THE LONG JOURNEY HOME....

Last night, Cindy and Katie bid farewell to Aldrich, James and their family.  Yes, parting is such sweet sorrow!

Now, is the long journey home!  They will traverse from half way around the world.  We pray that they have a pleasant and restful journey.

As you may know, Cindy sprained her ankle just before departing on this epic journey.

She is in quite a bit of pain and I ask you to pray particularly that our Lord will touch her for this long journey home.

Ariana and I are certainly ready to have her home.  We've managed in her absence, but....we've really missed her and so glad she's winging this way!

Looking back on their Mission to India and the Philippines, they have accomplished a lot!

Setting up a feeding program for 1000 hungry children every day and helping lead folks to the saving, liberating love of God!  Wow, we're so proud of Cindy and Katie!!

We're planning to take a little time for some good rest and relaxation when Cindy comes home.  Can hardly wait!!

As always, THANK YOU for your precious love, prayer and support!!

CINDY & KATIE FROM THE PHILIPPINES....MISSION BEING ACCOMPLISHED!!

Cindy writes:   "After a long day of ministry, preaching, feasting, buko halo halo, reuniting with dear friends (Cherish Gay Bucong) and enjoying great fellowship, the tribe made us honorary princesses!"

We're EXTREMELY THANKFUL for our Lord's protection, guidance and anointing!  Cindy and Katie have been busy sharing the Love of God.

The Filipino community has embraced them and shown such love.

They made Cindy and Katie "Honorary Princessess" to their tribe.  PRAISE GOD, WE ARE ONE FAMILY IN CHRIST JESUS!

Soon, my precious darling will be aiming back toward home and we can hardly wait.  Please continue to pray for protection and guidance for Cindy and Katie!

Meanwhile, back here in Florida, I had one last assignment regarding the Haiti Delegation.

Yves Cesar is a top Engineer from Haiti and my job was to help him get closer (but not too close) to some of our Florida alligators.  We accomplished that mission!

We went to the Lone Cabbage Fish Camp and boarded a Florida Airboat and went in search of some of these extraordinary creatures.

We came across one that "eased into the water" and shot toward us like a torpedo.  So glad to have been in that airboat!!!

Today, "Mr. Mom" (me) will be tending to chores, shopping and keeping Ariana (and Andy) on coarse and happy.  The Lord is good!!

PLEASE remember to PRAY for Cindy as she and Katie complete the "Mission" to the Philippines.  We're so THANKFUL for all that they've been able to accomplish in Christ Jesus!

As always, THANK YOU for your precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

CINDY & KATIE PREACHING THE GOOD NEWS!!!  PRAY FOR THEIR SAFETY!!!!

We've been PRAYING for Cindy and Katie as they've traveled half way around the world to bring the EXTREMELY GOOD NEWS OF JESUS!!  GO CINDY & KATIE!!

It was a JOYOUS occasion for them to finally meet up with Aldrich and James, the great Filipino musicians for Jesus!!

The Church received them with such gladness and sweetness.

Cindy and Katie will be there for several days helping to establish "Celebrate Recovery", an awesome drug (all addictions) treatment program.

I can't even begin to tell you how much Cindy and I love the Filipino people!  I long to be there with them, but I know that  Cindy & Katie are doing a great job  of delivering the GOOD NEWS!

Now, I ask you to PRAY for their safety.  They are located in an area of the Philippines that has a lot of Radical Islamic activity.

Recently, a German man was beheaded by the Terrorists.  Here is the story - GERMAN CITIZEN BEHEADED IN SOUTHERN PHILIPPINES

Meanwhile, back here in Florida, we wrapped our final day of hosting the Haiti Delegation who are in "search" for a great Search &
Rescue (SAR) system.

We hope and pray that we'll be able to help them "find" just that.

It's time for me to get Ariana to school.  This is "Teacher Apprciateion Week" and my job was to make a big pot of "Black Bean Soup".  It's fun being "Mr. Mom"....until my Cindy returns safe and sound!

As always, THANK YOU for you precious love, prayer and support!!

IN SEARCH OF...SEARCH & RESCUE & CINDY & KATIE LAND IN THE PHILIPPINES!

I'm reminded of Matthew 7:7 where our Lord tells us to "Seek & you shall find"!

Yesterday, we hosted a delegation from Haiti that included the Director General (DG) and Director of Search & Rescue (SAR) at the Harris Headquarters in Melbourne, FL.

What a wonderful day.  First of all, Harris is an amazing company with "Leading Edge" solutions to "Critical Communications".  I'm honored to be the Agent for Harris to Haiti.

DG Lemerque was pleased to see the flag of Haiti represented at the Harris Technology Expo.

The "Mission" to establish a First Class Search & Rescue (SAR) operation in Haiti is a noble one.  Lives are truly at stake here and we want to get this done well and soon!!

At the end of Day 1, we had a delicious lunch at "Grills", one of my favorite seafood restaurants in Melbourne.

We were joined by Rob Bracewell and Dwight Delap of Harris.  We're very encouraged that we're moving closer to bringing SAR to reality in Haiti.

Please pray that we continue on the course of making this happen!

Today will be Day 2 of the SEARCH!

PRAISE GOD!  Cindy and Katie made it safe and sound to the Philippines!

She met Aldrich and James and Charla and family.  They'll be setting up the "Celebrate Recovery" Drug Treatment Program.  This is another NOBLE MISSION to seek and save that which is lost!!

It's time to head out into Day 2 of seeking "Search & Rescue".  As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!!

DID GARFIELD "REALLY" SEND NERMAL TO ABU DHABI??

You may recall from past episodes that "Garfield" often threatened to send "Nermal" to Abu Dhabi.

Well, Cindy, while enroute to the Philippines just happened to pass thru Abu Dhabi.

She took it on herself to see if anyone had seen the cute little cat.   We'll see if she found anything.

She and Katie are now back on board and aiming for Manila before linking up with Adrich and James.

They'll be setting up "Celebrate Recovery", a dynamic Drug Treatment program that produces amazing results.  "He whom the Son sets FREE is FREE indeed"!!

I know my Cindy, and it was difficult for her to say goodbye to Sam and his precious family.  But we know we'll see them all again in India..

Now, they have the "Tools" to continue the "Feeding Program" that has been established.

We're continuing to PRAY for favor with the Indian Customs & Port Officials regarding those 2 - 40' Containers.  We're believing God to see them SET FREE to bring 500,000 nourishing meals to the hungry children.

Late yesterday evening, after our services at UBC (New Names have been written down in Glory....Glory be to God!!), I picked up 4 VIP's from Haiti.

We'll be in meetings all this week with the Harris Corporation.  We're assisting Haiti in setting up a First Class Search and Rescue (SAR) Operation.  We're also working on critical upgrades for both Port-au-Prince and Cap Haitian Airports.  Please PRAY that all goes well!!

Time to head out to those meetings with the Haitian / Harris Officials.  We're believing God for GREAT FAVOR!!

As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

A RESCUER COMES HOME & DAVE & HIS T-BONE

Our good friends Rich and Deb had an Air Mobile Rescuer.  It was ready for action should any disaster occur in their area of Michigan.

Well, one day they decided that it was time to donate it back to Air Mobile for immediate deployment.

Yesterday, we met at the airport and they presented this wonderful gift to Air Mobile.  THANK YOU, Rich and Deb!!

Our great friend and "Water Mule", Dave Walen flew his grand old "T-Bone" (Beechcraft Twin Bonanza) into town the other day.  Dave was here with his wise counsel in an important Air Mobile Meeting.

When he taxied up, we noted a small fuel leak.  Well, Dave is not only a great pilot, but he's likewise, a great mechanic.  Soon, he found the source of the leak and had it all repaired yesterday.

BTW, the T-Bone has flown a number of Air Mobile Missions bringing in food and water and medical supplies.

While we were at the airport, Ariana was getting her hair all done up.  It was an 8 hour process....but well worth every minute.

At the end of the long day at the hair salon, Ari emerged with beautiful braided hair.

Meanwhile, half way around the world, my Cindy and Team were preparing thousands of meals for hungry children.

They've been setting up and training on how to take rice and make it very powerful with added nutrients, vitamins and minerals that literally "reverses malnutrition"!

The Team is wrapping up the mission in Ongole India.  Bob and Mairi of Deliver the Difference will be flying back to the U.S.

Cindy and Katie will be going on to the Philippines to set up  "Celebrate Recovery", a very effective Drug Treatment Program.

Their journey begins today.  PLEASE PRAY that they have safe and uneventful and restful flights.

I'm so proud of my Cindy as she and the Team brings the love of God around the world.  Praise God!!

We truly appreciate your precious prayer, love and support!!!

ARI BEFORE & AFTER & FEEDING SUCCESS!!

Oh, what a joy to have braces OFF!!  Truly a HAPPY DAY for anyone that has been "braced".  Such was the case with our Ariana.  Here she is BEFORE.

Now, Dr. Ruppert is a "Legend" in our area.  He's a master Orthodontist.  He has been Ari's Doctor from the beginning.

I'm going to brag a little bit about our Ariana.  She has done so well with her braces, Dr. Ruppert was able to complete the process 6 MONTHS EARLY!

Yesterday, Ari had those braces removed and now has an absolutely beautiful smile!  THANK YOU Dr. Ruppert and Ari for working so well together.

Early this morning, I got a call from Cindy.  The Rescuers were "flickering".  What could be the problem?

We went through various trouble-shooting and Bob, went from 12 Volts to plugging the unit into the wall.  VOILA it worked!!  I love it when problems are solved like that!

In addition, the Team set up a "Food Party", where the wonderful ingredients were put together and packaged in India!

This is a major step toward a sustainable program to get those 1000 kids per day, a hot, nourishing meal!

There is also encouraging news, regarding those 2 - 40' containers with 500,000 meals.

The dialogue is going positively, but there's still a few more steps and we're believing for our Lord to SET THE CONTAINERS FREE!!  Please continue to pray with us for this to happen!!

For the last few days, I've had Dave Walen with me.  Dave is long-time friend to Air Mobile and he has a beautiful grand old T-Bone (Beechcraft Twin Bonanza).

He's joined us on many missions over the years.  We've had a wonderful time of prayer and fellowship.  PRAISE GOD for good friends!!

We'll be doing a little work on his plane today and getting ready for...."The Next Mission".

So, as I say every day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

FEEDING THE HUNGRY....

What a blessing to receive this shot of Cindy and company feeding hungry children.  After all is said and done, this is what we came to do.  What a beautiful way to DEMONSTRATE the love of God!!

If we want to get closer to Jesus ( a good place to be), then go to where the need is greatest. Click here to see.... LOVE "IN ACTION"

Now, I say this because of what our Lord Jesus said..."I was hungry and you gave me to eat...when you've done it unto the least of these (those with the greatest need), you've done it unto ME!"

There is a 10 hour 30 minute time difference between Titusville and Ongole, India.  So...we communicate in the middle of the night.

I'm just thankful to be able to talk and face time.  We were "trouble shooting" a couple of Air Mobile Rescuers that we placed in Ongole on our last mission there.  Thank God for technology.

Today is a big day for Ariana.  She gets her braces off!!  That's a big day for anyone!!

Time to head out to the Orthodontist for Ariana's big day.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

CINDY & TEAM ON THE GROUND IN ONGOLE, INDIA

We're so THANKFUL for the safe journey all the way from Orlando to Ongole, India.

Cindy, Katie, Bob and Mairi were greeted with hugs, love and flowers.

The mission that lies ahead is daunting, but with God's help and grace, a thousand children a day will receive a nourishing meal and clean water!!

They have already begun meetings with the Indian Customs officials on 2 containers of food that have been "snagged" for over a year.

Should we blessed to get that food (500,000 meals!), our feeding program will be accelerated and well on track.

Bob and Mairi are experts on getting food to hungry people.  The team has all of the ingredients to begin the feeding program without those containers, but....it would be GREAT to get them.  PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR FAVOR!!

Meanwhile, back in Florida, I've had the privilege to be "Mr. Mom".  Taking care of Ariana and Andy (our cute puppy) is a pleasure!  However, I have a new appreciation for the awesome job that Cindy has done.

Wow, taking care of homework and Teacher Appreciation Week and and and....This is a big job.  Fortunately, Ari knows her routine quite well and helps me a LOT!

BTW, bringing the Word of God along with me throughout the day truly helps the day to go better.

It helps me resist that temptation of just listening to the News and a lot of silly talk.  Faith comes by hearing, and hearing  by the Word of God!

So, it's time to get Ari to school and little Andy to the Vet and shopping and paying for school photos and getting the Little Donkey ready for the next mission, etc. etc.

God is GOOD and I'm so THANKFUL for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

GETTING CLOSER TO JESUS

I'm THANKFUL for the tools that we have to hear the Word of God.

A set of simple earbuds and a smart phone and a good Bible App is an amazing combination to help us to get the Word into our hearts throughout the day.

My son, Christian, introduced me to YouVersion sometime ago and  I'm very thankful that he did.  One can listen to the Bible in different translations and it's easy to maneuver around the Word.

No, YouVersion DID NOT pay me to say this.  It's just a great tool and I'm sharing it with you.

Truly, Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.  Any tool that helps one to do that is a GOOD tool!!

Do you find that just going through the day, you're "bombarded" by distractions?  I certainly am, and must work on it to keep the Word of God flowing through my heart.

I'll confess, I'm a "News Junkie" and have XM radio in my car.  It's a strong temptation to just listen to the news all the time.  That's where I put in the earbuds and ahhhh...let the Word of God into my heart.  And....the day goes better.

So, the bottom line of my "Rambling Blog" this morning is "Getting closer to Jesus" and that comes by hearing the Word of God.  Whatever tools you may have to do this, I urge you to pick them up and apply them to your heart.  We all need more of His Word!

I heard from my Cindy last night.  She and the Team all landed in Hyderabad, India.  Had a nice rest and then hit the road for Ongole.  They should be arriving as I type.

They'll be hitting the ground running having meeting with the Customs Officials to see how we can "free" those 2 containers of food.

This is the beginning of setting up a sustainable feeding program for hungry children.  There is much at stake here!  PLEASE PRAY for GOD'S FAVOR to be upon them!!

Jesus tells us that...."When you've done it unto the least of these...you've done it unto Me"!  What a nice way to get closer to Jesus!!

Time to get Ariana to school and get a set of replacement magneto's for the Little Donkey.  I'll work on "Hearing the Word of God" throughout this day.

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!!

LIFT OFF!

Cindy, Katie, Bob and Mairi took off from Orlando International yesterday bound for India.

Their mission:  Deliver food and water to the hungry and thirsty.  14 hours later, they landed in Dubai, safe and sound.

Their next leg will take them to Hyderabad, India where they'll meet Sam and his Dad.

From Hyderabad, it will be an 8-10 road trip to Ongole, Southern India.

This has been a long journey to get to where we are.  It began with my Cindy seeing a short clip on Facebook of a village destroyed by a flood 18 months ago.  This will be our second time going to India.

This time, with the help of Bob and Mairi of Deliver the Difference, a permanent feeding program will be established to feed those hungry children.  With your help and love and generosity, and above all, with the Grace and Power of our Lord Jesus, this is all possible.

Cindy will also be servicing the 3 Air Mobile Rescuers that we delivered to Sam on our last mission.  Again, with our Lord's help, we're bringing food and water to the desperate and needy.

As you may know, we've been attempting to get 2 containers of food out of Customs in India.  This food was originally destined for Nepal but got "Stuck" in India.

There is news that we may be able to get that food out and incorporate it into our feeding program.  There have been recent developments that may help us to get that food RELEASED!  PLEASE PRAY that our Lord gives our team FAVOR with the officials!

It was a relief to get that text from Cindy, in the early hours of the morning, that the team arrived safely in Dubai.

They're now in the air for Hyderabad as I type.  Again, we pray for a safe journey and favor with Customs when they arrive in India.

And...received a call yesterday from the shipping company that our 2 containers bound for Haiti are about to be loaded aboard the ship.

Again, PLEASE join together with us that our Lord will give us great favor and wisdom to get these containers through Customs!

THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

A LONG LEG!

In just a few hours, Cindy, Katie, Bob and Mairi will board a jet in Orlando and fly all the way to Dubai, their first leg (14 hours!).  Now, that is a long leg (7,733 miles)!

Then, it'll another 4 hour flight to India.  Please pray with us that all goes well!!

This return mission to India has been a long time in planning and prayer.  We're so glad to be able to bring hungry and thirsty children food and water!!

Yesterday, our home church Prayed for Cindy as she prepared to leave.  We're so THANKFUL to Redeemer and Pastor Gary for their love and support.

After Church, our UBC Chaplain Team headed to Orlando to conduct 3 services for those who are in the hospital.

We then picked up Katie (dressed in red), who flew in from Columbus, OH.  Katie will be with the team in India and the Philippines.  We shared a delicious send-off & BIRTHDAY meal (it was Cindy's birthday).

This morning, I'll be getting the team to the Orlando airport where they'll board that long-range jet and fly non-stop all the way to Dubai.

OK, I'll certainly miss my Cindy!  But we have a lot of work to do, over in this part of the world also, specifically in Haiti as those 2 containers, filled with critical medical supplies work their way toward the dock in St. Marc.

Cindy and I have a few quiet moments this morning to enjoy a cup of coffee together before she heads out on this epic mission.

As I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CINDY!!

Our Lord has truly give me a Proverbs 31 woman!  I am blessed to have this precious Lady of God in my life.  THANK YOU, JESUS!

18 months ago, Cindy discovered a village in Southern India that broke her heart....because it broke Jesus' heart.  Remember His Words...."I was hungry / thirsty and you gave Me to eat and drink.."

In addition to desperately needing clean water, they needed food.  Children were dying from hunger every day.  We had to do something.

We flew to India and met Sam and his family.  Now, she's heading back with food for the hungry.  PRAISE GOD!

Tomorrow, she's leading a team to set up a feeding program in Ongole, India and then going to the Philippines to set up a drug treatment program.  GO CINDY!!

Yesterday evening, I gave Cindy some additional training on a "quick change out" of the UV Module for the Air Mobile Rescuers in place in Ongole.

While Cindy is in India / Philippines, Ariana and I will be "holding down the fort" here in Florida.  I'll likely have to make a quick trip to Haiti when the containers arrive.

We're getting ready for church and then our ministry at the hospital in Orlando.  Again, I'm so THANKFUL that our Lord brought Cindy into my life!

And, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

THE NAME OF THE LORD IS A STRONG TOWER!!

This morning, I read Proverbs 18 and verse 10 sure stood out to me.  Praise God for His Word and Promises!  "The Name of the Lord is a strong tower..."

As you likely know, I often read the "Proverb of the Day"...today being the 18th, I read Proverbs 18.  This is a good way to stay on track and get that daily dosage of wisdom from our Lord.

Here is Proverbs 18, if you'd like to read it - PROVERBS 18 NKJV

We've been following the devastating storms in California.  They're having the worst storm in years and....the Oroville Dam is in danger of failing.

Should that happen, THOUSANDS would be trapped.  We PRAY that the Dam holds!  Here's more - IF DAM FAILS - THOUSANDS STUCK

Meanwhile, we're putting the final touches on the India / Philippines Mission.  Cindy and Team will be departing on Monday.

We're very excited about starting the feeding program in Southern India.  Our goal is to provide a nourishing meal to 1000 children every day.

Hunger is a major problem in this area.  Thousands of children die every day from hunger.

Cindy will also be bringing in supplies to keep that clean water flowing in an area that had been devastated by floods.  Several years ago, we placed Air Mobile Rescuers in this area.

Yes, the Name of the Lord is a STRONG TOWER & we run to it!!  THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!

DON'T FORGET TO "ASK & KNOCK"

Yesterday, I shared how it's so important to "SEEK" first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.  And, in Matthew 7:7, our Lord Jesus tells us to also ASK & KNOCK.  In other words, ASK } SEEK} KNOCK (A.S.K.)

These POWERFUL VERBS (A.S.K.) move us closer to our Lord in virtually every situation in our lives.  Folks, I'm preaching to myself here.

Every single one of us face challenges every single day.  Some are small and some are huge and there are lots in between.

I need to remind myself that our Lord Jesus is ever with us and will never leave us or forsake us.  All we have to do is remember that and....A.S.K.  I hope this reminder helps you today.

Meanwhile, Cindy and Team are diligently preparing for the India / Philippines mission.  They're departing in 3 days.

We're also awaiting the 2 containers to be shipped to Haiti.  Today, we'll be holding tightly onto the hand of Jesus and checking items off of our "To Do List".

As always, THANK YOU for your greatly appreciated prayer, love and support!!

SEEK FIRST....

The Word of our Lord Jesus offers comfort and hope in the midst of a "Crazy World".  THANK YOU, Jesus!

I was up early this morning and as the coffee was brewing, I listened to the 6th Chapter of Matthew on "You Version".  When verse 33 came, I smiled and a wonderful peace came over my heart.

Life is often complicated and filled with "unlimited" variables.  Which way should we go, what should we do?

Stop, pause and breathe His Name and SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM.  That's when those precious Words of our Lord comes and bring His peace..."All these things shall be added unto you".

He knows what we need before we ask.  Our Lord wants us to put our trust in Him and seek Him in all that we do.

In the swirl of life, it's easy to forget this. We get out on our own and find ourselves sinking beneath the waves like Peter when he stepped out of the boat.  That's the time to call upon His Name.

Yesterday, I received a text message that someone very dear to me was in deep distress and needed help immediately.  I was driving on an errand.  Suddenly, it all changed and I went straight to this person.

For the next few hours, our Lord poured out His love on this precious one who was sinking beneath the waves.  All I can say is "God is good all the time!"

What unspeakable joy to be used by our Lord.  May we be sensitive to His voice and go where He wants us to go and do what He wants us to do.  Yes, may we SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

So, on this busy day with all of the things before us, as my Cindy is packing and planning and praying,  in preparation of the India / Philippines mission, we go forth in His Name.

We're so appreciative to have you on-board with us with your precious prayer, love and support.  God bless you and THANK YOU AGAIN!!

 PLANNING & PACKING.

Cindy has been busy planning and packing for the India / Philippines Mission.  We're so excited about setting up this feeding program in India.

With our Lord's help, we'll be providing 1000 nourishing meals per day to starving children in Southern India.  We've already placed Air Mobile Rescuers there providing clean water.

We're working with some good folks, Bob and Mairi Bostic of Deliver the Difference.  They really know what they're doing when it comes to feeding the hungry.

After India, Cindy and Katie will be going to the Philippines to work with Aldrich and James to set up a Drug Treatment Program, Celebrate Recovery

Meanwhile, our 2 containers bound for Haiti are awaiting shipment.  I need to be ready to go to Haiti to help process them when they arrive.  That's the main reason that Cindy is making the India / Philippines mission without me.

Cindy is a TROOPER and will do a great job on this mission.  But....we need your prayers for her and her team as they go!

So, today, we pack and prepare and plan and PRAY!  We're so THANKFUL to have you on-board with us.  As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

So...today, around the world, this day is celebrated...Valentine's Day.

Of course, there's a real story behind all the flowers and candy and romance.  Here it is:  THE REAL STORY BEHIND ST. VALENTINE'S DAY

It is not surprising that the subject of "MARRIAGE" was a major issue all those years ago.  Today, it still is an issue of great controversy.

Well, Valentine laid his life down for his convictions about the Word of God.  Are we willing to do the same?

I'm reminded of one of my "all time" favorite Scriptures.  It's found in Revelation 12:11...

"They overcame him (satan), by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony and....they loved not their lives unto death."  That is exactly what St. Valentine did!

Again, I am also reminded of the great freedom that we have here in America.  There are many nations around the world that strictly forbid Christianity.

Let us remember to PRAY for those whose lives are at risk everyday for their faith in Jesus.

So, on this Valentine's Day, I trust you gave your loved ones cards expressing your love for them and maybe even gave some sweet chocolate but....remember the "Real Story" of one's great faith and love and willingness to lay his life down.  St. Valentine's TESTIMONY lives on today!

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

THANK GOD FOR FREEDOM!!

I've said this before, but it bears repeating.  I'm THANKFUL for the freedom that we have to worship God and tell others about the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This privilege is NOT enjoyed by billions around the world.  Let us never take this for granted!!

Cindy and I and Ariana went to church yesterday morning.  BTW, our Church, Redeemer, has been renting and just bought it's first building.  We'll be moving in a couple of weeks.

Then, it was off to the Hospital in Orlando.  There, the administration has allowed us for the last 20 years to come in and share the Good News of Jesus.  We conduct 4 separate services every single Sunday.  PRAISE GOD for the FREEDOM to share our faith!

This week will be extremely busy helping Cindy put the final details together for the India / Philippines Mission.  She and her Team will be putting together a feeding program together for 1000 children per day in India.  The harsh reality that 3000 children die per day in India has driven us to do this.

Then she and our friend, Katie will be flying to the Philippines to set up "Celebrate Recovery" in Mindanao.  This program helps those trapped by drugs to find FREEDOM!  Again, we're THANKFUL to our Lord for enabling us to do this!

Cindy and Katie will be teaming up with Aldrich & James, the young men who sing like angels and love our Lord Jesus with all of their hearts.

Time to head out the door to buy Cindy another suitcase for the mission.  As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!  Love y0u!!!

SMOOTH SAILING....STRONG HEADWINDS

Life can sometimes be that way....you're moving along, but not as quickly as you'd like.  We had a lovely flight back from Haiti yesterday.

Had beautiful clear skies....but, bucked headwinds all along the way.

Randy and I arrived at the airport early yesterday morning and prepared the Little Donkey for the journey home.

Took off right on time and the ride was smooth as silk.  And yes, with those headwinds, just meant that we had a bit longer to enjoy the journey.  Randy had a nice nap along the way.

In reflection on this last mission to Haiti, we were able to accomplish our goals and have a few pleasant bonuses along the way.

Met some very nice folks who are doing wonderful work in Haiti.  We gained a lot of good information about how to "receive" containers in Haiti.

We were able to deliver vital medication to treat thousands.  We were able to share the love of God.

We met with some of my old and dear friends.  It was just pleasant to sit down and remember stories that so clearly demonstrated the love, grace and power of God.

Now, back in the U.S. we're getting ready for church this morning and then on to the hospital in Orlando.  We love this ministry of "visiting those who are sick" and telling the Good News of Jesus.  Praise God, it's good to be home!

Cindy and team will be leaving for India / Philippines in just 8 days.  We've got a lot of work to do for this epic mission.

If you'd like to help, here's a good link telling more - 2 GIRLS - EPIC MISSION FOR GOD!

We're VERY THANKFUL for your faithful prayer, love and support.  Be blessed!!

IT'S A WRAP

Our Mission to Haiti has been good!  We've gathered a tremendous amount of information and counsel about the procedure of bringing containers into Haiti.

And...the fellowship along the way has been wonderful!  That's the beauty of the Body of Christ.

Now, we simply await the containers to be hoisted onto the ship and make the journey to Haiti.  We plan to return shortly after the ship arrives.

We've also been able to work with officials on setting up a viable Search & Rescue (SAR) for Haiti, as well as making vital improvements to the Air Traffic Control System here in Haiti.

There is NO QUESTION that this will save lives.  Please join together with us in PRAYER that the government officials will have wisdom on these critical matters.

I can't begin to tell you what a blessing it is to work together with these folks.

We've also been able to distribute vital medications and pave the way with these organizations when the containers arrive.  Yes, this has been a successful mission.

Meanwhile, my Cindy has been diligently preparing for the India / Philippines Mission.  She's doing a great job of putting the many pieces together for this epic mission.

We just have a few more details to attend to here in Haiti and then....fly the Little Donkey back to Florida.

We're THANKFUL that things have been relatively quiet here in Haiti during this political transition.  We PRAY it stays that way.

So, as I say everyday, and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

IN THE MULTITUDE OF COUNSEL....

Randy and I hit the road yesterday for St. Marc.  Along the way, we were able to share some of the good medications (powerful antibiotics) with other missions.

At the same time, we were able to "glean" information about the best procedures to follow to get containers through the "maze" of customs.  We had a good day.

We began by driving an hour north to "Feed My Sheep Mission" operated by Rich and Bev.

They have had success in bringing in containers.  They are a great source of information and wisdom.

We were also able to share the List of Medications that are in the containers.  They are operating 2 medical clinics and were very glad to see the list and mark the items they could use.  Praise God!

We then drove up to St. Marc.  Youth With A Mission (YWAM) has a base there operated by Terry Snow.  Several years ago, Air Mobile donated 2 Rescuers to YWAM during the height of the cholera outbreak.  It was a joy to find out that both units are still in operation.

We were also able to share some of the medications that we brought in the Little Donkey.  Cholera is still a huge threat in Haiti and these meds help treat the victims.

We then located the office where all of the paper work will begin.  The Director was in Port-au-Prince but we were able to reach him by phone.  He told us the procedure to follow.

He sounds like a nice guy who will be very helpful.  BTW, there is a beautiful Cathedral in St. Marc.

On the way back to Barb's Village, we met with Betty Snyder.  Oh Folks, we go WAY back.  Have known her for nearly 40 years.  We were joined by her son, Philip.

We had the best time, sitting on the porch and remembering the times that our Lord has so graciously "bailed us out"!

We just laughed and laughed as we recalled story after story.  I'm reminded of Revelation 12:11....by the word of their Testimony!

God is Good...ALL THE TIME!!

He's certainly an "ever present help in time of need".

So, today, Randy and I will be bringing a couple Air Mobile Rescuers back to life.

It's been such a blessing having Randy with me.  He's a trooper!!  As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

HAITI QUIET....

Spent yesterday in meetings with Government officials regarding Search & Rescue (SAR) and upgrading airport operations.  The meetings went well.

Since the U.S. election, there appears to be an attitude of wanting to work more closely with America.  This is encouraging.

As I drove the streets of Port-au-Prince, it was encouraging that things appear to be quiet and rather peaceful.

There had been a lot of talk about disruptions and protests regarding the Inauguration of President Moise but...things have been rather calm thus far.  We PRAY it stays that way!

Haiti needs to simply rebuild and help it's people who are in such need.  Let us PRAY for the new government and that President Moise will have great wisdom and compassion as he leads this nation!!  BTW, Moise is "Moses" in French.

Today, Randy and I will be heading up to St. Marc to meet with some missionaries who have shipped in containers by ocean freight.

We'll be gathering more information about how to process this and get the much needed supplies into Haiti quickly and efficiently.  Oh Lord, please give us wisdom!!

So, as I say every single day and mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

SHARING ONE WITH ANOTHER - PLEASE PRAY FOR SHERRY

Early yesterday morning, Barb, Randy and I headed to "LOVE-A-CHILD".  Our mission:  Receive 2 pallets of Manna Pack "Super Food" and discuss our incoming "Containers" with Bobby and Sherry.

We were met by Julie, Bobby and Sherry's daughter who informed us that Sherry had an accident and her back has been critically injured.

We prayed and we ask you to join with us for complete and miraculous healing!!  Sherry is in the states receiving treatment and Bobby is with her.  We're receiving reports that miracles have already begun!  PRAISE GOD!

Randy was able to share some of the critical antibiotics that we brought in the Little Donkey with Julie (who is also a nurse).  It's good to be able to share some of our gifts with Bobby and Sherry who are so generous with others.

We then positioned on the loading dock to receive our 2 pallets of Manna Packs.  It's amazing to watch this operation.

The dock is filled with missionary vehicles from all over Haiti.  Bobby and Sherry share so much with others!

Randy jumped right in and helped load the precious cargo into Barb's vehicles.  Barb supervised!

We then drove back to Barb's "Village".  Even though yesterday was a National Holiday in Haiti (Inauguration Day) the roads were clear and calm.  Again, PRAISE GOD!

Randy was able to deliver more meds to a neighboring mission (Mission of Hope).  They truly appreciated the meds as they're very helpful in treating cholera.

I received a request to help with a faltering printer at another neighboring mission, Global Mission.

Randy joined me and we were able to, somewhat, diagnose the problem and...were able to also bless Global with some precious antibiotics.  Sheryl, the Mission Nurse, received the gift with joy.

Overall, it was a very good day.  It's such a blessing to see the "Body of Christ" sharing and loving one another.

Together, we can reach out to the hungry, the thirsty, the sick and orphans.  This brings a smile to the face our Lord Jesus!!

So, here we are ready to head out into this day that our Lord has made.  What adventure lies before us?  He knows and we're holding tightly to His hand!

As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support.  So glad you're with us!!

A SMOOTH RIDE TO PAVE THE WAY

The doors on the 2 containers destined for Haiti are closed.  The next stop for them will be St. Marc Haiti.  Randy and I wanted to go "ahead" of the shipment and begin paving the way for a "smooth passage" upon arrival.

In order to do that...we had to get in the Little Donkey yesterday morning and fly to Haiti.  We had critical medications and great supplies on-board for Barb in the Village and for the Hurricane Victims.

Our departure was delayed due to a thick ground fog. Ordinarily,  I like to depart for Haiti long before the sun rises.  Not yesterday.  We had to wait for the sun to burn off that "Zero-Zero" visibility fog.

After the "late" start,  we climbed to 15,500' and cruised along for about 5 hours to Haiti.  After unloading the Little Donkey, we tied the faithful little airplane down.  BTW, we're so THANKFUL for this wonderful tool!

I'm up early this morning at the "Haiti Desk", which is always well stocked with coffee, a vital part to this operation.

This morning, we'll be visiting with Bobby and Sherry Burnett of "Love-A-Child".  We sure love these folks.  Have known them for 38 years.

They're also quite knowledgeable about how to get containers into Haiti.  We'll be tapping into their  "know how".

Today is a National Holiday in Haiti, Inauguration Day.  The new president, Jovenel Moise will be sworn in today. Some are happy....

Some are not happy.  It's going to be an interesting day for sure.  We'll navigate carefully and prayerfully.

We have a lot of work to do and best get on with this day that our Lord has made.  As always, THANK YOU for your precious and invaluable prayer, love and support!!

NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT....WHAT A SUPERBOWL!

My Cindy is from Millbury, MA.  Yes, she loves the Patriots and so do I.  But....by the 4th quarter, I had given up any hope of them winning.

The best I could hope for was that they'd put up a few points and avoid total embarrassment.  Was I wrong!!

We watched History in the making.  NEVER GIVE UP. Just keep on playing and stay focused!  The Patriots won that game 34-28 in Overtime (first time in Super Bowl history!).

I don't know about you, but there are certainly times in my life I feel like the Patriots beginning the 4th quarter.  There is a big lesson to be learned here.  Just keep your eyes on Jesus and keep on marching ahead.

We're believing God for extraordinary favor with the Haitian Officials as our 2 containers hit the port.  With God, all things are possible!!

Trust you have a blessed day and remember....there's always hope!!

THANK YOU again for your precious prayer, love and support!!

LOAD BOX - UNLOAD BOX - LOAD BOX - UNLOAD BOX - LOAD CONTAINER...LOAD MOVING CLOSER TO HAITI

Yesterday, Randy and I began the day in Palm Beach with an absolutely full 26' Box truck loaded with critical medical supplies destined for Haiti.  I mean that truck was FULL!!

Our challenge was to put 26' worth of cargo into a 20' container.

I know that our Lord multiplied the fishes and the loaves...now we were asking our Lord to "shrink" our load into this container that was 6 feet shorter than the box truck that was full full full.

Once we had the 26' box truck empty, we began the process of squeezing it all into the 20' container.

The agent for Monarch Shipping gave us a great crew.  BTW, they usually don't work on the weekend..but they did and they were great!

I'm going to tell you, we squeezed every single bit of room out of that 20' container and by the end, we had managed to put the entire load into it!  I believe that there was some Divine Intervention there!

We had also prayed that we could find another 20' container to put the remaining 9 pallets in.  We found one and it will be loaded on Monday.  Praise God!  We left those pallets under a tarp and secure.

The Lord certainly heard our prayers.  Now, this wonderful load of blessings is moving one more step toward the final goal.  Next step will be putting it all on-board a ship bound for Haiti.

We still have other challenges before us (Haiti Customs).  Our Lord  will be with us for any and all challenges that will lie before us.  It's a good feeling to be establishing another "avenue" to get help to those who so desperately need it!

While Randy and I were loading, unloading, loading, my Cindy was at the Annual Missions Day at the Great Outdoors Church telling others about Air Mobile.  She met so many caring folks who will be joining our Adventure for Jesus

As always, THANK YOU for joining us on this journey for Jesus.  We so appreciate your prayer, love and support!!

NEXT STOP...PORT OF PALM BEACH

I never cease to marvel at how our Lord works in our lives.  Let me give you an example.

Of course, our next step in getting this amazing load of vital supplies down to Haiti is to "truck" it down to West Palm Beach for ocean going cargo.

For that...we needed a truck.  I reached out to our friend, Pastor Lenny.  Not only does Lenny have a super church (that's busting out at the seams), but he runs a trucking company.  He's a "tent maker" like Cindy and I.

Here's how our conversation went.
Joe:  Lenny, we need a truck.
Lenny:  What size.
Joe:  A 26' with a lift gate.
Lenny:  Mmmmm, just so happens I have one on lease until Monday. You can have it over the weekend.  Come and get it.
Joe....Amazing!  THANKS LENNY!

Yes, "Surely, our Lord knows how to deploy His troops....and His trucks".

Early yesterday morning, Randy arrived and we loaded the 9 pallets of incredibly good "stuff" (in our hangar) destined for Haiti.  We drove it down to the Port of Palm Beach and quickly unloaded it.

Then, we hop in the truck and go further south down to Miami to pick another 14 pallets of vital medical supplies.
The truck ran beautifully, but the traffic was horrible.  It usually is on I-95 in Miami.  An accident brought everything to a "big parking lot".

Of course, the shipping line closed while we were in the gridlock.  But....they agreed to come and meet us this morning to help us get the container loaded.

They're usually closed on the weekend.  And....this is Super Bowl Weekend. That's a big sacrifice for them to come in today.  THANKS MONARCH SHIPPING!!

Randy and I found an inexpensive room close to the port. We're up early heading down to the port to "stuff" our container.

Now, here's another PRAYER REQUEST.  We have a whole lot more supplies, than will fit into a 20' container.  There are no 40 footers available at this time (with our shipping company).  We need wisdom from our Lord to help us figure this out.

Just another day with another challenge(s).  Our Lord will help us and we'll just keep "pushing this shipment toward Haiti".

Time for that 2nd cup of coffee and we'll see what our Lord does  in our lives.  As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable and truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!

MOVING DAY....PUSHING THE LOAD FORWARD

This morning, we'll be moving 9 pallets of vital supplies one step closer to Haiti.  Randy, from Sarasota will be joining me today for this great move.

I met Randy recently through a mutual friend, Glen.  When the larger aircraft fell through, Randy and I began developing another route into Haiti, by ship.

As I've shared in previous blogs, this is not an easy process.  It's often filled with obstacles and countless challenges.

However, after further investigation and a lot of prayer and counsel from those who have gone before us, it can be done successfully.....with a little help from our friends.

Another good friend, Bob Bostic of Deliver the Difference, has been extremely blessed getting his food shipments into Haiti.  Bob has given us a number of great tips.

So....today, we'll be picking up our 9 pallets and getting Randy's 14 pallets and we'll be "stuffing" it all into a 20' container down in West Palm Beach.

As a result of a lot of folks' generous giving to Haiti following Hurricane Matthew, we've been overwhelmed with great donations of food / medicine / clothes etc.

Now, we're finding other ways to keep this supply chain moving toward Haiti.  Please continue to pray with us that all arrives safe and secure and efficiently and without "great expense" (bribes...we don't
 play that game!).

Truly, "All things work together for the good...."

It's time to make that second cup of coffee "to go" and load a bunch of pallets  and head south to meet a ship going to Haiti.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

STAY THE COURSE

As we walk through this life, there are many intersections and routes we can take.  This one thing I desire....to "Stay the Course" with Jesus!

You know, we all make many decisions  every day.  And....I don't always consult with my Savior on every one.  When I don't....the results are often not what I want.

So....today, I'll walk ever closer with Him and endeavor to "Stay the Course".

Often, all we need to do is "Breathe His Name" and that helps us to slow down just a bit, and do the next thing ahead of us, with His direction.

Yes, walking with Jesus "Exercises our Faith" and without Faith, it is impossible to please God!

I certainly want to please God...the day goes much better when I do.

Armed with my 2nd cup of coffee and a full day before me, it's time head out the door and "choose wisely".  Help me Jesus!

As always, THANK YOU for your invaluable and truly appreciated prayer, love and support!!

GETTING READY....

I'm very pleased to tell you that Cindy's ankle is healing rapidly.  She's now up to taking Andy (our 8 pound dog) for short walks.

The main thing is she'll be ready for the upcoming "Mission" to India and the Philippines!

Praise God & THANK YOU for your prayers!  Now that she has her Visa and the tickets have been bought, the next pieces to putting together an outreach half way around the world are coming together.

To learn more and follow this "Epic Mission for God" go to:  AIR MOBILE MISSION TO INDIA & PHILIPPINES

And, our container load of food and supplies for Haiti is methodically moving toward Haiti.

Our next goal is to rent a truck with a lift gate and drive our precious cargo down to south Florida.  We're leaning toward Monarch Shipping and the final details should be established today.

Let me ask an unrelated question.  Has your birthday passed and....you failed to renew your Drivers License??

Well, mine just did and I've been driving around with an expired license.  Mmmmm, glad I found out before I got stopped!

So....today, heading to the Department of Motor Vehicles and becoming legal again.

Time to head out into this beautiful day that our Lord has made.  As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!
