roads were as reported.  I spotted a few dark columns of smoke on the horizon that indicated a possible "Manifestation".  They like to burn tires and....other things.. to make a statement.  My route was completely clear, Thank God!

Arrived right on time and we had a great lunch that my Cindy would be very proud of...a nice Chef Salad.  Ralph and I discussed many thing, including educating the Haitian people to the fact that a helicopter can truly save a life.

For you see, many, particularly in the Provinces, have never witnessed or heard of a Helicopter Air Ambulance.  It is a new concept.

Think about it.  We in America and other developed countries have seen many helicopters at accidents or crash sights.  Many of our Haitian brothers and sisters have never seen such a thing.

Our job is to educate them and let it be known, far and wide that there is an Emergency Helicopter Air Ambulance service in Haiti.

On the way home, which was quite clear, I stopped in to see my good friend and Brother in Christ, David Heady (Global Outreach).  I found David in the "Generator Room" doing routine maintenance on one of his beautiful generators (you could eat off the floor).

We headed back up to the Mission House and were joined by Judy, David's wife.  We discussed the new Helicopter Ambulance Service and they had not heard a word about it.

I was quick to explain all about it and encouraged them to get the word out among all their friends, particularly in the remote, isolated regions of Haiti.  Let them know, that there is hope and help in time of need.

In many ways, this is like the Gospel.  Jesus is so good and He has come that we might have life and have it abundantly.  We just need to let folks know.  I'm reminded of the Scripture...."How beautiful are the feet of those who bring Good News".

Now, I know a Helicopter Air Ambulance can't compare to the Amazing Grace of our Lord Jesus, but it is because of the Amazing Grace of our Lord Jesus, that Ralph and Company have come to Haiti to help those in need.  Go Ralph & Company!!

Been adjusting to that "lost hour".  Up early this morning, enjoying a delicious cup of coffee and reflecting on the goodness of our Lord Jesus.  Yes, we need to let the world know all about Jesus!  He brings LIFE & not death!!

Another day in Haiti.  What lies ahead??  I don't know, but He does.  As always, THANK YOU for your faithful and greatly appreciate prayer, love and support!!

HANGING AROUND THE "VILLAGE"

Here in Haiti, there is a lot of discontent.  Today, there are a number of "Manifestations" (Riots) scheduled to take place in different parts of the City (Port-Au-Prince).  People are just unhappy with the way things are going.

In recent weeks there have been a number "Manifestations" over gas prices, the lack of elections, etc. etc.  Not sure what these current "Rumblings" are about today.  At any rate, it's a good idea not be on the streets...unless necessary.

So, been staying "Close to the Village" to avoid any problems.  Yesterday morning, we visited the Church, that Barb was instrumental in building, with the help of the Church at Viera.  The worship was sweet and very Haitian.

Then, it was "back to work" in Joe's Depot where we give tender, loving care to Air Mobile Rescuers that need a little attention.  What a pleasant surprise to be visited by my dear friend, Bernard.  We go back 35 years!!

Bernard is fellow pilot and Mechanical Engineer and knows a lot about a lot of stuff.  We've faced many problems together and seen our Lord move so many times!! It was a joy to demonstrate the Air Mobile Rescuer to him.  He fully grasped the UV / Ozone / Photo-Oxidation "miracle".

Of course, Kevin was close by learning the system.  During this time of "Hanging around the Village", have been able to bring our inventory of "Refreshed" Rescuers up to 10, a very good level.

We are now celebrating 11 years of clean water in the "Village".  The Air Mobile Rescuers just run and run delivering life and health.  I'm so THANKFUL for this "miracle" machine!

We'll be monitoring the "road conditions" today to see where and how intense these latest rounds of "Manifestations" are.  We pray for peace in Haiti.  Violence and destruction will NOT help the Haitians to achieve their goals!

As always, THANK YOU for standing together with us with your faithful and precious and vital prayer, love and support!!

WHERE DID THAT HOUR GO????

In Haiti, there are no reminders to "Spring Forward".  I awoke and the sun was not yet risen and I looked at the little "clock" on my computer.  My first thought..."where did that hour go"?   Oh well, I'll, just like many of you, "adjust".

One hour is pretty easy to "absorb".  Now, when you travel to, say, the Philippines...that 12 hour time difference will really "mess you up".

I had asked you to pray for peace and calm in Haiti yesterday.  THANK YOU!  We were up very early and drove to "Love-A-Child" which is located near the Dominican Border.

There, we met with Sherry Burnett.  Barbara had prepared a special "Poster" to express her deep appreciation for all the food that Bobby and Sherry have donated to literally tens of thousands each month.

Then, Love-A-Child loaded our mission truck with 72 boxes of Manna-Pak food.  Now, let me tell you what that translates to in meals - 15,552 meals!!!

Note:  We were not alone!  They loaded about 20 other mission organizations with similar loads.

BTW, I have known Bobby and Sherry Burnett for 37 years.  Only our Lord knows how many lives they have saved.  They are faithful and demonstrate the love of God with their lives.  THANK YOU, Bobby and Sherry!

After receiving that great load of food, we then made the journey home.  We were a big target for "highway robbery" but...we made it home, safe and sound.  Now, Barb can provide a lot of nourishing meals to the hungry in our area.

Today, I'll be in the Air Mobile Rescuer "Refurbishing" Depot bringing a couple of Rescuers back to life.  Out of the 337 units that we have in operation here in Haiti, only a few need special attention.  I love doing this!!  Keeping clean water flowing saves lives!

So, now that we've "lost that hour", it's time to get to work.  As always, THANK YOU for your faithful and vital prayer, love and support!!
