...AND THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY...

I am reminded of one of my favorite Scriptures found in Revelation 12:11

As I pour through the volumes of journal (BLOG) entries, I experience again and again the wonder and grace of God!

Folks, there is tremendous power in sharing our Testimony.  That is exactly what I am endeavoring to do  with "Storm Dancer".

PLEASE PRAY that I find the words to capture the miracles and grace of our Lord!

Meanwhile, back at our "Retreat Cabin", the Blog is a little late today because it is time for our 12 baby ducks to come out of their "Brooding" duck house to the big duck house.

Sorry about the late and disjointed Blog.

A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE...

One of the extraordinary advantages to writing a "Daily Blog" (I'm going on 15 years now...& not missed a day) is that I can go back and tell a story of God's Amazing Grace with accuracy and many times, photos to back it up.

The Daily Blog also tells where we are and what we are doing and how you, who read it, can PRAY for us.  This is such a BLESSING.  Believe me, I feel your  PRAYERS!!

Yesterday, while reading through past blogs...so many memories, so many miracles, I can hardly wait to get "Storm Dancer" finished and into your hands.

I'm also considering "Narrating" it.  That should be fun.  I may even Narrate "Run To The Roar".

Oh well, it's time to get ready for Church this morning.  BTW, I'm ever THANKFUL for the incredible FREEDOM we have in America to worship God!  May we never take it for granted!

THANK YOU, as always for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

STIRRING THE POT...

Sprung awake at 3:30 am with "Storm Dancer" on my mind.  There was no going back to sleep.  I've already written a rough draft of 14 Chapters.

So, I began reading at Chapter 1 and just finished reading through to Chapter 14.

Just reading these incredible stories of God's Amazing Grace, stirs my pot of emotions.

Sometimes I cry through the sad valleys, sometimes I laugh on the mountaintop.

It is just such a blessing to write these stories and let the emotions flow.

I'm getting the manuscript ready for Cindy, "The Editor".

We hope to have it published in the next couple of weeks.

THANK YOU for meandering down this road of life with me.

I have started & stopped this book several times but..NOW is the time to finish it!

So, while here at our "Retreat Cabin", in between chores & Air Mobile business, I'll be writing and editing "STORM DANCER".

I hope to have it finished sooner than later!  From time to time, I'll send little snippets from this upcoming Anthology.  Stay tuned.

FOUND A "DEAL"

I had several cash-back coupons with Tractor Supply.  When I found this Champion "Dual Fuel" 9375 Watt Generator (Gas or Propane) on Sale, I made my move and bought it for $600.00!  What "Deal" !

What's better than having 1 Generator?  Having 2!

This certainly is a good time to review your "Readiness"...BEFORE we enter into Hurricane Season!

May I encourage you to take a look at your "Readiness". You may find a "Deal".

I especially scan the BOGO's (BUY ONE GET ONE) at my local store. Then, slip that "Deal" into my emergency supply.

So, overall, I'm just glad to be home and stocking up...for the next disaster.

I also want to THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

CINDY  RIDE

Yesterday, Cindy and I celebrated a quiet Mother's Day at our "Retreat Cabin".  After Church, I grilled a "scrumptious" Filet Mignon.

Then Cindy saddled up our beautiful "rescued" Arabian named "Ti Gato" (Little Cup Cake in Creole because of his golden speckles). She took this sweet horse for a ride.

Here's a little more of my beautiful "Lady of God" on this glorious Mother's Day, riding Ti Gato.

So, today we'll be about our usual chores and as always, getting ready for our "Next Mission".

Going to be a fun get-away to Celebrate this "Mother's Day" weekend.

Well, it's time to hit the road for Pigeon Forge, and a lovely time with my Sweetheart.

Let us remember our Mothers...where would we be without them?

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY... COMING

Recently, my Cindy made a lovely "Prayer Journal".

This wonderful idea came out of an intense "Mission" to Indonesia following the terrible Tsunami, where we prayed for 100 "Miracles" and we actually received over 100.

Now, you can get this great tool to "Capture & Record" Miracles as they occur in your life.

You can order the "Prayer Journal" today from Amazon, and have it for Mother's Day.

MORE ON BEING "PREPARED"...

I came across this very comprehensive "Checklist" specifically aimed at being "PREPARED" for a HURRICANE or some other WEATHER related disaster.

Click here to bring up the "LIST" SUGGESTED HURRICANE SUPPLY LIST

Notice, CLEAN DRINKING WATER is at the top of the List.

Now, would be a good time to consider purchasing an Air Mobile Rescuer Water purifier.  This unit can provide CLEAN DRINKING WATER to an entire community or neighborhood.

The cost of the "Rescuer" is $1,999.00.  If you divide the cost among several of your friends, it would be easier to buy this AMAZING purifier.

So, folks, there is no better time to PREPARE than NOW...BEFORE THAT FIRST HURRICANE HITS!

THANK YOU, as always, for your precious prayer, love and support!!

In just over 3 weeks, Hurricane Season will arrive.  It's forecast to be an ACTIVE Season, very similar to the 2024 Season.

We, at Air Mobile are getting ready for what might lie ahead.  We're building up Air Mobile Rescuers.

One thing is for sure; IF a Hurricane hits, CLEAN DRINKING WATER will be affected.  NOW is a good time to get ready.

REMEMBER HELENE & MILTON!!

Imagine having the ability to take dirty, contaminated water and make it VERY CLEAN!  That's what the Air Mobile Rescuer Water Purifier does.

This time at home is special.  The "Call" will come and I will be ready to "Go"!

I love being home, knowing that the "Mission" is ever with me.  My "batteries" are charging and my heart is dancing.

I awoke this morning with the sense that Jesus was "knocking at my door".  I opened my door (heart), and He came in.

I'm reminded of..."What a Friend we have in Jesus" from yesterday's Blog (Just read on down if you missed it).

It's going to be a good day.  Looking forward to Church and being with my friends, brothers and sisters.  Life is good!

WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS!

Up early this morning, on my second cup of coffee, this thought came to me..."WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS".

I had just seen an interview with "Face Book" founder, Mark Zuckerberg.  The question that he was addressing was  the "loneliness" epidemic.

For many, loneliness is quite real.  While watching his response, I sensed our Lord Jesus standing at the door of my heart and stating so lovingly...

"BEHOLD, I stand at the door and knock, if any man hears my voice, and OPENS the door, I will come in and sup with him and he with me".

There are times when we all feel lonely.  This is the perfect time to OPEN the door of our heart and invite Jesus in.  Loneliness will flee.

Jesus also tells us... "I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU".

Folks, no matter what you are going through, Jesus is there and He wants to come in and have fellowship with us.

And all of this brings me back to that wonderful song..."What a friend we have in Jesus!"

I want you to know just how much I appreciate you.  THANK YOU for meandering down this road of life with me.

So, I thought I'd send you Alan Jackson singing this amazing song.

REMEMBERING....

While here at our beloved "Retreat Cabin", my mind and heart goes back to where I just was...in Myanmar.

The desperate plight of those who have lost everything in the recent, powerful earthquake that struck Myanmar and killed thousands & injured thousands more, weighs heavily upon my heart.

I'm grateful for the help we have been able to give but...so much more needs to be done.

As you may know, we launched this "Mission" largely unfunded.  The truth is, I put this "mission" on my credit card.

PLEASE consider making a donation to help us to replenish our stock of Air Mobile Rescuer Water Purifiers to be "Ready to Go"  when needed.  See the link below.

Meanwhile, here at our little farm, life goes on.
I'm not exactly sure when we fell in love with ducks.  But now, we are there.  They are hilarious and so much fun to watch.

We are incubating a flock of baby ducks now.  It is such an amazing picture of  instincts and nature at work.

To add to the beauty and wonder, we get delicious and healthful eggs.

With the price of eggs today, this is a good time to venture into this  market.

CATCHING UP...

Now that I'm home, there's a bit of catching up to do...beginning with sleep.

That flight home took a full 48 hours from take-off in Yangon, Myanmar to Atlanta, GA and then the 5 hour drive to our sweet "Retreat Cabin".

When I pulled up to our cabin late Saturday night, I was completely exhausted, both physically and emotionally.

So, this rambling, daily blog may be posted a bit later than usual, while I catch a few more "zzzz's".

Oh, then there's my old friend..."Jet Lag". Traveling, as much as I do, I've discovered, "Jet Lag" is a real factor, often requiring some extra sleep.

So, that's the "Catching Up" I have to do.

Oh, I just saw this news flash...Pope Francis just died.  May he rest in peace.

Now, here at our little farm, there are always "Chores" to do. Time to get to work.

2 MORE "RESCUERS" DEPLOYED & ANOTHER "DEVINE APPOINTMENT" ...PRAISE GOD!

After careful consideration and prayer, I decided to donate another "Rescuer" to Dr. Min and Dr. Moe.  They are working on the front lines of this disaster.  I so appreciate their hearts to serve.

We arrived at their clinic on a little yellow trike...a very efficient way to get around Mandalay.

Upon arrival, we went right into the training on the amazing "Rescuer".

Now, with 2 doctors having 2 "Rescuers" we can double our efforts of saving lives and sharing the Love of God to the suffering.

When I returned to the Hotel, I met the "IsraAID Team (WASH) in the lobby.

It didn't take me long to realize that this was a "Devine Appointment".

I presented them with a Rescuer and look forward to working with them in the future.

I first met IsraAid on the Poland-Ukraine border and know the extraordinary work they do.

So, yesterday evening I boarded a Myanmar Airways Boeing 737-800 for the quick flight back to Yangon.

Today, I'm working on a meeting with the American Embassy to let them know what I've been up to.

I begin the long journey home tomorrow and can hardly wait to get back to  my Cindy and our "Retreat Cabin".

Meanwhile, I had the privilege to train 2 teams in this region yesterday.

Now, 2 Communities in this region will have the ability to make their own dirty water very CLEAN!

The Pastor's son was just fascinated by the "Rescuer" in operation.

Again, it is such a JOY to present these communities with 2 Air Mobile Rescuers!

ANOTHER "RESCUER" DEPLOYED IN A HARD-HIT AREA

Our OB/AIR MOBILE Team departed for Sagaing, one of the hardest hit areas following the terrible 3:28 Earthquake.

As we crossed over a major bridge, you can see the other Bridge to the left was completely destroyed.

An hour later, we arrived at our location, Fruitful Vines Church. The Medical Team went right to work on setting-up.

The Church is beautiful and there is a sweet spirit in the air.  What a JOY to be here.

I was one of the first to be seen, taking my Blood Pressure...which was quite good at 121 / 77 .  PRAISE GOD!

While I was training the newly formed "Water Team", OB was busy seeing over 100 people with precious medical care.

What a privilege to present an Air Mobile Rescuer to this wonderful Church.  They will be able to serve the Community with CLEAN WATER!

The Church blessed our Team with a delicious meal.

When the last patient was seen, we then packed up and worked our way back to Mandalay.  It was a long, but rewarding day.

Today, I'm up early getting ready for another outreach, to another hard hit area.  OB will be doing another Medical Clinic and I will be training another "Water Team".

THANK YOU JESUS, for giving us this honor to serve you!

AN HOUR DRIVE TO AN ORPHANAGE BY A RIVER

We departed Mandalay to a location where Operation Blessing f(OB) and Air Mobile will bring hope. OB brought medical care & food.  Air Mobile brought CLEAN WATER.

We arrived next to a large river where one of the bridges completely collapsed from the 3:28 Earthquake.  The Orphanage was very near.

I did a quick set-up right next to a hand pump and trained the 3 Orphange ladies on the operation of the "Rescuer".

Once the Rescuer cleaned the water coming out of the pump, I threw a few filthy flip flops into the bucket and then drank the water.

Then, we had the ladies set-up the unit and operate it.  I love watching this part of the deployment.

After the operation and training was complete I had the privilege to present this Orphanage an Air Mobile Rescuer!  PRAISE GOD!!

I especially want to THANK OB for helping me to get here and share the love of God with this precious community!!

And...as always, THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!

CLOSING IN ON "GROUND ZERO"...

Up very early yesterday morning to catch a flight on Mandalay Airlines from Yangon to Mandalay in an ATR-72.

I brought 4 Air Mobile Rescuers with me to be deployed in some of the hardest hit regions near Mandalay.

Was met by Tha-Moo of  Operation Blessing (OB). I had worked with Tha-Moo earlier in Yangon.

As we departed the airport it was not long before we began to see the destructive power of the 3-28 Earthquake.
Right next to a massive collapse were businesses that were "seemingly" untouched.  Life Goes On.

OB International Director, Diego led the path into a community that was horribly hit.

While the Earthquake occurred, a huge underground gas pipeline exploded killing many and totally destroying hundreds of homes.  "DEVASTATION ON DEVASTATION".

Here's another angle on this one of "millions" of stories heart-break and suffering and hunger and thirst and the list goes on and on.

After laying out a plan for tomorrow, we returned to our "Base" Hotel and shared a wonderful meal with several other Humanitarian Organizations.

I love the UNITY, as described in Psalm 133..."How good and pleasant when brethren dwell together in unity".

Up early and soon to be heading out to one of the many "Ground Zeroes", bringing CLEAN WATER & HOPE to the suffering.

I'm so glad that you are here with me on this "Road of Life".

THANK YOU for your faithful prayer, love and support!!

HEADING TO MANDALAY....

Today, I will be boarding a flight to Mandalay....the hardest hit region of Myanmar following the deadly Earthquake. I am working closely with "Operation Blessing".  I so appreciate this great organization!

The situation on many fronts is dire.  In addition to the monster earthquake that killed nearly 4000, with thousands of injuries, rains are beginning to fall.

The Internet is spotty making communications extremely difficult, hindering relief.  My daily blog may be late.

Here's a story from "Doctors Without Borders" (MSF) that depicts the grim picture for millions. MSF (DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS) REPORTS

Folks, our Lord has opened so many doors for us to be here at this time.  Again, I'm THANKFUL to the Myanmar Embassy / Consulate in DC, who processed my Humanitarian Request so rapidly to get me here!

PLEASE join us in PRAYER as we seek to bring CLEAN WATER to the THIRSTY.

I am ever reminded of the Words of our Lord Jesus..."I was thirsty and you gave Me to drink"..."When you've done it unto the least of these, you have given it unto Me."

Well, it's time to head to the Yangon Airport to fly to Mandalay.

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

36 HOURS LATER....

Yesterday, I boarded a 1 hour flight from Thailand to Myanmar. This was the last "flight leg" on this long journey.

I was pleasantly relieved to see all 10 Air Mobile Rescuers arrive safe and sound.

The next step is to CLEAR CUSTOMS.  When I arrived at Customs, I was asked to show documentation for the Purifiers. The Customs Officers were courteous and professional.

Fortunately, while in the Humanitarian VISA process in DC, I had full documentation and was waived right through.  PRAISE GOD!!

Here is a shot as we exited the airport to our waiting Operation Blessing Staff!

I have worked all over the world with Operation Blessing and so appreciate their dedication and service to our Lord Jesus!

We then headed out to a wonderful restaurant in downtown Myanmar.

This phase of the operation was completed.  I laid down for the first time in 2 days and fell into a wonderful sleep.

Today, I will be in other meetings with other groups.

Tomorrow, I will be flying to Mandalay, the hardest hit region from the terrible earthquake.

Folks, I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate your prayer, love and support!!

The best is yet to come!!  God Bless!!

PRAISE GOD FOR THIS OPEN DOOR!!

4-8/9-25 Monday/Wednesday 7:15 AM (Bangkok, Thailand Time)  - ENROUTE TO MYANMAR"-  Report submitted by: Air Mobile Joe

IN THE AIR ALL NIGHT...

I'm writing from the Bangkok Airport.  I just landed.  This is the next stop to Myanmar.

Last night, the first leg from Atlanta to Doha (UAE) was full of major turbulence.  The AirBus 350-1000 took a lot of hard turbulent blows for hours.

I must admit, I pondered what a "ditch" landing would be like.  Then I would drift in and out of sleep because of the very strong turbulence.

We landed in Doha and had a fairly quick turn around.  Next leg is Bangkok and then to Myanmar where I'll meet several other team members.

PRAISE GOD for a safe journey thus far!!

Next stop Myanmar!!   THANK YOU, as always for your precious prayer, love and support!!

TIME TO FLY....

Yesterday morning, I departed Washington DC with my Myanmar Visa in my hand.  PRAISE GOD!

After the 8+ hour drive, I pulled up to our sweet "Retreat Cabin".

I re-packed with clean clothes and Yahn & I did the final pack on 10 Air Mobile Rescuers...bound for Myanmar.

This morning, I'll drive to Atlanta to catch my flight to Myanmar that departs this evening.

Folks, I'm so pleased to have you on-board with me on this vital life-saving Mission.

While I'm in Myanmar, Yahn will be building more "Rescuers" for possible deployment here in the U.S. following the latest round of wicked weather.

Well, it's time to do the final load and then "hit the road" for Atlanta to catch my LONG (35 hours) flight to Myanmar.

As I say, every single day, and truly mean with all of my heart, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!!

VISA IN-HAND

I am so THANKFUL to have received this Myanmar Visa.  I give a special THANKS to the Myanmar Diplomatic Personnel who processed my Visa request in a very short time.

This video is just after receiving the Visa in my brand new passport:

I especially want to THANK YOU for your vital prayers!!

The situation in Myanmar is grim.  Millions are without food, water & shelter.  We must get there and do what we can.

Here's more - MILLIONS WITHOUT FOOD, WATER & SHELTER

This morning, I'm packing up and hitting the road for TN.  There, I'll pick up 10 Air Mobile Rescuers and then drive back to Atlanta to catch a flight to Myanmar on Monday.

Meanwhile, we know that there is a strong line thunderstorms dropping a deluge of water in the South / Southeast.  We PRAY for the millions in the path of these deadly storms.

While I am in Myanmar, Air Mobile back home will be building more Air Mobile Rescuers to be ready to be deployed in the wake of the terrible flooding & violent storms hitting the Midwest / South even as I type this blog.

Well, it's time for me to pack up and make that 8+ hour drive back to TN.  I'll be dodging those wicked storms near my route home.

As always, and now more than ever, THANK YOU for your faithful prayer love and support!

AN ENCOURAGING WORD FROM THE "WORD"....

Well, here I am in Downtown Washington DC....WAITING to receive my requested Visa to go to Myanmar with 10 Air Mobile Rescuer Water Purifiers.

All requested documents have been submitted to the Myanmar Consulate and now....I wait.  I must admit that I do wrestle with patience.  I need more patience!

But...something wonderful happened yesterday.  I was in my room in the hotel and saw my little Camo Bible.  I picked it up, quietly asked our Lord to speak to me through His Word.  I opened it up and....read this -

So, here I sit and wait.  My life is in His Hands.  I PRAY for our Lord to lead each step of the way.

THANK YOU for meandering down this "road of life" with me.  I so appreciate your invaluable prayer, love and and support!!

IN THE MEANTIME....

With my fresh, renewed Passport, I've been able to complete my application with the Myanmar Embassy.  I have been in close touch the Consular Officer, who has been extremely helpful in this process.

I have answered many questions and believe that the Humanitarian Visa application is being processed.  I am staying Washington DC until I have this vital Visa in my hand.

I'm taking advantage of this "waiting" time by contacting the airline and getting the extra bags cleared for the flight to Myanmar.

I've also been in touch with the US Department of State and have been receiving valuable information that will help us to have a SUCCESSFUL MISSION!

ABOVE ALL...WE PRAY!!

THANK YOU for your invaluable prayer, love and support!!

A NEW PASSPORT!

Yesterday was a good day.  Received my renewed passport in my hand!

The system worked and now, this critical box can be checked toward our next "Mission to Myanmar".  PRAISE GOD!!

Meanwhile, my good friends at WBIR Channel 10 in Knoxville called me to get an update on our "Mission".

Today, we'll be working very hard to get the Humanitarian Visa through the Myanmar Embassy / Consulate here in Washington DC.

I'm still providing them with the information they need to issue this vital Visa.

Every hour that passes, more people die and the hope of finding survivors in the rubble diminishes.

There is so much heart-ache and pain.  To further add to this crisis, rain is expected and the Monsoon Season is on the horizon.  WE PRAY!!

PLEASE join us in prayer for this to happen!!

Stay tuned &....as always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!

PASSPORT TODAY....

This morning, I'll be meeting with the U.S. Passport Office to get my Passport renewed.  Having a fresh passport will assist me to enter into Myanmar.

The next step will be securing the Humanitarian Visa.  That request is in the works.  WE PRAY that it goes through!

Now, the situation for milllions in Myanmar is becoming more dire by the hour.  The hope of rescue is rapidly fading.  The need for CLEAN WATER is everywhere.

The tragedy is further exacerbated by the coming Monsoons.  This situation is becoming more desperate by the hour!

PLEASE PRAY that we are able to get in...in God's Will!!

It's time for me to get to the U.S, Passport office to submit my paper work.  Have to run. I'll write more later....

STRAIGHT TO THE MYANMAR CONSULATE....

I hit the road bright and early yesterday morning and drove 8 hours directly from our "Retreat Cabin" to the Myanmar Consulate in Downtown Washington DC.

I remember being in this same Consuluate building a number of years ago following a deadly Typhoon that killed hundreds of thousands.

The Myanmar Consular Officer that I met with briefly was courteous and thankful for the help that we are bringing in the gift of CLEAN WATER!

An official appointment has been set for today for me to apply for and receive (hopefully),  my Humanitarian Visa.  This will make bringing in the 10 Air Mobile Rescuers to Myanmar so much easier.  PRAISE GOD!

Now, the next obstacle to overcome is to get my Passport renewed.  Of course, you may recall, though my Passport was still current, it was within 6 months of renewal meaning that it would not allow me to get into Myanamar.

I am so pleased to say that after extensive conversations with the U.S. State Department, I have an appointment set up for SAME DAY passport renewal while I am in Washington DC.  The appointment is set up for tomorrow morning.  THANK YOU STATE DEPARTMENT!!

Cindy urged me to take a little time, between meetings while in DC to enjoy the cherry blossoms that are in full bloom.

I'll also slip over to one of my all-time favorite museums...The National Air & Space Museum.  It's been newly renovated.  I love this place!

Meanwhile, the situation in Myanmar is dire! The death toll is rapidly rising over 2700 and still climbing.  Millions are without food and water.

I am VERY EAGER to get to Myanmar, but....I must get the Humanitarian Visa and renewed passport in-hand before I can go.  THANKFULLY, the pieces are coming together.

PLEASE PRAY that all of the many details continue to come together for Air Mobile to GO!!  PLEASE PRAY about making a donation toward this mission!

As always, THANK YOU for your precious prayer, love and support!
